Punk Band Vanna Sued Guitar String Lodges in Fan's Nose

Published | Updated

A fan of punk rock has a bonus for his friends ... he can blow his nose in the key of C.

The fan isn't happy about it ... in fact, he's suing the band Vanna for musical assault. Eric Quiros was enjoying the punk band's performance at Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip back in 2013.

Eric says without warning a guitar flew through the air and struck him smack in the face. According to the lawsuit, Eric's nose was broken in 5 places. He also suffered lacerations to his face and a guitar string apparently punctured his nose, with a portion lodging inside it.

Poor Eric had surgery to fix his schnoz and remove the cord.

He's suing Vanna and the Whisky for unspecified damages.

'Alaskan Bush People' Your Asses Belong in Jail ... Judge Rips Up Plea Deal

Published | Updated

The "Alaskan Bush People" just got smacked down by a judge who made one thing clear -- if you steal from Alaska ... you're gonna do jail time.

Billy Brown -- the dad on the popular Discovery Channel show -- and his son Joshua Brown thought they'd struck a sweet plea deal. As we reported ... they copped to lying on their annual Alaskan oil refund docs and essentially stealing $8,000 from the state. The deal called for them to pay back the money, but dodge jail.

Not soooo fast -- on Thursday the judge in the case rejected that deal and said they deserve jail time for jacking oil funds from honest Alaskans.

The Browns -- who phoned in to the hearing -- and prosecutors will have to go back to the drawing board.

Fresno State Football Player Now Banned From Campus Too After Death Threat Arrest

Published | Updated

Ex-Fresno State football player Chris Pryor is in even deeper trouble with his school -- he's been booted from attending classes in the wake of his alleged death threat "prank."

As TMZ Sports first reported ... Pryor got kicked off the team 2 weeks ago after posting a rant on social media that included a threat to "take a headshot" at a student using an M4 Carbine rifle.

Bulldogs football immediately kicked him off the team, and now we've learned the former walk-on player has also been banned from campus altogether. The athletic department tells us Pryor will remain suspended at least until the university holds a conduct hearing, and it's unclear when it will be held.

Pryor's family had no comment about the campus ban. His father previously claimed the threat was merely a "prank." Still, he's facing a felony charge for a criminal threat.

Jared Fogle Sketch When You Find Out You Ain't Getting ... Subway for 15 Years

Published | Updated

Jared Fogle had that 15.6 year stare while sitting in federal court Thursday for his sentencing ... and a sketch artist captured it perfectly.

Fogle wore a black suit with red tie, and no eyeglasses. We'd ask why the long face, molester -- but that seems kinda obvious.

Meanwhile, Fogle's attorney got the Tom Brady treatment ... which, oddly, is not a good thing.

Jared Fogle Sentenced to 15 Plus Years in Prison

Published | Updated

11:25 PM PST -- A note from one of the victim's mother was revealed in court. She said, "My daughter has been impacted hard through all of this." Adding, her daughter "contemplated suicide" and "lives on sleep medication, depression medication, and anxiety medication."

Jared Fogle just had the book thrown at him ... a judge just sentenced him to 15.6 years in prison -- more than the proposed plea deal -- after his attorneys tried to blame weight loss for his "mild pedophilia."

Although the deal he struck with prosecutors was for a sentencing ranging from 5 to 12 1/2 years, Judge Tanya Walton Pratt was not bound by the deal. Nevertheless, Fogle rolled the dice this morning and formally pled guilty. After the sentence was imposed, he was remanded to custody.

Since Fogle will be in federal prison, the standard time served is 85% ... which would be just over 13 years, making him a free man in 2029. He'll be 51 when he's released.

When Fogle gets out, he'll be on lifetime supervised release.

Fogle's lawyers submitted legal docs making their case for the minimum sentence -- 5 years in prison -- in part because his molestation victims were 16 and 17, close to legal age.

Fogle's lawyer had an expert testify Fogle had a compulsive eating disorder and when he lost weight he replaced that compulsion with hypersexuality.

There were 12 victims of child porn and 2 victims of child prostitution.

Tyga Judge Says He Stiffed Dancer Real Bad

Published | Updated

Tyga just got schooled by a judge for not living up to his word when he promised to pay one of his dancers tens of thousands of dollars ... and it's more evidence his finances may be smoke and mirrors.

Allison Brown had sued Tyga, claiming she was plied with alcohol during a Tyga music video shoot and "coerced" to remove her top. She claims one of the men on set -- not Tyga -- grabbed one of her breasts during the shoot. She sued Tyga for sexual battery since he was in charge.

Allison and Tyga settled for around $50k, but he apparently only paid around half, so a judge just made it official and ordered him to pay the balance -- $25k plus more than $16k in lawyer's fees.

It's the latest judgment Tyga faces ... he has an outstanding tax lien totaling more than $19k, allegedly owes his landlord a fortune and Uncle Sam is knocking at his door.

ENTERING COURT

Jared Fogle's attorneys are making a last ditch effort to minimize his prison sentence by suggesting his famous drop in weight led to his compulsion for sex with minors.

Fogle stoically walked into the courtroom, where his lawyers had a sexual behavior expert testify that Fogle had compulsive eating disorder -- but his Subway weight loss took care of that. The expert added that once he lost the pounds he developed compulsive hypersexuality disorder.

It sounds bizarre, but clearly Fogle's lawyers are trying everything they can to convince the judge he doesn't deserve the maximum sentence of 12 1/2 years ... as laid out in his plea deal.

Fogle formally entered a guilty plea, and testimony is continuing before the judge announces his sentence.

Mike Huckabee Sued You Gotta Pay to Get the 'Eye of the Tiger'

Published | Updated

Mike Huckabee's rally for Kim Davis could end up costing him dearly because "Eye of the Tiger" was blaring during the event ... and the songwriter is so pissed he's filed a lawsuit.

Publishing company Rude Music Inc. filed the suit against "Huckabee for President." You'll recall ... Huckabee helped organize a September rally for the county clerk who refused to grant marriage licenses to gay couples. She triumphantly walked onstage to the Survivor hit song and theme from "Rocky III."

Rude Music says Huckabee's campaign should've known better than to use its song without permission -- because during his 2008 presidential campaign the rock band Boston reportedly warned Huckabee staffers about using "More Than a Feeling."

"Eye of the Tiger" was co-written by Frank Sullivan, a Survivor guitarist ... who owns Rude Music. He wants Huckabee to stop using the song, which shouldn't be a problem since Davis rallies have long since ended. But he also wants money for damages.

Dr. Dre TV Show Claims He's Father of Autistic Man ... Dre Calls BS

Published | Updated

One of the stars of "Selling It In the ATL" is about to go on the air and all but say Dr. Dre is the father of her son, but we're told Dre has proof positive he's not.

Fact is ... we're told Dre did indeed have a relationship with Gwen Boyd Moss, now an Atlanta real estate agent featured on the WeTV show. Back in the early '90s she gave birth to a son, named him Justin Young (Dre's real name is Andre Young) and informed Dre he's the daddy.

We're told Dre actually began paying Gwen child support and did so for years. But in 1998 Dre got a new lawyer, who asked him why he was convinced he was Justin's dad. Dre said he just assumed he was, but the lawyer insisted he get a DNA test.

We're told Dre actually got 2 tests, which show he is NOT the father. A judge ruled Dre was not the dad so Dre stopped paying child support.

Apparently it did not go over well with Gwen. She raised Justin, who is autistic, and continues to care for him. He's now 20.

We're told WeTV is about to air an episode in which Gwen reveals the name of Justin's dad, but it's bleeped -- we're told for legal reasons. Anyone watching will be able to connect the dots, because Gwen talks about various businesses in which Dre is involved.

We're told Gwen believes the DNA tests were doctored and is adamant Dre is the father.
