More trouble for Aldon Smith ... who was detained by police in San Francisco around 8 AM Thursday after a car he was riding in smashed into a cop car and the officer says Smith was drunk at the time.

The troubled Oakland Raiders star was NOT driving the car at the time of the crash, however cops did arrest the driver for DUI.

The bigger issue for Smith ... the alcohol allegations.

The 27-year-old has struggled with substance abuse and is currently serving an NFL suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

According to reports, he's still in the league's substance abuse program -- we're making calls to figure out his status.

Oscar De La Hoya has been hit with 2 misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from his January arrest in Pasadena ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The celebrity burglary thiefstravaganza continues ... this time, crooks struck the L.A. home of Lakers star Nick Young (again!) and made off with $500k in cash and jewelry after taking his entire safe!!!

Law enforcement sources confirm ... Young's Valley residence was hit in February when the bad guys entered through an unlocked door and pilfered the NBA star's valuables.

We're told crooks took roughly $30k in cash plus 3 gold chains, a custom ring and a locked safe containing other valuables.

Cops are on the hunt for the bad guys.

It's not the first time Young has been targeted -- thieves raided another home Nick was living in at the time back in 2014 and made off with $100k in stuff ... including Nick's beloved Yeezys.

So many stars have been burglarized in L.A. this year -- including Yasiel Puig, Alanis Morrissette, Derek Fisher and Cesar Millan -- they could start their own support group already.

The only problem with that ... who would keep an eye on their houses?

Judge Mathis says Faizon Love has one way out of his assault case ... but hizzoner thinks the attack video will be hard to overcome.

Mathis was at LAX Wednesday when he told our photog Faizon should be proactive by showing contrition in advance of his trial.

Thing to remember here ... we got Mathis before Faizon told us he was threatened and had spit hurled his way.

As for how bad the video is on a 1 to 10 scale ... Mathis doesn't have good news for Faizon.

Stephen Dorff has huge line of credit with his bank, but he's fully tapped out ... and nearly a million in the hole ... according to legal docs.

City National Bank says the actor and his production company opened a line of credit for $800,000 last year, but maxed it out. He was supposed to pay it all back by the end of 2016, but in docs filed Wednesday in L.A. ... the bank says he's gone radio silent.

As a result it's suing him for the full amount plus interest ... bringing his total due to $805,953.23, as of Feb. 28 -- plus another $10 in late fees. The bank points out the clock is ticking, and so is the interest.

The guy arrested for trashing a Kim Kardashian book display wasn't motivated by Kardashian hatred ... he just thought her book was too pornographic and accessible to kids in the store.

Carl Puia tells us he saw a mother yank away a copy of "Selfish" from her young boy in the Barnes & Noble. He says it was being displayed on an eye level shelf, not far from the children's section.

Puia claims he asked an employee to move the display to higher shelves, but 3 days later he returned and it was in the same spot. That's when he decided to go back and destroy the books with red liquid.

The 74-year-old says he's no holy roller, he just believes kids shouldn't be exposed to smut ... regardless of what celeb is behind it. Puia says he only turned himself in because he got a call from police saying a warrant was out for his arrest.

Faizon Love says he flew into a rage at a valet because the guy spit and threatened to get violent BEFORE Faizon attacked ... which is why he's NOT apologizing.

The actor told us he was ticked off about a $1,000 charge for long-term parking at Columbus airport, but says it was the valet who got lippy first ... threatening to "put hands" on Faizon. He says his breaking point came when he turned his back, and heard the valet clear his throat to spit.

The spit is not apparent in the surveillance video, but Faizon insists he did ... it just missed him.

Faizon thinks the guy needed to be taught a lesson about talking smack to people. As he puts it ... real life ain't Twitter.

Katt Williams' silence is golden for the brain surgery patient who sued him ... in fact, $86,000 worth of gold!

A Georgia judge just ordered the comedian to fork over that dough to Paul Love, who sued Katt last year for allegedly punching him in the head when Love was 10 weeks into recovering from brain surgery.

The legal victory was easy, considering Katt went MIA ... and never responded to the lawsuit.

We broke the story ... Katt allegedly flew into a rage at a pool supply store, and was accused of throwing a punch which sent the guy back to the hospital.

Katt has said he flipped out because Love called him the n-word -- but he did not share that tidbit with the court. Might've helped, but as it stands ... that'll be $86k, sir.

Louis Tomlinson did more than scrap with a paparazzo -- he also slugged the female witness square in the eye ... according to her.

Ana Becerra gave her side of the airport brawl, claiming she became a victim when Louis' gf went on the attack. She claims Louis jumped in to break things up, and she was shocked when he popped her in the face.

Becerra showed her injuries, allegedly from the fight and says she's planning to sue based on one simple principle -- men shouldn't hit women.

We broke the story ... Louis got into it with a paparazzo who was shooting the 1Der's gf, and then fought off Becerra -- who admits she too was shooting video with her phone.

Louis was arrested for battery and his case is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney.

K.C. Chiefs tight end Demetrius Harris was arrested for weed on Tuesday -- when a routine traffic stop in Missouri went very poorly.

The 25-year-old was a passenger in a car that was stopped by the Missouri State Highway Patrol around 4:22 PM ... and during the stop, officers suspected there was marijuana in the car.

Cops say they found more than 35 grams -- which is considered a felony in Missouri and carries serious penalties including 7 years in prison.

Look, 35 grams isn't a small amount of weed ... but it ain't exactly Snoop Dogg territory either.

He was booked for felony possession of weed and drug paraphernalia.

The "Cash Me Ousside" girl is back to her pre-Dr. Phil days ... because cops say they were called to her house and watched her yell and cuss at her mom right in front of them.

Law enforcement sources tell us they were called to Danielle's Boynton Beach, FL home Tuesday on a call for assistance. Danielle's 17-year-old friend, who'd allegedly been living with Danielle and her mom, Barbara, got kicked out by Barb and was giving her a hard time on the way out.

Cops say Danielle got into it with her mom too ... calling her names and cussing at her numerous times. However, things never got physical and cops left without further incident.

It's interesting ... Danielle's friend who got the boot is the same chick Danielle appeared with in Stitches' video ... wonder if mom's had enough?

Faizon Love unleashed extreme violence on that valet in the Columbus airport -- and the surveillance video shows the full brutality of the attack.

Airport officials just released this footage which show the actor and comedian talking to parking staffers, then getting so pissed he grabbed the valet by the back of his head and slammed him into a counter.

It's not really much of a fight because the much larger Faizon tossed the guy around like a rag doll until the guy's coworkers broke it up and police arrived. He was arrested for assault, arraigned in court Wednesday morning and released on $2,000 bond.

We obtained aftermath video, and Faizon was still super pissed.

Faizon Love so badly wanted a piece of a valet ... he couldn't stop talking trash even after the fight was broken up.

TMZ obtained this video shot Tuesday inside John Glenn Columbus International moments after Faizon and the valet got into a fight -- allegedly over how much the valet was charging the actor.

After the valet got slammed into a monitor, another guy stepped in to separate them ... but Faizon was still itching for a fight. Moments later police showed up.

As we reported ... Faizon was arrested for misdemeanor assault. He was released Wednesday morning on $2,000 bond.

Louis Tomlinson's fate in the battery investigation now rests with the L.A. City Attorney.

We've learned cops sent the case file to the prosecutor's office Tuesday, and the City Attorney will now review it for possible criminal prosecution.

As we reported, Louis allegedly attacked a paparazzo Friday night at LAX after the singer claimed the pap was harassing his girlfriend. A woman on the scene also claims Louis attacked her.

The City Attorney could file 2 separate misdemeanor batteries, each of which carries a maximum 6-month sentence.

People familiar with the case file say there's a complication with prosecuting Louis. The photog -- Karl Larsen -- was interviewed by Howard Stern a few years back and gloated about his confrontation with Mel Gibson, boasting his plan was to berate Gibson into going nuclear. The video of the incident doesn't show what happened before the confrontation, and the Stern interview could turn the jury.

The strong likelihood ... there will be an informal hearing in the City Attorney's Office where Louis will promise not to do it again. He could be ordered to take a few anger management classes, but that would probably be it.

Faizon Love got busted for fighting a valet right after touching down at an Ohio airport ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the incident went down Tuesday afternoon at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The 48-year-old comedic actor allegedly got into a physical confrontation with a valet attendant over how much he was being charged.

We're told the employee suffered minor injuries. Faizon was arrested for misdemeanor assault -- according to WCMH in Columbus -- and will remain in jail until his arraignment on Wednesday.

We reached out to Faizon's camp ... so far no word back.

Ex-USC football player Osa Masina will NOT be charged with rape in Los Angeles with prosecutors citing lack of evidence ... but he's still facing charges in Utah.

As we previously reported, Masina was investigated over an alleged July 2016 incident in which the female accuser claims Masina and another USC football player, Don Hill, raped her while she was passed out after drinking and doing drugs all day.

Masina adamantly denied raping the woman -- and told investigators she had consented to the sex acts.

Now, prosecutors say the investigation is complete and Masina will not be hit with charges. Here's why:

"Due to the victim's description of the amount of controlled substances and alcohol consumed by the suspects, as well as Masina's statements, there is insufficient evidence to prove they knew or should have known that she was unable to legally consent."

Prosecutors add, "There is insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt."

As for the case in Utah, Masina has been charged with forcible rape and forcible sodomy for another incident with the same woman a week after the L.A. incident.

The trial is set to begin later this month.
