Brooke was in Hawaii with her two little kids -- no word on where the children were during Brooke's outing.

Brooke had recently struck a custody agreement with Charlie Sheen -- who seemed unhappy with the arrangement after Brooke entered rehab back in April for substance abuse issues.

Worth noting -- days before she entered rehab, Brooke had a similarly bizarre episode at an L.A. pawn shop, in which she tried to sell off a watch and stereo for cash.

Plans are already in motion for a fifth season back in Seaside Heights -- but sources connected with the "Jersey" cast tell TMZ ... Pauly D, Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the gang refused to take part without signing new contracts first.

We're told MTV originally planned to shoot the new season under the terms of the Season 4 contracts -- but lawyers for the cast refused ... so MTV drew up new papers.

We're told the majority of the cast has already re-signed for a bump in salary -- not a HUGE raise, but still significant -- and the rest will sign this week.

The show is called "Shawn Michaels' MacMillan River Adventures" -- premiering next month on the Outdoor Channel -- but according to the show's rep, Shawn ain't just hunting for sport ... the guy actually EATS everything he kills.

We also spoke to Michaels himself, who tells us, "I am a Christian, I am an American, I am a family man, and I am a predator, and MacMillan River Adventures will allow my long-time fans and newfound friends to see what really makes Shawn Michaels the man that he is today.”

Weiner apologized to his constituents and to his wife. He said he was announcing his resignation because of the distraction he caused.

When Weiner said he was resigning, applause erupted in the room, and hecklers began chiming in, making it difficult for Weiner to continue. One of the people in the room -- Benjy Bronk from the Howard Stern Show, screamed, "Are you more than 7 inches?" Another screamed, "Yeah, get out of here pervert."

As he walked out, one heckler asked, "Will you maintain your hot physique?"

A rep for the Human Rights Campaign tells TMZ ... "Anarchy? Hardly. Committed gay and lesbian couples have been able to legally marry in five states and the District of Columbia — not to mention a number of foreign countries — for years now and cows are still giving milk, little boys are still pulling little girls’ pig tails, and we still drive on the right side of the street."

The rep adds, "New York’s passage of this law will result in nothing more than a more just and equitable society."

Jarret Barrios -- President of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation -- ain't holding back either, telling us, "Tyree’s statements are as misleading as they are ridiculous, and do not accurately reflect the growing acceptance that we're seeing from sports stars like Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Sean Avery, Brendon Ayanbadejo, Scott Fujita and fellow former Giant Michael Strahan."

Before Crystal called off the wedding ... just days before their wedding ... Hefner had already agreed to give her the July cover with the headline, "Mrs. Crystal Hefner."

Box loads of magazines have already been shipped without the sticker -- but Hefner insists the big, red mark WILL appear on newsstands.

Nader Sherif met Mel at a dinner party in 2007. According to the lawsuit, Nader claims Mel started jawboning him about a Malaysian company called Green Rubber, which developed a technology to devulcanize rubber so old tires could be recycled.

Sherif claims Mel tried convincing him to invest $200,000 in the company -- his entire life savings. Sherif says he was resistant, but someone from the company who was present at the dinner assured him the company would re-purchase Sherif's stock for the full face value whenever Sherif wanted.

But Sherif was still uneasy, telling Mel he had just had a child and could not afford to lose money. Sherif alleges Mel -- who is a "significant investor" in the company -- then told him if the company wouldn't make good, Mel would buy the shares from Sherif for the full $200,000.

Short story -- Sherif was going through hard financial times and wanted Green Rubber to buy his stock back. Sherif claims the company repeatedly refused to do so, and he then went to Mel, who allegedly ignored his demand.

Sherif is suing for $200,000 plus interest. We could not reach Mel's rep for comment.

Charlie is suing Warner Bros. for $100,000,000 claiming the studio had no right to 86 him from the show.

Charlie wanted the judge to rule the arbitration clause in his contract -- which says the dispute would be handled privately, behind closed doors -- is invalid. But the judge said the arbitration agreement is indeed valid, but left it to the arbitrator to decide if the matter would be resolved in private or in a public courtroom. So Charlie can press his request for a public trial to the arbitrator.

Mildred's lawyer tells us, "Mildred was tired of people selling their lies to the media or claiming to speak for her when they do not ... She gave the interview in order to set the record straight once and for all."

Her lawyer adds, "All she wanted to do was put the lies and rumors to rest. And we believe that she has done that through this interview."

Boehner didn't expand on the subject -- he simply gave a one word answer when asked if Weiner should step down ... that one word being, "Yes."

Cops in Anderson, IN tell TMZ, someone called police from Amber's home -- claiming the 21-year-old "was depressed and threatening to end her life."

According to law enforcement, Amber did not appear to be injured when cops arrived -- and she was promptly taken to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.

Our sources -- who are all at the mansion -- say Crystal, 25, and Hef, 85, had a nasty argument this weekend on the phone. When the dust settled Crystal decided to 86 the nuptials and quickly moved her stuff out.

The wedding was supposed to go down Saturday. It would have been Hef's, umm ... third marriage.

UPDATE: Hef just tweeted -- "The wedding is off."

In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Baena finally reveals the name of the 13-year-old love-child -- Joseph -- and says when he found out Arnold was his father, his reaction was, "Cool!"

During the interview, Mildred says Maria sensed "something was up" after hearing "whispers" in the household about Joseph's resemblance to Arnold.

Mildred explained, "[Maria] would say things like, 'I’m here if you need to talk.' I sensed something was up. I have so much love and respect for Maria."

Mildred says Maria finally asked her "point blank" -- and Mildred was so emotional, she fell down on her knees in front of her.

“She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn’t Arnie’s fault, that it takes two.”

And despite reports that Joseph had only recently found out that Arnold was his father, Mildred says it isn't true -- Joseph has known for the last year ... and has carried the secret ever since.

Mildred says Joseph is now looking forward to building a relationship with his biological father.

The rant -- aimed at "haters" who posted negative comments on the rapper's Facebook page -- included the lines, "IM TIRED OF WHITE PEOPLE DOING US LIKE THIS MAN!! THEY TREAT US SO WRONG!! f**k THEM."

The rant continued, "I'm gonna keep talking sh*t to these white f*ggots until they unlike my page. f**king weirdo stalkers!"

Now, in a statement to TMZ, Soulja says, "I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked."

TMZ has confirmed the buyer is 22-year-old Petra Ecclestone, a fashion designer. Her dad, Bernie Ecclestone, is the CEO of Formula One Management, whose estimated net worth is $4 billion.

The Holmby Hills (Beverly Hills adjacent) mansion, listed at $150 million, has been on the market since March, 2009.

Although we don't know the exact price, sources connected with the deal tell TMZ ... Petra opened at $75 mil ... half the asking price.

Sources say the deal is currently in escrow and has not closed.

The estate has a bowling alley, beauty salon, several gift-wrapping rooms and parking for 100 cars.

Candy bought 2 penthouse units in a nearby condo complex in Century City for a whopping $35 million. We're told the condo won't be ready for a year, because of extensive renovations.

Obama, who made his statement to "Today" anchor Ann Curry for broadcast Tuesday, said "Well, obviously what he did was highly inappropriate. I think he's embarrassed himself, he's acknowledged that, he's embarrassed his wife and his family."

Obama continued, "And when you get to the point where, because of various personal distractions, you can't serve as effectively as you need to -- at the time when people are worrying about jobs and their mortgages and paying the bills -- then you should probably step back."
