Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller -- Privacy Pleeeze

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen's lawyer wants a private meeting with the judge -- with only one reporter present.

TMZ has just obtained a letter filed this morning from Richard Cummins, Charlie Sheen's lawyer, in which the attorney asks the judge to handle the whole protective order modification in chambers, not in the courtroom.

Cummins writes, in his letter to the clerk which was filed with the court, "Obviously, both Ms. Sheen and Mr. Estevez do not wish this to become a media circus and would, as much as possible, like to have their privacy respected understanding that they are celebrity figures so there is a public interest and the necessity of media coverage."

Cummins says it's ok by him if there is one pool reporter in chambers who would then pass the info along to the other reporters waiting outside. There is no mention of whether the pool reporter would have access to a TV camera, but it's unlikely the judge would ever go for that.

As we first reported, Charlie and Brooke Mueller want the order of protection modified so they can have contact with each other in an attempt to save their marriage.

Warrant Executed in Gilbert Arenas Gun Case

Published | Updated

UPDATE: Crittenton's lawyer says no evidence was found or seized by police during the search.

TMZ has learned the D.C. police -- with the help of cops in Arlington County, Virginia -- have executed a search warrant this morning at the home of Javaris Crittenton -- looking for the gun that may have been secretly wheeled out of the Washington Wizards locker room in a laundry basket.

Law enforcement tells us after Javaris and Gilbert Arenas drew guns on each other during a Christmas Eve standoff, witnesses believe they saw Javaris throw his gun into a laundry basket and someone from the organization wheeled it out.

We know there was surveillance video of people coming out of the locker room and cops are looking to see if they can spot the person who was pushing the cart.

Nevertheless, cops convinced a judge they had probable cause to search Crittenton's home -- we don't know if they found the gun.

Elton was a guest judge in season three of 'Idol.'

We contacted Elton's rep to see if he was interested. She said tersely, "He's on holiday."

Michael Jackson's Insane Interior Design

Published | Updated

Michael Jackson spent more than $700,000 on all sorts of flamboyantly bizarre furniture before he died -- but now, it could be yours ... if the price is right.

TMZ has learned MJ ordered the incredibly unique items for a London mansion he was supposed to live in during the run of his "This Is It" tour ... but he died before the Italian furniture maker -- Colombostile -- could deliver the goods.

Colombostile tells us they gave the $700,000 back to Katherine Jackson and they plan to auction the items off in the near future.

Among the items -- lavish sofas, a crystal-encrusted chair, a desk with a secret compartment and much more -- check out the gallery for more details. We're told Jacko bought one of the chairs specifically for his friend Elizabeth Taylor to sit in when she came to visit.

There's also a seashell-studded chair that was intended for MJ's "Little Mermaid" room -- we're guessing it was for his daughter Paris, but then again, ya never know...

UPDATE:
Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, "It's an outrageous lie that Mrs. Jackson has received even a cent. She's never even heard of these people."

'Real Housewives' Husband Popped for DWI

Published | Updated

The husband of Teresa Giudice from "Real Housewives of New Jersey" was hospitalized early this morning after wrecking his car in NJ -- where cops from one town charged him with DWI ... and then cops from another town swooped in and arrested him over some outstanding warrants.

The Montville Township Police Department tells TMZ they responded to an emergency call made at 1:47 AM after a car struck a pole in Montville -- and when they arrived, Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice was at the scene.

We're told Joe was taken to the Morristown Memorial Hospital -- and after a blood sample was taken, Joe was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain a traffic lane.

Joe's problems didn't stop there. Cops say there were warrants out for his arrest in Clifton, NJ over some city ordinance violations -- so the MTPD handed Joe over to the Clifton PD, who locked him up and held him on $2,625 bail. He was released at 6:20 AM.

Jesse McCartney - No Nude Photo, Or Else

Published | Updated

Jesse McCartney wants everyone to know ... if you publish a nude photo of him -- even one that looks like him -- he'll sue you.

The photo is floating around ... showing what looks like a naked McCartney all by his lonesome, laying on a bed with a candy G-string, fully exposed. According to the New York Post, it's being shopped around by an angry ex. Someone sent it to TMZ on Dec. 22, but we did not publish it.

McCartney's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has fired off a

to any web site that would dare publish the photo.

Holley warns, "a person is attempting to circulate a nude photo which purports to be Mr. McCartney." She goes on, "McCartney was unaware of the taking of this alleged photo, did not knowingly participate in the taking of this photo, and certainly did not consent to the taking of such photo."

Holley says in the letter, "it appears that this photo has been manipulated and doctored by computer software."

Holley says the publication of the photo "would be a grave invasion of Mr. McCartney's privacy rights" and she'll go after anyone who publishes it for "substantial monetary damages."

Panic Over Heidi Montag Topless Photos

Published | Updated

Moments after Heidi Montag's newest chesticular operation, her assistant went into full panic mode after a camera containing photos of Heidi's bare jumblies went missing during an ambulance ride.

It all went down in November as Heidi was being transported from the hospital where she got the implants to a recovery center via a private ambulance company.

After Heidi was dropped off, her assistant realized a camera containing numerous photos -- mostly showing a topless Heidi during various stages of her new operation -- was M.I.A.

Sources say the assistant called in a red alert to the ambulance minutes after it left the recovery center and ordered the driver to turn around -- but she didn't tell the driver why.

Heidi got her camera back, and one of the photos is featured in this week's People ... we're guessing for a lot of $$$. It's just the way Spencer Pratt rolls.

KISS Singer Rips 'Tall, Thin, Tattooed' Accuser

Published | Updated

Gene Simmons is lashing out at the couple accusing him of being a violent, choke artist -- claiming he was the one who was accosted by a "tall, thin, tattooed" aggressor.

It's all over an incident outside of a movie theater in L.A. back in December -- in which Simmons claims he was walking with his family, when Nathaniel Marlowe and Cynthia Manzo "jumped at them and started yelling in their faces."

Simmons' attorney, Barry Mallen, tells TMZ Gene saw Marlowe point a "small electronic device" at his family, so he ripped away the device and "moved Marlowe aside" so the family could safely get to their car.

Days after the incident, the couple filed a lawsuit against Simmons, claiming assault, battery, emotional distress and more.

But Team Simmons claims the accusers are simply "opportunistic" and "riddled with distortions and false accusations."

The two sides are set to do battle in court sometime soon -- stay tuned.
