Elizabeth Chambers is finally ditching something she's held near and dear to her -- her maiden name.

Chambers and Armie Hammer were married back in 2010 ... but she never took his name, choosing instead to go by Elizabeth Crawley Buntin Chambers (no Downton Abbey relation).

The Lone Ranger's wife has filed docs in LA -- asking to legally become Elizabeth Chambers Hammer.

Several benefits ... being a Hammer's a good thing, it's easier to write, plus she now has a pass to rock parachute pants ... they're making a big comeback!

The daughter of blues legend B.B. King is WRONG ... her dad is not being grossly mistreated by his manager -- this according to King's own doctor who says he's not being mistreated at all.

B.B.'s daughter claimed his manager, Laverne Toney, was ignoring clear signs of medical distress and insinuated money was the end game.

But we just got a statement from a lawyer hired by Toney, who claims to rep B.B. King. The lawyer included a statement from B.B.'s doctor of 10 years, Dr. Darin Brimhall, who says, "The care and treatment that Mr. King has received, and continues to receive, is medically appropriate and I have seen no signs of any mistreatment of Mr. King."

What the lawyer DOESN'T say is interesting. B.B.'s daughter says her dad is at death's door, and the doctor doesn't dispute that.

Karen Williams claims in new legal docs her dad is being horribly neglected by B.B.'s manager, Laverne Toney. She says Toney has hired a caregiver who got so drunk he fell asleep and B.B. fell and bashed his face in.

Williams says Toney won't take her dad to the dentist to treat his abscesses, because she says he's broke. Yet Williams claims B.B. had a $5 million balance in his account just last year.

But Williams says the money is being drained, and quickly. She says in April 2014, more than $453k was withdrawn from B.B.'s account.

TMZ broke the story, Toney refused to let the family take B.B. to the hospital late last week after the legend suffered a minor heart attack. Cops came and took B.B. to the hospital, where he was examined and then released.

Williams says Toney has claimed B.B. is at death's door, yet she won't allow anyone to see him, which Williams says is suspicious.

Williams is asking a judge to make her the guardian of her dad's estate.

Bad news for Michael Lohan, with a silver lining ... he still owes Dina Lohan a big chunk of change in child support, but at least now he gets to pay it off over time.

MiLo cut a check recently for $9,500 to the New York State Child Support Processing Center to partially settle his debt with Dina. He still owes around $6,000.

The judge has mercifully let the patriarch pay the balance in $1,500/month installments. Michael had previously argued he paid his kids directly because Dina was irresponsible in the money department, but the judge scoffed, ruling that dog don't hunt.

The judge had previously revoked Michael's passport and suspended his driver's license, but he got them back once he paid the $9,500.

You'd think Nick Cannon would be preparing for war against Mariah Carey after releasing her song, "Infinity," which seems to put him in her crosshairs, but she says it's not ... and he's buying it.

According to our sources, the song is about women in general and how some "lose themselves in their man." We're told Mariah says it is "not specifically about her relationship with Nick."

As for the lyric that seems to say Nick doesn't have his own money, we're told Mariah was singing about men with no ambition to be successful ... doesn't seem to fit Nick.

Manny Pacquiao ran away from home at the age of 12 ... when he caught his father eating his pet dog ... this according to his trainer Freddie Roach.

Roach was talking to Yahoo! Sports about how the boxer's family struggled with poverty in the Philippines when he was a child -- and apparently, things were so tough ... Manny's father cooked the family dog for food.

When Manny realized what had happened, he ran away from home -- and began to live on the streets.

"He slept in a cardboard box. He fought his way through all this, turned pro at 14, and look at the man he is today," Roach said.

In a truly weird turn, Bruce Jenner's sons, along with Kim Kardashian, are warning him to slow down on revealing too much of his journey on reality TV.

Sources connected with Bruce's brood tell us, Kim and the boys think Bruce was spectacular on the Diane Sawyer special and won over millions of people in the process.

They say they're worried Bruce's upcoming docuseries might "de-class" what he's accomplished. We're told they also urged Bruce not to do other interviews and finish the process in private.

We're told some of the kids have gone to their dad to express their concern, but the ship has sailed. Bruce believes the docuseries will educate people and create empathy, so he's committed.

We're also told Bruce's kids won't appear on his show.

Sources connected to both Khloe and Lamar tell TMZ, the 2 of them are not romantic and are not talking reconciliation, but they don't want to close the door on the marriage either. That explains why Khloe's divorce has been laying dormant in the courts for more than a year ... the judge has even said if she doesn't s*** or get off the pot, he'll dismiss it.

Our Lamar sources says there's bad blood on both sides. It's not as if he's begging her to reconcile ... he feels betrayed by Khloe as well. The Lamar sources say she's told him he has to make some sort of "grand gesture" before they can go the next step, and so far he's not willing to do it.

For her part, we're told she has "a big heart" and doesn't want to hurt him by sealing the deal on the divorce. But it's more than just mercy ... we're told she still has feelings for him.
