Jon Jones is no match for Wladimir Klitschko or his brother Vitali -- so claims Joe Rogan ... who tells us the UFC champ's goal to beat one of the Ukrainians is laughable.

Joe couldn't have been clearer before blowing out of  LAX ... Jones wouldn't stand a chance in the boxing ring with either Klitschko -- both world heavyweight boxing champs.

Rogan says Bones WOULD have a better chance in an MMA fight ... but one Klitschko would still have a serious edge.

Kanye West says he went after that photog at LAX because he feared for his safety ... and that's why he pulled out a can of whoop ass and used it.

Kanye is responding to the civil suit filed by the paparazzo who claims Kanye assaulted him on July 19th at LAX and caused him serious injury. According to Kanye's answer to the lawsuit, filed by Shawn Holley and obtained by TMZ ... he believed "his safety was in immediate danger." And then there's this: "[Kanye] responded to this assault by doing only those acts that were reasonably necessary for his self-defense ..."

Adam "Pacman" Jones -- aka the NFL's version of DMX -- was arrested again, this time during a DUI stop where he wasn't even the suspect ... for once.

Jones was the passenger in a car Ohio State Patrol pulled over early Monday morning -- and he reportedly mouthed off to officers while they were conducting a field sobriety test on the woman was driving.

The Cincinnati Bengals' star cornerback was arrested for disorderly conduct and released. The driver was also arrested for OVI ... operating a vehicle impaired.

Jones has a string of legal issues -- 8 arrests since entering the league 2005 -- and could be suspended by the league or the team for this latest one.

NBA star DeAndre Liggins just surrendered after being charged with beating his girlfriend and throwing an Xbox at her.

Liggins allegedly ran into the bedroom he shared with his GF in Oklahoma City ... then grabbed her by the hair, pulling her out of the bed. Then, for bad measure, he allegedly punched her 11 to 12 times and then hurled an Xbox and a box fan at her head -- striking her. He then allegedly held her at bay.

What's worse ... the fight went down right in front of their 2-year-old son.

Liggins has been charged with 7 criminal offenses, including domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping.

Rapper Mack Maine is facing the music ... he turned himself in to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office early Friday morning to face a felony charge for allegedly assaulting two women on his tour bus ... TMZ has learned.

Mack was booked in Oklahoma City for aggravated assault and battery with great bodily injury -- in connection with an alleged incident that went down on August 22.

As TMZ first reported ... one of the women claims Mack stuck his hand down her shirt and grabbed her breast -- while the other woman alleges he punched her in the face ... when both women were attempting to get off the bus.

Mack is currently behind bars ... and his bond has been set at $9,000.

"American Pie" star Eddie Kaye Thomas is safe for now -- the chick who pulled a knife on the actor inside his home back in April has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from him at all times.

As we reported, Eddie had met 31-year-old Roxanna Bear at Mel's Diner in L.A. just 24 hours before the knife incident and brought her home. The following afternoon, she allegedly flipped and threatened him with the knife ... and Eddie ran out of the house to call police.

Bear then barricaded herself inside, until cops eventually smoked her out (with tear gas) and arrested her.

She has been in jail since, but was just released after finally seeing a judge (so much for a speedy trial).

She pled guilty to a charge of felony vandalism for trashing Eddie's home, and the remaining counts against her -- including the knife threatening thing -- were dismissed.

Bear was sentenced to 312 days in jail for the crime, but was given credit for time served (156 days) due to good behavior. She was also sentenced to 3 years formal probation, and was ordered to complete a 52-week psychiatric counseling program.

NYPD dropped the hammer on the CBS drama "Person of Interest" today -- shutting down filming of the show after locals called cops thinking a scripted gun battle was the real deal ... TMZ has learned.

According to witnesses ... some NYC residents saw people with guns near 47th Street and 5th Avenue today, and believed they were about to get caught in a shootout.

We're told officers (real ones) responded ... and discovered the action was all part of the TV crime drama -- and the firearms were just props, but producers were still guilty of a major no-no.

All gun scenes are supposed to be filmed with NYPD supervisors on the set -- and since this wasn't, cops shut down all outdoor production.

The Mayor's Office confirmed the show's permit was revoked -- which forced producers to immediately stop shooting outside for the day.

Sources connected to the production company tell us the whole mess was a "scheduling error" -- they started shooting earlier than planned ... before NYPD monitors arrived. We're told no shots were fired.

Kanye West is getting prosecuted for screwing with a photographer's equipment at LAX, but Lamar Odom basically did the same thing and he's not facing criminal charges ... and TMZ knows why.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... honchos in the L.A. City Attorney's Office cut Lamar a break because this is the first time he ever went on the attack against a paparazzo. You'll recall Lamar went into a photog's car and chucked his camera equipment into the street, damaging it. Lamar has been ordered to attend an informal hearing but will NOT face criminal charges.

Our sources say the reason they're going after Kanye is his history of attacking photographers. Specifically, the City Attorney has zeroed in on another incident at LAX back in 2008, when he grabbed a photog's camera and threw it to the ground. The case was filed, but later dismissed after Kanye paid for the repair.

Mack Maine -- who's rapped with everyone from Lil Wayne to Rick Ross -- has been hit with two felony criminal charges in Oklahoma after cops say he sexually assaulted a female fan and then punched the woman's female friend in the face ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, officials believe the 31-year-old rapper invited Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox onto a tour bus on August 22, 2013 ... and while on the bus, "put his hand down Rachel's dress and grabbed her right breast" without her consent.

The docs say, "Rachel got upset and when she and Cailey tried to leave the bus, [Mack Maine] held the door shut."

"Once the door was opened, Cailey was walking down the steps but turned and looked back to call for Rachel and [Mack] punched her in the face, breaking her jaw and knocking her down."

Here's something new ... video of Anthony Weiner in a standoff with someone in NYC this weekend, and for once, he's not the biggest jerk in the clip.

Anthony was walking his nearly 2-year-old son across the street (cute moment actually) when some cabbie in a bright yellow SUV made a hard turn RIGHT IN FRONT of Weiner and son.

Weiner was clearly pissed ... yelling what sounds like, "What the f**k?" ... while staring down the driver.

He even broke out the "f-you stroll" -- slowing his walk to a snail's pace and forcing the cabbie to sit there and wait until Weiner got out of the way.

Kanye West has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft for allegedly attacking a paparazzo at LAX on July 19 ... TMZ has learned.

Kanye went off on the photog ... who dared to speak with him as he left the airport. The photog went to the hospital and has filed a lawsuit. The photog hired Gloria Allred, who has said the attack left her client badly injured.

Just days before the attack Kanye issued multiple warnings to the paparazzi NOT to speak to him.

If convicted of both misdemeanors ... Kanye faces a maximum of 1 year in jail.

He'll be arraigned October 10th.

We attempted to reach Kanye's lawyer, Blair Berk, but her assistant said she was unavailable "because it's the highest holy day of the year for Jews" and she was at services.

A$AP Rocky won't be getting wild for the night at a music festival in Canada -- the event organizers just canned the rapper over his alleged fan-slapping ways.

TMZ broke the story -- A$AP was charged with criminal battery last week for allegedly slapping a fan during a Philadelphia concert ... and the victim wants his ass punished in court.

AR was scheduled to perform at York University next Wednesday in Toronto -- but the school's student federation has now pulled the plug saying, "the event cannot proceed until this matter is resolved."

The organizers added ... their decision to boot A$AP does NOT mean they think he's guilty of getting slaphappy.

The alleged victim Lisa Wade called in to TMZ Live last week -- and said the slapping was no accident.

New footage has surfaced appearing to show the moment George Zimmerman "smashed" an iPad that may contain proof he punched his father-in-law during an alleged altercation last week.

The footage was captured on a home security system moments after the alleged altercation at the Florida rental home where George and Shellie Zimmerman had been living.

Shellie told a 911 operator George took a pocket knife to the iPad and then smashed it ... and the video appears to back up the story.

While you can't actually make out a pocket knife in the footage, it's obvious George is finagling with the device ... before he tosses it on the ground.

Shellie recovers the iPad moments later.

After the incident, Shellie turned the iPad over to cops -- and they're confident they can recover any footage that was stored in the device, but acknowledge it was pretty badly damaged.

It's like a scene out of "America's Most Wanted" -- cops swarmed George Zimmerman's car yesterday and ordered him to get down on his knees before handcuffing and detaining him ... all over a domestic dispute involving his estranged wife ... and the insane moment was caught on tape.

Lake Mary PD just released the dashcam footage to TMZ, showing a police cruiser careening down the street and coming to a stop about 50 yards away from George's car, parked outside the home he shared with his estranged wife ... before she filed for divorce.

It's all in the video ... police ordered George to get out of his vehicle, turn around, and get on his knees. George complied and he was immediately handcuffed.

As we reported, George's estranged wife Shellie called 911, claiming George had threatened her and her dad inside their home ... gesturing toward his gun. She also accused George of punching her dad in the face.

Lamar Odom has just been sued by the photog whose equipment the NBA star trashed on the street back in July ... and the pap is partly blaming Kanye West for Lamar's outburst, TMZ has learned.

Stefan Saad filed the lawsuit, claiming the NBA star assaulted him and destroyed more than $15,000 worth of camera equipment during the attack in the middle of a Hollywood street ...all in an effort to avoid negative press.

The lawsuit trashes the Kardashians and Lamar with gems like this -- "The Kardashian clan has apparently come to believe that it is above the law, and has some exceptional privilege to disregard the rights of others."

The lawsuit goes on "The Kardashian clan are not only wealthy and attractive -- but also deeply flawed."

As we reported, Lamar blew a gasket after the pap peppered him with questions about cheating on Khloe, opening Saad's car and tossing all his gear onto the pavement, including expensive camera equipment.

Lamar then took a bundle of the photog's crap, placing it in his own car. The entire incident was caught on tape.

According to Stefan's lawsuit, Lamar feels like he's "above the law" because he's married to a Kardashian sister. Stefan even believes Kanye West had a hand in all this, claiming the rapper (who's dating Kim) advised him on how to deal with paparazzi in a Kanye fashion.

The father/son gator huntin' duo from "Swamp People" are no bottle-smashing bad guys ... in fact, they were the REAL victims in a mini-mart attack in Louisiana last week, so says a rep for the reality stars.

As we previously reported, R.J. and Jay Paul Molinere were arrested this weekend after an altercation with a 24-year-old man that began on a nearby highway. The guy claimed the Molineres followed him into a nearby market and broke a beer bottle over his head.

But the Molineres claim they did NOTHING wrong ... and their rep says they were merely the victims in an aggravated assault carried out by "someone who is now seeking fame and notoriety."

The rep adds, "It's important for their fans to know that the Molineres are the same good-natured, faith-based family they've always been."
