It was a hard knock life for Roc-A-Fella records co-founder Damon Dash on Wednesday when he stepped into a boxing ring with 2-time welterweight champ Andre Berto ... and got socked up.

Dash and Berto were training at the famous Ten Goose Boxing gym in L.A. with Ricky Funez ... when they decided to turn things up a notch and spar against each other.

Props to Dash for having the stones to test his mettle against one of the BEST fighters alive ... and he got a few good shots off ... but in the end, it was all Berto.

Side note ... Dame had a celebrity audience watching the fight -- with Cam'ron and Lil Za ringside when the whole thing went down.

Yung Berg flew into a drunken rage that ended with his GF allegedly getting choked ... all because his credit card was declined.

According to sources close to Yung's GF, Masika Tucker ... after a booze-filled night at the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion show in NYC, Berg went to pay his bill, but the card was over the limit.

Yung stormed out, went to his hotel and Masika followed. She told him she paid the bill and schooled him for leaving her ... and he reacted by grabbing her by the neck, throwing her on the bed and pulling her out of the room by her hair.

Yung then allegedly continued his assault by choking her out.

TMZ broke the story ... Yung was arrested for "obstruction of breathing."

Masika is already jumping to Yung's defense, saying it's totally out of character for him ... and she blames it all on alcohol.

Congrats, MasterCard ... you're off the hook.

One punch ... that's all it took for Princess Love to lay one of her castmates out flat ... during a brawl while taping the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion show.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Morgan Hardman was bad-mouthing Princess' BF, Ray J, while they were filming Monday in NYC ... so Princess allegedly hauled off and decked her ... knocking her flat on her back.

Hardman was telling everyone in earshot that Ray J physically abused her. She went on to say Ray J threw her son off his basketball team out of spite. Ray J fired back ... saying the kid wasn't old enough to be on the team, but will next year. He also said he never laid a hand on Hardman.

Apparently, Princess Love reached her breaking point and cold-cocked her. An ambulance came and paramedics treated her on scene.

The fallout from the epic "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" reunion show brawl just keeps coming ... TMZ has learned Joseline Hernandez is now wanted by NY cops for assault.

The reunion turned into a massive fight, with castmates Benzino, his fiancée Althea, Stevie J, Joseline, Debra, Tammy, and Mimi all duking it out.

Althea filed a police report, claiming Joseline was the instigator, and apparently the NYPD saw it Althea's way ... because there's now an open case against Joseline. If she comes to NYC and gets pulled over or they spot her, she'll be arrested for the alleged crime and possibly face charges.

Since the brawl ... Benzino and Althea got the boot ... and Althea filed suit against Joseline, claiming she was high on cocaine during the fight. She was served at her home last week.

The trackside brawl between Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski was 100% AUTHENTIC ... and not a scripted stunt to get ratings ... so says fellow driver Michael Waltrip.

Waltrip was at LAX on his way out of Hollywood after being eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" -- when we asked about the bloody altercation at Texas Motor Speedway.

Of course, there's talk NASCAR put the drivers up to the fight to get a boost in ratings ... which are reportedly down 6% from last year.

But Michael ain't buyin' it -- telling us the rage couldn't be more real. Check out the clip.

Now we know why Nicki Minaj and her longtime boyfriend broke up ... one of them was on the verge of going to jail after she smashed the windows of his Mercedes with a baseball bat.

Here's what we know. During the summer, Nicki and Safaree Samuels got into an argument. She started screaming, he got pissed, and she EXPLODED in anger, grabbing a bat and chasing him out of the house. She wisely chose property over person, and pulverized the 2012 Benz.

And for bad measure, she threw his clothes in the garbage -- just like in the movies.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... cops were called to the house, but no arrests were made. Safaree was escorted out of the house and left.

As for why Nicki didn't get in trouble ... it appears she owned the Mercedes, but allowed him to use it, and you can't get arrested for destroying your own property.

They broke up a short time later. Wise move.

Jason Patric just won a 2-year legal battle against his baby mama -- with a judge just declaring he is the legal father of 4-year-old Gus ... TMZ has learned.

Jason had a baby with ex-GF Danielle Schreiber, and after breaking up -- getting back together and breaking up again -- she fought hard against his bid to become the legal father, citing a quirky law.

According to the law ... if a man donates sperm to a woman to whom he is not married and a doctor facilitates the insemination ... the man has NO claim of custody or parental rights.

The trial judge ruled against Jason, he appealed and the appellate court said the trial judge was off base and sent it back for another hearing.

The second time was a charm for Jason. We've learned the trial judge just issued a sealed 45-page opinion ... concluding Jason is the legal father.

The judge ordered Jason, Danielle and their lawyers to try and hash out a custody, visitation and support agreement ... but if they can't, the judge will make the decisions.

This case became a rallying cry for father's rights -- and an enormous victory for Jason.

UPDATE: Schreiber's rep tells TMZ, "The proposed statement of decision is not intended to be public nor is it final."

Benzino and fiancee Althea Eaton think "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" should air on Animal Planet ... because they think producers are making them scapegoats.

Production sources tell us the couple was given the boot Wednesday AM ... with no explanation.

Benzino says it's obvious he and Althea are being blamed for the fight between them and castmates Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J ... a brawl that proved irresistible for other cast members.

TMZ broke the story ... Althea sued Joseline, claiming she started the fight while she was high on crack.

Although Althea got her ass whooped ... producers sided with Joseline, even though other castmates felt Joseline should have gotten the boot.

VH1 wouldn't comment, but it's pretty obvious. Joseline's better TV, and that trumps everything.

Keyshia Cole just dodged a bullet ... she will NOT be prosecuted for attacking a woman inside Birdman's L.A. condo ... but she may still get an anger check.

Sources in the L.A. City Attorney's Office tell TMZ ... they will not prosecute Cole after she went to Birdman's crib in the middle of the night last month, allegedly spotting a woman inside and going nuts on her.

Prosecutors have told Cole that instead of going to trial, they want her to appear at an informal office hearing, where someone from the City Attorney's Office will listen to her and the victim and then give the singer a stern warning not to do it again ... or else.

The hearing officer can require Cole to go to anger management courses ... something they've done in similar cases before.

Audrina Patridge has a crazy excuse for her crazy crying session outside a Halloween party this weekend, and let's just say ... the eyes have it.

Hey, at least her explanation is more creative than her costume.

Two Choices: 1) Audrina Patridge got in a blow-out fight after a Halloween party Saturday night ... or 2) she dissolved into tears because her contacts were hurting her and her Uber didn't show.

Audrina and BF Corey Bohan had just left Hyde when she hit the ground and started bawling. Audrina tells us there was no fight -- she was just pissed because it was clear they'd have to wait forever for the Uber and her contacts were uber-uncomfortable.

Drake was celebrating his birthday at Club Stadium in Washington D.C. Saturday night/early Sunday ... and we don't know why, but Drizzy was carrying what looked like thousands of bucks.

Some people inside the club claimed they saw someone punch a member of Drake's crew ... which could have triggered his temper.

Drake's posse was famously involved in a blow-out with Chris Brown's crew at W.I.P. nightclub in 2012, so it wouldn't be the first time.

Someone in Drake's entourage was heads up enough to retrieve most of the loot.

Cops in South Carolina were not "Ray Charles" to an unruly crowd ... which is why they hauled rapper Chiddy Bang off stage during HIS OWN concert!

Chiddy was performing in South Carolina for Clemson University's homecoming Friday night when the crowd reportedly got too out of hand ... so officers were forced to shut the whole thing down.

Someone who was in the crowd told us a woman on stage got hit in the face with a water bottle moments before, so they suspect that's what triggered cops to spring into action.

The rapper's hype man attempted to keep the crowd going ... but promoters quickly killed the lights.

"Blood, Sweat & Heels" star Melyssa Ford showed off the nasty head wound she got when a cast member smashed her with a bottle, and based on this video -- this was no fake reality TV fight.

Ford was being wheeled into Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC on Thursday ... where she's still getting treatment for head and foot wounds after Geneva Thomas allegedly attacked her while taping this week.

As we reported ... Geneva was arrested and booked for felony assault.

Ex-NBA player Jeremy Tyler -- who was just released by the Lakers -- claims his baby mama went berserk and punched their 10-month-old child last week ... and now he's obtained a restraining order against her.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the 23-year-old -- who's expected to sign a deal to play in China -- filed court docs in L.A. asking for protection from Sukey Rowan ... a British national who Tyler's been with for years.

In the docs, Tyler says Rowan got violent during an altercation at his mother's house on October 18th -- when she showed up to the home before she was expected to be there and demanded to see their child.

"I brought [the child] outside and she swung at me and tried to hit me while I was holding our son," Tyler says ... "At one point she missed me and hit our son."

Tyler continues, "My sister tried to get between us, and she kicked my sister, who is nine months pregnant, in the stomach."

Tyler says he's not only concerned for his safety -- but worries that Rowan will take the child to the U.K. and that "I will never see him again."

Despite the allegations, Tyler says "I still love Sukey, but I cannot let my son and I live in danger because of her mental issues and violent temper."

A judge granted a temporary restraining order against Rowan -- which also bars her from leaving the country with their kid.

Rapper iLoveMakonnen went DOWN on Tuesday night -- instead of "goin' up" like he says in his hit song -- when he was attacked on stage by a fan.

iLoveMakonnen was performing his hit 'Tuesday' at SOB's in NYC ... when a large man in a grey hoodie walked up to the front of the stage (:08 in the video), and then grabbed the rapper and started throwing haymakers.

Watch the clip ... after getting in several hard shots, the attacker actually managed to slip away -- but sources inside the club tell TMZ the owners know exactly who the guy is ... and describe him as a "jealous fan." We're told he's been banned for life.

Cops never got involved -- no one called 'em -- and iLoveMakonnen wasn't seriously hurt.
