Hines Ward proved he's an athletic beast in Hawaii this weekend -- taking part in one of the most difficult triathlon courses ever ... for 13 hours!!

The whole race went down in Kona for the Ironman Triathlon where Ward finished 1,680th place yesterday.

To complete the course ... Hines had to swim, ride his bike and run for insane lengths -- 2.4 miles, 112 miles and 26.2 miles, respectively.

After the race the 37-year old athlete said he couldn't have done it without his trainer and the man upstairs adding, "God is good! Trust me, I kept talking to The Lord to help me get through the marathon."

Lindsay Lohan and her mom Dina grabbed their running shoes ... their track suits ... and a couple of bottles of Coca-cola as they hit the streets of New York today.

Yeah, Coke isn't the drink of choice when you're working out, but it beats vodka.

Lilo and DiLo rented bikes and cruised the West Side Highway in NYC ... then ditched the bikes and worked up a sweat during a quick run -- sodas in hand -- before hopping into a waiting SUV.

Feel the burn.

Kim Kardashian is determined to move all of her baby weight back into her ass cheeks ... and by the looks of things, she's doing one helluva job.

KK hit the streets in Paris this week ... en route to a workout session at a local gym.

So, we gotta ask ...

Model Vida Guerra -- famous for her backside -- had emergency surgery on her other money-maker yesterday -- replacing a breast implant that was creating a serious health crisis ... TMZ has learned.

Vida posted a pic of her exposed chest Tuesday morning ... showing her right breast covered by a large gauze pad. The problem was scar tissue forming around a gel implant.

Vida tells us back in 2011 she replaced saline implants with fancy new gel ones -- 450cc (or a full C cup). When she recently started having back pain and trouble breathing ... docs told her scar tissue had formed and had to be removed, along with the implant itself.

Vida got a new left implant during her 24 hour hospital stay -- but she's home now, doing something she never gets to do ... PIG OUT!!!

The fitness fanatic confesses she's been eating "everything in sight" ... especially pizza. Docs have cleared her to start working out again in a month.

Boob job lesson of the day: Vida says, "If I could do it over again, I wouldn't have. It's just more problems in the end."

More smack talk in the war between two former "Biggest Loser" co-stars -- this time Jillian Michaels is firing back at Cara Castronuova with some good ol' fashioned venom-laced sarcasm.

We broke the story ... Cara -- who was a trainer on the show -- ripped Jillian apart over Michaels' poor showing at the Malibu triathlon earlier this month, calling her an embarrassment.

This weekend, Michaels returned to Malibu -- where she offered up some brand new excuses for her abysmal showing (bad wet suit, bike problems, a horse?) and vowed to do better in the race next year.

Then, it was open season on Cara.

She's 71 years old ... but that didn't stop legendary designer Betsey Johnson from doing a FULL SPLIT on stage Wednesday at Fashion Week ... while wearing a hilarious pair of pink briefs.

Who knows, maybe she's got an extremely high threshold for pain ... she is holding what appears to be a prescription pill bottle after all.

Jillian Michaels didn't just SUCK ASS at the Malibu Triathlon -- she was an EMBARRASSMENT -- so says her former "Biggest Loser" co-star Cara Castronuova.

As we previously reported, Michaels was a disaster at last weekend's big race -- admitting to TMZ she got beat by a bunch of people a world class fitness professional shouldn't have lost to ... including an 80-year-old.

But when we ran into Cara last night in L.A., the former B.L. trainer didn't pull punches -- telling us. "I would probably kill myself if that happened to me."

Cara said Michaels likely bombed because she didn't take the event seriously -- "That's what happens a lot with people that think they're in really good shape. They take things lightly and then they embarrass themselves."

So much for Dennis Quaid's divorce ... a judge has officially DISMISSED the case after the couple reconciled earlier this year and now they appear to be one happy family again.

We broke the story ... Dennis and Kimberly Quaid had reconciled back in March but the divorce petition was far enough along in the court system that they couldn't just withdraw it -- they had to go to a judge. So they did ... and now we've learned their wish was granted.

The couple -- which married back in 2004 -- have 2 children together -- but the kids were nowhere to be seen on Friday, when D & K grabbed their road bikes and peddled through Brentwood.

Chaz Bono is the incredible disappearing man -- 'cause dude has nearly shed a whole Honey Boo Boo worth of lbs since dramatically changing his diet last year.

Chaz was barely recognizable as he was spotted in Los Angeles today ... walking around in shorts and a pretty tight tee.

Earlier this year, Chaz talked about how he dropped nearly 70 pounds -- not through surgery -- but through sticking to calorie-controlled meals ... and doing a ton of martial arts training.

Chaz's original goal was only to lose 50 lbs. -- so he's clearly blown that away.

Ex-beauty queen Shanna Moakler knows all about quick weight loss ... because she just had 2.5 liters of fat slurped right out of her ... and TMZ has the photo to prove it.

Shanna stopped by Elite Body Sculpture in Beverly Hills on Tuesday for some quick body work -- a procedure called Airbrush Laser Liposculpture.

According to the EBS website, the doctor doesn't use a scalpel, but rather a circular-shaped device that leaves a scar that's smaller than a pencil top eraser.

We're told Shanna wanted some extra help tightening up her stomach ... because she's had a tough time getting back into pre-baby shape after birthing 3 kids.

After the procedure, the doc gave Shanna a jar of the removed lard -- which measured out to 2.5 liters of the fat stuff.

For all you metrically-challenged people -- 2.5 liters is equal to 84.5 ounces ... which is almost 3 Big Gulps.

The best part -- after Shanna lost the fat, she raced straight from the doc's office to Boa Steakhouse on the Sunset Strip and woofed down a big ol' juicy steak ... 'cause why the hell not?

Pro fireballer Brian Wilson says it's "f**king exciting" to bring his talents -- and his tremendous facial hair -- to L.A., telling TMZ he's pumped to play for the Dodgers.

A mohawked Wilson was leaving Equinox gym in L.A. yesterday -- right after signing a 1-year, $1 million deal with the Dodgers -- and expressed his excitement as only Brian Wilson can.

"Well, I'm a pretty big America fan ... red, white and Dodger blue, I guess."

The 31-year-old ex-San Francisco Giants pitcher says he's grateful to get another shot in the bigs after undergoing Tommy John surgery last April ... but insists he harbors no ill will toward his former team.

"I got much love for San Francisco. We had a good time. But there's nothing I can do ... they don't want me back."

When asked about the storied rivalry between the squads, Wilson explained, "I don't worry about rivalry, bro ... I just play baseball, you know."

There's a GOOD REASON you've never seen a 260-pound "Ninja Warrior," 'cause they suck on trampolines ... so says ex-NFL star Shawne Merriman.

Shawne knows from experience -- the former San Diego Chargers linebacker recently appeared on the show ... and started off strong ... only to crash hard when it came time to negotiate the trampoline obstacle.

"260 don't work on trampolines," Merriman says ... "My weight made the trampoline touch the ground."

Gotta give the guy credit -- he actually put together a pretty solid run before bailing on the jump. But SM says if he's invited back next year, he GUARANTEES he'll finish the course.

As if re-gaining a bunch of weight wasn't bad enough, former "Biggest Loser" star Tara Costa is now being SUED for porking up again ... and it could cost her a lot of money, TMZ has learned.

FC Online Marketing -- which owns ILoveKickboxing.com -- has filed a lawsuit against Costa claiming it entered into a fitness promotional agreement with the reality star ... but she didn't hold up her end of the bargain.

The deal breaker ... FCOM says Costa -- who famously lost 155 POUNDS on "The Biggest Loser: Couples 2" back in 2009 -- had re-gained "far too much weight" in 2011 to represent the brand in photo shoots and public appearances.

FCOM says it paid Costa's foundation $45,000 in exchange for her image and likeness ... but since she got fat again, her image has lost all value to the company.

FCOM is now suing Costa for breaching the don't-get-fat agreement, demanding unspecified damages.

For what it's worth ... from Costa's recent Twitter pics, it appears she's back down to her fighting weight (or close to it) but FCOM insists the damage is already done. Attempts to reach Costa were not successful.

77-year-old pro golfer Gary Player didn't do a lick of extra training for his naked debut as the oldest man ever in ESPN's "Body Issue" -- dude says he's been in tip-top shape since birth ... aka the '30s ... yeah, he's that old.

Gary tells TMZ, “I did not do anything special for the shoot" ... other than busting his hump working outdoors on his farm in South Africa everyday for a few months prior to dropping trou for ESPN.

He added, "I was already relaxed, tanned and ready to go.”

Before Gary flashed the family jewels for the shoot 2 weeks ago in Miami ... he says ESPN treated him like a king and provided a serious spread of his fav foods -- including crudités, fresh fruit, hummus, salad, and herbal tea. No wonder GP's in great shape.

As for the whole naked thing, Gary says it didn't bother him one bit -- "I was relaxed and confident in my own skin to do this."

If you're wondering what it takes to look like The Rock (aside from ridiculous genetics) the new "Hercules" star just revealed the diet he maintains to play the son of Zeus -- and it's unbelievable.

Rock just posted the breakdown on Twitter -- and it includes 7 full meals with ridiculous quantities of food, including rice, 14 egg whites, all kinds of vegetables, and more than 3 POUNDS of meat.

It's been working too ... Rock's been posting pics of himself during filming (above) and he's more jacked than ever.

Unfortunately, you can't just eat like The Rock to look like him ... you kinda have to go to the gym too.
