Fear not, Packers fans ... the Rodgers Family soap opera playing out in the media will have NO EFFECT on your quarterback ... so says Aaron's former longtime teammate and current pal James Jones.

The wide receiver tells TMZ Sports he just spoke with Aaron and the guy seems as laser-focused as ever. Plus, James says Rodgers has a ton of experience blocking out off-the-field drama.

Of course, the new storyline comes courtesy of Aaron's father who gave an interview to the NY Times ... discussing the family's fractured relationship with the QB.

Jones says Aaron is "in the zone" right now -- the last time he saw Aaron this focused, they won the Super Bowl.

"He's in that Michael Jordan mode."

There's only one way the Patriots can beat the Steelers this weekend ... CHEAT ... that's according to Cedric the Entertainer who says the Steelers got it in the bag, unless Brady dips into his bag of tricks.

Cedric is a huge Steelers fan so when we got him out in L.A. we had to gauge how confident he is going into this weekend's AFC Championship game.

Answer? VERY CONFIDENT ... in a win, while he was seemingly less confident that the Steelers wouldn't be up to their old shenanigans (deflating balls, taping practices, you know the gags).

He also talked to us about Antonio Brown's little locker room mishap, telling our camera guy he has full confidence Coach Mike Tomlin will get Brown in line.

Two cities are gonna be real upset ... 'cause TV super boss Les Moonves -- the guy who runs CBS -- is telling TMZ Sports which two teams are the best Super Bowl matchup for TV ratings.

We got Moonves in L.A. with wife Julie Chen when we asked him which two teams mean the biggest bucks for the network broadcasting the game this year (it's FOX).

It's tough ... GB has a red-hot Aaron Rodgers, ATL has the best offense in the league, New England has this pretty boy QB people like ... and the Steelers give you unprecedented locker room access.

D.L. Hughley isn't trying to hide his anger at MLK Jr.'s son for betraying Civil Rights leader Rep. John Lewis during his beef with Donald Trump ... in D.L.'s eyes, anyway.

D.L. definitely got some stuff off his chest when we asked about Martin Luther King III's meeting with the Prez-elect. He flat-out rips him for not calling out Trump for his Twitter rant against Rep. Lewis ... who walked shoulder to shoulder with MLK Jr. in the '60s.

As for why MLK III really had the meeting -- D.L. offers a mercenary theory.

Bob Arum is calling major BS on Floyd Mayweather, Dana White, and Conor McGregor ... saying all this talk about boxing vs MMA superfight is "absolute nonsense."

Bill Belichick says he isn't on "SnapFace" or "InstaChat" ... and therefore doesn't give a crap about the cyber-insults the Steelers spewed on social media.

The Patriots head coach appeared on WEEI in Boston and was asked to respond to Mike Tomlin calling his team "a-holes" during a locker room speech that was live streamed by Antonio Brown.

Amanda and Nina Ansaroff landed at LAX following Nina's big victory at "UFC Fight Night" in Phoenix on Sunday ... and they were both still riding high off the win.

Nunes also told us she believes she can continue to destroy people like she did Ronda Rousey ... and prove to be even more dominant than Conor McGregor.

As for Ronda ... Nunes says she doesn't feel bad at all for the beatdown she put on the UFC superstar -- but says if Rousey wanted to talk things out, she's down to have a conversation.

Justin Bieber can spot an opportunist from a mile away ... at least now he can, and the opportunist is Selena Gomez.

Our Bieber sources tell us ... the singer says he's been there, and believes Selena's using The Weeknd for promotion. Bieber's intel -- and ours -- is that Selena and The Weeknd are working on music together.

We're told Justin feels this is all cookie-cutter stuff ... she did it with him, Nick Jonas, Zedd and now with good ol' Abel. When Selena wants to push new music, it seems she dates stars with whom she wants to collab.

Paps got Selena Sunday night leaving Terroni in L.A., and she really wasn't having it with their questions about backstabbing Bella Hadid by swooping in on The Weeknd.

She also looked a lot like her own ex trying to navigate to the car ... thank God for those handlers.

Bella Hadid believes Selena Gomez did her dirty by dating The Weeknd behind her back.

Sources close to Bella tell TMZ she feels betrayed because her ex and Selena hooked up almost immediately after Bella and Weeknd ended their relationship.

Here's where it gets interesting. We're told it was actually Bella who pulled the plug 2 months ago, because the bi-coastal relationship was just too difficult. Nevertheless, the breakup hurt.

Also interesting ... a Selena source says the thing between Selena and Bella's ex is 2 months old. They even spent the holidays together.

Bella is especially incensed because she and sister Gigi helped Selena when she was on the skids dealing with numerous emotional and other issues.

And there's more. Despite the 2-month relationship, Selena never uttered a peep about it to Gigi, who's her best friend. Gigi and Bella found out about it when they saw the pics on TMZ. And that's when Bella unfollowed Selena on Instagram.

Greg Jennings says you can bet the house the Packers will beat the Cowboys this weekend ... and the reason is Aaron Rodgers.

We got Jennings (full disclosure, he played most of his career with Green Bay) out in D.C., and asked who he thinks is gonna win the big Dallas/Green Bay showdown on Sunday.

Bad news for Cowboys fans ... HE SAID YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE ... and went on to give totally logical reasons why the dream season is over in Big D.

Randy Moss' baby mama is calling BS on the ex-NFL receiver after he claimed she blew $4 MILLION on drugs ... telling TMZ Sports, "I've been clean for years."

Moss called out his ex on Twitter last month ... claiming the mother of his 5 children refused to get treatment for a drug addiction in order to see her kids.

We spoke to Libby Offutt ... who says Moss' allegations are completely untrue and an attempt to keep her from seeing her children.

"I went to rehab TEN years ago and have been clean ever since," Offutt says. "He’s just saying that to keep the kids. I’d be dead if I spent $4 million on drugs. Where’s his proof?”

Offutt -- who provided us with documentation of recently passed drug tests -- says she believes Moss unleashed the Twitter rant because he was upset she tried to connect with the kids around Xmas.

“I drove 4 hours on the 26th to take my kids their Christmas presents and his wife wouldn’t let me see the kids or even leave their presents for them."

"He was mad and acted very immature, saying false things that the children are gonna read eventually, subjecting them to more unnecessary emotional stress. And why bash the woman that brought 5 of your children into this world?!"

Gilbert Arenas is gunning for his ex-wife in court for repeating an STD claim about him that already cost her $110k ... TMZ has learned.

The ex-NBA star filed a defamation lawsuit against Laura Govan, as well as her attorney, Maya Shulman, over a December blog post about the longstanding war between the exes. In the post, Shulman said Laura was "stating a fact" when she accused Gilbert of giving her an STD.

As we reported, Gilbert won a hefty defamation judgement against Laura over that very allegation. In the new suit, he says Laura and her attorney clearly didn't learn their lesson -- and the December comment constitutes another instance of smearing his good name.

He says Shulman dug her own grave when she issued a retraction -- in the comments section of the blog -- admitting she doesn't "know any 'fact' that supports" Laura's STD claims. Gilbert says it proves she knowingly made a false statement.

He adds the retraction didn't come until 2 weeks later, and was NOT prominent on the site. He's suing both women for damages.

UFC champ Tyron Woodley says he REALLY does believe the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather fight will happen ... but if it doesn't, he's willing to step in for a fraction of the price!

Woodley joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Wednesday night on FS1) -- and was pretty strong about why he believes the two sides will hammer out a deal.

Still, Tyron has a message for Floyd -- I'LL DO IT FOR $5 MIL AND SOME WATCHES!

The Weeknd is bouncing back from Bella Hadid just fine by making out with Selena Gomez.

Selena was seen hanging all over The Weeknd Tuesday night outside Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica -- getting handsy and mouthy with the singer. We don't know how long this has been going on, but they're definitely a thing ... based on these pics.

There's potential drama here -- Selena's pals with Gigi Hadid ... so her sister, Bella, might have a thing or 2 to say about the hookup.
