Just hours after witnessing a murder/suicide via FaceTime, Floyd Mayweather decided to get out of his house to sit courtside at the L.A. Clippers basketball game Monday night.

Floyd actually appeared to be in a pretty decent mood considering the circumstances ... shaking hands and talking with Clippers stars Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford before they took on the Phoenix Suns at Staples Center.

As TMZ first reported, Floyd was on the phone Monday morning with rapper Earl Hayes when he killed his wife, VH1 star Stephanie Moseley, and then himself.

Floyd Mayweather is reeling tonight ... because he was on FaceTime with one of his best friends when the guy pulled out a gun, shot his wife and then killed himself ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... rapper Earl Hayes called Floyd on FaceTime Monday morning in a rage, over claims his wife -- VH1 star Stephanie Moseley -- had been unfaithful.

According to our Floyd sources, Earl said he was going to kill his wife. The champ was pleading with him to get a grip ... to no avail. Floyd will not say how much he saw, but he acknowledges he was a witness and heard everything.

2:30 PM PT -- We've learned Moseley and Hayes were married.

2:00 PM PT -- Law enforcement tells TMZ, Hayes shot Moseley and then turned the gun on himself.

"Hit the Floor" star Stephanie Moseley is dead .... after her rapper husband -- a member of Floyd Mayweather's Money Team -- shot her and then killed himself ... TMZ has learned.

We're told residents at a swanky L.A. apartment complex near The Grove heard shots ring out early Monday morning. The SWAT team raced to the scene and knocked down the door of an apartment ... and found 2 people shot to death.

The rapper Earl Hayes -- who was once signed to Mayweather's record label -- often partied with Floyd. Moseley has been a backup dancer with numerous singers, including Chris Brown and Britney Spears.

Residents heard a woman screaming in the apartment before shots rang out.

Sources connected with Moseley and Hayes tell TMZ ... he had accused her of infidelity with a famous singer.

Chris Brown just Instagrammed, "RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family."

10:00 AM PT -- Clooney's rep tells TMZ, Amal is NOT pregnant.

George Clooney broke his vow by taking one ... and MAYBE the reason is becoming apparent.

Amal Clooney and her husband were leaving Soho House in West Hollywood when a photog took the pics this weekend.

George -- who said he would never marry again -- is unwaveringly silent about stuff like this -- but the photos are definitely interesting.

Christina Milian has been tight-lipped about her possible relationship with Lil Wayne, but she did let a few things slip when we asked her about the holidays.

Bill Cosby may be out of favor with Netflix, but he's full steam ahead everywhere else.

We've learned execs at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas had a meeting Wednesday morning to review the most recent round of rape allegations against Cosby, and decided to go on with Thursday's show, which is almost sold out.

Cosby is also scheduled to perform in Melbourne, FL on Friday to a sold out audience and that show will go on as well. A rep for the King Center for the Performing Arts tells TMZ no one has asked for a refund.

And there's more. Cosby is scheduled to perform in Vegas a week from Friday, and that show we're told will not be cancelled. There are still seats available.

We've contacted various venues where Cosby is set to perform in January and all say the shows will not be cancelled. Virtually every venue told us it would be inappropriate to cancel the show based on allegations where no formal charges have been filed.

The father of the late "Real Housewives" star Russell Armstrong will finally get photographic evidence to answer the question he's been asking for 3 years ... "Was my son murdered?"

The L.A. County Coroner has agreed to turn over pics, negatives, videos and X-rays to Louie Armstrong and his lawyers ... provided they keep the evidence under wraps.

The elder Armstrong has never believed his son took his own life. Russell was in financial straits -- owing a ton of money to business associates -- so when Armstrong was found hanging from an electrical cord Aug. 15, 2011, his dad immediately suspected foul play.

Bill Cosby says he will NOT talk about the old rape allegations that are making the rounds, but his mouthpiece is taking a clear stand ... the allegations were BS then, and they're BS now.

Cosby's lawyer says, "Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true."

As we previously reported ... Comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby out last month during a stand up set -- wondering if people remembered Bill had been accused of rape by 13 women over the years.

The lawyer adds, "Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work."

During an NPR segment that aired this weekend an interviewer attempted to broach the subject with Cosby ... but he turned silent and shut the interview down.

The veteran comedian was also reportedly axed from an upcoming appearance on Letterman.

Jay Z showed up to Solange's wedding Sunday in New Orleans breaking a cardinal rule ... but in this case there's an exception.

Richard Simmons' close friends are now mad, in addition to being extremely concerned for his welfare ... because they believe his spokesperson is shoveling crap with the story that Richard's OK.

The spokesman told the NY Daily News ... Richard is "sad" but not clinically depressed, a shut-in or a recluse.

Now extremely close friends of Richard are pissed ... saying Richard's people are not leveling. For a variety of reasons, they believe something dire has happened.

-- The last contact any of his closest friends had with him is March 10.
-- The mother of an extremely close, long-time friend died a few months back, and Richard never contacted her, which is completely out of character.
-- Richard was close with Joan Rivers and, as one friend put it, "There is no way he wouldn't have gone to her funeral if he was OK."
-- He has abandoned his exercise studio, where he was a fixture. He hasn't been there in months, and everyone there says they have no idea why.

As we reported ... one of Richard's key people told us a looming knee replacement sent him into a massive depression ... exacerbated by the death of his beloved dog. But the close friends say they don't believe knee surgery or the dog would cause Richard to cut himself off from the outside world.

As one friend said ... "If Richard is really OK and is aware people are extremely concerned about him, he'd pick up the phone and tell them to relax. But he hasn't, and we're worried sick."

Porsha Williams SAYS she's not fazed by her recent demotion on "Real Housewives of Atlanta"... but she sounds like she's lying.

Porsha was at LAX Thursday when she told our photog her dance card is filled with work now that she's no long a series regular, but watch the video ... it just doesn't ring true.
