Johnny continued the post saying, "RIP Ryan , I love you buddy."

Knoxville and Dunn famously goofed off in the "Jackass" films together -- and from the sound of the tweet -- it appears they were pretty close.

TMZ also spoke with Jeff Tremaine -- who starred and directed the "Jackass" movies -- who told us, "I feel like I lost a brother. Ryan Dunn was family and we are all deeply devastated."

Wee Man has also tweeted -- "RYAN DUNN-- a super awesome memory was at the J RODY walston & the business show!!! I MISS YOU BUD!! You were always a happy kick-ass dude!!"

Friends of late actress Lana Clarkson were FURIOUS this week when Mamet told the Financial Times, "I don't think [Spector] is guilty. I definitely think there is reasonable doubt ... they should never have sent him away ... If he'd just been a regular citizen, they never would have indicted him."

Now, Clarkson's friends have banded together -- and have fired off a letter to the director, claiming his comments were "mind-boggling and wrong in so many ways."

According to the letter, obtained by TMZ, the group's main concern is that "the loathsome, lying, gun-abusing convicted murderer of our friend Lana Clarkson will be portrayed with some kind of sympathy."

Lana's friends want to remind Mamet -- whose upcoming film stars Al Pacino and Bette Midler -- that Spector was CONVICTED by a jury of his peers ... and plead, "Please refrain from rewriting history for 'creative license.'"

Ziskin -- who was known as one of the most influential women in Hollywood history -- was working on the fourth installment of the "Spider Man" franchise at the time of her death.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 -- Ziskin teamed up with other women in the entertainment industry to form the nonprofit "Stand Up to Cancer" -- which has raised $200 MILLION to fight the disease.

30-year-old actor Da'Vone McDonald is currently a part-time bouncer -- working Friday and Saturday nights at TRU Nightclub (below) -- and based on the pic, the gig comes with some sweet benefits.

No worries ... Da'Vone -- who has also appeared in two other Judd Apatow films -- hasn't given up on his acting career to break up bar fights ... he already has roles in three upcoming features.

It's called Dick's Country Store & Music Oasis in Churubusco, NY -- and we're told, the Hollywood duo stopped in to scope the place out for an upcoming film project.

The studio filed new docs on Monday in their legal battle with S. Victor Whitmill -- who inscribed the tribal face tat on Tyson back in 2003 -- claiming, "Warner Bros. does not intend to make any use of the allegedly infringing tattoo after the film ends its run in the theaters because Warner Bros. will digitally alter the film to substitute a different tattoo on Ed Helms’s face."

As we previously reported, Whitmill sued the studio back in April claiming copyright infringement -- but a judge refused to block the movie's release.

Lindelof went to his Twitter page the other day and went off on Jones -- who plays Emma Frost in "X-Men: First Class" ... writing, "Emma Frost's THREE mutant powers: Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting."

Volo Auto Museum in Illinois tells TMZ they had been trying to get their hands on one of the famous cars from "Grease" for years (they used a few in the movie) and just this week completed a deal to get one.

The museum was able to find one of the cars used in the movie at a restoration shop in California. The owner was located in New York and passed away while it was still being worked on. The shop owner took hold of the title through the courts and Volo agreed to buy it off them -- and pay for them to finish restoring it. The total cost figures to be in the low six figures.

Conaway's history with the fabled car is a dark one. He said during an episode of "Celebrity Rehab" that he was dropped during the filming of the Greased Lightning scene ... and it was that back injury that started his addiction to painkillers.

A rep for Lifetime tells TMZ, the wheels are in motion for a movie called "Bling Ring" -- which chronicles a group of teens in 2009 who pilfer $3 million in cash and jewelry ... from celebs like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Orlando Bloom. The flick is being produced by Silver Screen Pictures.

But don't expect to hear the names Nick Prugo, Rachel Lee, and Alexis Neiers in the flick -- we're told the burglars' real names had to be changed for "legal reasons."

And get this -- "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey will take a lead role as the mother of the Prugo character.

The movie should be on TV in late summer.

TMZ has learned ... L.A. County Fire trucks and paramedics raced to the scene Thursday afternoon and several responders had to hike down the steep slope to retrieve the 23-year-old actor.

We're told Finley was trying to make a turn on Mulholland Drive when he lost control of the bike and went crashing down the side of the cliff.

Finley was transported to UCLA Medical Center ... where he was treated for multiple compound fractures as well as injuries to his face and head. We're told Finley has already undergone several surgeries to repair damage to his leg ... and will require more surgery in the near future.

Through his rep, Eric Ortner, Finley released a statement saying, "I crashed hard, but the love and support from my friends, fans, and family have helped ease the pain."
