Bindi Irwin is caught in a tangled legal web ... her "Dancing with the Stars" contract just got rejected because a judge needs proof her dad is dead.

Lawyers for the show submitted a minor's contract to an L.A. Superior Court judge ... it's required because Bindi is 17. Her mom Terri signed a form stating she gives up all rights to any money her daughter will make on the show.

Here's the rub. For some reason the judge wants the same release from Bindi's dad, the late Steve Irwin. The judge said without proof of Steve giving up his rights to Bindi's money, "the court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract."

It's unclear if the judge is unaware Steve died in 2006, or if she's just a stickler for a death certificate.

We're told lawyers for the show will do what it takes to get the judge to sign off. When she does, here's Bindi's deal:

-- a guarantee of $125k

-- by making it to weeks 3 and 4 she gets an additional $10k per week

-- week 5 gets her another $15,000

-- weeks 6 and 7 she gets $20k a week

-- weeks 8 and 9 she gets $30k a week

-- and if she makes it to 10 and 11 she gets $50,000 a week

Bindi has made it through week 8, so her total so far is $230k, and still going strong.

That's something to fart about.

Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner turns 60 on Thursday ... but she certainly doesn't look it!

Chris Brown's posse is accused of beating a woman so badly at a Vegas party she was hospitalized for whiplash.

Jakaria, a 28-year-old insurance agent, tells us she was hanging with Brown and his crew early Sunday at Palms Casino Resort. She says everyone had to leave their phones with his security, and when she went to pick up her 2 phones, his team thought she was trying to steal someone else's.

That's when Jakaria says Brown's security guard got violent, grabbing her by the hair, shaking her around and throwing her to the ground. She says the guard tried to stomp on her but someone mercifully stepped in.

Jakaria says she got home but realized she was in bad shape so she called an ambulance. Doctors told her she had whiplash.

Anderson Cooper and his partner Ben Maisani made a somewhat rare public appearance in NYC Monday and showed they're still tight after 6 years.

Anderson and Ben -- a nightclub mogul -- appeared at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's 14th Annual An Enduring Vision Benefit.

Soccer superstar Karim Benzema -- who was connected to Rihanna over the summer -- was arrested in France Wednesday morning as part of investigation into a sex tape blackmail case involving another player.

Voters in a Philadelphia suburb have spoken and made Bill Cosby a bigger target for prosecution.

Kevin Steele was just elected District Attorney of Montgomery County, where an investigation has been reopened in connection with claims made by Andrea Constand that Cosby drugged and assaulted her.

Steele was running against Bruce Castor, who served as the D.A. when the case was initially rejected back in 2005. Castor had said Constand's credibility was questionable, and during the campaign Steele blasted Castor for his decision, squarely addressing it in TV campaign ads.

During his victory speech, Steele said, "You made a choice to take it forward, to fight for victims, to fight for people who have been the subject of crimes."

Miami Beach police are at Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion right now, seizing property to satisfy a judgment against the rapper involving private jets.

We're told when deputies arrived Wayne's security refused to let them in. The cops explained they were there to seize certain assets inside the house because Wayne had not paid a $2 million judgment to Signature Group, a jet leasing company. Wayne also owes the company $200k in lawyer's fees. The judgment came down in September.

We obtained the court order, which allows Miami-Dade County Sheriff's deputies to break the locks of the house and doors if necessary to gain entry and confiscate seizable assets.

Wayne is in L.A. He went to Ace of Diamonds strip club Monday night.

But she ain't fooling us. TMZ has obtained a set of photos that show Future's tattoo artist, Steve Wiebe, inking the couple together several weeks ago ... just as we first reported.

We're told Chyna is pretending the tattoo never existed because she's hurt after Future publicly humiliated her by tweeting his single status. Chyna was under the impression they'd been dating exclusively for over a month.

Mack Maine and Birdman just got sued for misidentifying a teenage boy for the kid who drunkenly killed 4 people and dodged jail time.

Mark and Becky English claim they were shocked to learn a picture of their 17-year-old son was slapped on the cover of Mack Maine's album, misidentifying him as Ethan Couch.

You may recall, Couch got a slap on the wrist -- treatment facility and no jail time -- for driving drunk and killing 4 people. He got off after making the "affluenza" defense -- claiming he was the product of wealthy, privileged parents who never taught him right from wrong.

Mack made a song about Couch and plastered the young English on the cover. Birdman is also being sued because the album was released on his label.

The man who claimed he had a sexual relationship with ex-NFL star Kordell Stewart is admitting he made the whole thing up -- but says he isn't worried about Kordell's lawsuit.

As we previously reported, Stewart filed a lawsuit against viral video star Andrew Caldwell -- saying Caldwell lied and damaged his reputation when he went on a radio show and said they hooked up.

TMZ Sports spoke with Caldwell who says ... "It's true, I never dated Kordell. But I'm not worried about the lawsuit. If Kordell wants money, he has money. I don't owe him a dime."

What's weird is despite the "I'm not worried" demeanor -- Caldwell seems to admit he hurt Stewart's reputation.

"[What I said] did damage Kordell. He has a son. For his son to think, 'Is my dad gay?' That is damaging."

And it gets even weirder ... Caldwell says Kordell has since trashed HIM while denying the gay rumors -- and he's considering filing a lawsuit of his own.

Seriously.

"I may go after Kordell. Yes, I hurt his name, but he also hurt mine."

TMZ Sports has obtained the dramatic 911 call made after Glen Rice Jr. was shot Sunday -- in which the caller says he personally witnessed Rice try to ditch a handgun while "leaking" blood.

The caller is VERY descriptive -- saying he definitely heard gunfire and then saw the ex-NBA player frantically try to flag down a friend while screaming, "They just shot me."

As we previously reported, Rice was shot outside T.I.'s restaurant in Atlanta -- and according to the caller, he was "soaked" in blood which was spewing from his upper left thigh.

At one point, the caller becomes afraid for his own safety -- and finally decides to leave the scene.

A short time later, cops pulled over the Porsche that picked up Rice -- and he was arrested for weed possession and reckless conduct.

Janice Dickinson says Bill Cosby and his team were liars when they claimed she was just trying to make a buck by going after the comedian ... she says she hasn't taken a cent from TV shows.

Dickinson filed legal docs in her lawsuit against Cosby, swearing under oath she's not in this for the money. She points to a 2014 interview on "Entertainment Tonight" where she said Cosby drugged and raped her in 1982 in Lake Tahoe. She says she got no money for the sit-down.

Dickinson says she did the interview "to stand in solidarity with the dozens of other women who had the same experience I did, being sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby."

NeNe Leakes is eating her words ... returning to 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' this season, even though she declared there was no chance she'd go back.

Leakes surprised the cast when she showed up to their retreat in Jamaica. We're told none of the ladies knew NeNe was coming back and her surprising entry even left some of the ladies speechless. No small feat.

Our sources say producers phoned NeNe earlier this month, pleading with her to come back because the storylines were lacking excitement so far this season. In a nutshell: We suck, please help.

NeNe agreed to do it because the price was right this time, and it didn't affect the shooting schedule on her new game show.
