Rep. Steve King Political Anger is on Obama, Not Trump ... Wait, Let Me Explain!!!

Published | Updated

Congressman Steve King says ya got it all wrong if you think President Trump's the one fueling all the political vitriol in America -- because he says then-Sen. Barack Obama started it 10 years ago!!

We asked the distinguished gentleman from Iowa about Sarah Huckabee Sanders getting booted, gently, from Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, VA. King was at Reagan National Airport Monday when he said the writing's on the wall ... and pretty soon EVERYthing in America will be split down political lines.

Of course, the widely held theory is Trump started all this nastiness during the campaign and it's just gotten worse -- almost tweet-by-tweet -- throughout his administration.

But King laid out a different theory -- one that lays blame at the feet of 3 Democrats ... Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. And he says ground zero for today's political divisiveness is South Carolina.

As for Trump's role? King, a Republican, btw ... doesn't FULLY give him a pass, but almost.

George Lopez Hawkin' 'Keep the Kids' Jackets ... Great Idea, Melania!!!

Published | Updated

George Lopez is taking Melania Trump's disgustingly poor fashion choice and turning it into cold hard cash, baby -- and he's planning to use it to show he really DOES care.

George and D.L. Hughley stepped out this weekend in a couple of jackets jabbing the First Lady's "I Really Don't Care, Do You?" jacket she wore during her trip last week to visit children in border camps. George's said, "Keep the Kids, Deport the Racist" ... and D.L. provided an exclamation with his "Fo Real tho!"

The response online was so strong ... George is now working with Kristin Fedyk and Alberto Hernandez, co-owners of the Inland store in Venice, CA to hawk his gear. It'll be available in-store and via Lopez's online store for $99 a pop. Tees will go for $19.99.

Melania caught a ton of flack for her jacket, but George is trying to create a silver lining.

Only a couple hundred items will be sold, and proceeds will fund efforts at the border -- particularly in El Paso -- to reunite parents and their kids.

Ice Cube to Trump Get BIG3 Heroes to White House!! ... After Plane Incident

Published | Updated

Ice Cube says Michael Rapaport deserves a trip to the White House for his heroics on a flight after a BIG3 game over the weekend ... and he's sending a message directly to Donald Trump.

As we previously reported, Rapaport (the BIG3 sideline reporter) saw a man trying to open the emergency exit door Saturday -- IN-FLIGHT -- and sprung into action to make sure the door stayed shut!

Rapaport credited BIG3 players Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Baron Davis with the assist.

So, when we saw BIG3 honcho Ice Cube at LAX (on his way to Friday's game in Chicago), we asked if he considered Rap to be a hero ... and wondered how he should be rewarded.

"Trump ... invite him to the White House," Cube said ... "Stop bullsh*tting!

As for the passenger -- airline officials tell us the guy was not a terrorist or anything, he was just very confused and made a mistake.

STATEMENT PIECE

Ex-NBA star Al Harrington wants everyone to know he's NOT a Donald Trump fan -- so, he wore a shirt spelling it out for everyone in Hollywood.

Taking a page from Melania Trump's playbook, Harrington used his back as a billboard -- his message read, "Anti Trump Social Club."

And if you're not into politics, Harrington also backs Master P -- who recently told us LiAngelo Ball should go back to college and get a degree.

And, if you're not into that either ... ya gotta check out Al's Rolls-Royce Wraith with the suicide doors!

Janelle Monae 'F*** You, Trump' We're Fighting for the Kids!

Published | Updated
Janelle Monáe
STAND UP FOR WHAT'S RIGHT

Janelle Monae didn't mince words while voicing her displeasure with President Trump's treatment of children at the border.

We got the singer/actress leaving Mr Chow Sunday night in Bev Hills, and she went off when we asked about Rep. Maxine Waters calling for people to confront Trump officials in public. Y'know ... a la Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the Red Hen in Virginia.

Not only did Janelle make it clear she stands with Maxine -- she directed her anger directly at the President, and vowed the protests are just beginning.

Mark Cuban Praises Red Hen for 86ing Sanders ... Trump Blasts Restaurant as 'Dirty'

Published | Updated

Mark Cuban has high praise for the restaurant owner who kicked Sarah Huckabee Sanders out of her restaurant over the weekend, while Donald Trump went on a rant claiming the eatery is filthy.

We got Cuban leaving Nate 'n Als Sunday in Bev Hills and, although he thinks it's good the restaurant owner took a moral stand, he worries it could become a slippery slope and other owners could deny service based on race or sexual orientation. The good news ... under federal law, an owner can't discriminate based on race. The laws governing sexual orientation are dicier.

On the other side ... Donald Trump -- the man who praised Kim Jong-un -- excoriated the restaurant by tweeting, "The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!"

Trump's baseless claim contains no information suggesting how The Red Hen is unsanitary. Fact is ... before this weekend's incident, Yelp gave the place a 4.5 rating out of 5.

Steve-O on Corey Lewandowski He's Digging His Own Grave!!! Defending 'Womp, Womp'

Published | Updated

Steve-O's got a real disdain for Corey Lewandowski but he's all for giving the guy a platform ... cause the guy keeps digging himself into a hole defending his "Womp, womp" comment.

We got Steve-O out in Hollywood on Friday and wanted to get his take on the political pundit's quip after Zac Petkanas shed light about a disabled immigrant child being separated from her mother.

The snarky comment hit too close to home for Steve-O, who is horrified at the idea children -- let alone disabled children -- are being ripped apart from their parents who are crossing the southern border.

Check it out ... Steve-O says Corey -- who still refuses to apologize for mocking the 10-year-old girl -- is only making matters worse trying to explain himself. And Steve-O's loving it.

President Trump Compares Pic of Murder Victim to Tom Selleck ... 'Except Better Looking'

Published | Updated

President Trump just tried to make light of an insanely tough situation in one of the most awkward exchanges we've seen ... and it revolves around Tom Selleck.

Trump was in Washington Friday, where he spoke to a group about the importance of keeping the country's borders secure. With him onstage were family members of people who have allegedly been killed by illegal immigrants.

Trump invited one woman to speak, who presented a photo of her son to the crowd. 45 grabbed the pic and awkwardly compared the son (who has a mustache) to Tom Selleck, "except better looking."

It also appears Trump signed the photo.

Cringeworthy.

Melania Trump Rocking Tone-Deaf Coat ... 'I Really Don't Care, Do U?'

Published | Updated

Melania Trump's getting destroyed on social media for wearing what most would consider a tone-deaf jacket ... considering she wore it on her way to visit child detention centers in Texas.

As she boarded the plane Thursday in D.C., Melania was rocking a green trenchcoat with bold lettering on the back that read, "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" It's a ZARA jacket that retails for about $40.

The First Lady made a surprise visit to McAllen, Texas ... where hundreds, if not thousands, of immigrant children are being held after they were separated from their parents crossing the border. Melania said she was there to help reunite children with their families.

No one's gonna argue with her decision to make the trip, but her wardrobe selection's a whole other story.

FLOTUS' spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, has said, "It's a jacket. There was no hidden message. After today's important visit to Texas, I hope the media isn't going to choose to focus on her wardrobe."

It's true ... there's nothing hidden about the message.

Melania Trump I'm Here to Help ... Surprise Visit to Child Detention Center

Published | Updated

Melania Trump unexpectedly showed up to a border facility to get a firsthand look at what's going on ... and offer a lending hand in reuniting children with their parents.

The First Lady arrived at a child detention center Thursday in Texas and started her visit by recognizing the medical staff, social workers and other employees for their "heroic work" in caring for kids separated from their families.

Melania said, "I want to thank you for your hard work, your compassion and your kindness you're giving them in these difficult times." She added, her goal is to learn more about the situation and help out in any way she can.

Her trip comes the day after President Trump signed an executive order to keep families at the border together. He told reporters Thursday, Melania went to the border because she's been bothered by what's going on there.

According to the Washington Post ... Border Patrol agents have been instructed to stop sending parents with children to federal courthouses for prosecution. The White House hasn't confirmed.

President Trump had said Wednesday his "zero tolerance" policy would continue.

WE STILL CAN DO BETTER

Mira Sorvino's echoing the outrage millions of Americans feel about immigrant families being separated at the border, but is hopeful President Trump could really end it ... if he only had a heart.

The Oscar-winning actress was at LAX Wednesday, and told us she's cautiously optimistic about the executive order Trump just signed, reversing the policy he enacted last month. She didn't mince words ... blasting Trump for deliberately making a choice to destroy families' lives.

She's also fed up with politicians and talking heads blaming previous Presidents. Mira puts the blame squarely on 45.

As we reported, the President signed the executive order to keep families together, but made it clear the "zero-tolerance" prosecution of illegal immigrants will continue.

Mira says she'll be watching to see what happens.

Corey Lewandowski 'Womp Womp' Quip Filled Me W/ Rage!!! ... Says Zac Petkanas

Published | Updated

Corey Lewandowski's "Womp womp" comment stooped to a new low but, the truth is, even though he was pissed off about it ... Zac Petkanas says he wasn't completely shocked.

We spoke to Zac -- the Democratic strategist who had a fiery live TV exchange with Trump's former campaign manager -- and he tells us Lewandowski's quip about the disabled immigrant child being separated from her mom personifies everything about this White House.

As we reported ... Corey made the snarky remark when Petkanas was trying to bring light to one of the many heartbreaking stories unfolding on the southern border. It appears the outcry from millions of Americans has finally pressured Trump to reverse course.

Check it out ... Petkanas ends the interview actually thanking Lewandowski, but it's not what you think.

Tim Kaine The Truth About Trump is He Wants to Block All Immigration

Published | Updated
Tim Kaine
IT'S AN OBSESSION

Tim Kaine says President Trump is full of it and, despite what he says ... his true mission is to stop all immigration in the U.S. -- not just people coming here illegally.

We got the Virginia Senator at Capitol Hill in D.C. Wednesday and, after completely dismissing what Ann Coulter claims about kids in detention camps ... he put the Prez on blast for rejecting a bipartisan deal in February that would have helped Dreamers and provided $25 BILLION in border security.

Kaine says the real deal with Trump is ... he's obsessed with making life miserable for all immigrants -- legal and illegal -- and punishing kids, and his demand for more border security is just a guise.

For a guy who Trump recently referred to as "a total stiff" ... Kaine just went in hard on him. But, for what it's worth, Trump says he's about to sign an executive order to keep families at the border together.

CALLED OUT

Kirstjen Nielsen -- the Secretary of Homeland Security -- busted out a walk of shame after a group of protesters disrupted her dinner at -- of all places -- a Mexican restaurant.

The incident went down Tuesday night at the popular MXDC Cocina Mexicana Restaurant near the White House ... where Nielsen sat in the back surrounded by her security detail and waited for dinner.

That's when a group from the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America showered her with boos and grilled her about Trump's inhumane policy to separate children from their parents crossing the border.

The group asked her, "Aren't you a mother too? How do you sleep at night?" and "Do you hear babies crying?" The group also chanted "shame" and "end family separation" ... and 10 minutes into the ordeal, it proved too much for Nielsen to handle because she bounced.

WHITE HOUSE HOPEFUL

James Shaw Jr.'s still stoked Chadwick Boseman shouted him out at the MTV Movie & TV Awards ... but his sights are set on a more prestigious prize as he continues his quest to make the world a better place.

The Waffle House hero tells TMZ ... he's hoping to get an invite to the White House to receive a Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the U.S. Shaw's certainly earned it for courageously disarming the Tennessee Waffle House gunman and saving several lives.

It's not all about him, though -- James says he'd like the award so people will get off President Trump's case about it ... and everyone can move forward.

Shaw also touches on his foundation to improve mental health awareness, the tragic death of XXXTentacion ... and his plan to take over the rapper's mission to reach 5 million kids and positively impact their lives.

As we reported, the star of "Black Panther" won the Movie award for Best Hero Monday, but turned the spotlight on the real-life hero ... and gave Shaw his golden popcorn award.

Trump's Ex-Campaign Manager 'Womp, Womp' to Detention Camp Kids ... Ignites Intense TV Fight

Published | Updated

Corey Lewandowski had a brash -- and incredibly callous -- response to a story about a 10-year-old girl with Down syndrome being taken from her mother at the border ... and it set off a fiery live TV exchange.

Trump's former campaign manager was a guest on Fox News Tuesday afternoon along with Zac Petkanas, a former senior DNC adviser. The 2 got into a heated argument after Lewandowski dropped a "Womp, womp" about the disabled immigrant child being separated from her mom and sent to a detention facility.

Petkanas was beyond incensed, screaming, "How dare you, sir?!" repeatedly ... while Lewandowski tried to shout him down.

The country's immigration policy has been the hot-button topic of the month, and clearly ... this isn't going to cool it off.
