Mayor Pete Buttigieg We Shouldn't Fat Shame Anyone ... Even Trump!!!

Mayor Pete Buttigieg says no one deserves to be fat shamed ... even our fast food-loving Prez.
We got the Democratic Presidential candidate at the Young Leaders Conference in Atlanta and asked him to weigh in on Trump's blatant fat shaming at his New Hampshire rally -- and you gotta see his response. It's a case study in political strategizing.
Pete couldn't help himself, and launched into a "glass houses" remark ... but quickly stopped himself, and rerouted to the high road. It's the decision any candidate taking on Trump has to make: get down in the mud with him, or turn the other cheek.
As you know ... President Trump brazenly fat shamed an American citizen Thursday night, taking a cheap shot at the man's weight, even though the dude turned out to be a Trump supporter ... who's also in better shape than POTUS.
Mayor Pete thinks the latest controversy involving Trump is pretty rich but adds ... there's no need to spell out the irony.
Pete's right ... no need to talk about 45 scarfing down fast food ... when there are pictures.
We also asked the candidate about Trump's Greenland expansion dream, and he poured ice cold water all over the idea.

Prez Trump Fat Shames His Supporter 'Go Home, Start Exercising!!!'
Live from the Glass House, it's President Trump blatantly fat shaming an American citizen ... one who backs him, btw.
Yeah, that happened Thursday night during 45's rally in New Hampshire ... where there were a number of protesters tossed from the event. Trump decided to take a cheap shot at the size of one of them, riffing from the podium ... "That guy's got a serious weight problem. Go home, start exercising!"
Of course, the crowd roared with approval at the massively ironic jab from the Prez -- but the joke was ultimately on our fast food-loving Commander-in-Chief. Turns out the guy he was ripping was a Trump supporter!
His name's Frank Dawson and, according to Fox News, he's a Navy vet who's also been in law enforcement for 31 years.
Frank didn't seem the slightest bit offended, and says he was actually ripping up signs held by protesters when Trump mistook him for one of them.
For what it's worth, Frank seems to be in wayyy better shape than Trump -- but, clearly, logic or rationale played ZERO part in the President's remarks.

Trump's Director of Immigration Change Lady Liberty Slogan Give Us Non-Public Charge Folks Only
President Trump's administration thinks it'd be a good idea to tweak this country's motto on incoming immigrants to something more specific ... self-sufficiency or GTFO.
That's not a stretch from what a prominent member of DT's cabinet said on NPR Tuesday when asked about his boss' new policy change for immigrants that use public benefits ... and how that reflects the Statue of Liberty plaque of taking in anyone and everyone.
According to Ken Cuccinelli -- the acting Director of Citizenship and Immigration Services -- that slogan should be updated to read, "Give me your tired and your poor who can stand on their own two feet, and who will not become a public charge." Seriously, he said that.
ICYMI, Trump and co. wanna make it harder for folks who legally migrated to the U.S. -- but aren't citizens yet -- to obtain permanent status if they receive food stamps, Section 8 housing or Medicaid ... effectively squeezing 'em out. It's called the "public charge" rule.
If you need a refresher on what Emma Lazarus' sonnet says -- here's the most important part ... "'Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!' cries she With silent lips. 'Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!'" It was mounted in the lower level of Lady Liberty's pedestal in 1903.
Trump's "public charge" rule is set to go into effect in October.

Deepak Chopra Marianne Williamson Won't Be President ... Because This Country is Messed Up

Deepak Chopra says Marianne Williamson has all the qualities you should look for in a leader ... and that's why her presidential bid doesn't stand a chance.
The alternative medicine guru threw his support behind the Democratic candidate when we got him at LAX, praising her integrity and authenticity ... but Deepak says the political system is corrupt, and that's why Marianne doesn't stand a chance.
Deepak believes Marianne's views don't jive with today's political climate ... and even she recently told us traditional politicians and political pundits are trying to diminish her.
Deepak's written books with Marianne and says they're close friends and he knows she has the goods ... but he's convinced people are so cynical -- politicians so power hungry and divisive -- that she's just out of step. To his point, Williamson did not qualify for the next round of debates.
Bottom line ... Deepak believes Marianne is too pure to be Prez.

Presidential Candidates You Gotta be Pro Pork Chop on a Stick ... To Win Iowa!!!
If you wanna be President -- you gotta porky pig out at the Iowa State Fair.
It's one of the greatest traditions, if not the unhealthiest, in Presidential politics. Every candidate makes the pilgrimage to the Iowa State Fair, and the essential photo op is a mouthful of pork, and not just any pork ... it's gotta be on a stick.
Yep, pork on a stick is a thing at the Fair, and God help the candidate that does not partake.
Most of the Dems who are running are making the trek to Iowa, and some are already there. Joe Biden pursued the fair Thursday, and Kamala Harris is traveling the State on her campaign tour bus and will definitely make an appearance.
BTW ... there are other swine-unfriendly options ... such as bacon-wrapped pig wings. Yes, apparently they can fly in Iowa!!!
So, they must have told Trump ... You'll be President when pigs fly.

Stormy Daniels I Found My Trump Impressionist!!! Plans to Take Him on Tour

Stormy Daniels knows better than most when a man hits the right spot, and comedian Stephen Kramer Glickman nailing President Trump onstage definitely tickled her fancy.
So, here's the deal ... Stormy hit up The Ice House comedy club in Pasadena last week to scout comedians who can headline shows she's been asked to host and produce beginning next fall. Specifically, she wanted a Trump impressionist because, well ... obviously.
Enter Glickman, who had no idea Stormy would be in the audience until moments before he grabbed the mic. And, suffice to say -- he killed it 'cause Stormy was laughing her ass off at his POTUS impression.
Glickman set up the joke asking the crowd to imagine how Trump would have announced it if Osama bin Laden had been killed under his administration. His delivery got Stormy -- hook, line and sinker.
As you can see in the video ... Stormy, who headlined a one-night comedy event in Houston back in March, ate it up. Glickman dedicated his Trump bit to her and thanked Stormy for "taking one for America." Easy, 45 ... he didn't mean inches. We think.
We're told Stormy and Stephen met backstage later, and hit it off so well they went to Denny's with some other comics. That's where she proposed Stephen join her tour, and he agreed.
For the record, Glickman is an equal opportunity offender ... 'cause his comedic arsenal includes impressions of Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. This performance was his recording for his debut stand-up album, which comes out later this year.
Hail to the chiefs ... and would-be chiefs.

President Trump's haters might not wanna hear this, but he's not special -- he's just ONE member of a group of "thugs" and "gangsters" destroying the world ... according to Deepak Chopra.
The alternative medicine guru, who's normally all about peace and love, was pretty fired up about the state of our nation when we saw him Thursday at LAX. We asked him what Americans can do to heal after last weekend's mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
He isn't wasting time getting philosophical -- instead he's unloading on Trump and several other world leaders. Just watch ... this ain't your father's Deepak. THIS guy is fed up.
Now it wasn't all doom and gloom. Deepak did offer some advice on how we can turn things around -- aaand then threw in one more jab about how the Prez came to power in the first place.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger Gun Laws Have to Change It's on Congress to Find Common Ground
-
Exclusive
- 1.9K shares
Congressman Adam Kinzinger is having an epiphany after the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton -- saying it's time to change some gun laws, and time to say screw partisan politics.
The GOP lawmaker from Illinois was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday to discuss last weekend's domestic terrorism -- resulting in 31 deaths -- and why it compelled him to do an about-face on 2 key points on gun control. He's now supporting universal background checks -- a House measure he voted against earlier this year -- and raising the gun purchasing age from 18 to 21.
Kinzinger says he's fully aware his new views could potentially hurt him politically, but he doesn't care. Just as importantly, he strongly believes there's a way for Democrats and Republicans to come together on this issue.
You've gotta see what Kinzinger is proposing because, honestly, it's refreshing to hear from anyone in Washington, DC.
Kinzinger makes no bones about it ... he's sick and tired of partisan politics when it comes to preventing future mass shootings.
He also has some advice for the media when it comes to covering these tragedies, and you can see that when the full interview airs on Tuesday's "TMZ Live" (click here for times).

Donald Trump Cosigns on Criticism of Obama & Mass Shootings ... But 44 Didn't Empower White Supremacists
Donald Trump is promoting the notion President Obama got a pass from past Presidents when there were mass shootings on his watch ... but the differences are glaring, obvious and, frankly, enraging.
Trump tweeted a quote from Brian Kilmeade from "Fox & Friends" ... "Did George Bush ever condemn President Obama after Sandy Hook. President Obama had 32 mass shootings during his reign. Not many people said Obama is out of Control. Mass shootings were happening before the President even thought about running for Pres."
Kilmeade said that Tuesday morning on his show, and 45 must've been watching -- and perhaps applauding -- the response to Obama's comments Monday. The former Prez said, "We should soundly reject language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred or normalizes racist sentiments; leaders who demonize those who don't look like us, or suggest that other people, including immigrants, threaten our way of life, or refer to other people as sub-human, or imply that America belongs to just one certain type of people."
Obama is clearly referencing Trump -- and who can argue with him? Donald Trump preaches fear -- undeniable. He demonizes those who don't look like us -- undeniable. And, on and on.
Donald Trump laughed at a rally when someone said the solution to immigrants coming into the country illegally was to shoot them.
FACT -- Obama advocated banning assault weapons, but too many members of Congress sold their souls to the NRA for their own self-preservation and wouldn't hear of it.
Trump came up with an alternative theory -- somehow put the brakes on the insidious video games, which he links to mass shootings. FACT -- in Japan in 2017 there were 22 shooting crimes. Video games in Japan are wildly popular -- way more than in the United States.
So, the overarching message from President Obama addresses the destruction of America and the rise of white nationalists who clearly feel empowered to mete out justice, John Wick-style.

Beto O'Rourke on Prez Trump 'Jesus Christ, Of Course He's Racist'
Beto O'Rourke is sick and tired of being asked if President Trump is racist ... and now he's ripping into the media for asking about something he feels is blatantly obvious to everyone.
The former Congressman from Texas, Presidential candidate and El Paso native was on MSNBC Monday morning, and blew a gasket while conveying his frustration following 2 mass shootings that left at least 29 dead.
Beto didn't hold back, saying, "Anyone who is surprised is part of this problem right now, including members of the media who ask, 'Hey Beto, do you think the president is racist?' Well, Jesus Christ, of course he's racist! He's been racist from before Day 1 when he was questioning whether Barack Obama was born in the United States."
The ex-Congressman had also lashed out at the media on Sunday ... using even more colorful language.
"Members of the press, what the fuck?" Beto O'Rourke and all of us. pic.twitter.com/hJNSBsPUmA
— Tommy X-TrumpIsARacist-opher (@tommyxtopher) August 5, 2019 @tommyxtopher
Beto's rant comes just 2 days after the majority-Hispanic city he used to represent came under fire from the 21-year-old gunman who stormed into a crowded Walmart and killed at least 20 people. The suspect wrote an anti-immigrant manifesto that echoes Trump's language and views about immigrants.
For what it's worth ... Trump partly blamed the shooting on video games.
Beto, clearly, isn't trying to hear that.

Ann Coulter thinks Democrats have a clear choice if they want to nominate a candidate who can beat Donald Trump in 2020 ... but she's confident their identity politics will derail a slam dunk.
We got America's conservative sweetheart on the Upper East Side ... and she says after watching the Democratic debates, Joe Biden is the only one who can realistically challenge Trump for the White House.
But, Ann says the Dems will totally screw up the nomination ... because she thinks they're fooling themselves into believing Kamala Harris is the chosen one.
Ya gotta hear why Ann is predicting the Dems will go spurn Biden for Kamala ... her reasoning has everything to do with identity politics, and the next step from Barack Obama.
It's pretty interesting to listen to Ann's take on the Dems ... and she also tells us what Republicans should be demanding from Trump with 16 months remaining in his first term.

Tulsi Gabbard Kamala Harris' Shot at Me 'Pathetic,' 'Cheap Smear'

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard got Senator Kamala Harris good during the Presidential debate Wednesday night, but Harris later shot back -- essentially calling Gabbard a loser -- so now the war begins.
Gabbard appeared on "TMZ Live" Thursday and blasted Harris for dismissing her as a one-percenter attacking a "top tier" candidate.
Watch the clip ... you hear the disdain in her voice as she calls the post-debate attack "pathetic" and a "cheap smear."
ICYMI ... Gabbard went after Harris for prosecuting marijuana users when she was California Attorney General. She also attacked Harris for withholding evidence in death penalty cases where the death row inmate was wrongly convicted. We asked if such attacks are below the belt if the candidate has evolved ... Gabbard stayed strong.
Gabbard's performance drew lots of attention ... she was the most googled of the candidates after the debate.

Smokey Robinson Republicans Have to Stop Trump ... What Are They Afraid Of?!?
-

Smokey Robinson would like the real, good Republicans to please stand up ... because he says it's up to them to rid the country of its "canker sore" President.
We got the Motown icon at LAX Wednesday night and asked him about John Legend's profanity-laced tirade about Donald Trump ... Smokey seems to second that emotion, though way more low-key.
Robinson tells us he doesn't feel compelled to get too political himself, though ... because at this point anyone who's logical knows what needs to be done. The problem -- he says Republicans aren't listening to logic and speaking up.
Smokey goes on to slam the GOP for putting its party first and the good of the U.S. second ... and suggests its members are either afraid of something or obsessed with power.
Either way, he says he doesn't know how to get them to listen to reason and make a change for the better ... or he'd be all about it.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg Biden's 'Joe30330' Fumble is My Gain!!!
Joe Biden's big-time fumble at the end of the debate is now Pete Buttigieg's victory -- and it kinda shows youth has an edge over experience ... at least when it comes to the Internet.
The former Vice President was THIS close to the finish line at Wednesday night's Democratic Presidential debate when he not-so-confidentially shared a fumbling message to millions of viewers, "If you agree with me, go to Joe 3-0-3-3-0 and help me in this fight."
Seems uncle Joe actually meant to say "text" ... not "go to" -- but since he made it sound like a website, people assumed he meant to reference the election year 2020 ... and just royally screwed it up.
Enter Mayor Pete's team -- because now if you put joe3030.com in your browser, it takes you to Pete's website!
Yes, the presidential candidate scooped up the domain, and possibly some of Biden's supporters.
Looks like a brilliant move by Pete's team, but one of his campaign officials tells us it was one of their supporters who actually did it. Naturally, Biden got dragged on social media for his gaffe. Some joked Biden had just given out his PIN number while others said Joe should sit out this race and try again in the year 3030.
For what it's worth ... Biden wanted to say, text JOE to 30330.
Oops.

Marianne Williamson Don Lemon Can't Diminish Me!!! Rips Reparations Question

Marianne Williamson thinks Don Lemon went low when he asked what makes her "qualified" to tackle the issue of slavery reparations, and says she's not backing down from him or anyone else on the campaign trail.
The Presidential candidate joined us on "TMZ Live" Wednesday after what some call a resounding victory for her in the latest Democratic debate. In particular, she took umbrage with the way CNN's Lemon attempted to grill her about her plan to spend up to $500 billion on reparations.
Williamson admitted Lemon's tone rubbed her the wrong way, and told us his question is a symptom of exactly what's wrong with Presidential politics in America -- namely, toxic arrogance on the part of traditional politicians and political pundits.
If you missed it ... the tension between Don and Marianne was palpable during the debate as soon as he asked the question.
Marianne's unique voice clearly struck a chord with voters Tuesday night -- she was the most Googled candidate during the debate -- and she tells us she refuses to let Lemon "diminish" her viewpoint.
As for why voters, and the other candidates, are now taking Marianne seriously -- the renowned author has an interesting theory about her "skill set."

John Legend is going to war with President Trump, the gloves are off and it's a full-on street fight ... the singer is calling the President a 'piece of s***' and a canker sore on this country.
The EGOT winner was leaving Peppermint nightclub Tuesday night in WeHo, where he was coming in hot on DT on the way out -- and it's truly something to behold. We know John isn't a fan of the Prez, but we've never seen him swinging quite like this.
He lashes out in a profanity-laced tirade against Trump, and it appears his recent comments about Baltimore and its representative in Congress, Elijah Cummings, is what set him off.
ICYMI ... Trump called Baltimore a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" over the weekend, as well as a "dangerous & filthy place" -- criticizing Rep. Cummings for bashing the southern border sitch instead of tending to his own district. He's doubled down since then.
....As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 27, 2019 @realDonaldTrump
Trump's latest perceived attacks against people of color seems to be the final straw for John -- who absolutely insists to our camera guy ... "We need to get him out of office."
He says instead of trashing downtrodden American communities, we need to lift them up ... and this President is NOT doing that. Them's fighting words!!! The question now ... did John go too far here?
