President Trump Sacks Election Night Party Plans

Published | Updated

Hold the balloons and confetti -- President Trump is reportedly bagging on a planned election night shindig at his hotel in Washington D.C., and it could be a major sign ... of several things.

The event scheduled for Tuesday night at his Trump International Hotel was billed as THE Trump campaign's celebration of winning 4 more years in the White House, and POTUS would be in attendance. An email invite to the bash screamed, "It will be absolutely EPIC, and the only thing that could make it better is having YOU there." Very Trump-esque.

However, the Prez is now opting to watch the poll results pour in from the White House ... according to the New York Times.

Now, Democrats will say the Prez is running scared ... eyeing poll numbers that show him trailing anywhere from 3 to 8 percentage point. Another option could be the administration finally adhering to coronavirus concerns. Current D.C. restrictions are for no more than 50 guests at a party.

The more likely option though is the strong likelihood the election won't be decided on Tuesday night -- so, what's the point of filling a ballroom if ya can't pop champagne bottles?

We've reached out to the Trump campaign ... no word back yet.

Lil Wayne Endorses Trump After Meeting ... Ripped By 50 Cent!!!

UPDATE

5:11 PM PT -- 50 Cent, who once endorsed Trump before switching course, is even coming down on Weezy.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Fiddy says he would have never taken a photo with Trump like Wayne just did.

Lil Wayne's stuntin' with President Trump, but it's way more than a photo op -- he's also voicing his support for the Prez and his proposed plan for the Black community.

The rapper says he had a great meeting Thursday with POTUS, and shared a photo of them smiling together with thumbs up. He says he's endorsing Trump based on his track record on criminal justice reform, and he's excited about Trump's Platinum Plan.

Wayne believes it will "give the community real ownership." As we've told you ... Ice Cube worked with Trump's team on the plan, which vows to pump $500 billion into Black communities, and provide better access to equitable education and jobs.

Cube didn't endorse Trump, but caught a lot of flak nonetheless, because many critics felt he was being used due to the timing of the announcement ... about a month before the election.

Wayne's meeting, just 5 days before Election Day, might draw the same criticism. It's unclear where they met or what exactly was discussed, but Tunechi says, "He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done."

Trump's endorsement from the hip-hop star comes on the heels of Lil Pump publicly backing him as well ... though Pump's reasoning was all about his personal bottom line.

50 Cent also seemed to be in Trump's corner for a moment, but later did a 180 and denounced him.

It looks like Lil Wayne's more certain about his choice.

COOLIN' OFF THE CROWD

President Trump's rally outside Tom Brady's office is a sweltering, hot mess ... but firemen are dousing Trump and his supporters to combat the heat.

Trump addressed a large crowd Thursday outside Raymond James Stadium -- home to Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the next Super Bowl -- and with folks crowded together under the baking hot sun, a fire truck opened up a hose to keep things cool.

The temperature's around 87 degrees, but that's a Florida 87, so the crowd was grateful -- some even turned their backs to Trump as they tried to get wet and cool down.

Trump noticed the water cannon during his speech, pausing to wonder if the commotion was friendly. If it wasn't he joked, "Let's take care of those son of a bitches." Not shockingly, the Prez couldn't hide his delight when the firefighters aimed at the media's cameras.

The water cannon reportedly sprayed folks as far as 100-yards away ... but some people have reportedly passed out in the sun, and medics are on the scene.

It's the second Trump rally this week dealing with weather issues. As we reported, supporters at Tuesday's Omaha rally were stranded in the cold and some ended up in the hospital.

Paul Rudd Thanks for Voting ... Have a Cookie!!!

Published

Paul Rudd's showing his appreciation to Brooklyn residents braving the rain and chilly weather to stand in a long line to vote ... by providing a sweet pick-me-up.

The 'Ant-Man' star was handing out cookies to voters Thursday morning in NYC, telling each person, "Thank you for coming out and voting."

It appeared Paul was accompanied by a cookie-man with a backpack who was supplying him with the treats to disperse as they made their way down the line. It's COVID-safe generosity ... Paul and crew were wearing face masks and gloves.

Brian Rosenworcel, the drummer and cofounder of the band Guster, is the guy who recorded Rudd doing his good deed as he was waiting to vote himself.

As we've reported ... several other celebs have found their own unique ways to encourage Americans to exercise their right to vote in 2020. There was Lizzo's red, white and blue-themed music vid, Lil Dicky's nude breakdown of the 2 presidential candidates ... and of course, a lot more stars stripping down to raise awareness of proper mail-in ballot procedure.

Paul's going the Mr. Nice Guy route, which is right on brand -- but considering his face was covered, ya gotta wonder how many voters really knew who the cookie-man was.

Bill Maher RBG Didn't Take the Hint ... Obama Wanted Her to Retire!!!

Published | Updated

Bill Maher's politics seem mostly aligned with the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but he thinks RBG messed up by not taking Barack Obama's "hint" to retire before he left office.

The 'Real Time' host was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and railed on the Dems for being a "loser party" that doesn't know how to do politics.

Jimmy gave Bill props for the way he handled RBG's death -- he was on the air when someone broke the news to him and he pivoted in expert fashion. But, Bill thinks we never should have been in this position where RGB rolled the dice Trump would not be elected and if he was elected she could outlast him.

The "Real Time" host said there was a reason Obama invited RGB to The White House, because he says Obama didn't just invite people over to shoot the breeze ... he invited her, he said, to nudge her into retirement, but she didn't take the bait.

Bill skewered the Dems for not pressing more, and when Jimmy said her death came as a shock, Maher scoffed and said she had a long history of cancer and she was very old, so it should not have been shocking that she finally passed. It turned into a bonanza for Trump, who secured Amy Coney Barrett's elevation to the High Court ... the Justice Maher calls it "Nutso."

Speaking of Trump ... Maher has a prediction for how the election and the aftermath will go down, and it's worth a listen.

Jack Nicklaus Endorses Donald Trump ... Look Past His Bad Tweets

Published | Updated

Golf legend Jack Nicklaus is officially endorsing Donald Trump -- saying he's "learned to look past" the President's flaws ... including bad tweets.

"I have had the privilege over the last 3-and-a-half years to get to know our current President a little more as his term progressed," the 80-year-old said in a statement Wednesday.

"I have been very disappointed at what he's had to put up with from many directions, but with that, I have seen a resolve and a determination to do the right thing for our country."

Nicklaus says Trump has "delivered on his promises. He's worked for the average person."

Then, Nicklaus addressed some of the controversial and offensive things Trump has said/tweeted over the years -- chalking it up as no big deal.

"You might not like the way our President says or tweets some things – and trust me, I have told him that! But, I have learned to look past that and focus on what he's tried to accomplish."

Jack says he's convinced Trump "has been more diverse than any President I have seen and has tried to help people from all walks of life -- equally."

"This is not a personality contest; it's about patriotism, policies and the people they impact," Nicklaus continued.

"His love for America and its citizens, and putting his country first, has come through loud and clear. How he has said it has not been important to me. What has been important are his actions. Now you have the opportunity to take action."

He concluded, "I strongly recommend you consider Donald J. Trump for another 4 years. I certainly have and have already cast my vote for him."

For his part, Trump liked the endorsement -- saying, "Jack, this is a great honor. Thank you!"

Lyft Offering Big Discounts to Voters ... In Some Cases Free Rides

Published

With Election Day fast approaching, lots of folks will be looking for ways to get to their polling places, which is where Lyft comes in ... with a major assist for thousands of voters.

A rep for the rideshare co. tells TMZ ... their team has already helped mobilize nearly 30,000 people with a transportation plan on Nov. 3. They're also helping voters to make sure they're registered.

Might seem like small potatoes, but since every vote counts in this election -- it's actually a big deal. Lyft says they've achieved this via their Voting Access Hub, along with countless partnerships in a comprehensive push to get out the vote.

Lyft's also offering sweet deals on Election Day for folks who need a lift to the polling place.

It'll be cheaper than usual to use Lyft that day -- and it could be straight-up free, depending on your circumstance. Lyft says it's offering 50% off one ride with a $10 max discount, one way. The code to get the discount is 2020VOTE.

For folks in underserved communities, they'll have the opportunity to get a ride on the house.

Lyft is partnering with orgs like Nike, More Than a Vote, Vote.org, Black Women's Roundtable, Sony Music Group, Plus 1 Vote ... and even John Legend, who's focusing on getting transportation for formerly incarcerated people who are eligible to vote.

A Herculean effort, really ... but it's now or never, right?

Lizzo I'm 100% That Voter

Published | Updated

Lizzo has voted ... and she REALLY made it count.

The singer submitted her ballot for the 2020 election in West Hollywood, and she made her presence felt ... by strutting her way to the dropbox in an American flag tank top, white booty shorts and glittery golden boots.

It looks like the modern Miss Liberty carries a Maison Margiela foldover patent-leather clutch, too. Naturally.

Lizzo's scored her voting vid with a little ditty about it being "time to vote" ... something several celebrities have been promoting lately.

Unlike Chris Rock, Chelsea Handler, Mark Ruffalo, Sarah Silverman and Lil Dicky, Lizzo didn't get naked for her voting reminder ... but she still made it sexy with some celebratory twerking.

She says this is the third time she's voted in her life, and she believes "this is the beginning of making voting ACCESSIBLE and FAIR so that this country reflects its people."

Lizzo also thanks all the activists out there working hard to make sure people are able to exercise their right to vote, "so we can get back to the good fight for true liberty and justice for ALL."

Trump's Omaha Rally Hundreds Stranded in Cold Afterward ... Bus Fiasco Leads to Hospitalizations!!!

Published | Updated

President Trump's rally at an Omaha airport left hundreds of his supporters feeling ice cold ... and several ended up in the hospital!!!

After Trump finished addressing a large crowd Tuesday night at Omaha's Eppley Airfield -- where he said, "Is there any place you would rather be than a Trump rally on about a 10-degree evening?" -- the bundled-up Prez got back on Air Force One and jetted off ... as temperatures got even colder.

Now, Trump was exaggerating -- it wasn't 10 degrees -- but the temp was below freezing and when his supporters had to wait to get on shuttle buses to take them back to distant parking lots, it became a major problem.

The buses were unable to accommodate for the amount of people waiting, leaving attendees standing in the cold for hours ... including many elderly folks.

Police tried to help get the most at-risk people to warmth and safety, but at least 7 people were reportedly taken to local hospitals. After waiting for hours, many people gave up on the buses and walked to their vehicles about 3 miles from the rally site.

According to the Trump campaign ... it provided enough buses for everyone, but there was a traffic jam on the 2-lane road leaving the airport after the event.

Typically, Trump rallies are inherently dangerous due to the lack of face coverings in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic -- but in late October in Nebraska, there are other risks too.

Planned Parenthood Rallying Voters for SCOTUS Payback Against GOP Senators

Published | Updated

With Amy Coney Barrett now confirmed to the Supreme Court -- as President Trump and Sen. Mitch McConnell promised -- one organization is vowing to get revenge at the polls.

Sources tell us Planned Parenthood Votes is knee-deep in voter outreach this election, and its mission is clear ... getting more women than ever before to not only vote, but specifically defeat any incumbent GOP Senators who confirmed ACB.

We're told PP's got this initiative going called We Decide 2020 -- a 50-state virtual volunteer program that aims to recruit, train and mobilize thousands of people to spread awareness about what and who is on their ballots ... as it pertains to women's reproductive rights.

I WORK FOR YOU

Some of their targeted battleground states include Montana, Iowa, Georgia and Colorado. All of those states have GOP Senators up for re-election. We're told PP is also focusing on Presidential battleground states like Pennsylvania, Florida and Wisconsin.

The idea behind this, we're told, is to make sure another Justice Barrett situation doesn't happen. PP leadership feels ACB was rushed through, and women's rights are hanging in the balance now that SCOTUS leans conservative, 6-3.

Planned Parenthood says what Trump and the Republican Senators (only one voted against confirmation) did is a blatant power grab that threatens the causes and people it advocates for every day.

The org adds, "We will help ensure this is the last Supreme Court confirmation they take part in while in office."

2020 Election Food Trucks Keep People Full ... Get a Taco!!!

Published | Updated

Some lucky people and also voters casting their ballots are getting a tasty reward -- even before election results -- in the form of free tacos!!!

Here's the deal ... Vote.org branded food trucks are descending on voting sites through Election Day, providing folks braving the long lines with free grub, water and voting rights info.

The treats are free to all voters and locals, as the nonpartisan org is picking up the tab. We're told it costs about $15,000 to rent the food trucks for 12 hours and dish out hundreds of meals.

The food trucks are setting up shop in Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin ... almost all of which are critical battlegrounds that will most likely decide who wins the White House.

We're told the trucks are giving away between 750 and 1,050 free meals each day ... which is huge, considering the coronavirus pandemic is increasing food insecurity issues in communities the food trucks are serving.

2020 Election 'Trump Store' Collecting Ballots ... Undercover Video Shows

Published | Updated

Here's a GOP campaign HQ in California, doubling as a Trump merchandise store, AND allegedly collecting ballots -- a state violation -- according to this undercover video.

The video was shot in Newport Beach and shows "Trump Store" employees offering to collect a voter's ballot for storage in their safe. The footage was filed with a complaint made to the Orange County Registrar of Voters.

Vice obtained the video which briefly shows the inside of the store filled with Trump merch, before the lens is covered ... but you can clearly hear the conversation about collecting ballots. An employee, or volunteer, says "it's very safe" to drop off a ballot there.

California Secretary of State Alex Padilla and Attorney General Xavier Becerra fired off a cease and desist to the California GOP over its use of ballot boxes. The person who filed the complaint says the video was shot after that cease and desist.

The GOP has defended using ballot boxes, claiming they are legal under the state's ballot collection law.

NYC Voters Lined Up Around Blocks In Person ... One Week to Go

Published

Early, in-person voting kicked off in NYC this weekend, and a few days later -- and exactly one week out from Election Day -- there are no signs of those lines fizzling out.

Check out the scores upon scores of people in the Big Apple Tuesday, all of whom are waiting up to about 3 hours just to cast their ballot in the flesh. These shots show a Iine stretching 5 city blocks -- 58th to 63rd Streets -- near Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

NYC voters seem dead set on the age-old tradition of voting in person ... even though mail-in voting is right there for the doing.

Of course, President Trump has sown a lot of doubt and apprehension about mail-in ballots -- not to mention widespread accusations of shenanigans at the U.S. Postal Service. So, people might have reason to be concerned.

Remember, we saw people wrapped around blocks as well on Saturday ... the first day of early voting in the city. Early voting is also underway in all 50 states now -- and this year might prove to be one the biggest turnouts yet.

'60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl Family Gets Death Threat, Security After Trump Interview

Published | Updated

The "60 Minutes" interview President Trump cut short over what he felt was unfair questioning from Lesley Stahl has left her, and her family, in a dangerous situation ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources tell us ... CBS is now providing Stahl with around-the-clock security due to a death threat made to the home of one of her immediate family members on the west coast.

We're told the network has guards monitoring the homes of Lesley and her family members, and escorting them if they go out in public.

Law enforcement sources tell us the death threat call was reported to LAPD around 9 AM Thursday, October 22. We're told the caller directed the threat toward Lesley and her family, and also said something about neo-Nazis.

The call came a couple days after word got out the President bailed on Lesley. That's also a few hours before Trump released the full interview ahead of Sunday's broadcast.

Stahl's "60 Minutes" interview aired Sunday night on CBS ... including her follow-up questioning of VP Mike Pence as to why the Prez walked out on her.

Pence didn't really have an answer, but it was obvious from his abbreviated interview POTUS felt Lesley was unfairly grilling him. For her part, Stahl accused Pence and Trump of insulting her show.

Our sources say the police have an open investigation into the death threat.

Amy Coney Barrett Confirmation Triggers Protests Outside U.S. Capitol

CONFIRMATION CONFRONTATION

Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation to the Supreme Court is bringing out heated reactions -- pro and against -- which spilled onto the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Tons of protesters -- including some dressed as characters from "The Handmaid's Tale" -- showed up Monday night on Capitol Hill to rail against the third SCOTUS Justice nominated by President Trump.

Check out the video ... things were pretty tense as one man -- not wearing a mask -- is getting into an argument that quickly turns heated. Another man with a bullhorn interjected, but that only amped up the rage. Police responded to separate the angry parties.

As we reported ... Barrett was sworn in as the 115th Supreme Court justice in a ceremony at the White House. During her speech, she promised to carry out her duties independently from the presidency, congress and her own private beliefs.

But, it's clear protesters are not confident ACB will keep her religious views out of her decision-making while on the highest court in the land ... hence the protesters dressed as 'Handmaid's Tale' characters.

Protesters gave Brett Kavanaugh the same treatment back in 2018.

CP5's Raymond Santana Trump's Still Racist ... Biden's Got Our Back

Published

Raymond Santana, one of the exonerated Central Park Five, thinks President Trump's full of it when he says he's the "least racist person" ... and he's thanking Joe Biden for sticking up for them at the debate.

Raymond tells TMZ he firmly believes Trump's still very much a racist, despite what he claimed on the debate stage -- mainly because the President's never apologized for, or withdrawn, his statement that the 5 young men were guilty.

He says he's still walking on eggshells because Trump's refusal to acknowledge their innocence still influences people unfamiliar with the facts of the Central Park rape.

Trump's had beef with Raymond and his 4 friends since the crime was committed in 1989. The then real estate tycoon took out a full-page ad in The New York Times calling for their execution.

Raymond tells us he was grateful, emotional and relieved when Biden brought up the CP5 case at last week's Presidential debate.

He's applauding Biden for standing up to Trump, and says the look on Trump's face when Biden dressed him down was "priceless."

While Raymond's hopeful Biden sends Trump packing come Election Day, he knows it's far from a sure thing. He believes another 4 years of Trump would be unbearable for Blacks and Latinos.
