Scott Disick Here's My Plan to ... Win Back Kourtney

11/23/2015 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1120-scott-disick-kourtney-kardashian-TMZ-01Scott Disick is going all out to prove he's worthy to Kourtney Kardashian, but in true Lord D fashion his strategy involves making a few extra dollars while he's at it.

We've learned Scott is unloading his Bev Hills party pad. He went off the deep end while living there ... partly because the place is a magnet for hot chicks and wild parties -- a real panty dropper.

The home's already in escrow in the high $4 million range. Scott bought it for $3.69 mil ... so he'll likely pocket some cash off the sale. We're told Scott's looking to make real estate his main source of income post-rehab instead of club appearances. He's already been out hunting for other investment properties.

As for putting down roots -- Scott's reportedly looking to move into the same neighborhood as Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner ... just a stones throw from Kourtney and the kids.

Baby steps ...

'Love And Hip Hop' Stevie J I'm Going to Rehab To Stay Outta Jail

11/22/2015 12:40 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1117_stevie-j_TMZStevie J just avoided going back to jail, but there's a catch ... he's going to rehab instead.

Stevie was in court last week for his child support case so the judge could decide whether to revoke his bail for failing a recent drug test. Luck was on Stevie's side -- instead of locking him up, the judge ordered him to enroll in an outpatient drug treatment program.

Under the order, Stevie must report to a facility twice a week and comply with drug testing.

He has to go back to court next month, and show proof he's been following rehab rules. If he screws up -- jail time will be back in play.

Scott Disick Post-Rehab Beard Brings in Big Money

11/15/2015 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1113-scott-disick-beard-GETTY-02Scott Disick is fresh out of rehab lockdown, and already lining up business deals ... thanks to his new face fuzz.

We've learned Dollar Beard Club has lined up Scott to be a spokesperson for its line of beard oils, waxes, balms, and combs. We're told the company approached Scott a few days ago after TMZ first posted photos of him out in Malibu.

The terms of the deal are under wraps, but we're told Scott's duties will require him to push the bearded agenda out to his nearly 20 million social media followers.

Lord Disick seems ready-made for one of those awesome ads.

Scott Disick Still Has a Shot with Kourtney

11/13/2015 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1112_scott_disick_kourtney_kardashian_TMZScott Disick is a changed man thanks to rehab, and the Kardashians are loving it ... so much so, Kourtney has NOT completely closed the door on a reconciliation.

We're told Scott spent time with his kids and some of the Kardashians Wednesday night, and seemed like "a whole new him." Our source says he's been "amazing" since checking into rehab last month, and he gets a day off here and there to see his kids.

And get this, Kourtney might still be open to patching things up. We're told it would take a LONG time for Scott to prove himself again, but it's not officially over.

Shortly before he met up with the fam, Disick was looking healthy and refreshed around Malibu.

Bam Margera 3 Months Sober Thanks to Reality TV

10/25/2015 12:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1023-bam-margera-TMZ-01Bam Margera is bouncing back from rock bottom, quitting booze cold turkey ... and crediting a doctor he met on reality TV for his sober streak.

Bam's mom April tells us he's been sober for 3 months after getting treatment from Dr. Jenn Mann on her VH1 series, "Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn."

We're told Bam's drinking habit played a part when got knocked out cold in June during a concert in Iceland. Still, April says she was stunned Bam agreed to do the show because he'd been on a years-long bender following the tragic death of his best friend, Ryan Dunn, in 2011.

Bam's a completely different person after his treatment with Dr. Jenn, according to his mother ... who calls the change an absolute miracle.

Darryl Strawberry Khloe Is Saving Lamar's Life ... I Should Know

10/23/2015 12:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1022_darryl-strawberry_lamar_khloe_gettyDarryl Strawberry says Khloe Kardashian's decision to call off the divorce from Lamar Odom didn't just save their marriage ... but maybe Lamar's life ... because LO desperately needs her love and support to get back on his feet.

Strawberry knows what he's talking about -- he not only battled drug addiction during the height of his MLB career (he's now sober) but also runs a treatment center for recovering addicts.

So, when we asked him about the Odom situation, he stressed that Khloe is CRUCIAL to his recovery.

"Lamar stands a much better chance with her by his side. When you stand and confront your problems as man and wife, it makes you stronger. It did for me."

"Most people aren't going to care, so many people walk away. But if they face all these things together I hope that with the help of God he can get his life back in order."

FYI -- Strawberry met his current wife Tracy at a Narcotics Anonymous convention in 2003 and they have since written a book called, "The Imperfect Marriage," to help people in broken relationships.

In fact, Darryl says he wants to offer up his expertise to Lamar and Khloe -- "If they need anything, we're here with prayers and support."

Blake Shelton Furious Over 'Rehab' Cover Sues Magazine for Millions

10/19/2015 12:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1019-blake-shelton-TMZ-01Blake Shelton has just declared war on In Touch -- suing the magazine over a cover insinuating he checked into rehab after his split from Miranda Lambert ... and he's looking for MILLIONS.

Shelton's beef is over a September 28th cover that featured a picture of Blake along with the headline, "Rehab for Blake ... He Finally Hits Rock Bottom."

In his lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court by Shelton's attorney Larry Stein, Shelton says he's NOT in rehab and has no plans to go to rehab -- and he wants to set the record straight by suing In Touch's parent company, Bauer Media.

In fact, Blake calls BS on several specific lines from the article, including:

-- "Blake has hit rock bottom"
--  "His friends are terrified that he could end up dead at this rate"
-- "Blake's drinking and womanizing are what helped torpedo his 4-year marriage"
-- Mr. Shelton was "caught" by Ms. Lambert with "a bunch of naked women" in their home
-- "His close friends have talked about an intervention"

Blake wants AT LEAST $2 MILLION to make things right.

Scott Disick Checks into Rehab ... For His Kids

10/14/2015 1:55 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Exclusive Details

1012-scott-disick-tmz-01Scott Disick is back in rehab ... partly in hopes of winning a victory in his child custody battle.

Sources connected to Disick tell us he checked in last weekend to a facility in Malibu, and has not only admitted he has a problem ... but cut ties with some of his usual party pals.

We're told Disick took the leap because of his kids -- he's gunning for unsupervised visits. He's told friends Kourtney Kardashian won't let him have unsupervised visitation until she knows he's clean. Us Weekly first reported Scott's effort to get clean.

Disick made an abbreviated run at rehab earlier this year when he went to a center in Costa Rica that used hallucinogenic plants for treatment. He lasted a week before bailing.

Scott's decision to enter rehab came, coincidentally, just as Lamar Odom was going off the rails in Nevada.

CC Sabathia I'm Going to Rehab ... Issues with Alcohol

10/5/2015 10:15 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

1005-cc-sabathia-GETTY-01NY Yankees superstar CC Sabathia has just announced he's checking into rehab for issues with alcohol.

The 2007 Cy Young award winning pitcher just issued a statement saying, "Today I am checking myself into an alcohol rehabilitation center to receive the professional care and assistance needed to treat my disease."

"I love baseball and I love my teammates like brothers, and I am also fully aware that I am leaving at a time when we should all be coming together for one last push toward the World Series. It hurts me deeply to do this now, but I owe it to myself and to my family to get myself right. I want to take control of my disease, and I want to be a better man, father and player."

Sabathia says he has the full support of the Yankees organization and expects to return to the team next season and continue "playing the game that brings me so much happiness."

Sabathia reportedly made $23 million this season.

The announcement comes months after TMZ Sports broke the story that Sabathia was involved in a street brawl outside of a nightclub in Toronto following a Yankees game. Sabathia had to be held back from hecklers who were saying the Yankees suck.

Chet Hanks I Was Wrong to Fight for 'N-Word' ... It Was the Cocaine Talking

10/1/2015 6:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Tom Hanks' son is waving the white flag in his crusade to use the n-word ... admitting he was off the rails due to drug addiction and the pressure of being Tom's kid.

A few months ago Chet Hanks -- who raps under the name Chet Haze -- ranted about his right to say the n-word whenever and wherever he wanted ... but now says, "It's not my place to speak on it and I'm genuinely sorry for the people that I offended."

The reason for his about face ... rehab. Chet says he's been getting treatment for cocaine addiction that got so bad his nose was clogged. He adds that being Tom Hanks' son isn't all silver spoons. In fact, he thinks that's part of the reason he got so screwed up.

NBA's Ty Lawson I Didn't Need Rehab ... But I Did Learn Stuff

9/30/2015 3:58 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

0930-ty-lawson-tmz-01Houston Rockets star Ty Lawson says he does NOT believe he's an alcoholic ... despite 2 DUI arrests this year ... saying he just made "two dumb mistakes" and didn't really need to go to rehab.

Lawson just opened up about his stint at Cliffside Malibu, where he was ordered to complete a 30 day program stemming from his January DUI in Colorado, telling Yahoo Sports the experience was "eye-opening," but not completely necessary.

"I still honestly don’t think I would’ve had to go in there if it wasn’t court ordered. I just made two dumb mistakes. But I did take things from the [rehabilitation facility]."

As for what he learned, Lawson says ... he learned "what triggers are" and "what forces someone to drink."

Lawson says being around people at the facility who had bottomed out from booze gave him a new perspective on the dangers of drinking -- "I didn't think alcoholism got that bad. But it does."

"There were people who were pushed into [the rehab facility] by family, and then me, who was court ordered. Just to see that it can get that bad, that you can die. You may not see that as a person until you’re already there."

Lawson has a busy month ahead of him -- he's due in court in L.A. stemming from his July DUI on October 9th ... and his Colorado DUI case goes back in front of the judge on October 16th.

breaking news

The Duggar family says it's a "long-term treatment center" ... but does not say what kind of treatment he's getting. While Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have rarely admonished him ... they're directly ripping him now, saying ... "His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear."

They added Josh's wife, Anna, is also getting counseling for her "heart and future" -- and they're praying Josh comes to "complete repentance and sincere change."
