THE DRAMATIC FOOTAGE

12:30 PM PT -- Sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ Sports ... when cops responded to the club for a possible shooting, they ordered everyone to get down and not move so they could properly search and investigate.

We're told Bennett did not stay put -- instead, he ran -- and a cop outside the club stopped him and ordered him down to the ground at gunpoint.

Our sources say Bennett was detained until cops could determine he was not involved in any possible criminal activity ... and he was released.

TMZ Sports has obtained video of NFL superstar Michael Bennett being handcuffed by police while lying face down on the concrete in Las Vegas ... and you can hear him screaming that he's innocent.

The video was shot outside Drai's Nightclub on August 26 -- you can see one officer take position on a balcony while another cop handcuffs Bennett on the street level.

During the incident Bennett screams out, "I wasn't doing nothing man! I was here with my friends! They told us to get out, everybody ran!"

Bennett claims the officer had pulled a gun on him and threatened to "blow my f*cking head off" -- but you don't see that in our footage. At the time the video begins, Bennett is already being cuffed.

You can see the officer on the balcony is clutching something in his hand that resembles a handgun -- but it's unclear.

Bennett has said in a statement that he -- and several hundred other people -- were running from the club after hearing what they thought were gunshots. He claims cops stopped him for "being a black man in the wrong place at the wrong time."

We've reached out to the Las Vegas Metro PD for comment -- we're told they're investigating the incident.

'Ink Masters' Star Chris Blinston Arrested for Allegedly Strangling 13-Year-Old Daughter

Published | Updated

"Ink Masters" star Chris Blinston allegedly used both hands to choke his 13-year-old daughter so hard he squeezed off her airway ... leaving her terrified and gasping for air.

Blinston's daughter told a therapist Blinston choked her Tuesday following an argument at his house during a custody visit. She told the therapist her dad strangled her twice Tuesday and that triggered a police investigation.

According to the police report -- obtained by TMZ -- the daughter says Blinston grabbed her around the neck and squeezed off her airway and was unable to breathe for 10 seconds. When he finally let go, she told him, "You just choked me, after everything that's gone on the past two days, you're choking me!"

According to the report, Blinston grew furious and again grabbed her by the neck and this time cut off her airway for another 6 to 7 seconds. The report also says Blinston called her cruel names -- including "mental skank." He allegedly told her if she told anyone about the incident there would be hell to pay.

When cops interviewed the girl they noticed marks on her neck, consistent with strangulation. The report noted that she's 5-foot-1, 110 pounds and Blinston is 5-11, 220 pounds.

Blinston was arrested on charges of felony domestic battery by strangulation. He was released from jail Friday after posting $6,000 bond.

Chris wholly denies all of the allegations, and says he looks forward to a full exoneration and intends to reconcile with his daughter.

Reality TV Lawyer Loredana Nesci Boyfriend Found Guilty of Murder ... In Stabbing Death

Published | Updated

Loredana Nesci's boyfriend has been found guilty of murdering the lawyer-turned-reality star ... this after she was found stabbed to death in her home 2 years ago.

A jury found 53-year-old Robert Brian Reagan guilty Friday of second-degree murder after he was arrested in connection to her death in 2015, when she was found dead at their home in Redondo Beach. They spent about a week deliberating after a 2 week trial.

The couple had gotten into a domestic dispute, which led to her being stabbed to death with a hunting knife.

Reagan claimed her death was an accident. During the trial, Reagan's defense team argued she'd impaled herself on the knife after the couple had gotten into a physical struggle. The prosecution said he did it purposely to avoid a custody battle over their 5-year-old son.

Nesci was the star of her own show on Sundance TV, "Loredana, Esq." ... which ran for a season back in 2014. Nesci had represented a lot of celebrity clients, including wrestling legend Scott Hall.

It's unclear if Tenichia is saying the alleged victim stated there was sexual contact with consent or no sexual contact at all. Tenichia says she recorded her conversation with the alleged victim.

Tenichia is still on the run. It's unclear why she doesn't go to the cops and try and explain things.

Oakland Raiders Coach Sean Smith was Defending His Sister

Published | Updated

Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio has Sean Smith's back -- sorta.

Del Rio was asked about Smith's arrest over an alleged July 4 beatdown of his sister's boyfriend and produced a possible defense for the cornerback.

"He was defending his sister," Del Rio told SFGate.com ... "Obviously, things occurred that were taken issue with, so he’s having to defend himself right now.”

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Smith -- who signed a $40 MILLION contract last year -- was arrested for felony battery in Pasadena after cops said he beat and stomped the man so badly he was hospitalized in critical condition.

Smith's lawyer says his client is innocent and will fight the charges -- but Del Rio's comments essentially confirm he did get physical with the other man. So, the "It Wasn't Me" defense is out the window.

But even if Smith was "defending his sister" -- the law only affords someone the right to use "reasonable force" to stop an imminent attack.

Based on the injuries the man suffered -- multiple broken bones, unconscious when police arrived, critical condition -- it sounds like officials believe Smith exceeded that standard.

Smith's due back in court next month.

Smith -- who signed a 4-year, $38 million contract in 2016 -- was arrested for felony assault. He posted $80,000 bond and is due back in court to be arraigned in September.

For his part, Smith has denied any wrongdoing and has vowed to fight the case.

The NFL has launched its own investigation into the incident.

So far, no comment from the Raiders.

LEAVING JAIL

That's a lot of weed.

8:02 AM PT -- TMZ Sports shot Randolph leaving jail moments ago ... with a big smile on his face!

Randolph didn't seem concerned one bit and casually walked to a waiting ride.

NBA star Zach Randolph was arrested in L.A. on Wednesday night -- igniting a crazy disturbance that required cops to call in the cavalry for backup, TMZ Sports has learned.

LAPD officers were called to the Nickerson Gardens area in L.A. around 10 PM -- and when they arrived, cops found a large crowd of people smoking, playing loud music and blocking the roadway.

Law enforcement sources tell us 3 people were seen grabbing their waistbands and running -- so cops went after them.

Three people were detained -- including Randolph, who was eventually arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, A FELONY. We're told the "intent to sell" part was due to the large amount of weed found.

Another man who was arrested was an ex-con in possession of a gun, law enforcement sources say.

After the arrests, we're told things got crazy -- the crowd became unruly and LAPD had to call for backup.

We're told 6 cop cars were vandalized -- tires slashed and windows busted -- and cops formed a battle line to restore order.

In the end, cops recovered 2 guns, drugs, a significant amount of cash and 2 vehicles were impounded -- though it's unclear if any of those things belonged to Randolph.

Randolph is listed at 6'9", 260 on his booking sheet, which also says bail was set at $20,000.

FYI, Randolph spent years with the Memphis Grizzlies before signing a brand new 2-year, $24 million contract with the Sacramento Kings.
