Maria Shriver Shops for L.A. Condos
Maria Shriver was quietly looking at pricey L.A. condos back in January ... months before the Arnold Schwarzenegger baby scandal broke ... TMZ has learned.
What's especially interesting about this ... it looks like Arnold told Maria about Mildred Patty Baena immediately after he left the governor's office on January 3.
Sources say Maria and her broker looked at a condo at The Carlyle on Wilshire, a pricey condo building near UCLA. Among the residents -- Bruce Willis, Sofia Vergara, Paul Anka, Donna Summer and Matt Kemp.
Our sources say Maria didn't like the units. We're told she looked at several penthouse units, which are priced between $10 - $14 million (they rent out for around $30,000 a month). She also looked at a few 3-bedroom condos, which were listed between $4 - $7 million (they rent out at around $17,000 a month).
We're told Maria felt the building was too exposed to the paparazzi.
Maria is still on the hunt for a place.

Faith Evans Pulls Trigger on Marriage
Faith Evans has filed for divorce ... TMZ has learned ... but it was a long time coming.
Faith -- who is married to record company exec Todd Russaw -- filed legal docs in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. Todd is also Faith's manager.
The couple married in 1997 and has two minor children. But according to the divorce petition, the couple separated in December, 2005. The 2005 date is curious, because one of their children was born in 2007.
Faith is asking for joint legal and sole physical custody. She wants Todd to have visitation rights.
Faith also wants the judge to reject any claim of spousal support.
Faith was married to Biggie Smalls when he was shot and killed in 1997.

Maria Shriver Hires Mega-Divorce Lawyer
Maria Shriver has hired one of the toughest divorce lawyers around, but she hasn't pulled the trigger on ending her marriage.
Sources connected with Maria tell TMZ ... she's hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped just about everyone in Hollywood, including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera.
As TMZ first reported, Maria has been miserable in her marriage for several years and wanted out. We're told Maria hired Laura significantly before the news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's baby mama broke, but Maria has been conflicted over whether to file for divorce -- partly because Arnold still has strong emotional influence over her and he wants her back.

Arnold Baby Mama Blows Cover in Her Divorce
Arnold Schwarzenegger's baby mama blew the lid off her secret when she wrote in her divorce papers ... she and her husband had no minor children during their marriage.
TMZ broke the story ... Mildred Patty Baena listed her husband, Rogelio Baena, on the child's birth certificate. Yet in her divorce petition, filed in February, 2008, she checks the box that says, "There are no minor children."
The upshot -- the judge would not order Rogelio to pay child support, and Patty is effectively saying someone other than him is the father.
The father, we know now, is Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had been secretly supporting Patty and the boy.

Camille to Kelsey -- The Kids Want Me, Not You!
Camille Grammer is privately blasting her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer over his bid to get sole custody of their children ... telling friends the kids have already made it clear ... they want to live with her.
Sources close to Camille tell TMZ ... after Kelsey filed the legal papers today in L.A. County Superior Court, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star called the move "another act of creepishness and chutzpah."
But we're told Camille ain't worried -- because she strongly believes their 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter are on her side. Camille has also told friends she will "fight like hell" to keep her kids with her ... "exactly where the children wish to be."
Our sources say Camille is ADAMANT Kelsey shouldn't get sole custody because he "abandoned his family and fathered a child out of wedlock … which speaks volumes about his parenting."
As we previously reported, Camille had been open to the idea of shared custody before Kelsey filed the docs today -- but now ... the gloves are off.

Kelsey Grammer Trying to Rip Custody From Camille
Kelsey Grammer has just filed legal papers to get sole physical custody of the two children he had with his ex-wife Camille Grammer ... TMZ has learned.
Kelsey's lawyer filed the legal docs today in L.A. County Superior Court.
Sources say Kelsey and Camille Grammer have been at war over the kids. We're told the children have been having emotional difficulty dealing with Kelsey walking out and divorcing their mom.
Kelsey is asking for joint legal but sole physical custody, but it's not clear where he wants the kids to live. Kelsey is currently in Chicago and the kids are in school in L.A.
Sources close to Camille are scoffing at Kelsey's move, saying she's been a full-time mother and he has been nothing but uncooperative in trying to work out a custody agreement. She was willing to give him 50/50 custody, but now all bets are off.

Schwarzenegger Fathered Out-of-Wedlock Baby
Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a baby with a member of his household staff, and that is what sent Maria Shriver packing ... and right into the office of a powerful financial adviser to get her affairs in order to end her marriage, TMZ has learned.
Sources say Maria was distraught after learning Arnold pulled a John Edwards. The baby mama worked for the family for two decades, retired and received a severance package, according to the L.A. Times.
The baby was born more than a decade ago, but until recently Maria thought the father was the woman's husband at the time.
Schwarzenegger told The Times, "After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
TMZ heard about the baby 5 days ago, but everyone in the Schwarzenegger camp was denying it. But sources told us Maria was "completely distraught" yet determined to move on with her life. She has not pulled the trigger to end her marriage on the legal side, but she has been working with a very powerful financial adviser who has been helping her position herself for a divorce.
We believe -- though have not confirmed -- there is a prenup, but the couple has been together so long the effectiveness of it is problematic.
UPDATE: Maria released a statement saying, "This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children."
She continued, "I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

Arnold BRO-MANTIC Man Party After Separation
Weeks after Arnold Schwarzenegger split from Maria Shriver ... the ex-governor was quietly reflecting ... with a boozed-up bro trip to wine country last week -- TMZ has learned.
Sources connected to Schwarzenegger tell us, Arnold and five unidentified male buddies took off for Napa Valley last week for a few days of man-pampering -- crashing at one of the ritziest resorts in town ... the Meadowood.
According to sources, the crew hit up a different expensive restaurant every night -- and when they weren't eating out ... we're told they ordered tons of pricey wine to their hotel rooms, played lots of cards, and smoked cigars.
If that weren't enough -- we're told the guys also took several long rides around the valley on their Harleys.
Of course, Arnold and Maria announced their separation to the media just days after Arnie returned from his man-cation.
But he'll always have that one magical week in wine country with the fellas ...

Glaser and Barone divorced in 2007, citing "irreconcilable differences" -- they have a 13 year old daughter.
As we previously reported, Glaser just scored a legal victory against an obsessed female fan -- scoring a restraining order against the woman after she camped out in front of his home.

Charlie has settled his custody dispute with Brooke Mueller, but it sound like it's still game on.

CSI Creator to Wife: I Want Our Kids, Too!
Anthony Zuiker, the creator of "CSI," has fired back at his wife for trying to jack their kids in their divorce.
Anthony just filed legal papers, responding to wife Jennifer's petition for divorce. Anthony is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 3 boys, which puts him squarely at odds with his wife, who is asking for sole custody.
And it's even more complicated because we've learned Jennifer spends a lot of time in England.
A lot of loot is at stake. CSI has generated more than $6 billion, and there's no prenup. The couple, who married in 1999, will almost certainly divide the "CSI" money 50/50, because there was no prenup.
Anthony and Jennifer are not skimping on lawyers. She's being repped by mega-divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope. And now Zuiker has disso-queen Laura Wasser.
Just 9 months ago, Anthony dropped a cool $1 mil on Jennifer's 40th birthday party.
How things change.
