Geno Smith's claim that IK Enemkpali's jaw punch WASN'T about money is a LIE ... that's according to a NY Jets player who witnessed the attack ... and says he heard IK talk about the cash.

Smith recently spoke out about the incident ... saying the idea the fight was about $600 he owed IK after flaking on a football camp appearance is "the biggest misconception in America."

TMZ Sports talked with a respected Jets veteran on the condition of anonymity ... and he says Geno's statement simply doesn't jive with what he saw and heard that day.

"Geno just saying that sh*t 'cause he don't wanna look bad."

Our source says IK was fuming about Geno's no-show even before the fight ... and personally heard him mention the money as the two men were being separated.

"IK was clearly upset about him not showing up to the camp. IK was talking it up to everyone at the camp that Geno was gonna be there."

Here's the blow-by-blow:

"So IK approached Geno about it in the locker room. he was clearly frustrated, and they were yelling at each other. And Geno said he didn't wanna talk about it, and kinda turned around, and that's when IK sucker punched him. Then we were pulling them apart, and then IK was like, 'You owe me money!'"

Floyd Mayweather hit the same Hollywood club as T.I. and Tiny Wednesday night -- but it doesn't seem the hatchet is buried all the way.

The three have a pretty nasty past -- which culminated in a BRAWL in Vegas last year when Floyd publicly claimed to be banging T.I.'s wife.

They seemed to have squashed the beef earlier this year ... but last night, it was pretty obvious there's still tension.

Mayweather arrived at Warwick first ... followed by T.I.

Tiny arrived a short time later by herself ... but only stayed for 3 MINUTES before she and T.I. bolted from the club.

Justin Bieber is officially on notice from a U.S. Marine and John Rich ... get your act together or suffer an ass whuppin!

During a Big & Rich show in Charlotte Wednesday night, the duo brought a couple of soldiers up in honor of Veterans Day, and one of 'em happened to be young and good looking -- prompting John to say, "This is like the man version of Justin Bieber. If Justin actually did s*** for people."

Adrien Broner is lashing out at Floyd Mayweather -- saying the fact that Floyd ripped him in public this week was some "gay ass s**t."

Yeah, not good.

But in a brand new video to Floyd, Broner immediately tries to do damage control ... saying, "I have no problems with gay men or gay women. I have no problems with the homosexuality out there."

Yeesh.

Here's the backstory -- Mayweather is mad at Broner because AB recently went on TV and said, "F**k The Money Team."

Floyd hit back in an interview with FightHype.com, saying, Broner should be THANKING The Money Team for everything Floyd and his crew have done for Broner over the years.

Mayweather said Broner "has a lot of growing up to do."

Now, Broner says he's trying to settle the beef ... but Floyd won't take his calls -- which is why he made a new video hoping Floyd will watch.

Vivica A. Fox fired the first shot at 50 Cent, and now he's launching missiles back at her -- after Vivica hinted he has issues with "gay stuff."

Vivica, who's guest starring on "Empire," was on "Watch What Happens: Live" ... and Andy Cohen brought up Fiddy's infamous Instagram re-post ... which claimed "Empire's" ratings decline was due to "gay stuff."

Check out her dramatic pause before blurting out ... "The pot calling the kettle black, is all I'm gonna say."

She tried to backpedal a little, recalling good times when she dated 50 -- but then did even more damage by questioning his magazine cover shot with Soulja Boy.

Snoop Dogg was pretty fired up after the Steelers game this weekend -- not just because his team won, but he also made $500 off a West Coast rapper who bet on the Raiders.

Snoop made the 2-to-1 wager with Mac Shawn 100 -- telling the guy he was SO confident Pittsburgh would stomp the Silver and Black, he agreed to pay Mac Shawn $1,000 on a $500 bet.

The game came down to the wire, but the Steelers won ... and after the game, the two rappers engaged in some super stoney smack talk.

Pro wrestling legend Bill Goldberg is lifting the shroud off one of the WWE's most famous gimmicks ... saying "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was more spit then swallow when it came to beers in the ring.

We got Goldberg out in L.A. -- promoting his new movie "Check Point" -- when we talked to him about rumors of a comeback match between him and Austin. So, we had to ask about Steve's infamous beer bash celebrations and if the dude really pounded brews.

That's when Goldberg broke the bad news and the UNFORGIVABLE news ... saying that not only is no match between him and the rattlesnake imminent ... but that Austin NEVER REALLY DRANK THE BEERS.

You knew it was coming ... Ex-NBA player Jay Williams says he has a perfectly good explanation for why he lost his 1-on-1 game with MTV star Andrew Schulz ... and he's spilling his guts to us.

Jay was out in NYC when he wanted to talk to us about the shot heard 'round the Twitter ... Schulz's desperation last ditch heave that has put Williams on a crow based diet for the foreseeable future.

"Come after the way he plays all you want, but the second you come after his intelligence is when you look far too desperate."

She then dropped that he scored a 38 on the Wonderlic test, an aptitude test NFL rookies take before the draft. 38 is a pretty good score.

BTW, great Wonderlic scores don't always equal great NFL success ... Blaine Gabbert reportedly scored a 42 ... and we all know how that situation's going.

Richie Sambora and his ex-girlfriend Nikki Lund just got socked with a big judgment in small claims court, but not because they were in the wrong ... but because they didn't bother to show up.

The short story ... two former employees sued their clothing company, Nikki Rich, because they didn't get their full salary. The employees made their case but Richie and Nikki weren't there to respond, so the judge issued default judgments for just short of $10k.

Cops rushed to Michael Lohan's Florida home for a suspected burglary, and we've learned he's pointing the finger at his estranged wife, Kate Major.

We're told Michael's mom, who's been staying at the house with Lohan's two kids, was out running errands Thursday and when she got back it appeared someone had been inside. The biggest clue was cigarettes.

We're told Kate smokes Camels and there were butts on the lawn, and a pack in the kitchen. A back closet was left open and items were missing, so Michael's nanny called the cops.

Bill Goldberg says he lost all respect for Donald Trump back in 2010 -- saying he's still pissed about the way he was fired from "The Celebrity Apprentice."

The firing was especially nasty ... but at the time, most people just chalked it up to reality show editing. Turns out, the anger was REAL.

"I respected him a lot before he fired me," Goldberg told TMZ Sports.

There's more ... Bill says Trump is basically the same person as WWE honcho Vince McMahon -- "They're both kind of off their rocker."

FYI -- Bill doesn't like Vince either.

Forbes dropped the bombshell, reporting Katy raked in more than $2 mil per city during her Prismatic World Tour. With 126 shows, it adds up fast.

Taylor Swift, who's had a rivalry with Katy, came in second but way behind Katy with $80 million.

Fleetwood Mac came in 3rd with nearly $59.5 mil, edging out Lady Gaga by half a mil. Beyonce trailed 5th at $54.5 mil.

9:30 A.M. PST -- Michael tells TMZ he's the one who paid for the car. In fact, he claims he's been supporting Kate for years, even before they were married.

Kate Major is keeping the war with Michael Lohan alive by getting a restraining order against him ... but before they cut ties, she wants her car back.

According to the docs obtained by TMZ, Kate wants Michael to stay 500 ft clear of both her and the Boca Raton school their older son attends.

Kate wants radio silence, but only after Michael returns her Maserati ... she wants the judge to order him to hand over the keys STAT.

Kate also wants spousal support ... $1,000 a week, or $2,000 every other week. She wants child support as well but doesn't say how much.

In her docs ... Kate describes emotional and physical abuse at Lohan's hands. As we reported, police rejected her claim that Michael slapped one of their kids.

Kate got a temporary stay away order. There will be another hearing later this month, where the judge will decide whether to extend the order.

Finally, some good news for Kobe Bryant -- HE'S GOT A JOB OFFER ... courtesy of Kenny "The Jet" Smith.

Look, it's no secret Kobe's playing like crap these days -- and Kenny says it's because his superhuman "Black Mamba" alter-ego was murdered by Father Time (RIP).

The good news? Kenny wants Kobe to come join him as a panelist on "Inside the NBA" on TNT ... but the job offer was laced with an old fashioned shot at the Lakers.

"We got a seat for you Kobe on TNT ... and it'll be ready for you in April 'cause y'all wont make the playoffs."

Kenny says it's the perfect gig for Kobe ... since it would reunite him with his former BFF/archnemesis Shaquille O'Neal.
