Stephen Belafonte gave the LAPD an audiotape in which you hear a woman -- whom he says is his baby mama -- try and extort him for a million bucks, and TMZ has obtained the audio.

Belafonte claims the woman on the phone is Nicole Contrereas. They were together for 6 years and have a 12-year-old daughter named Giselle. Contreras tells us she's not the woman on the tape.

You hear the woman in the call -- recorded March 20 -- tell Belafonte, "I'm gonna take you down" unless he pays her $500,000. She later ups the demand to $1 million.

She says Mel B's people asked her to tell her story, which says is "so ugly."

The woman, who sounds intoxicated, refers to Giselle and monthly payments Belafonte deposits in her account.

She rambles on, saying she will "bury" Belafonte.

The LAPD has the audio and is conducting an extortion investigation.

Kathy Hilton does NOT appreciate A-list actresses allegedly snubbing her or fans --- even if it is Amy Adams ... or Isla Fisher ... or whoever just walked by.

We got the Hilton family Saturday night at Craig's where they were talking about a possible wedding between Paris Hilton and BF Chris Zylka ... when all of a sudden a female star walked by and hijacked the moment with paps.

Our camera guy wrongly ID'd the celeb -- it was actually Amy, not Isla. Either way ... Kathy isn't a fan. As far as we can tell, Kathy says the star wouldn't take a pic inside the restaurant with a fan, and on top of that didn't thank Ms. Hilton for a compliment about her dress.

The former lead guitarist of Jefferson Starship is furious at other members for jacking the name and tarnishing the rock band's legacy ... according to a new suit.

Craig Chaquico claims 2 of this former bandmates and several other musicians are using the Jefferson Starship name, without permission, to land gigs and sell merch. Chaquico says the founding JS members all agreed to retire the name in 1985 ... and move on simply as Starship.

But according to docs ... David Freiberg and Donny Baldwin have assumed the Jefferson Starship name with a ragtag group who have no connection to the OG rockers.

Chaquico says he did give another founding member, Paul Kantner, the right to use the name for shows, and he did while touring with Freiberg and Baldwin. However, Paul died in 2016, and Craig says the right to use JS died with him.

Chaquico wants Freiberg and Baldwin cut off from the name immediately.

FYI, Jefferson Starship -- or whatever name they end up with -- has concerts next month in Minnesota and California. Who knew??

John Paragon, the actor who played Jambi the Genie on "Pee-wee's Playhouse," is being accused by a neighbor of repeatedly screaming at her to "shut her f***ing dog up!!!" and he tells TMZ ... guilty as charged.

Elizabeth MacPherson has filed for a restraining order, claiming John has a thing against her and her dog, once screaming at her for 4 hours ... "Shut that f***ing dog up asshole." She also claims he said, "I'm going to kill that f***ing dog."

We spoke with John, who says the 200 pound, white dog barks "incessantly" and numerous neighbors have complained, to no avail. He admits he's screamed at her to "shut the f***ing dog up," and she responded by flipping him off. He says he's never nor would he threaten her physically.

John says he's filed police reports and he and various neighbors have complained to animal control and a hearing is set for June.

Elizabeth says she has video of John screaming while the dog "sits complacently in the backyard."

She also says the alleged harassment has been going on for years ... back in 2014, she says she was playing bean bags with some friends and John began screaming, "Stop throwing those f***ing bags. F*** you."

Barack Obama took his first shot at his predecessor since inauguration day, lightly jabbing President Trump's speedy Twitter fingers ... and reportedly made a ton of money while doing it.

The diss came Thursday in NYC while the ex-prez was speaking to a crowd of A&E Network's advertisers. While presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin interviewed Obama, she asked how he handled frustrating moments in the White House.

Barack coolly replied, "For starters, by not having a Twitter account."

It was an expensive joke for A&E ... which according to the NY Post, paid Obama $400k for the speaking engagement. He's reportedly making that same amount to speak at an upcoming Health conference put on by Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald.

Michelle's no slouch herself ... she spoke Thursday at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Florida. Not to mention the huge advances both she and Barack got for their memoirs.

Tennis pro Genie Bouchard is slamming Maria Sharapova as a "cheater" who should NEVER be allowed to play pro tennis ever again.

Sharapova returned to pro tennis Wednesday after serving a 15 month suspension for testing positive for a banned substance.

But Bouchard -- a 2014 Wimbledon finalist -- told TRT World that Sharapova got off wayyyy too easy.

"She's a cheater and so to me ... I don’t think a cheater in any sport should be allowed to play that sport again," Bouchard said.

"It’s so unfair to all the other players who do it the right way and are true. So, I think from the WTA it sends the wrong message to young kids -- cheat and we’ll welcome you back with open arms."

"I don’t think that’s right and ... [she's] definitely not someone I can say I look up to anymore because that's definitely ruined it for me a little bit.”

10:40 AM PST -- A judge just ruled in favor of JB, saying the anti-Semitic comments hurled during the egging don't qualify as a hate crime against Bieber because he didn't make the comments, his bodyguard did. His attorney, Jeremiah Reynolds, says, "It is unfortunate that the Schwartzs were trying to exploit hate crime laws for personal gain. We are glad the judge denied their motion to plead these claims."

Justin Bieber's former neighbors -- the ones whose house he egged -- claim the singer committed a hate crime by hurling anti-Semitic comments their way, but even they admit it was not the Biebs who made the comments.

Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz have gone after Bieber for years after the infamous 2014 egging, for which Bieber was prosecuted. They got $80k from the singer for repairs to their home, but that wasn't enough. Jeffrey claims Bieber ruined his car sales business with all the publicity surrounding the feud.

They filed suit claiming emotional distress and loss of income, but now they've upped the ante by alleging a campaign of terror was waged against them. In the new docs, lawyers for the Schwartzes say, "Threatening a man with body harm while calling him a 'little Jew boy' and intimidating him with 'what are you going to do about it, Jew boy?' is a hate crime."

Bieber's lawyers say it's preposterous. The Schwartzes have admitted in legal docs the statements were allegedly made by Bieber's bodyguard and the singer never uttered such words.

The reason a hate crime is significant ... it ups the stakes in damages they can collect.

Mel B's ex-nanny is enjoying a new kinda 3-way these days ... leisurely sauntering with her boo and pooch in the midst of a nasty legal war.

Lorraine Gilles and her man, Michael Bleau, walked her dog, Django, Tuesday at a park in Woodland Hills, CA -- showing zero stress from the defamation lawsuit she's launched against Mel for accusing Lorraine of having an affair with Stephen Belafonte. Not to mention, allegedly getting pregnant by him and having an abortion.

Scott Baio can count on a can of whoopass if he ever runs into Erin Moran's brother, who wants payback for Scott's comments about Erin's substance abuse.

Tony Moran tore into Scott ... referring to a brief fling Erin and Scott had way back when they were young TV stars. His Tuesday Facebook post got nasty though when he said, "She told me that you were tiny." Then came the not so thinly veiled threat: "Get on your knees and pray you never run into me."

Tony's angry about Scott's radio interview where he took Erin to task for using drugs. At the time, Scott thought that's what killed her, but later learned it was cancer.

Scott told us he wouldn't have been so harsh if he'd known she was battling cancer -- but he stands firm on his view of addiction.

UFC rising star "Platinum" Mike Perry says he knows the devastating right elbow he used to K.O. Jake Ellenberger could've ended the guy's career ... but it hasn't fazed him one bit!

Perry joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Monday night on FS1) and told us he met with Ellenberger after and thinks he'll bounce back, but if he doesn't ... so be it.

Perry is a monster in the Octagon -- he's 10-1 with all 10 wins coming by way of KO/TKO.

He's also only 25 years old.

Stephen Belafonte will get to see the daughter he had with Mel B, but under very strict terms laid out by a judge.

Belafonte and his attorneys were in court Monday trying to get unmonitored visitation with 5-year-old Madison. Mel B's restraining order requires him to stay away from her and all of her children.

The judge ruled he can see Madison, but it will be with a court monitor present -- and will take place in a pre-determined counseling center in Los Angeles. Belafonte must attend alone for the 4 hour visits, twice a week.

Mel B's ex-nanny has dozens of photos to back her claim she wasn't just the hired help, and the singer seduced her into three-way sex with Stephen Belafonte.

We broke the story ... Lorraine Gilles filed a defamation lawsuit against Mel for saying Gilles got knocked up by Belafonte. Gilles insists Mel was totally in on and aware of the sexual escapades with Belafonte.

As part of her lawsuit, she submitted more than a couple dozen shots she says were taken during her 7 year relationship with Mel and Stephen. The pics certainly make it seem like she was tighter with the couple than your average nanny.

Shaquille O'Neal says WWE is squarely to blame for dropping the ball on his highly anticipated WrestleMania 33 matchup with Big Show ... saying, "They messed it up."

The 7-footers had been calling each other out for months in the hopes of colliding in the squared circle at the biggest wrestling event of the year ... but it didn't happen.

Mel B says her estranged husband is involved in the porn industry, and that means he shouldn't be allowed to have unmonitored visitation with their kids.

Mel B's attorneys are in court fighting Stephen Belafonte's efforts to regain visitation rights. Mel currently has a restraining order which bans him from all contact with the kids.

In court, her counsel said there was "evidence" on multiple computers in the family home that indicates he's connected to porn, and possibly shooting it himself. They claim there's a paper trail on him renting spaces around L.A. to shoot porn.

The hearing is still in progress, but so far the judge is leaning toward awarding Stephen monitored visits with Madison, the daughter they have together. However, the judge is also denying Stephen's efforts to get any visitation with Angel ... Mel and Eddie Murphy's daughter.

Bill Clinton's got a new bug on the lawn of the Clinton Center ... and a new joke for Donald Trump too.

Bill posed with a big ole grasshopper recently installed on the premises in Little Rock. He tweeted ... "BREAKING: We just learned that the @ClintonCenter has been bugged."

He was clearly taking a jab at Trump's claim Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped during the 2016 election.

BTW ... the critter Bill's posing with is part of the Clinton Center's Xtreme BUGS exhibit, which opened Saturday in honor of Earth Day.

Tom Brady didn't get his White House visit sacked by his supermodel wife ... that's according to his ex-teammate, Donte Stallworth, who tells TMZ Sports Brady would never duck his guy, Donald Trump.
