Rick Ross is dead serious about coming clean with Uncle Sam -- he hired new accountants and is close to wiping out his tax debt.

The rapper tells TMZ the $5.7 million he owes in back taxes is an issue that arose from an incorrect tax filing in 2012 by his previous accountants. Rick tells us he's not only hired a new team to correct the filing but has already paid a large portion of the debt.

TMZ broke the story ... the feds issued a tax lien against Rozay for owing a little more than $4.6 million in 2012 alone, plus more in 2013 and 2014.

Donald Trump missed out on a fine display of the First Amendment when 2 topless women burst into his polling place with a juicy message scrawled on their bods.

The women barged into the midtown Manhattan polling station -- where Trump later voted -- chanting, "Out of our polls, Trump. Out of our polls, Trump." They'd also written "Trump" and "Grab your balls" on their bare torsos.

They were almost immediately arrested and reportedly booked for electioneering -- a misdemeanor prohibiting the display of badges and signs supporting a candidate at a polling place.

Btw, the toplessness -- totally legal in NY state.

If Donald Trump wins the presidency, his first order of business might be a pardon for his son, who broke New York State law by posting a shot of his ballot.

Eric Trump tweeted a pic of his filled-in ballot, proudly showing off his vote for his dad. He tweeted to 560,000 followers ... "It is an incredible honor to vote for my father!" But the problem is that's illegal.

Someone apparently pointed that out to the 32-year-old Trump ... he immediately deleted the tweet.

The law prevents voters from publicizing their choices at the polls. It's a misdemeanor punishable by up to $1,000 fine and a year in jail.

Uncle Sam has a bone to pick with Rick Ross -- millions of dollars in unpaid taxes, according to new legal docs.

The IRS went through 3 years of Ross' taxes, and claims he owes about $5.7 mil of cold hard cash. The back taxes are from 2012 to 2014.

According to the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Ross owes a little more than $4.6 million in 2012 alone, and then about $570,000 a piece for '13 and '14, respectively.

The feds have issued a tax lien, and if Rozay doesn't pay up they could haul away his stuff to cover his nut.

Donald Trump campaign trail rhetoric is driving one NY voter crazy ... so much so the guy's suing the Donald, his running mate and many more ... for a BILLION bucks!

A guy named Louis Tafuto -- a registered Republican in upstate NY -- filed the suit Monday, claiming Trump is intimidating American voters by saying he won't accept the results if he loses the election. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, he says Trump is threatening "the core of the democratic way of life."

What Tafuto seems to be saying is he's going to vote Trump -- not because he wants to, but because he's afraid of what Trump will do if he doesn't win.

Worst of all, he claims to be suffering severe emotional distress because he's been "denied the choice of an honest and capable Republican candidate" -- and for that he's gonna need $1 billion to soothe his nerves. He's suing Trump, Mike Pence, their campaign, RNC chairman Reince Priebus and the RNC itself for the dough.

Tre Mason won't go to jail stemming from his March arrest -- when cops used a taser on the ex-Rams running back to subdue him after a traffic stop.

Mason was pulled over in his Porsche in Hollywood, FL on March 5th -- but when cops ordered him out of the car, he refused to budge.

Cops used the taser to incapacitate Mason and later charged him with resisting arrest without violence, reckless driving, weed possession and more.

Now, we've learned Mason cut a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to resisting arrest, weed possession and failure to register his vehicle ... and in exchange all he has to do is pay a $293 fine.

Robert Durst just pled not guilty to murder, in the death of his good friend, Susan Berman.

Durst appeared in L.A. County Superior Court Monday afternoon to enter his plea. He was wearing a neck brace, sitting next to his lawyers.

The 73-year-old was extradited from Indiana to face charges that he killed Berman because she was wise to another murder ... involving Durst's first wife, who disappeared in 1982.

Durst was famously featured in the HBO show 'The Jinx,' in which he appeared to have confessed to the murders, saying, "Killed 'em all, of course."

The D.A. says she will not seek the death penalty.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's parties will be protected by a small army come election night.

Cops with heavy artillery are patrolling the area on the eve of election day -- with scores of muscle handling security at Hilton Midtown for Trump's party and also at the Jacob Javits Center for Clinton's bash.

The venues -- which are less than 2 miles apart -- are also getting protection from K-9 and counterterrorism units. More than 24 hours out ... officials are already super strict about who's getting access for party preparations.

Last week the FBI named NYC a possible target for an election eve terrorist attack.

Easy to see why this is the largest election detail the NYPD's deployed -- it's the first time since 1944 both presidential candidates will be in NYC on election night.

Greg Hardy is learning the hard way ... don't mess (with cocaine) in Texas -- 'cause the ex-NFL star was just charged with felony drug possession and faces serious jail time.

Hardy was arrested on Sept. 25th when cops pulled over a 2010 Dodge Challenger for turning without signaling -- and during the bust, found a baggie of the white stuff in Hardy's brown Louis Vuitton wallet.

Officials say the coke weighed in at .7 grams.

Now, we've learned Hardy has been indicted on 1 count of felony possession of a controlled substance -- and faces up to 2 years in prison if convicted ... though it's unlikely he would get the max punishment.

UFC legend BJ Penn is off the hook in his sexual assault case -- with prosecutors telling TMZ Sports there is not sufficient evidence to prove he attacked a woman last year.

As we previously reported, cops in Hawaii launched an investigation into Penn after a former writer on his website claimed BJ forced himself onto his GF in August 2015 and forcibly removed her clothes.

Penn adamantly denied the allegations and claimed the writer made the whole thing up as payback for being fired from BJ's website.

2:20 PM PT -- Wale's current rep tells us the rapper's ex-manager booked the show, and took the money for it. The rep says Wale never saw a dime and the ex-manager never returned the cash.

Wale took a bag of money to headline a concert, but dropped a lotus flower bomb on it when he skipped the show and kept the cash ... this according to a new lawsuit.

Upfront and Personal Global, the promoters who say they hired Wale for a performance in NYC this summer, just filed suit against the D.C. rapper claiming to have paid him $25k with nothing to show for it come the day of.

In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Upfront shows an alleged signed contract between Wale's camp and the company, plus 2 wire transfers for $12.5k a piece. They claim after Wale bailed on the show, he went radio silent on 'em when asked for a refund.

Now, they want their dough back -- plus interest. We've reached out to Wale for comment ... so far, no word back.

Marisa Miller got burned in court -- the tanning company she was supposed to promote just scored a $1 million verdict against the model and her management company.

TMZ broke the story ... Glissin filed a breach of contract suit against Marisa for stiffing them on a spokesperson deal. They say she never followed through on most of her duties as its brand ambassador, after it paid her $1.8 million.

The Game's sexual assault accuser won't get access to his financial records ... now that a judge has shut down her request.

Priscilla Rainey had requested Game's books so she could determine his net worth ahead of the trial, but the judge denied her because she skirted the court's procedural rules. Rainey can refile her request, but she's gonna have to hurry ... the trial's less than 2 weeks away.

Jaime Pressly agreed to settle with her ex-accountant who allegedly screwed her out of almost a million dollars -- for a lot less -- but he says she's now reneging on the deal.

TMZ broke the story ... Pressly sued Daniel Rivero in January 2015 for $900k, claiming he overpaid her landscaper and messed up her taxes. According to the new docs ... the 2 agreed to settle the suit for less than a third of that -- $260k.

Rivero claims this should be a done deal, but there's a big problem ... Pressly won't sign standard paperwork releasing him from further claims. He says she's being unreasonable and it's a "thinly veiled attempt" to renege on the settlement and try to get more money.

FBI Director James Comey is full of surprises ... after multiple reports the agency would not be able to release its findings on the newly-discovered Hillary Clinton emails, he sent a letter to Congress Sunday saying the FBI has reviewed everything and the conclusions are the same ... i.e., Hillary didn't commit a crime.

Comey told Congress, "Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusion that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton." The FBI director had harsh words for Hillary ... saying she was careless, but the conduct did not rise to the level of a criminal offense.

The new emails surfaced in connection with an investigation into Anthony Weiner, where thousands of Hillary's emails were discovered on his computer. Weiner's estranged wife is Clinton's right hand woman, Huma Abedin.

The man who triggered a cascade of child molestation allegations against Michael Jackson has disappeared ... at least according to his sister who is scared to death her family is getting dragged into a posthumous child molestation lawsuit against the King of Pop.

Wade Robson, a choreographer/producer is suing MJ, claiming he was molested by Jackson for 7 years at the Neverland Ranch ... starting when he was 7.

Robson wants to take the deposition of the most famous MJ accuser, Jordan Chandler, who scored a $20 million settlement from the singer back in the '90s.

Problem is ... Robson's lawyers can't find Chandler, who's now 36. So they've asked to take the depo of Chandler's sister, Lily. They want to ask her if she knows Jordan's whereabouts, and whether she witnessed any sexual molestation at the Ranch.

Lily's freaked out, and has filed legal docs pleading with the judge to block the depo.

Lily claims her family -- especially Jordan -- has been viciously threatened by MJ fans, and if she resurfaces it will only stoke the coals. She attached some emails directed at her brother, including one that says "F*** you Jordan. U destroyed the king but karma is a bitch. your time will come."

Lily also says she was only 5 when she started going to Neverland and has no memory of any molestation.
