Charles Oakley says he has NO IDEA why he was kicked out of Madison Square Garden before things got physical with security Wednesday night ... swearing he has nothing but LOVE for the Knicks.

After Oakley was released from police custody, he sat down with a friend of his from Jimmy's NYC restaurant and calmly gave his side of the story.

Oakley also told the The NY Daily News he did NOT put his hands on Knicks owner Jimmy Dolan -- saying, "I was there for four minutes" ... I didn't say anything to him. I swear on my mother."

"They came over and wanted to know why I was sitting there. I bought the ticket. I said, 'Why do you guys keep staring at me?' Then they asked me to leave. And I said I'm not leaving."

Oakley was arrested and charged with 3 counts of misdemeanor assault and 1 count of trespassing.

Oakley's rep Akhtar Farzaie tells TMZ Sports, "Charles loves the Knicks, loves the fans, loves the city of NY."

"Oak bought his ticket to support the team and was told he was ordered to leave without reason ... anyone would be furious!"

The Game's plea deal for punching a cop has a huge silver lining as far as he's concerned, and that's finally getting some time with a shrink.

Game tells us he was positive he'd be doing time for socking the off-duty officer -- so the 3 years probation and 26 anger management classes was a huge relief.

He's definitely got a glass half full mentality on the case, especially when he started talking about therapy, which he somehow managed to equate to getting braces.

7:31 PM PT -- NYPD officials tell TMZ Sports Oakley was arrested on 3 counts of misdemeanor assault. He is still in police custody.

Charles Oakley got into an ugly altercation in the stands during the first quarter of Wednesday night's Knicks game, and struck 2 security staffers ... one of them in the face, apparently.

Katherine Jackson is the victim of elder abuse at the hands of her nephew ... according to legal docs she just filed in Los Angeles.

Katherine just obtained a restraining order against Trent Lamar Jackson. In her papers she claims he is an "abusive con-man" who manipulated Mrs. Jackson for years so he could take control of her finances, stay rent-free in her guest house and estrange her from her kids.

She believes Trent was taking money from her accounts and says she has to hide in her closet so she can speak freely to her kids. Katherine says Rebbie and some of her other children are willing to testify against Trent.

Katherine also fears physical harm, saying, "Now that he knows his conduct will be revealed, she fears what he may do to her upon her return." She's currently in London visiting Janet.

The 86-year-old says she tried to fire Trent from his job as her nearly 6-figure driver on February 3, with the Sheriff present, but Trent took off just as deputies and her lawyer arrived.

Robin Thicke's lawyers went to court Wednesday to continue his battle over child custody, and got shut down by the judge.

Robin is currently limited to 3 visits a week with 6-year-old Julian ... Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a few hours each day, and only with a court-appointed monitor present.

Robin, we're told, was upset because he didn't get to visit with Julian last Friday, because the monitor pulled the plug after determining Julian didn't want the visit. The monitor also cut short Robin's visit on Saturday, when he took his son to Kids World.

Robin's lawyers asked the judge to allow him his visits without a court-appointed monitor. The judge rejected that request. Robin then asked that the court appoint a different monitor who could be more impartial, but the judge said no. And then Robin asked the judge to prohibit the monitor from changing or canceling the scheduled visits. Again, the judge gave the thumbs down.

Robin is currently prohibited from having contact with ex-wife Paula Patton or her mother, and aside from the scheduled weekly visits he can't have contact with Julian. The judge issued the restraining order last week after Paula made claims Robin was physically abusive to her and the child ... Robin has denied the allegations.

Rich Homie Quan's paying a big chunk of money to a security guard for allegedly socking him in the face and taking off in a speedboat ... even though he still denies the attack.

Quan settled the lawsuit for $60k on Tuesday. The bouncer's attorneys, Eric and Josh Hertz, tell TMZ ... "That's one expensive punch and hopefully it'll send a message -- to not just celebrities, but regular people -- you can't go around punching people."

As we previously reported ... the security guard at LIV nightclub in Miami claimed RHQ beat him senseless after he turned him away from a VIP entrance.

Tyga's got lawsuits on top of lawsuits to deal with ... the latest filed by a process server who got beat after handing him some legal docs.

You'll recall Tyga was served as he walked into his birthday party at The Penthouse nightclub in WeHo back in November. The server claims he was assaulted by Tyga's crew.

According to the suit ... the process server was "grabbed, yanked, pulled and choked" by someone in the rapper's entourage. Watch the video ... looks like he might have a case.

The process server claims Kylie's BF green lit the violence.

The suit calls Tyga a minor "celebrity" ... known more for his social life than his music. If the process server is that familiar, he probably also knows collecting from Tyga will be a bitch.

In-N-Out Burger is accusing a dry cleaner of pulling a double-double of sorts -- blatantly ripping off its famous logo.

The burger joint is suing In-N-Out Cleaners in Wichita, and one look at their signs makes it pretty obvious why. Other than the clever use of a clothes hanger, seems pretty dead-on to the naked eye.

In-N-Out Burger says angry consumers ratted out the dry cleaner on Facebook. According to the docs, one hungry customer thought In-N-Out was finally in town ... only to be disappointed.

This should be settled faster than it takes to throw down animal style fries and a Neopolitan shake.

Beyonce stole a famous recorded line from a dead New Orleans rapper and then sampled it in her song, "Formation," without permission ... according to a new lawsuit.

The estate of Anthony Barré -- aka Messy Mya -- just filed suit against Bey for allegedly using a small, but memorable, piece from his 2010 video "A 27 Piece Huh?" and sprinkling it into her hit song ... which has been certified gold.

Barré's estate claims Beyonce straight-up ripped the deceased artist's exact "I like that" phrase -- in his voice -- without permission ... and then went on to make millions off the track. Barré, a YouTube star, was shot and killed in 2010.

The estate goes on to claim they tried talking to Beyonce about the sample ... but says she blew them off.

Now, the estate is asking for more than $20,000,000 in back royalties and other damages for using some of his final recorded words.

The "Cash Me Ousside" girl caught someone inside an airplane Monday evening with a shot to the face ... and police ended up yanking her, her mother and another passenger off their plane ... TMZ has learned.

We've learned Danielle Bregoli and her mom were boarding a Spirit Airlines flight out of LAX last night ... when Mom got into a dispute with a female passenger. We're told Danielle's mother was struggling to put her carry-on bag in the overhead, because she's wearing a walking cast for an injured foot ... and the wait wasn't sitting well with the third party.

Danielle says the other woman put her hands on her mom's throat, and that's why she had to "cold-cock" the impatient passenger.

After Danielle uncorked the punch, the woman made a citizen's arrest. A short time later police arrived and took all 3 off the plane. We're told no one wanted to press charges so there were no arrests, and everyone involved decided their lawyers would handle it from here.

Jenni Rivera is getting dragged through the mud by a Univision TV series about her life, and it's all because her former manager's got loose lips ... according to a new lawsuit.

Jenni Rivera Enterprises filed the suit against Univision over "Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conoci" (for gringos that's "Her Name Was Dolores, the Jenn That I Knew") -- which started airing last month. JRE says the show is based on a tell-all book written by Pete Salgado ... who was Jenni's "on and off manager" for many years.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Salgado had signed a non-disclosure agreement with the late singer, and his collaboration with the weekly TV series' producers is a flagrant breach of that contract. JRE points out Univision promoted the series as a look at Jenni's life through Salgado's eyes.

JRE adds the show is filled with defamatory scenes about Jenni and her 5 children ... although it doesn't specify any scenes. It's suing for at least $10 million in damages.

The Game struck a plea deal that will keep him out of jail after punching an off-duty LAPD officer during a pickup basketball game.

Game pled no contest to misdemeanor battery and criminal threats ... and was sentenced to 3 years probation. He also got 120 days community service, 26 anger management classes and 180 days jail time ... which was suspended.

He'll now have to keep his nose clean for the 3 years or those 180 days in jail could come back to bite him.

You'll recall ... Game socked Onyebuchi Awaji during the March 2015 game in an L.A. gym.

A Nutribullet allegedly did what its name insinuates ... it shot like a bullet through a woman's hand, tearing it apart.

Wendy Littlefield claims in a new lawsuit she was blending canned tomatoes and beans when her NutriBullet 900 series exploded without warning, sending the blades spinning smack into her right hand. The pictures are super gnarly.

Wendy says she endured multiple surgeries but still lost feeling and use of 2 fingers. Wendy's attorneys at Abir Cohen Treyzon Salo, LLP, add this isn't an isolated incident ... they've filed similar lawsuits on behalf of at least 2 other consumers who claim they were injured by the product.

Now that he's been acquitted in his domestic violence case, Jason "Mayhem" Miller is focusing on his career ... telling TMZ Sports he WILL fight again -- and could possibly dabble in porn.

The 36-year-old was outside Mercado Muay Thai where he praised his fans for their support during the trial ... a trial which revealed some freaky-deeky details about his sex life in open court.

The founder of the hilarious game "Watch Yo Mouth" is on the attack after an impostor game started jacking his sales.

Joe Caiola is the mastermind of the OG game, where you attempt to talk to people with a cheek retractor firmly planted in your mouth ... this according to a new lawsuit. He says he got a trademark to protect his creation, fired up a website ... the whole shebang.

Imagine his dismay when he noticed another game on the market, called "Watch Ya' Mouth" ... which he says is almost identical. Even worse, Caiola says the people making the copycat game are shamelessly capitalizing on the success of his game, and cutting into his sales.

Caiola says he was inspired to make his game after seeing a movie -- presumably Melissa McCarthy's "The Boss," where she tries yakking with a cheek retractor. He's especially galled that the copycats told a story about how they created their game and then changed it to match his.

He's suing to put an end to the Johnny-come-lately game, and wants money to boot.

Anyone who thinks they can vandalize Donald Trump's Palm Beach estate because the prosecutor in town is a Democrat better think again.

Vandalism is clearly an issue. Someone already destroyed Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the sign at the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.

Dave Aronberg, the State Attorney who handles Palm Beach prosecutions, tells TMZ Trump's political leanings have no bearing on his decision to prosecute vandalism cases. Aronberg is ensconced in the Democratic Party, but says his job is to follow the law, and that is what he will do.

Aronberg says there's no room for political statements when it comes to vandalism. If anyone vandalizes Mar-a-Lago they will be treated just like anyone else that commits a crime.
