Katherine Jackson is in the middle of a brewing family war, but Jermaine Jackson says he's only getting involved out of concern for his mother's health.

We got Jermaine leaving a hearing in L.A. Wednesday for Katherine's elderly abuse case. As we reported, the Jackson matriarch is accusing her nephew, Trent Lamar Jackson, of being an "abusive con-man."

Jermaine told us he's siding with Mom over his cousin, but not for any financial windfall ... as Trent has claimed.

Katherine wasn't in court, and ultimately the hearing was postponed because of that. Trent's attorney says he's served a notice have Katherine deposed on March 15, but her attorney says she won't show for that either.

Rachel Dolezal -- the white former NAACP leader who believes she's black -- is doubling down with a legal name change to Nkechi Amare Diallo.

The 39-year-old filed to adopt the West African moniker in Washington State ... according to Daily Mail. Nkechi is short for Nkechinyere in the Nigerian language of Igbo, and translates to "gift of god."

Her new last name, Diallo, comes from the Fula people of West Africa and means "bold" ... which seems all too fitting for the artist formerly known as Rachel.

Nkechi maintains she still identifies as a black woman. Her baby boy's name already reflects that, and now hers does too.

Kodak Black is going to be a no-show for his upcoming tour dates because he's stuck in jail.

We're told Kodak's Wednesday night concert at the PlayStation Theater in NYC has been postponed, while both Thursday's Philly show and his Saturday gig in Connecticut have been outright canceled. We're told his concert Friday in Rochester is at least postponed and possibly canceled.

Part of the problem is ... promoters have no idea when he's getting out. Kodak was thrown back in jail Tuesday for violating his house arrest.

Chris Brown now has to stay away from his ex-GF Karrueche Tran's BFF too ... after the singer allegedly threatened to gun him down and sent gangsters after him.

Joseph Ryan La Cour says he's been on the receiving end of Chris' rage because he stands up for Karrueche while she fights to keep Chris away from her.

In docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Joseph says Chris has been saying things like, no matter where they go "he will find us and shoot the place up."

Joseph gets specific ... pointing to an incident at Diddy's Super Bowl party -- in the docs, he says Chris got in his face and said, "it's 2017 ... Ima f*** you up every time I see you so you better get the f*** out of here before I lay your ass out."

At the same party, Joseph says Chris threw a drink at one of his friends and told her, "Move bitch, we aren't friends." It was right around the time of that party when Chris posted a video vowing that if he couldn't have a woman he wanted, then no one could.

Joseph also claims Chris sent guys after him ... and believes they have gang ties because they threw around the word "blood."

Chris has been ordered not to harass Joseph and to stay at least a football field away.

Did you also know ... ex-NY Giants lineman Kareem McKenzie doesn't have his watch anymore because he claims one of the stars of the movie "Red Tails" straight JACKED his timepiece?!

It's all part of a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports in which the now-retired McKenzie says he loaned the watch to Kevin Phillips -- who played Leon "Neon" Edwards in the 2012 flick.

Long story short ... McKenzie says Kevin asked to borrow the watch for a film he was producing and promised to give it back after the shoot. McKenzie says he also loaned the guy $32,500 for film projects.

Problem is ... McKenzie says he never got the watch OR the money back -- instead, he claims Kevin concocted a bogus story about the watch being stolen by some thugs.

McKenzie says in reality Kevin sold the watch for $6,000 to a Hong Kong watch dealer and it's long gone.

McKenzie (a 2-time Super Bowl champ) says he's heartbroken because the watch has all sorts of sentimental value to him.

He's suing for his money back, plus the value of the watch plus damages.

Univision used Elmo, Cookie Monster and his pals to pull off a musical heist -- so claims a famous Puerto Rican singer who's suing the network.

Joel Bosh is best known as Taino -- who had the 90s hit, 'Yo Soy Boricua' -- and says Univision jacked that song to promote "Sesame Amigos" ... the Spanish version of "Sesame Street." He says the commercial ran in Puerto Rico.

In docs obtained by TMZ, Taino says he's very picky about letting anyone use his musical calling card. He gave boxer Felix "Tito" Trinidad and the Puerto Rican Day Parade in NYC the green light. Same for a Church's Chicken commercial, but that's about it.

To be clear, 'Sesame' producers are not named in the suit -- Taino just wants Univision to pay up.

Famed O.J. prosecutor Christopher Darden's unleashed a nasty string of expletives at his baby mama, according to her ... but Darden's calling BS.

Celia Smith -- who has a nasty history with Darden -- says he's been blasting her regularly ... including earlier this month when he fired off a scorching email, calling her a "dirty nasty low budget porn c*** stripper lot lizard prostitute." The email continued, "You suck and f*** d***s for the whole world to see."

The email came from someone other than Darden, but Smith believes he was using a fake email account. Smith filed docs attempting to get a restraining order against Darden, but the court shot her down -- saying there was no proof he was behind the colorful emails.

Christopher told us he fully denies sending the emails, and added he and his family are the ones getting harassed. He also says there's a Kardashian factor behind Smith's false claims against him.

Kodak Black is back behind bars for violating the terms of his house arrest and probation ... 3 months after he'd been released from lockup.

Kodak was booked into Broward County Jail Tuesday after a court hearing, where the judge found he violated a number of conditions of his probation.

Law enforcement sources tell us Kodak failed to complete an anger management program, and left his house without permission at least 2 times. We're told at least 1 of those trips was to a strip club.

Kodak walked out of jail back in December. He'd been serving time for drug and sexual conduct charges. The first single he dropped when he got out was, "There He Go." Should be quite the sing-along in jail tonight.

Cops are on the hunt for "Cash Me Ousside" girl Danielle Bregoli's friend, who got into a fight, captured on video.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ it needs the public's help to identify the black female in the photo ... released by the Sheriffs. TMZ broke the story ... the unidentified girl was seen in video slamming and punching another woman Saturday night in Lake Worth, FL.

The girl in Danielle's crew is allegedly the same one who threw ice cream at another lady earlier that night. We're told Danielle is cooperating with the cops in their search.

Johnny Manziel basically just trashed the NFL in open court -- telling the judge in his domestic violence case he doesn't always trust the league based on the way it's mistreated other players.

First, some background ...

One of the stipulations in Johnny's plea deal was to either participate in the NFL's substance abuse program OR go to rehab at a court approved location.

Johnny didn't tell the court which one he was choosing by the deadline and he addressed the judge in open court to explain himself Tuesday.

Manziel essentially blamed the whole thing on a miscommunication with the NFL -- and then went on to say the following:

"I don't necessarily always believe in what the NFL does and have a lot of trust with them based on past situations ... based on other players how they've gotten treated."

Manziel says working with the NFL and the NFL Players Association was a "slippery thing" for me ... but says he was ultimately able to get everything on track.

He added, "My life is trending upwards."

The judge ended the exchange by telling Manziel he's rooting for him in life -- but reminded him to focus on successfully completing his program.

"Gary from Chicago" -- the tourist who unknowingly crashed the Oscars with his fiancee -- was in prison as a third striker with a history of stealing ... TMZ has learned.

Gary Alan Coe -- who said he had been in jail for the last 20 years before Sunday night's award show -- was received by California Department of Corrections in 1994 for grand theft exceeding $400, and got locked up again in '97 for petty theft with priors ... and, because it was his third strike, it led to a sentence of 25 years to life with parole.

Law enforcement sources tell us he was resentenced in early 2017 under Proposition 36, and had his 25 year bid reduced to just 6. With pre-sentencing credits and time served ... he walked out a free man last Thursday.

One last detail ... Coe's attorney says he has a prior from 1975 for attempted rape when he was a teenager that required him to register as a sex offender ... but the 20 year sentence was for theft.

Johnny Manziel says he's doing all the RIGHT things in his domestic violence case -- telling the judge he's been getting the professional help he needs to get his life back in order.

The ex-NFL star appeared in a Dallas courtroom for a hearing in his 2016 domestic violence case involving ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley.

The judge called the hearing because he was concerned that Johnny may have gone off the rails -- but Manziel ultimately convinced the court he's still living up to his end of the bargain.

As we previously reported, Manziel agreed to get treatment for anger management and substance abuse ... and if he stays out of trouble for a year, the assault charge will be dropped.

Manziel arrived to court in a suit and tie and said all the right things -- the judge said he was pleased with his progress.

The judge also told Johnny he hopes the next time he's in court will be to sign the dismissal papers.

Outside of court, Manziel thanked his fans for sticking by him and told reporters, "I want to play football."

U2's "The Fly" is a total rip-off from a British songwriter ... according to the songwriter who's finally getting around to suing them for the 1991 hit.

Paul Rose -- a writer and guitarist with 12 solo albums of his own -- says Bono, Edge and the boys straight-up jacked the music for "The Fly" from his 1989 song "Nae Slappin."

In the docs, Rose says he recorded a demo and gave it to Island Records, which circulated it and repeatedly listened to in its offices. That same year, Island Records signed U2.

Rose thinks it's no coincidence "The Fly" -- the lead single from U2's "Achtung Baby" album -- features a guitar hook and solo nearly identical to the one in "Nae Slappin."

It's unclear why Rose waited 25 years to sue, but he wants $5 million in damages. The Dirty first reported it. Does he have a case? Take a listen ...

Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman David Parry was arrested in Scottsdale, AZ over the weekend after cops say he attacked a golf cart taxi driver, stole the vehicle ... and CRASHED IT.

It all went down around 2 AM on Saturday morning. The driver of the golf cart taxi (common in Scottsdale) told police he picked a group of people up from a bar and dropped them off another location.

But when it came time to pay, 6'2", 300 pound Parry allegedly struck him in the head and stole the cart.

Cops found the cart crashed into a gate nearby. Parry was located on the sidewalk ... and appeared drunk.

Parry -- who started every game for the Colts during his first 2 seasons in the league -- was arrested on suspicion of robbery, auto theft, criminal damage, resisting arrest and DUI.

Ralphie May's estranged wife says he's sexually abusive, suicidal, and so drug-addled he can't be alone with their kids ... according to court docs.

Lahna Turner claims Ralphie's gotten more aggressive and threatening recently in the fallout of their pending divorce ... due to frustration over monitored visits with their 2 kids.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Turner says he's been physically abusive, and it spread to the bedroom when they tried to reconcile in 2015. Turner says they were having sex, but after asking him to stop, he persisted and said, "You need to feel pain, bitch!"

She also claims Ralphie insults her, threatens to kill himself, abuses drugs ... in front of their 2 kids -- and she's afraid he'll take them out of the country without permission.

Turner requested a restraining order, which was only partially granted. The judge denied her request for Ralphie to stay 100 yards away, but he is barred from harassing her.

Jackie Warner's face was flush right after she was arrested for backing her vehicle into a cop car.

TMZ obtained the fitness queen's mug shot -- taken after the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. took her into custody Friday night in West Hollywood.

We broke the story ... Warner crashed her car into a pole. A deputy on scene had to jump out of the way when she allegedly threw her car into reverse without warning.
