Ominous sign for Lamar Odom's battle with drug addiction -- he scooped up a household cleaning product that doubles as a vital part of homemade crack pipes ... and TMZ has the photos.

Lamar and his driver walked out of a San Fernando Valley pharmacy on Tuesday with a bag full of items ... most notably ... Chore Boy copper scrubbing pads.

How commonly are the pads used for drug abuse? Type it into Google ... and "crack" is the first auto-fill topic besides the product name. Also, Forbes magazine wrote an article about its use as a filter in makeshift crack pipes.

Oh, and Urban Dictionary defines it like this: "Brand name of scouring pad used also by people smoking crack to retain some of the cocaine vapors."

As TMZ first told you, multiple people in Lamar's life -- like his estranged wife -- are saying he desperately needs to get in to rehab for many addictions, especially crack.

So, it's possible the NBA star had some kitchen cleaning to do, but we gotta ask ...

Oscar De La Hoya has just checked himself back into a rehab facility ... two years after completing a stint in treatment for cocaine and alcohol.

De La Hoya revealed the news in a statement to the media, explaining why he won't be ringside during the Mayweather vs. Canelo fight this weekend, one of the biggest fights ever put on by his Golden Boy Promotions company.

"I will not be at the fight this Saturday to cheer Canelo to victory since I have voluntarily admitted myself into a treatment facility," De La Hoya said.

"I explained this to Canelo and he understood that my health and longterm recovery from my disease must come first."

"Thank you for your understanding. I ask for your support and privacy during this difficult time for me and my family."

Oscar checked into rehab back in 2011 -- and in a previous interview said, "My drug of choice was cocaine and alcohol."

Lamar Odom says he's absolutely NOT a drug addict ... doesn't need professional help ... and is confident he'll play in the NBA next season.

He's wrong on all 3 counts.

33-year-old Odom went to Teru Sushi in Studio City last night ... and after taking some photos with fans, he finally addressed the media about drug issues in his life ... claiming everything is hunky-dory.

Problem is ... Odom is clearly in denial. As we've previously reported, just about everyone in his life -- personally and professionally -- knows about his battle with substance abuse, including his wife Khloe Kardashian.

In the last year alone, Lamar's been thrown out of hotels ... busted for DUI ... spent time in rehab ... and dropped from multiple NBA teams.

Still, Lamar insists ... "Life is good."

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino says his addiction to prescription painkillers began after suffering a neck injury on "Dancing with the Stars" back in 2010 ... and he's still battling to stay sober.

We broke the story ... Sitch checked into rehab back in March 2012 -- and after his people initially insisted the MTV star was just suffering from exhaustion, they eventually admitted he was hooked on opiates.

Now, 32-year-old Situation is talking about his battle with prescription drugs ... telling the AP his addiction was so bad, he could barely dress himself.

"All I had to do was get dressed for a family function and I couldn’t do that. The shirt was laid out, the belt, the pants, everything. The shower was on. I couldn’t even get out of bed."

Sitch says it was at that moment, he realized he had a problem -- "If I can’t [get dressed], how am I going to continue?”

The former "Jersey Shore" star says he's still taking medication for his injury -- but undergoes counseling to keep his addiction in check.

He's also a paid spokesman for the company that makes his pills -- and participates in a program that helps spread awareness about opiate prescription painkiller addictions.

Lamar Odom is getting a ton of support from fans in downtown L.A. ... where he kept up his strange nocturnal movements Monday night.

We spotted Lamar in his black track suit just after 10 PM in the the lobby of the apartment building where he's now living -- and he was posing for photos with several fans.

Lamar posed for photos with at least 3 fans -- including a middle-aged woman and her family -- before making an exit through the building's parking garage.

Lamar's been seen multiple times in the last few days wandering near the building late at night -- and sure isn't, outwardly anyway, acting like a guy in the grips of a serious crack addiction.

Not to mention being right on the verge of destroying his NBA career, and his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

Polina Polonsky was on TMZ Live -- we posted an excerpt where she described Lamar completely unraveling in her L.A. apartment this summer ... smoking crack and becoming paranoid.

Now here's the full monty ... Polina talks about how Lamar practically began behaving like a toddler while living with her -- and how Khloe eventually barged in to her apartment in the middle of the night like an "uncaged animal."

The lawyer who lived with Lamar Odom for 6 weeks in June and July tells TMZ ... Lamar was doing crack in her apartment.

Polina Polonsky is a criminal defense lawyer who met Lamar in the Spring at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. She told us on TMZ Live ... he was smoking crack and doing other drugs while he stayed with her ... but she says things really spun out-of-control when he moved out.

Polina tells us Lamar became paranoid while he lived with her ... taking the battery out of his phone because he felt he was being followed with the aid of a GPS device. He also covered the smoke detectors with paper towels.

Polina says Khloe Kardashian came banging on the door in July, barged in, took charge and took Lamar out. She received a text from Lamar shortly after he left, calling her a "groupie, junkie ... crack head." She says she knows it wasn't Lamar who sent the text ... it was Khloe.

It just keeps getting worse ... "That's So Raven" star Orlando Brown is behind bars, 2 weeks into a 180-day sentence ... in one of the craziest, most drawn-out DUI cases we've ever seen.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Brown was remanded into custody on August 23 following a hearing ... where he failed to show proof he completed court-ordered alcohol ed classes for his 2011 DUI arrest.

The only good news for Brown is L.A. County jails are way overcrowded -- so, he's expected to be released after only 27 days ... on September 19.

"Twilight" actor Bronson Pelletier has officially learned his lesson after drunkenly whipping out his junk and peeing in the middle of LAX -- finally completing his court-ordered alcohol ed classes ... TMZ has learned.

As we reported, Pelletier was sentenced to 44 classes following his public intoxication arrest for the pee incident in December 2012 (aka one of the greatest videos ever).

The classes -- designed to teach him the error of his drunk asshat ways -- were part of a plea deal Pelletier struck with prosecutors in exchange for no jail time.

Lamar Odom's crack cocaine addiction had reached such dangerous levels ... even his dealer thought the NBA star had gone over the edge, and cut off his supply last week, TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the dealer tell us, the crack slinger had delivered the drug to Lamar all summer, but last week, Lamar was insatiable ... calling incessantly and demanding more and more crack. His go-to dealer apparently got scared enough to cut Lamar off.

No surprise ... the dealer wasn't really concerned about Lamar's welfare. He was worried about his own ass -- scared Lamar could die and authorities would come down on him.

Lamar Odom just left an L.A. sushi restaurant with a friend ... where he ordered no sushi.

Lamar was there for lunch ... a very light lunch, consisting of a bowl of miso soup and 2 green teas.

Lamar barely touched the soup, and spent most of the time ignoring his friend while he chatted on his phone.

The staff tells TMZ ... Lamar was nice enough. The bill came to a whopping $7. Lamar plunked down a 20 and went on his not-so-merry way.

There are reports Lamar is getting outpatient treatment for his crack problem.

Scott Thorson -- Liberace's one-time boyfriend who was portrayed by Matt Damon in "Behind the Candelabra" -- is back in jail because of a dirty drug test .... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Thorson was popped for violating probation... after he FAILED a random drug test. Sources close to Scott tell TMZ he tested positive for meth ... a drug he's struggled with for years.

FYI -- Thorson had recently gotten out of the slammer for a burglary and identity theft conviction.

Thorson suffers from stage II colon cancer. Dennis Hof -- who runs the famous Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada -- has been helping Thorson and even got him out of jail recently so he could get proper medical treatment.

Lamar Odom fell deep into the world of hardcore drugs during a wild summer in Hollywood ... where he spent as much as $1,000 in a single day to fuel his growing addiction to crack -- according to sources familiar with the situation.

TMZ broke the story Lamar was hooked on crack -- but now we've learned just how bad it got in the last few months.

We're told Lamar's habit picked up speed when he moved out of his home with Khloe Kardashian, and into Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel with a friend in late May ... after the NBA season ended.

We're told the hotel room was used like a flop house ... where Lamar was surrounded by his pal and 7 or 8 other drug abusers -- strangers -- who came in and out of the room throughout the day and night ... for several months straight.

According to sources, Odom was dropping -- on average -- $800 per day, but sometimes more, for multiple drugs, including crack.

By the way, if $800 worth of crack sounds like a huge amount of drugs for one person ... it is. But we're told Lamar sometimes shared his huge score. Plus, drug dealers often charge rich customers premium prices.

As we first told you, Khloe kept Lamar's drug addiction secret for at least 2 years -- but after this summer she decided enough was enough ... telling him if he didn't get treatment, she would pull the plug on their marriage.

Justin Bieber's pal --and prolific music producer --Jason "Pooh Bear" Boyd is blasting reports insinuating he's involved in international cocaine smuggling and corrupting the Biebs.

Boyd tells TMZ ... he's NEVER been a drug seller in any "way, shape, form or fashion."

As for what Boyd was holding in the Instagram pic Justin posted Tuesday ... he's scoffing at reports that it's white powder. Boyd says it's actually a piece of FRUIT -- a slice of LIME.

And one more thing ... Photos surfaced this week showing Boyd with government officials in Suriname. One of the officials had a drug conviction. Boyd says it was all just a photo op connected to a Rick Ross rap concert in the country ... a concert he produced.

Justin Bieber may -- or may not -- have pulled a major stoner faux pas in Calabasas yesterday ... 'cause someone inside the singer's van dumped BONG WATER on the side of the road.

It's unclear WHOSE HAND is attached to the bong ... but we do know it's Bieber's ride. He's been toolin' around L.A. in the pimped out Mercedes party van all week long.

Here's what we know ... the bong dumper is definitely NOT Lil Za or Lil Twist ... 'cause, well ... the hand is white. Duh.

We're also told the van was en route to Jim Henson Studios ... and later that day, JB snapped a photo of himself inside a record studio.

Still, since there are no shots of the bong dumper's face ... it's impossible to tell if the perp is Bieber ... or one of Bieber's white friends.

Actually, does Bieber even have white friends anymore? Hmmmmm ...
