Bobby Shmurda 'Driving Force' in Murderous Gang Prosecutors Claim

Published | Updated

Rapper Bobby Shmurda was a "driving force" in a gang that committed murders and other violent crimes ... this according to NY prosecutors.

Prosecutors from the NYC Special Narcotics Office just released their indictment, claiming more than 15 defendants committed a variety of crimes, including murder, attempted murder, assault and drug dealing. Bobby himself was charged with conspiracy to commit murder but not the murder itself and a few other weapon and drug charges.

Bobby -- who at one time called himself "Two Socks Bobby" -- is charged with firing a gun at a group of people outside a barber shop. Prosecutors say "socks" is code for firearms.

According to the indictment, members of the gang used other code words, including "suntan," which means shooting someone.

The complaint says Bobby confessed to a fellow gang member, "You know I suntan him and shot, do issues, you know what's going on."

Prosecutors also say the ring dealt heavily in narcotics, with a pattern of violence that spread from Brooklyn to South Beach, Florida.

The D.A. says the violence was so prevalent, it turned Brooklyn into a shooting gallery.

Bobby pled not guilty to all charges Thursday in NYC. He's being held on $2 million bail.

Charlie Sheen Nitrous Oxide Made Me Do It!

Charlie Sheen could just attach a DVD of Steve Martin in "Little Shop of Horrors" to explain his defense in a lawsuit claiming he assaulted a dental technician ... because the actor blames it all on the gas.

Sheen just filed legal docs responding to a lawsuit filed by Margarita Palestino, who claims Charlie grabbed her boob and came at her with a knife in October as he sat in a dental chair.

She told cops Charlie's bodyguard claims the star was high on rock cocaine at the time ... something Charlie and his team vehemently deny. They say he was on meds for a shoulder injury and had an adverse reaction to the nitrous, causing him to flail around and accidentally knock over a tray of tools.

The new docs don't mention the shoulder meds but do say he had an adverse reaction to the gas.

Charlie's lawyer says the technician is not only making up stories ... she got fired because she violated HIPAA laws by telling her son Charlie was in the office.

Keyshia Cole 30-Day Jail Sentence Looms For Being Alcohol Ed Truant

Published | Updated

Keyshia Cole faces jail time over a DUI she got a decade ago ... and no one would have been the wiser had she not flown into a jealous rage in Birdman's condo.

Cole was in a L.A. County court this week ... trying to explain to a judge that a very old arrest warrant was a gigantic mistake. The warrant was issued in 2004, because Keyshia failed to submit proof to the judge that she completed her alcohol ed class after a 2002 DUI conviction.

Keyshia's lawyer tried explaining the singer completed the course, but the judge was unmoved. There was no paperwork to prove it, so the judge indicated he'd throw her in jail for 30 days.

But the judge also showed some mercy, telling Keyshia's lawyer he would let her skate if they could submit proof she finished the classes. A hearing is set for February.

Now here's the bitch. Authorities had no idea there was a warrant and probably wouldn't know, but when Keyshia was arrested in September for assaulting a woman in Birdman's condo, cops did a warrant check and ... bingo.

Boyfriends cause such trouble.

Bill Cosby Model Claims He Drugged Her During 'Cosby Show' Audition

Published | Updated

Iconic model Beverly Johnson claims Bill Cosby drugged her at his home in the mid-1980s -- and he used the lure of "The Cosby Show" to get her there.

According to Johnson -- who penned a first person account for Vanity Fair -- Cosby reached out to her for an audition for a role on his immensely popular show.

Johnson claims Cosby invited her to his NYC home twice to audition ... the first time there were others there, but the second she was alone with Coz. She says they ate a light dinner and when it came time to do the audition, she says Cosby wanted to see her to pretend she was drunk.

As she got ready, Johnson claims Cosby offered her a cappuccino and was overly insistent that she drink it. As Johnson explains, "I knew by the second sip of the drink Cosby had given me that I’d been drugged -- and drugged good."

Johnson says she became "woozy," her speech was slurred and "the room began to spin nonstop." But Johnson says she managed to get herself together enough to start screaming at him, repeatedly calling him a "motherf****r."

She says this seemed to anger him and he grabbed her by the arm, dragged her down the stairs and outside the brownstone, and threw her into a cab. Johnson claims she had no recollection of how she got home.

Johnson says she kept the story to herself for years because she thought it was something that only happened to her, but she decided to come forward because of all the accusations.

Jeezy Illegal Weapons Charges Dismissed Case Smelled Fishy

Published | Updated

Jeezy has scored legal vindication ... TMZ has learned weapons charges were dismissed this morning in court, and there's evidence this case was bogus from almost the beginning.

TMZ broke the story ... Jeezy and 5 others on his tour bus were arrested last August right before an Orange County concert. Cops found an AK-47 and a Glock on the bus and charged all 6 with felony possession of an illegal weapon.

Cops were on the hunt for a weapon that was used in a Northern California murder during a Wiz Khalifa concert a few days earlier ... a concert where Jeezy was the co-headliner.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Orange County D.A. made the motion to dismiss the charges. The judge agreed. Presumably the motion was based on new evidence, but TMZ has learned, authorities were well aware early on ... this case didn't hold water.

Here's what authorities knew:

-- The 2 guns were owned by Jeezy's security chief, who was not on the bus. He was in the hospital because he was shot the night before during the Suge Knight shooting at 1OAK in Hollywood.

-- Cops had inspected the guns 2 days before and determined they were NOT involved in the shooting at the Wiz Khalifa concert.

-- The security chief purchased the AK-47 legally in Georgia, but it's illegal to possess an AK-47 in California ... yet the security guard was not charged. Jeezy and the other 5 people on the bus who were charged weren't in direct proximity to the weapon when cops boarded the bus. The gun was in a case behind the security chief's bunk bed, and Jeezy was in a closed, separate cabin. We're told DNA results confirm none of the 6 people arrested even touched the weapon.

And it gets worse. Authorities held all 6 people on $1 MILLION bail, even though the recommended bail for that offense is $20K. All 6 defendants sat in jail for 4 days until they got the bail reduced.

All 6 had their money, jewelry, clothing and other personal items seized, even though it had nothing to do with the alleged offense.

Short story ... the guns that were seized were legally purchased ... the property of Jeezy's security chief, and authorities knew it.

We contacted Jeezy and asked if he felt there was profiling and he said, "I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence."

Jeezy adds, "I knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts. I'm relieved that the truth has prevailed."

The Neighbourhood Lead Singer Busted for Drugs

Published | Updated

The Neighbourhood's frontman Jesse Rutherford did the walk of shame through Newark Airport after being nabbed by the cops for drug possession.

According to police, Jesse had already passed through TSA last weekend when cops spotted him trying to ditch a bag of marijuana in the terminal's food court. But officers were hip to his game and he was SOL.

Rutherford was nabbed and booked for possession of a controlled substance ... but apparently it was a very small amount because cops describe it as a lower level offense.

The 23-year-old singer is now just five arrests shy of catching up to Motley Crüe's Vince Neil.

Rock 'n' roll.

VH1 Star, Rapper Murder-Suicide Ridiculous Amount of Weed Recovered

Published | Updated

There was so much weed in the house where a rapper shot his famous wife Monday in a murder-suicide, it required an armed guard to protect the stash as it was taken to a police lab.

Law enforcement tells TMZ it's a significant twist to the tragedy. We broke the story ... rapper Earl Hayes shot and killed his wife, VH1 star Stephanie Moseley, in the bathtub and then turned the gun on himself. This all happened as Floyd Mayweather listened on FaceTime as his friend repeatedly fired shots.

We're told cops found nearly 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana inside the L.A. apartment. It's an enormous amount of pot ... way more than for personal use. The estimated street value approaches $40K.

As we reported, Mayweather was riling Hayes up during the call, telling him he should divorce his wife because she was habitually unfaithful ... allegedly having flings with various singers and rappers including Trey Songz. Hayes flew into a rage, walked into the bathroom and began firing.

Charlie Sheen Settles with Brooke After Booze, Abuse Allegations

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen just settled the latest custody war with Brooke Mueller, who accused him of drunken visitations with his kids and excessive corporal punishment.

Mueller made various allegations and a court date was set for today ... but we've learned on Monday Charlie and Brooke agreed to monitored visitations.

Charlie settled, but we know he has serious beef with Mueller, saying her allegations are all part of a shakedown for cold, hard cash. He also thinks it's ridiculous that Brooke is alleging misdeeds around alcohol, because he claims the twins were born with "the ultimate child abuse" -- fetal alcohol syndrome.

We're told Brooke wanted to move out of California with the kids but Charlie objected. They settled on Brooke being allowed to move within a 50-mile radius of his house.

Charlie also says ... if he's such a horrible father, how is it that he's a good father to his other kids (photo below with Charlie, Denise and the girls).

'The Fosters' Star Jake T. Austin Beats Hit and Run Rap

Published | Updated

"The Fosters" star Jake T. Austin was found NOT GUILTY in his criminal hit and run case ... and he didn't even have to show up in court.

Austin was charged with hitting 3 parked cars in November 2013, and then fleeing the scene. Witnesses say before leaving they saw him chuck a Ciroc vodka bottle out of the car and order an Uber to leave before cops arrived.

But the judge who heard the case concluded even though he fled he reported the incident to cops within a reasonable time.

Translation -- IF he was drinking, he couldn't be charged with DUI because cops never encountered him and by reporting the accident he protected himself from a hit and run conviction.

Wonder if Uber was his first or second call after the crash.
