It's not all sunshine for Amanda. She's now the mother of 2 who is waging legal war with Pauly over custody of 5-month-old Amabella.

Pauly D and his baby mama are at war, TMZ has learned ... and there's a big fight over custody and cash.

Sources connected to the baby mama and baby daddy tell TMZ ... Pauly doesn't think the woman is a fit mother -- he points to the fact that she once worked at Hooters. He's also concerned because the woman, who's only 25 years old, has another kid.

Pauly and the woman, who goes by Amanda, have filed dueling court docs. We're told Pauly wants some sort of custody of his daughter -- but the level of custody is unclear. Sources say Pauly has not seen the child, who was born in May, but obviously he's looking to change that.

We're also told the baby mama is demanding child support ... and even though Pauly says he's ready and willing to step up and take care of the kid financially ... he feels like she's treating the kid like a winning lottery ticket. Exhibit A ... the woman recently posed the baby in a high chair that's covered in $100 bills.

As for how they hooked up, we're told it was one drunken night in Vegas ... but the kid isn't bringing them any closer. In fact, one source tells us they straight up hate each other.

Meet the new princess of Jersey ... Pauly D's 5-month-old baby girl, Amabella.

We broke the story ... Pauly D hooked up with a chick he met in Vegas in the Fall, 2012 ... and this is what happened.

Pauly has already taken a DNA test which pretty much conclusively proved he's the daddy ... so Maury, stand down.

As for the name ... we're told Amabella means lovable in French.

She was born on May 15 and, based on the pic obtained by TMZ, already needs a haircut ... just like her daddy.

Pauly D's bloodline will live on, because he has a little girl crawling around -- near the Jersey Shore ... TMZ has learned.

Here's what we know ... The mother is 25, born in Jersey but she met Pauly in Vegas last year. We're told they hooked up while he was DJing in Sin City.

The baby is a few months old, living with her mom.

The mom has filed court docs in New Jersey to formally establish paternity, but we've learned Pauly has already taken a DNA test and he's the dad.

Pauly tells TMZ, "I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

If New Jersey had a baseball team, it should be called "THE LOSERS," this according to Snooki ... talk about biting the hand that fed ya.

It's pretty shocking, considering the MTV star spent several years in NJ ... where she lived, boozed and shot her reality show.

But right after she made the comment on the way out of Boa Steakhouse in L.A., the backtracking began ...

Snooks insisted the comment was NOT made to be a shot at Jersey on the whole, but more of a shot at HERSELF and the "Jersey Shore" cast, because "we were all turds back then."

10:03 AM PDT -- JWoww just took to Twitter to explain herself and apologize -- sorta. She says she was caught off guard when she made her comments. But she still calls Christie "disgusting and judgmental" for his views on gay marriage. She apologized for her earlier choice of words .. but not for how she feels about the Gov.

Chris Christie is "retarded" ... so says Jwoww who (along with Snooki) is clearly still feuding with the Jersey governor after a nasty run in with the guy earlier this year.

The Jersey gals were leaving Boa Steakhouse on the Sunset Strip last night when we brought up CC -- and that's when the smacktalk began.

"He's a disgrace to New Jersey," Jwoww said ... adding, "Just like we were."

The two sides have been beefin' for a while (Chris doesn't like the show, the girls don't understand why) ... and it all came to a head back in May during an encounter on the Jersey Shore.

At the time, Snooki told Christie, "I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us.”

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino says his addiction to prescription painkillers began after suffering a neck injury on "Dancing with the Stars" back in 2010 ... and he's still battling to stay sober.

We broke the story ... Sitch checked into rehab back in March 2012 -- and after his people initially insisted the MTV star was just suffering from exhaustion, they eventually admitted he was hooked on opiates.

Now, 32-year-old Situation is talking about his battle with prescription drugs ... telling the AP his addiction was so bad, he could barely dress himself.

"All I had to do was get dressed for a family function and I couldn’t do that. The shirt was laid out, the belt, the pants, everything. The shower was on. I couldn’t even get out of bed."

Sitch says it was at that moment, he realized he had a problem -- "If I can’t [get dressed], how am I going to continue?”

The former "Jersey Shore" star says he's still taking medication for his injury -- but undergoes counseling to keep his addiction in check.

He's also a paid spokesman for the company that makes his pills -- and participates in a program that helps spread awareness about opiate prescription painkiller addictions.

Paris Hilton may be climbing in the DJ world ... but there's one honor she has yet to receive -- the Skrillex stamp of approval.

Skrillex -- one of the biggest DJs on the planet -- was rollin' through JFK this weekend when we asked if he thought PH had legitimate talent behind the turntables, since she just signed a big DJ contract with a famous nightclub in Ibiza.

But the 25-year-old electronic music phenom behind the megahit "Bangerang" told us he couldn't sign off on Paris' skills, 'cause he's never seen her play. Same goes for Pauly D.

Snooki's out for blood ... claiming a rival perfume company jacked her trademark scent ... and she wants at least $2.4 million to call it even.

Snooki has filed a lawsuit against Excell Brands in New Jersey, claiming its perfume called "Snazzy" is a blatant rip-off her of her official fragrance called "Snooki."

The former "Jersey Shore" star says Snazzy is so shameless about its trademark infringement, it even says so on the box ... calling itself "our version of Snooki by Nicole Polizzi." She's not lying.

Here's what we know ... the Anti-Semitic mystery hacker took over JWoww's page on Sunday night -- changed her Twitter avatar to a swastika -- and then gave out several private numbers to all of JWoww's 3.3 MILLION followers.

Among the released numbers -- Snooki, Pauly D, Deena and Perez Hilton.

We're told the Snooks, Pauly and Deena have already changed their numbers in the wake of the hack -- we're guessing Perez probably followed suit.

JWoww has since regained control of her Twitter page -- and got rid of the Nazi symbol. The identity of the hacker is still unknown.

Well this is surprising ... "Jersey Shore" star Pauly D actually supports a New Jersey town's war on saggy pants -- telling TMZ, "I'm not trying to look at guys' asses going down the street."

As we reported, several big rappers -- including The Game -- have spoken out against the City of Wildwood's recent ban on saggy pants along its boardwalks, claiming it's a racist law that targets black people.

But Pauly D doesn't think so ... saying, "Put a belt on!"

Snooki says she lost her virginity at age 14 ... because she was bored ... and says the guy who took her V-card was a total jerk.

The "Jersey Shore" star spilled her guts during an interview with YourTango.com ... explaining, "I was 14. I mean, in upstate New York there's really nothing to do up there but experiment."

She continued, "He was a senior, and I thought he liked me but turned out he was just a jerk. So, it was terrible."

Snooki never names the guy ... but in previous interviews she's torn him apart -- saying, "I definitely regret my first time. It sucked."

Gov. Chris Christie hates Snooki more than Snooki hates sobriety ... so says the MTV star ... and it couldn't have been more apparent during an awkward encounter in NJ moments ago.

Christie and Snooki came face-to-face on the Seaside Heights boardwalk after taping separate segments for the "Today" show.

During the exchange, Snooki complains that Christie is standing too close to her ... so Christie comically leans in even closer.

After Christie extended a handshake to the "Jersey Shore" star -- who was flanked by JWoww and Deena Cortese -- Snook tells CC, "I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us.”

As Snooki walks away, she pulls the "I hate your guts" face ... it's classic.

After the encounter, Snook tweeted a photo of the meeting -- and wrote, "Getting told why we are bad for jersey. Amazing."

Ronnie from "Jersey Shore" just survived something more painful than a summer with Snooki -- 10 agonizing days in the hospital with kidney stones ... TMZ has learned.

Sources in Ronnie Magro's camp tell us the 27-year-old got out of a Florida hospital Wednesday after undergoing two surgeries to treat kidney stones ... and more.

Ronnie initially went in for the stones, but we're told docs discovered he was born with a hereditary disorder that's also fouling up his kidney function.

Doctors still haven't cleared Ronnie to fly -- so he's stuck in FL for the time being.

It's T-Shiiiiiiiiiirt time -- or at least it will be soon -- because Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is back in front of reality TV cameras.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... the "Jersey Shore" star -- who has alluded to getting his own reality show -- has already started shooting. We're told the show centers around Sitch AND other members of the Sorrentino clan ... living it up in the NJ burbs.

It's unclear if a network is attached yet ... BUT we're told the house Sitch is renting during production is right next door to the place where Snooki and JWoww taped their spin-off.
