GOT MY HEAD IN THE GAME

Bart Johnson, who played Zac Efron's dad in "High School Musical" says a recent vid of fans freaking out over spotting him is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his life after 'HSM.'

Johnson says he was out running in Burbank last week when the fans started yelling for him -- so, naturally, he busted out the famous catchphrase. Johnson tells us run-ins like this happen all the time ... even though it's been more than 10 years since the first 'HSM' flick debuted.

Bart says the craze is even international ... as he learned in a small town in Sicily.

THAT'S LIFE

With soccer superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting his walking papers from Manchester United, we asked famed soccer fan (and ex-player) Vinnie Jones if he had any thoughts for the guy.

"Sh*t happens," he told us.

Then Jones proceeded to fat shame our camera guy.

(Don't worry, our guy is tough. He can take it.)

FYI, before Jones became a big Hollywood star in movies like "Snatch" and "X-Men: The Last Stand" -- he played pro soccer ... and even had a stint on the Wales national team.

As for Zlatan, he was released by the club after 1 season in which he badly injured his right knee. He's still recovering.

Glenne Headly, who starred in huge movies and TV shows -- like "Dick Tracy," "Monk," "ER" and "The Night Of" -- died Thursday night ... according to her reps.

Glenne's rep says, "It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of Glenne Headly." The rep did not say anything about her cause of death. Glenne was 62.

The beloved actress had her breakout movie roles back in the '80s in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and also played Tess Trueheart in "Dick Tracy." She was also co-starred with Richard Dreyfuss in "Mr. Holland's Opus."

Lady Gaga Orange You Glad To See Me?

Published | Updated

Lady Gaga knows how to stick out -- at events, concerts and now ... on her film set, where her orange hair was hard to miss.

The usually blonde Gaga went carrot top on the "A Star Is Born" set this week. The Bradley Cooper-directed film was shooting Wednesday in L.A. ... and the ginger look is something new for the remake.

Gaga's role was previously played by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, neither of whom went red.

We looked ... Gaga's had orange hair before, so nothing new for her. Just a regular day at the office.

Diddy & Suge Knight See Eye to Eye ... On 'All Eyez on Me'

Published | Updated

Diddy and Suge Knight will not reignite the East Coast-West Coast war over the new Tupac biopic -- in fact, Death Row and Bad Boy finally agree on something.

Production sources on "All Eyez on Me" tell us ... producer L.T. Hutton reached out to both moguls about how they're portrayed in the film, and to get their thoughts on the story. We're told Diddy loved it so much he gave his blessing for Biggie's "Who Shot Ya?" to be used on the soundtrack.

We're told Suge wasn't able to watch the movie due to his situation -- sitting in jail awaiting trial for murder -- but lawyers did, and described it to him. Suge gave it his stamp of approval, mostly because he goes way back with Hutton and trusts him.

Think about it ... if Diddy signs off on a movie that includes "Hit 'Em Up," it's gotta be good! Right?

Dave Bautista Homophobes Can 'Suck My Balls'

Published | Updated

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista says he's the "proud son of a lesbian" -- and invites anyone who has a problem with that to "suck my balls."

The ex-WWE superstar has a been a warrior for LGBTQ rights -- and really, equality all around (see his response to the LeBron James vandalism). And when a fan on Twitter thanked him for his support, Drax the Destroyer came with the best response ever.

"Obviously no thnx necessary but I appreciate the acknowledgement. Proud son of a lesbian and anyone who has issue w/ that can suck my balls."

Bautista has talked about his mother before -- most memorably when Manny Pacquiao compared LGBTQ people to animals.

"My mom happens to be a lesbian so I don't f**king take that sh*t," Dave told us last year ... "If anyone called my mother an animal I'd stick my foot in his ass."

Val was rocking a "Cool As Ice" tee while taking a selfie -- a well-timed shout-out to his "Top Gun" character ... since Tom Cruise just announced he's doing the sequel, "Top Gun: Maverick."

Iceman hasn't been shy about wanting to reprise his role. Back in May he posted another selfie saying, "I'm ready Tom- still got my top gun plaque! Still got the moves! Still got it!"

Gotta have a wingman, Tom! Just sayin' ...

Morgan Spurlock Reality 'Leaking' Isn't Treason ... It Would Be a Great Doc!

Published | Updated

Morgan Spurlock is applauding Reality Winner for "stepping up" to help Americans get closer to the truth ... even though she's been charged with leaking a classified NSA document.

We got the "Super Size Me" filmmaker at LAX, and he was very candid about Winner's arrest. He stopped short of calling it BS, but said he thinks government whistleblowers are a necessity these days ... especially if it relates to Russia.

As for what happens to Winner going forward -- Morgan will be keeping a close eye, because he'd love to tag-team with an Oscar-winning documentarian to tell her story.

James Corden did the most British thing ever -- besides high tea with the Queen -- when he dressed up as Mary Poppins and paraded across a London street singing her greatest hits.

Corden's late night show is shooting a few episodes across the pond to air next week. He has a recurring sketch called Crosswalk the Musical where he dresses up and sings in the middle of crosswalks. He's done it before with "Beauty and the Beast."

No detail was left out for James' Mary Poppins bit ... Julie Andrews would be proud.

Regina King Making Cinderella Hip Hopera With Rap Legend

"American Crime" actress Regina King and legendary Brooklyn rapper, Dana Dane are turning Cinderella into a dude with a whole lotta swag for a movie adaptation of Dane's 1987 hit "Cinderfella."

We're told the script is complete and the two are shopping around for actors. There's talk Ice Cube might hop onto the project.

"Cinderfella" was one of Dana's biggest hits ... the lyrics puts the Cinderella story in the hood. Instead of a fairy godmother, Dana rapped about his fairy godfather, Hurb, and instead of glass slippers, Cinderfella shows up to the party in a pair of brand spanking new Ballys ... one of which gets left behind.

King already has a good track record with Cinderella flicks. She starred in the remake "A Cinderella Story" which was a hit at the box office.

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' Bringin' Bougie Back ... With Holly Golightly Gear

Published | Updated

Holly Golightly, Hollywood's first rom-com queen, is about to make a huge comeback in the marketing and merch world ... or at least, that's the plan.

The "Breakfast at Tiffany's" character, famously played by Audrey Hepburn in 1961, has had a pop culture resurgence lately ... thanks, in part, to a key scene in HBO's "Big Little Lies" -- and Paramount, the studio behind 'Breakfast,' is ready to cash in.

The studio filed legal docs to secure "Holly Golightly" for use on purses, parasols, gloves, coats and a bunch of other bougie gear.

Rest easy, cinefiles -- Paramount's rep tells us the trademark filing is purely about making dough off merchandise, and there are NO plans to reboot the classic.

See, Hollywood makes good decisions too.
