According to law enforcement sources, the singer was stopped at a DUI checkpoint near the Marina Del Rey section of L.A. when officers detected alcohol. We're told Evans was then arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.

TMZ has learned ... the suspended JetBlue flight attendant's bike was stolen from his home in Belle Harbor in Queens, New York.

We're told Stevie chained his bike up at around midnight and discovered it missing when he woke up.

The front passenger wheel area is a total mess -- with serious cosmetic and functional tire damage ... which is why the car had to be towed from the scene.

As we first reported, Ice-T was pulled over on July 20 in New York City for allegedly not wearing a seat belt, and was then arrested after the computer discovered an "insurance lapse" from 2008.

But today, the case was dismissed after prosecutors decided to back down ... after Ice proved that he had insurance the entire time -- and also showed that the DMV did not properly update its records.

Yesterday, Kim rolled up to the Madison clothing store in Beverly Hills with some serious scrapes on the front of her ride ... and warned the valet parker, "It's gonna make a noise when you drive."

Sources close to Kim tell us it happened when Kim "hit a speed bump too hard" ... which screwed up a custom Platinum Motorsports kit she had installed on the front of the car.

Sources tell TMZ it happened at 8:35 PM in Malibu. Gibson, we're told, lost control of his car and ended up striking the rocky hillside on Malibu Canyon Road.

Gibson was driving a 2008 Maserati, which had to be towed from the scene.

Hours before the crash -- photogs shot footage of Gibson driving the Maserati around Malibu (see video above).

According to the CHP report, obtained by TMZ, "For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside. He stopped his car at the scene and was contacted by officers from the West Valley CHP Area."

CHP Public Information Officer Leland Tang tells TMZ ... "Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside." Tang said his officers followed up by asking Gibson if he was on a cell phone and he said no. Tang adds officers also asked Gibson if he had dozed off "but he did not give a firm 'yes' or 'no'." Gibson just repeated several times, "I don't know how the car left the roadway."

The report goes on, "Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement, and received a ride home from a friend."

Gibson was not hurt.

According to the report, "DUI is not suspected in the accident."

UPDATE: As for the curious statement in the report ... "For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside." Tang tells TMZ his department was in no way trying to insinuate Gibson did it intentionally. Tang says, "It was totally an unintentional act." And Tang says no citation was issued and no charges will be filed.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Alba was pulled over for speeding this AM in Beverly Hills -- and during the stop, we're told Alba blamed her lead foot on the nearby paparazzi.

TMZ has learned Julia was driving home from an event in New Jersey when, according to the police report, witnesses say she was "all over the road" and eventually "swerved across the centerline."

King -- who was driving alone -- smashed head-on into a car containing a family of four driving home from a fireworks display.

According to the police report, "All occupants of both vehicles sustained injuries" ... and we're told several members of the family were in very serious condition.

We're told the man in the passenger seat was trapped in the vehicle and rescuers needed the Jaws of Life to remove him. That man is currently in a wheelchair with unspecified injuries.

Law enforcement sources tell us no arrests were made on the day of the crash -- but investigators are currently looking into the incident.

As TMZ first reported -- Rodman was riding shotgun in a Range Rover while traveling down I-95 in Fort Lauderdale, FL when the Range busted a tire and flipped three times.

It all went down at around 1:50 AM in Santa Barbara -- where Tila was pulled over while driving a brand new, bright blue, $250,000 Lamborghini.

Unlucky for Tila, some bigmouthed bystanders recorded themselves as they shouted back and forth with the starlet -- heckling her about everything from crappy driving ... to Shawne Merriman ... and much, much more.

Last night, Ice told us the whole thing is pure BS -- and that the computer reading was the result of an error made by either the DMV or his insurance company.

TMZ spoke with Chris Spradley -- one of the culinary competitors on Ramsay's upcoming show "MasterChef" -- who tells us dude was driving home from the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip last week when some dumbass in a minivan blew a stop sign ... and the two vehicles collided.

Spradley -- creator of a beer cheese soup that Chef Ramsay considers "the most disgusting f**king soup I've ever tasted in my life" -- suffered injuries to his ribs and ankle ... but nothing life threatening.

It appears Ashton's car took some minor damage to the front bumper of his Lexus LS600 -- but the other car was smashed up pretty good.

Metro police believe he was unfit to drive, though they did not say if he was driving under the influence.

And it's not the first run-in between Michael and an inanimate object. Last year he was detained by cops after his old banger hit a tractor-trailer. And in 2007, his license was suspended after Michael pled guilty to driving on drugs.
