TMZ TV Recap Taylor Slams Alwyn Inadvertently ... Billie Hates TikTok, Breece Hall Airport

Published | Updated

We're starting off the week strong at TMZ -- but not nearly as strong as our TV segments.

TMZ Live

Kicking things off on 'TMZ Live,' Harvey and Charlie tackled what amounted to a fairly startling confession from Taylor Swift in Australia this past weekend ... namely, that she was apparently "lonely" while she was dating Joe Alwyn during the pandemic.

The admission came out during a performance, and she made it clear ... she was just with her cat during those years, which is ... alarming to say the least.

TMZ on TV

On 'TMZ on TV,' the gang talked about Billie Eilish throwing shade at TikTokers who attended the People's Choice Awards ... apparently with the feeling of, they ain't really A-listers, y'all.

Her remarks got caught on camera ... and it wasn't well-received by all the young'ns.

TMZ Sports

Finally, on 'TMZ Sports, Babcock and Mojo discussed Breece Hall's unpleasant airport run-in.

Actress Cocoa Brown Georgia House Burns Down ... GoFundMe Started for Help

Published | Updated

Cocoa Brown's home burned down in a devastating fire this week -- and her friends are now coming together to help her out ... understandable when you see the extent of the damage.

The actress/comedian -- famous from "For Better or Worse," and lots of other shows and movies -- suffered a massive blow Sunday when flames overtook her entire property in Fayetteville, GA ... where she lives with her young son, Phoenix.

In terms of how this even happened, sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Cocoa believes a lit candle may have fallen into some clothes in the house -- and by the time the fire alarm went off ... CB ran to the room, but it was quickly becoming an inferno.

We're told Cocoa tried her best to put out the fire with an extinguisher she had on hand -- but the fire started overtaking the whole house ... and she had to escape while she could.

Our sources say Cocoa was able to get her kid and her pets ... and they fled the home with nothing but the clothes on their backs -- and we're told they're lucky they made it out OK.

In the aftermath ... Cocoa's loved ones have started a GoFundMe for her -- with a goal of $50,000 -- and so far, a lot of people have come out to support her during this trying time.

Cocoa is a working actress and comedian, and while she has worked A LOT -- with over 60 acting credits to her name, plus a ton of comedy specials as well -- having your house go up in flames and it becoming as damaged as it clearly did here is a major setback for her.

As the GFM rightly notes ... "Cocoa Brown has brought laughter and light to countless lives with her talent and humor. Now, it's our turn to rally around her and show our support in her time of need. Together, let's shine a beacon of hope and happiness in this time of darkness."

Here's hoping she can get back on her feet soon. 🙏

UFC's Merab Dvalishvili Zuck Told Me He Was Coming To My Fight ... Hoping To Train Together In The Future!

Published | Updated

UFC fans might've been shocked to see Mark Zuckerberg Octagon-side at UFC 298, but Merab Dvalishvili wasn't ... 'cause the Facebook founder shot the star bantamweight fighter a text a few days before telling him he'd be in the building for the event!

One of the most memorable moments of the entire card was Merab picking up opponent Henry Cejudo and slamming him to the canvas near where Zuck was sitting, before engaging in a conversation with the billionaire.

TMZ Sports asked the 33-year-old contender about Mark's presence.

"We are following each other on Instagram, and he did text me before the fight that he was coming. He told me 'Don't tell no one.' I can keep a secret, of course," Dvalishvili told us, adding, "I knew he was there, and once I was walking out I saw him, of course, I said hello to him in person."

Although Zuck wasn't technically Merab's corner like he (momentarily) was for Alex Volkanovski, that's not to say Mark didn't share some of his BJJ expertise.

"I had a 4th corner that night. [Zuck] was giving me some tips when I was fighting," Merab said with a laugh.

Remember, Zuck has trained with the likes of Volk, Israel Adesanya, Mikey Musumeci and other top fighters.

Dvalishvili also revealed he was supposed to train with Zuckerberg before the FB exec injured his ACL last year. The men plan to get together once MZ's healed up.

Billionaire tech geniuses aside, there's a bunch more with Merab ... who many fans assume will get the next crack at a title after "Suga" Sean O'Malley and Marlon "Chito" Vera fight at UFC 299 next month.

We asked Merab if the UFC has informed him that he will fight the winner. Merab also tells us who he would prefer to fight, and why.

As for his 298 opp, we also asked Dvalishvili if 37-year-old Cejudo should retire after his second straight defeat.

His answer may surprise you!

Matthew Perry Fans Bash BAFTA Awards For Ignoring Actor ... Show's Executives Respond

Published | Updated

Fans of Matthew Perry slammed the BAFTA Awards over their perceived snub of the late actor, prompting the show's executives to respond to all the backlash.

The fury began Sunday night after the 2024 British Academy Film Awards aired a four-minute In Memoriam segment showing images of actors who passed away over the last year, including Carl Weathers, Tina Turner, Chaim Topol, Michael Gambon and Richard Roundtree.

As the photos flashed on screen, actress Hannah Waddingham performed onstage, singing a rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time."

It was a wonderful celebration of these famous and talented people ... the only problem was Perry was not among those honored.

His fans were upset, expressing their frustrations on the social media app, X.

One person fumed, “No mention of Matthew Perry in the #BAFTAs memorial?! Bad form."

Another wrote, "Hannah Waddingham's voice is so beautiful. It's a shame BAFTA left Matthew Perry off the list though."

A third grumbled, "No Matthew Perry in the #BAFTAs memorium?? Feels a tad disrespectful. Did they just forget?"

Other Perry supporters noted the actor was not just known for his role on the TV sitcom, "Friends," but he also had a long and successful movie career.

BAFTA senior execs responded to one angry X user, writing, “Matthew Perry will be remembered in this year’s TV Awards ceremony.” They also attached a link to Perry's tribute on the BAFTA website, highlighting his TV and film work.

TMZ broke the story ... Perry's assistant found his body last October floating in a hot tub at his L.A. area home. The coroner performed an autopsy, concluding Perry died from the "acute effects of ketamine," an anesthetic used to treat depression. Drowning was listed on the autopsy report as a secondary cause of death.

Perry was 54.

Kevin Costner Divorce Rife w/ Claims of Infidelity ... On 'Yellowstone' & Montecito

Published | Updated

Kevin Costner's divorce was as ugly as they come -- and much of it had to do with claims of infidelity on both sides ... something denied by all sides and featured in a new 'TMZ Investigates.'

The A-lister's split from his wife, Christine Baumgartner, kickstarted with unfounded rumors of KC impregnating someone on the set of "Yellowstone"  -- something we dive into in detail in a new documentary airing Monday on FOX, 'Kevin Costner's Divorce War.'

Now, when it comes to CB herself -- there were rumblings of alleged cheating as well ... on two different fronts, actually. There was a guy who was staying in their guest house -- whom she was alleged to have slept with -- he shut that down, saying it never happened.

There was also Josh Connor ... a friend of Kevin and Christine who -- as soon as they were in the midst of divorce -- started to hang out a lot with Christine on vacations. Again, sources connected to both of them say there was absolutely nothing romantic going on before or during the divorce.

"TMZ Investigates: Kevin Costner's Divorce War" airs Monday at 9/8c on Fox and starts streaming the next day on Hulu.

Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested For Alleged DUI

Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested for a suspected DUI ... TMZ has confirmed.

Online records show Bryan, 42, was booked by La Quinta Police early Saturday morning for driving under the influence with three or more priors. He was also booked for contempt of court, a misdemeanor.

A spokesperson for the La Quinta Sheriff's Department tells TMZ ... cops conducted a traffic stop just after 2 AM after they saw a vehicle they suspected of being involved in a traffic collision.

The officers say they spoke to the driver -- later identified as Bryan -- who allegedly showed signs of impairment leading to his arrest. Bryan's next court date is set for April 23.

This marks just the latest in a long string of legal issues Bryan's faced over the last few years. ZTB was arrested back in 2020 for allegedly strangling his then-girlfriend ... he pled guilty the following year to menacing and assault in the fourth degree.

And, just last year, Zachery was arrested last summer after police got a call about a dispute between a male and female.

Danny Masterson Transferred From 'Manson' Prison ... To Nicer Digs Behind Bars

Danny Masterson caught a break behind bars ... getting transferred from one of California's worst prisons to a more humane detention facility.

The actor, who famously starred in "That 70's Show," was moved out of Corcoran State Prison in Corcoran to the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo.

Masterson's relocation will likely have a positive impact on his life.

CMC is a medium to minimum security prison with two separate housing facilities, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation website.

Masterson is locked up in either East Facility or West Facility, both of which offer self-help and academic programs to teach inmates vocational and other skills. Substance abuse counseling, mental health treatment and anger management courses are also available to prisoners.

The conditions are certainly a step up from where Danny was before.

Corcoran – a maximum security penitentiary -- was once home to the late Charles Manson – and currently houses some of the state's deadliest offenders. In 2017, Manson died from acute cardiac arrest and colon cancer while serving a life term for the notorious Tate-LaBianca murders.

As you know ... Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison after his 2023 Los Angeles conviction on 2 counts of forcible rape.

John Wayne Gacy HERMANA DE LA VÍCTIMA CRITICA LA NUEVA SERIE ¿Por qué desenterrar un pasado doloroso?

Published

JOHN WAYNE GACY VICTIM'S SISTER BLASTS NEW SERIES Why Dredge Up Sad Past?!

Published

John Wayne Gacy, the notorious "Killer Clown," is set to be the subject of a new Peacock limited series -- news announced this week that's appalled one of his victims' family members.

Lorie Sisterman, sister of James Haakenson, who was identified as Gacy's 24th victim in 2017, 40 years after he went missing, tells TMZ she's not supportive of the project in any way, shape, or form ... and doesn't understand the need to rehash old wounds and drudge up a hurtful past.

To add insult to injury, she tells us no one reached out to her about the scripted series ... which is based on Peacock's 2021 docuseries "John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise."

Lorie reiterates the series should be off-limits 'cause there are people alive who are still grieving over Gacy's actions. You'll remember ... he was executed in '94 after being convicted of murdering 33 young men and boys during the '70s, burying most bodies under his Chicago-area home.

Among those grieving are members of Gacy's family ... and Lorie notes the new series isn't fair to them either -- especially for his children, who changed their names to start a new life.

Lorie also addresses the Hollywood treatment given to true crime stories, noting that the Evan Peters-starring Netflix series "Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" would've been equally as horrible for the victims' families.

costner_promo_kal
TMZ INVESTIGATES

She didn't watch the 2022 show ... but she's worried JWG will be put up on a pedestal like Dahmer.

All in all, Lorie says that even decades later, Chicago's trying to move on from the evil tragedy ... but this new series is a massive setback for them.

Kevin Costner ¡¿El acuerdo prenupcial realmente lo protegió?! ... TMZ Investiga

Published
