Raquel Leviss had an awkward first encounter with Tom Sandoval's mom, who knew all about their secret affair ... and we're told the meeting wasn't even supposed to go down.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Raquel took another trip to St. Louis -- Tom's hometown -- in January, following her first outing the month before. They were at a bar with his friends when the place abruptly had to close due to an ice storm warning in the area.

The group decided to take shelter at Tom's mom's house, which was nearby ... making it the first time Raquel had ever met her -- and yes, his mom Terri knew all about their affair.

We're told Terri wasn't cool with their situation but was cordial during the quick exchange. Tom didn't introduce Raquel as his GF, despite the fact Terri already knew.

The group ended up spending the night ... and Tom and Raquel ended up in the same room.

TMZ broke the story, Raquel made her first St. Louis trek at the end of December, with Tom giving her a tour of the city ... but we were told his family had no interest in meeting her, especially knowing what was going on behind the scenes.

Things between Ariana Madix and her Coachella boo are lookin' like more than just a festival hookup ... because nothing screams "serious" quite like taking someone to the airport.

Ariana was spotted once again with Daniel Wai Monday after their fun in the Indio sun ... and, again, they were making out -- curbside at LAX -- before he headed inside to jet off.

The pics, at least, make it seem like Ariana is really into this guy.

Setting aside the super-public PDA, Ariana drove him through infamous L.A. traffic to one of the busiest airports on the west coast -- talk about commitment!!!

As we reported, the "Vanderpump Rules" star was in full rebound mode over the weekend ... video obtained by TMZ showed Ari and the fitness coach lockin' lips pretty passionately while dancing the night away.

While some speculated this could've just been a fling, the LAX trip might be a sign it's a lot more legit ... 'cause gas ain't cheap!

When it rains it pours and, for Tom Sandoval, that just means more and more drama.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star took his seemingly never-ending cheating saga to Instagram Monday night and blasted Miraval Resorts and Spas for suggesting he would be staying at one of their locations this week.

Tom wrote, "I’m beyond disappointed in @MiravalResorts @MiravalArizona and their decision to post to their Instagram account this past weekend alluding to me staying there this week."

He continued, "They claim to be a refuge for wellness and betterment. But that is obviously false. They’d rather feed into the negativity and spectacle that has engulfed my life."

Tom went on to say that he planned a trip to the resort for some peace and quiet, but Miraval "isn’t the place for that." He also gave "a special shout-out to the general manager" for not taking responsibility for his team posting the message, which was in "poor taste."

In the since-deleted message, Miraval Arizona implied that Tom would be visiting its spa, sharing an image of an empty bar with a caption that mirrored the lyrics to VPR's theme song, "You know that it’s our time, these are the best days of our life."

To connect the dots ... Raquel checked into a mental health facility late last week, and fans speculated she was going to Miraval. Another rumor suggested Tom would be joining her. So it seems Miraval was playing into the speculation, and it seems Tom really had planned to be there.

As you know, Tom is in the crosshairs of a cheating scandal that has rocked the entire 'VPR' cast. TMZ broke the story in early March ... Tom blew up his 9-year relationship with girlfriend Ariana Madix after he had a torrid affair with fellow cast member, Raquel Leviss. Our sources say Madix, who's also a regular on the show, learned of the romance when she scrolled through Tom's cell phone and found inappropriate texts between him and Raquel.

Since then, Tom and Raquel have received major backlash from fans of the show and some of their cast members. Both have been struggling to keep their sanity through all the blowback they've received. We're told Raquel is currently seeking mental health treatment as a result of the fallout from the affair.

Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss went to great lengths to keep their affair out of Ariana Madix's sight, even creating fake names for each other on their phones, TMZ has learned ... despite Tom claiming she knew the warning signs.

Sources connected to the trio tell TMZ ... it was Tom's idea to create the code names, and Raquel was more than happy to go along.

They both picked basic names for each other -- he put the name "Jamie" in his phone. We don't know what alias she used for him.

Peeps close to Tom and Raquel shockingly knew about the fake names ... Tom even called Raquel "Jamie" to his friends on occasion. Not a smart move.

Ariana never cracked the code during their secret romance, but we're told she knows now.

Tom recently made an appearance on Howie Mandel's podcast ... claiming his affair was visible to Ariana, but she chose to turn a blind eye instead.

Ariana Madix seems to have moved on from Tom Sandoval with a new man -- getting awfully close and cozy with him down at Coachella ... and not trying to hide it either.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star is out in the desert with a bunch of other stars this weekend, and she's been documenting what she's been up to -- but, more importantly, who she's with ... and it looks like she's been hanging out a lot with some fitness trainer dude.

His name is Daniel Wai ... and he's all over Ariana's IG Story. Likewise, she's all over his as well -- and they were dancing the night away for Day 2 ... even posing for a sweet selfie.

Looks like Dan's rolling with her crew of friends, but in any case -- they definitely seem to be an item. Ariana threw up a photo earlier on Friday that showed her holding hands with someone ... and while you can't see the person's face, all signs point to Danny Boy.

The guy's got a somewhat decent social media presence -- about 15,000 followers -- and he's certainly about his craft ... with tons of clips and pics of him working out in the gym.

Meanwhile, we actually know what Tom was up to this weekend ... or at least on Friday. The dude was out at the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center ... which was basically a big music showcase, where artists could peruse equipment and instruments, and connect with other fellow enthusiasts. As you can see, Tom was worming his way around.

No sign of Raquel Leviss anywhere ... but he seems to be enjoying himself as well. Of course, we've seen him get a move on with his life ... refocusing on his band and touring.

You can always count on social media stars to pack the polo fields with head-turning looks ... and James Charles' denim duds alongside Lele Pons' chrome-bust mold were definitely worth a second glance!

If you thought that the models were going to skip out on the fun then you were way wrong. Justine Skye, Delilah Belle Hamlin, Madison Beer, Nicole Williams English and a bunch more long-legged hotties were making the desert landscape look like a catwalk.

Raquel Leviss is getting treatment at a mental health facility on the heels of her affair with Tom Sandoval going public.

TMZ has confirmed the "Vanderpump Rules" star recently checked herself in.

ET, who was the first to report the story, says Raquel made the decision with her family to seek treatment. What's interesting is ... she reportedly made that decision before the so-called "Scandoval" became a thing.

A source claims she had planned to start the treatment before the reunion taping last month, but decided to officially wrap up the season before going. It's unclear what kind of treatment she's getting, but a rep for Raquel tells TMZ ... "she isn't there for rehab, but rather mental health and trauma therapy."

TMZ broke the story ... Raquel and Tom were together behind Ariana Madix's back for quite some time, but it all came to the surface last month when Ariana found sexual texts exchanged between the duo.

Since then Tom and Raquel have been dragged through the mud, in public, and at the taping for the 'VR' reunion ... and as we reported, things were so tense things almost got physical between some cast members.

We've also learned Raquel spent time with Tom in his hometown around the holidays -- while he was still dating Ariana, which is why his family didn't want to meet her.

Lala Kent says she had a feeling something was going on between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss before their affair devastated Ariana Madix ... with her suspicions dating back to the summer.

We got the "Vanderpump Rules" star at LAX Tuesday and asked about Tom bringing Raquel to his hometown back in December, when he was still dating Ariana.

Lala says the affair, which we first reported in March, was a shock to folks outside the reality TV show cast ... but she says she and Katie Maloney felt "something was off" months before Raquel visited Tom in St. Louis.

While Lala had her suspicions during the summer, she says Ariana didn't know Tom was cheating on her until March, when she was absolutely gutted.

The signs were there all along ... Tom and Raquel were rocking matching necklaces back in October, and she kept popping up at his shows and his restaurant, hanging out with him without their other cast members around.

Tom Sandoval is opening up about his affair with Raquel Leviss in a slightly unhinged interview with Howie Mandel -- one where he, apparently, decided on the fly to remove his signature mustache.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star talked about the 'Scandoval' on Tuesday's episode of the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast ... claiming he's been learning a lot from the experience of cheating on his longtime GF Ariana Madix.

He said there was "no thrill" in it for him, just an anxiety-filled ride. Tom also revealed the first time he kissed Raquel was before she kissed his business partner, Tom Schwartz ... and claims he called things off with Ariana on Valentine's Day.

Tom goes on to complain about being so recognizable, which is when Howie offers to get rid of the stache. We're not saying it was planned, but for some reason, Tom had all the tools with him to get it done.

This is where it gets a little odd -- Tom's moment of vulnerability turns into a DIY trim ... switching from razor to scissors, then to a different razor before his upper lip is bare.

There is one funny moment when Howie's trim job gets a little too, umm ... Adolf-ish for Tom's liking.

As we reported, Tom was rocking out Friday with his band The Most Extras -- it was the debut of his 'stache-less face.

Before the world even knew Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval were a thing, he was comfortable enough to bring her home -- making the bold decision to bring her around his friends and family -- an offer his loved ones shut down ... TMZ has learned.

Our sources say Tom's family knew Raquel was with him in town, but had no interest in meeting her. We're told they thought it was inappropriate for him to bring another girl home while he was still with Ariana -- and they didn't support his seemingly new, secret relationship with Raquel.

As for his friends, our sources say Tom told them he was trying to break things off with Ariana right before the trip, and they were going to therapy together.

After the hometown visit, the two drove to Chicago for one of Tom's shows, but Raquel didn't attend out of fear she'd get recognized.

TMZ broke the story ... Tom and Raquel have continued to be an item even after the two were both roasted on the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion show. In fact, they grabbed dinner together at Musso and Frank Grill just hours after taping wrapped.

Turns out, the two were a serious thing wayyy earlier than anyone could've thought ... and the timeline just continues to get a whole lot messier.

Tom Sandoval is moving on from the Scandoval -- and he's doing it by getting back onstage and singing his heart out.

The 'Vanderpump' reality star got under the spotlight this weekend with his band, The Most Extras, for 2 live gigs where the guys apparently played to packed houses. On Friday, Tom performed at a venue called the Canyon in Montclair, CA ... way out near Pomona.

On Saturday, he did it again ... only this time, him and the band went in the other direction -- again playing at a Canyon establishment, but in Agoura Hills ... which is near Calabasas.

In both instances, TS lost his shirt ... and handled microphone duties bare-chested. He wasn't shy either ... Tom was up there belting out songs like there was no tomorrow, and it sounds like the crowds were rockin' with him for the most part. All in all, pretty good vibes.

Of course, the question some might ask is ... too soon? Clearly not -- the guy was booked, so he has every right to perform ... and it doesn't sound like the cheating hurt sales either.

He's already gone to the reunion and gotten chewed out by everyone under the sun -- both on and off set -- and he's apologized for betraying Ariana Madix. At this point, though ... this saga's been going on a month-plus and there's nothing more to really say. It's over.

AM's reportedly already lined up her next act -- apparently, she's set to appear on 'DWTS' -- and Tom seems set to do the same ... playing his music and running his businesses.

Ariana Madix is using her new-found super fame to expand her brand ... apparently joining "Dancing with the Stars" in Sept., according to a new report.

"ABC is in late stage conversations with [Madix] to be a contestant to join 'DWTS' this fall" ... a show insider told Page 6.

It's a bit complicated, since "Vanderpump Rules" is on Bravo -- owned by NBC -- and 'DWTS' is on ABC, but these things get worked out all the time.

It's an interesting move .... 'DWTS' won't air until September, and the highly-anticipated reunion 'VPR' show will air months before. But ABC clearly thinks the Scandavol has legs.

Ariana has reached the status of a heroine, at least among her fellow cast. This is a huge opportunity for her ... going from bartender to, as she hopes, actress. 'DWTS' could be a gateway to her goal as she's also set to appear in a Lifetime movie.

Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss has moved into the "love" category ... at least, according to his friend and business partner Tom Schwartz, who's spilling a TON of tea about the Scandoval.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Tom and Ariana are continuing to live in their Valley Village home when they're in town, though they're no longer sleeping in the same room obviously.

It's not going to be an easy split ... Tom and Ariana each own 50 percent of the home, according to property records, and we're told they have not sat down to talk about what they'll do with it.

It's kinda cringeworthy ... they are sometimes still in the house at the same time. With the palpable anger, it's gotta be rough.

While it sounds like a pretty awkward setup, Tom and Ariana aren't always in town at the same time ... our sources say she's up in Seattle filming a Lifetime movie for the next few days ... and we first reported, Tom took a Southwest flight home this week to visit family in St. Louis.

The home is 4,453 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms ... so there's enough space to create a buffer zone of sorts. Think "The War of the Roses."

Raquel stopped by the pad this week ... but we were told she didn't spend the night and was just saying bye to Tom before he took off for his hometown. Kinda weird, right?

Raquel Leviss is still spending quality time with Tom Sandoval, and they're cozy enough to be hanging together in the very home where Tom lives with Ariana Madix for years.

The "Vanderpump Rules" villainess -- to most fans -- was outside Tom and Ariana's place tossing a bag into the trunk of her car Wednesday around 4 PM.

Here's the thing ... Raquel was wearing some very comfy clothes and slides as she made her exit.

As for Tom's location, well he left his home about half an hour after Raquel ... on his way to catch a flight outta town.

Sandoval made his way to LAX around 7 PM, catching a Southwest flight to his hometown of St. Louis. He was flying solo, so apparently, he's not ready to bring Raquel home to meet the fam.

Photogs brought up the elephant in the room at the airport -- as well as a couple more Qs, but the guy wasn't in the mood to chat, instead makin' a beeline to check his bag.

However, the fact he and Raquel are close enough to kick it where he lived with his ex is pretty telling about how close they remain, now that the 'Scandoval' dust is settling.

As we reported, Raquel was a no-show in court Wednesday for the hearing over her restraining order against Scheana Shay. She'd alleged Scheana attacked her over the affair ... but since she skipped court, the restraining order was dismissed.

Now we know what, or who, was more important than court for Raquel.
