2:22 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Sean was found by a family member at his San Bernardino home around 8:45 PM on Friday night. He was transported to a hospital, but after life saving measures proved ineffective ... he was pronounced dead upon arriving.
UPDATE
We're also told no foul play is suspected at this time. However, an official cause of death is pending an autopsy, which hasn't been conducted yet.
Pioneering heavy metal drummer Sean Reinert has died ... TMZ has confirmed.
Blabbermouth first reported the the news that the musician was found unresponsive Friday in his Southern California home. No other details about his death have been released.
The guy is credited for helping pave the way for the niche rock genre, as he was a founding member of the '90s band Cynic as well as a brief member of Death. He played drums on their revolutionary record, "Human," in 1991 ... a major factor in defining modern metal.
"Human" has been ranked as one of the most influential guitar albums of all time. It has sold hundreds of thousands of units since its original release date.
Aerosmith got its award Friday night, and the acceptance speech was, well, awkward, because the band's wayward drummer was right there on stage with the boys, even though he wasn't allowed to play with them.
Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford joined temporarily ousted drummer Joey Kramer on stage Friday night as they accepted the honor from MusiCares at an event at the L.A. Convention Center.
If you've been following our stories this week, you know Joey had temporarily taken a leave of absence from the group for personal reasons. When he said he was ready to come back, his bandmates made him audition, and they say he lacked energy so he couldn't play the gig.
Joey went to court to get an order forcing the band to let him play, but the judge shot him down.
Aerosmith, which is celebrating its 50th year, performed "Big Ten Inch," "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion" ... and Joey was nowhere to be seen because he left the stage.
The group's entertainment lawyer, Dina LaPolt, put it best when she introduced the band ... "They are brothers. They refer to each other as brothers and they even fight like brothers."
DaBaby threw a pretty spectacular Grammy nomination bash Friday, and tons of music stars showed up.
The party went down at a house in Bev Hills, and the crowd included Casanova, YFN Lucci, Scott Storch, along with record execs Steve Lobel and AE. The party started at 3 PM and wrapped up at around 8.
DaBaby, who's nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his hit, "Suge," served up some ham, cheese and veggies. He had lots of Hennessey and Ciroc to wash it down.
As for the tunes ... well, DaBaby played lots of ... DaBaby.
He's had his issues recently -- roughing up a hotel employee who aggressively wanted a pic -- but Friday night was all love.
The Game was in a celebratory mood for Grammy weekend, but he took a few minutes to vent his anger over YG's arrest this week.
We got Game Friday night, leaving Derriere nightclub in Hollywood, and he seems outraged at YG's arrest for robbery, something his famed lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says is absolute BS.
Game notes that YG is set to perform a tribute to Nipsey Hussle Sunday night. He claims the cops will do anything they can to derail a tribute to YG. Full disclosure ... the photog mistakenly said the LAPD arrested YG ... it was the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept.
BTW ... YG was released Friday night on $250,000 bail.
As for the Grammys ... Nipsey's nominated for Best Rap Performance for "Racks in the Middle."
Boosie Badazzhere with a PSA for all the white rappers thinking about dropping an n-bomb in their next rap ... prepare to get a knuckle sandwich, unless you use it in one specific way.
We got Boosie at LAX and asked him about the white rapper who went viral for saying "n***a" in a battle rap and getting punched in the face.
In case you missed it ... William Wolf's black opponent cold-cocked him after he used the term in front of a room fool of black folks.
Justin Bieber is singing, smiling and dancing again ... putting in the work for another new music video with his buddy and Migos rapper Quavo.
Biebs was spotted in L.A. Friday outside of a daycare facility, he also had a photo and video crew in tow. It's unclear if the visit was planned or a surprise ... but Justin had a bunch of people join him on the steps in front of the cameras.
It's hard to tell exactly what's playing on speakers set up around the crew, but there's definitely music and we're told it's a new single for the Beliebers.
Rapper Quavo from Migos was also there -- the two have collabed before -- so it makes sense the pair have another single on the way.
Justin has already released one single this year titled "Yummy" ... but he's got some big months ahead. He's got a documentary, tour and new album on the way ... and this new video could very well be a preview of what's to come.
Demi Lovato's new single -- which she'll debut at the Grammys -- will reveal what she was going through before suffering an overdose ... but she says it's only a fraction of her story.
Demi opened up about the meaning of the song, called "Anyone," to Apple Music's Zane Lowe. The singer tells Lowe the reason it's so special is because listening back to it ... she realized it was a "cry for help."
We broke the story ... Lovato wrote and recorded the song just 4 days before she OD'd in July 2018, and vowed during her recovery to perform it first if she ever got another chance.
Lovato says she's surprised people close to her who were familiar with "Anyone" didn't also see that something was wrong and try to get her some help.
Taylor Swift's army of fans have great timing -- putting on an incredible display of support for her just as she was going public about battling an eating disorder.
We got Taylor and an absolute WALL of Swiftees Thursday night in Park City, UT ... where her "Miss Americana" documentary premiered. We're used to seeing her fans show out in force, but you gotta see this ... 'cause they outdid themselves for the Sundance Film Festival event -- and Taylor took selfies with scores of them.
T-Swift was smiling and clearly overjoyed -- moments before going into the theater, where fans got to see her open up for the first time about starving herself while she was on the road. In the Netflix documentary, she says seeing herself in paparazzi photos "where I looked like my tummy was too big, or someone said that I looked pregnant" triggered her to stop eating.
She says the lack of eating started to affect her live performances -- but adds she now understands she's gotta have food to have the energy to get through her shows.
As we reported, Taylor's actually pulling back on live shows this year -- doing fewer huge stadium dates -- partly so she can spend more time with her mother ... who's battling cancer and a brain tumor.
Despite the hard times ... Taylor had a lot to smile about last night.
Diddyis helping shine a light on a group of children battling cancer ... and now the kids are getting brand new iPads.
Here's the deal ... former celebrity weed dealer Milk Tyson launched a viral campaign to get Diddy to join their crusade to help kids fighting cancer, and get them a segment on the 'Ellen DegeneresShow.'
The children at Miami-based nonprofit Fighting All Monsters appeared in a viral video with Snoop Dogg, dancing to Diddy's hit song "Bad Boys For Life" and asking him to vibe with them.

Diddy caught wind of the initiative, and blasted the video out Thursday to his nearly 16 million Instagram followers, and now the group says tons of folks want to get involved.
Kristin Chenoweth is terrified over the spread of the deadly coronavirus ... and she's doing everything she can to stay safe while traveling.
We got Kristin at LAX Thursday and asked if she's scared to fly now that the outbreak is spreading from its epicenter in China to our borders.
As you know ... coronavirus started in Wuhan, China and the United States just got its first confirmed case. As if the world weren't scary enough right now.
Kristin came prepared for the worst ... because she busted out a face mask, and even handed an extra one to our camera guy. Good looking out!!!
The Emmy and Tony award winner is on her way to Key West for her Saturday tour stop and says she can't take any chances because she's gotta sing. Oh, and Kristin just got over a bout with the flu.
It's pretty alarming ... Kristin has a hunch that masks could become commonplace in the U.S.
On a lighter note ... there's one corona Kristin wants to taste.
Demi Lovato's upcoming Grammys performance will mark the fulfillment of a promise she made to herself after nearly dying from an overdose ... so expect it to be very emotional.
The singer will perform at Sunday's award show ... her first live performance since suffering the OD in July 2018, and TMZ's learned the song she's chosen is deeply connected to that scary ordeal.
Our Grammys sources tell us ... Demi wrote and recorded the song 4 days before her overdose, and the lyrics will reflect her state of mind during that time in her life.
We're told it's a "big ballad style" tune, and Lovato vowed while she was recovering in the hospital for months ... it would be the first song she'd perform at a big venue if she ever got the chance again.
Sunday will be that big moment ... and she's taking advantage of her comeback opportunity. Along with performing the track on a huge stage, our sources say she'll be releasing the single after the show. We're not sure what the title is yet.
Demi's Grammys gig will kick off a music revival for her. As we've reported ... she's also going to be singing the National Anthem one week later at Super Bowl LIV, and she plans to release a full-length studio album in the first half of 2020.
We're told the new single will be included on the album.
Taylor Swift is revealing her mother's new medical crisis -- a brain tumor doctors found while she was already battling a second bout of cancer.
The singer opened up about Andrea Swift's struggle Tuesday while discussing her Netflix documentary 'Miss Americana' ... which will premiere this week at the Sundance Film Festival. Her mom's brain tumor diagnosis happened in March 2019.
Taylor told Variety, "While she was going through treatment, they found a brain tumor. And the symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we've ever been through with her cancer before. So it's just been a really hard time for us as a family."
Andrea, a fixture at Taylor's concerts who organizes many of her daughter's backstage experiences, was first diagnosed with cancer in April 2015. She had been in remission, but the cancer returned.
Diddy and Faith Evans played central roles in Notorious B.I.G.'s life and in the immediate success that followed ... so it's only fitting they'll be front and center when Biggie gets inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Sources close to Diddy tell TMZ ... the music mogul and his family will attend the ceremony -- broadcast live on HBO -- on May 2 in Cleveland. We're told Diddy may have something up his sleeve to honor Biggie ... though it's unclear if he'll perform or pay tribute onstage.
Faith tells TMZ ... she's ecstatic about her late-husband being honored as a first-ballot inductee. And, like Diddy, Faith tells us her plan is to attend the ceremony. She's also hopeful she'll be part of the night's festivities honoring Biggie.
Johnny Depp didn't shy away from the spotlight this weekend when the opportunity to rock and roll presented itself ... if anything, he stepped up to the plate and hit a homer.
The actor popped up in Anaheim, CA Saturday night, where he performed onstage at Servite High School which was raising funds and playing tunes for a charity called the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. It's an open pot of money pro artists can tap if they fall on hard times.
Anyway, Johnny was definitely willing to do his part -- playing tracks like "Taking Care of Business" and "Dancing with Myself" alongside other musicians up there.
BTW ... his own band, Hollywood Vampires, was not in attendance -- it was just Johnny who showed. Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme was there too ... kind of a hodgepodge of talent, really.
Obviously, JD's a big fan of the cause ... and he was pretty gracious with his time. Check out how he reacted when they asked him to play one (or several) more songs.
11:24 AM PT -- DaBaby is setting the record straight on why he pushed the hotel employee, and he says it's because the guy was allegedly harassing him while he was in the company of his young daughter.
UPDATE

UPDATE
DB says the guy was attempting to film him outside of the hotel while he was holding his kid, and after repeatedly asking him to refrain ... DaBaby says the employee refused and kept filming anyway. DaBaby says he asked the dude to delete the video, and it doesn't sound like he listened ... at first. We'll let the rapper speak for himself here.
UPDATE
Bottom line though ... he says his family's safety comes first, and he was dead set on making sure this fella understood that too.
DaBaby likes his fans, but only so much, because when they ask for too much he might attack.
Check out the video ... from a security cam at a Bev Hills hotel. We're told the guy in the video is a hotel employee who followed DaBaby outside the lobby to get a pic. We're told DaBaby turned the guy down, so he walked back in the lobby.
That's when DaBaby and crew decided to administer some western justice, slamming the guy against the wall and roughing him up.
The incident, which went down December 19, was a day after DaBaby performed at the Shrine.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
DaBaby and crew left the hotel without further incident. Cops were not called.
It's not DaBaby's first run-in with fans. Last year he attacked a fan outside Louis Vuitton store in North Carolina. Also last year, DaBaby and crew beat a fan outside a concert in Massachusetts after the guy asked for a pic.
DaBaby's attorney, Michael Heiskell, tells TMZ ... "Any actions taken by DaBaby were likely in self defense based upon his recall of the events and until the video is thoroughly reviewed we have no further comment at this time."
Cardi B has plenty of game on the fashion front, but she outdid herself Friday at Paris Fashion Week.
She was at Richard Orlinski's fashion show -- a show which she stole with an outfit which is right on the line. Check out the eyes -- pretty dramatic, don't you think?
It's strangely racy and puritanical at the same time. It covers almost her entire body, but it's super form-fitting so ...
Cardi just turned 27 and has been celebrating overseas with hubby Offset. She showed up Thursday at Offset's fashion show. TMZ broke the story Quavo showed up at an after-party event, but the bodyguards didn't recognize him and initially would not let him in. Quavo was super upset and took several swings at people once inside.
