Taylor Swift made some quality time for her pal amid her jam-packed schedule and sizzling romance with Travis Kelce ... linking up with Blake Lively for a night out in NYC Wednesday.

The duo hit up Lucali's Pizzeria ... Taylor wearing a crushed velvet green dress and thigh-high brown boots ... and the ex-'Gossip Girl' actress in a side-slit suede miniskirt.

It wasn't just the two of them ... later they were joined by Zoe Kravitz, record producer Jack Antonoff -- and comedians Mike Birbiglia and Jerrod Carmichael.

Taylor and Blake have been great friends since 2015 ... so it was only fitting the 'Karma' singer sought solace in her ... after she was the butt of a major joke at the Golden Globes.

TS made a swift exit after host Jo Koy poked fun at how the NFL has more camera shots of Taylor than the Globes -- leaving her visibly annoyed.

Robert Downey Jr.'s joking about Robert De Niro's reaction to RDJ's win at the Golden Globes and hooking us up with a great soundbite -- even just for the sake of being glib.

We got the "Oppenheimer" star Wednesday outside "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and our photog asked him about De Niro mistakenly standing up when the winner for Best Supporting Actor was being read. It was a quick little mix-up on Bob's part -- but people definitely noticed.

In case you missed it ... RDJ and RDN were both up for the same award -- Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture -- which went to "Robert ... Downey Jr." When De Niro heard "Robert" though, he started to stir in his seat ... almost as if he'd won ... only to be let down when a different last name followed.

RDJ's having fun with it all here, telling us ... "Nothing's better than losing."  Mind you, he was doing this in the middle of signing autographs and shooting the s*** a bit.

He's joking, of course, and the reason we know that is because we asked what he meant -- with Downey Jr. adding ... "I just wanted to give you a good quote." Indeed, it was!

Looks like RDJ's still in good spirits after the big win for his role as Lewis Strauss in "Oppenheimer" ... he didn't just bless us, but he also gave autograph hounds what they wanted too. He also walked away with a big fat peace sign for the whole gang.

Selena Gomez is going dark yet again on social media -- this after a somewhat messy moment at the Golden Globes ... which Selena says is much ado about nothing.

The pop star/actress announced she was stepping away from her online accounts Tuesday -- writing ... "I'm off social for a while. I'm focusing on what really matters." She posted a quick clip of her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, playing with some kiddos ... presumably family.

Two things ... this is just the latest "break" that Selena has taken amid public scrutiny/backlash -- not to mention the latest declaration that she must step away. Remember, she did something similar recently amid the Israel-Hamas war, among other times.

Second ... this just further confirms that Selena's serious with BB -- after Sunday's show, she posted a shot of them smooching backstage, so she's not shying away from the relationship.

While some of her fans are certainly supporting her, others are for sure rolling their eyes.

Fact is ... a social media pause doesn't really need to be announced -- and yet, for whatever reason, SG continues to feel like she needs to broadcast her personal plans to the world.

Of course, this comes after she denied the gossipy convo seen 'round the world at the Globes -- where Selena was telling Taylor Swift something juicy ... which everyone perceived to be about Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. She said that was BS, as did he.

Tim told us straight up that he has no issue with Selena, and strongly suggested neither did his boo -- even though not everyone has been convinced of that based on their history.

The 'Succession' star was on hand Sunday in L.A. for the big award show, and folks immediately noticed he was using a cane to get around the red carpet. He didn't say anything about it in the moment -- but folks thought this was car crash-related.

Remember, Alan got into a nasty wreck out here in Hollywood when he lost control of his fancy electric truck and smashed through a wall a pizza parlor -- which caused a big scene and a lot of damage.

While Alan was seemingly uninjured at the time -- he did walk around with a knee sleeve in the days after ... and there, too, people thought he'd gotten a little banged up in the accident.

Now, here he is with another assist ... and the speculation has picked up all over again. Welp, we've got some answers -- and this isn't what it seems. Sources close to Alan tell TMZ his cane is actually helping him with an unrelated ailment he's been dealing with lately.

We're told Alan underwent a full knee replacement surgery just 3 and a half weeks ago -- this after suffering from arthritis for some time now. So, that's why he was using it.

If it wasn't clear from that ... no, this cane was not a fashion statement -- we're told AR absolutely needs it, and he's putting it to good use early and often. It's interesting (and miraculous) that he wasn't seriously hurt during the October wreck.

The "Only Murders in the Building" star chimed in after loads of drama circulated -- most of which claimed the hot tea she told Taylor during Sunday's award show was about Kylie and Timmy.

Selena commented -- like she often does -- on an Instagram post about the rumors ... writing, "Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone[s] business."

Remember, folks online thought Selena was telling Tay about getting denied a selfie with Timbo by Kylie, but it sounds like the gossip was a lot hotter than that, depending on who ya ask.

Might be a bit TMI there, but it's her way of putting the rumors to bed ... and as we reported, Timothée did a bit of the same Monday night when we got him in Beverly Hills.

He mostly kept a tight lip while on his night stroll, but told us there's no drama going on between the ladies ... admitting they're cool as cucumbers.

This follows the two stars hobnobbing at the Golden Globes this weekend -- where they were seen hanging out together quite a bit and looking a little cozy in photos.

Of course, Meryl recently came aboard as the newest big star on Marty's hit show "Only Murders in the Building" -- so that's how they're recently connected in showbiz, but they've been friendly for years now. Fact is, they're some of the biggest stars in the game.

The news of them possibly being a couple obviously got a lot of people excited -- 'cause, fact is, they're both unattached and single ... something we just recently learned about Meryl.

Remember, she announced late last year that she and her longtime husband, Don Gummer, had been separated for years now ... noting they were no longer romantically involved. It was very Will Smith/Jada Pinkett -- so yes, Meryl is technically on the market, as is Marty.

We got the actor walking around Bev Hills Monday night, trying to lay low with his hood on and at a brisk pace down the sidewalk with a pal in tow -- but our photog spotted him and attempted to chat him up about all things Golden Globes ... and perceived lingering beef.

Check it out ... we straight up ask if the rumors that his GF, Kylie, denied Selena a photo of her and him were true -- and after a lot of playful back-and-forth ... Timbo says it's BS.

Our photog asks if he and Selena are cool, and Timmy says ... "of course." And when we ask if there's any truth to Kylie being a mean girl and snubbing Selena -- he clearly says no. In other words, TC himself is shutting down the gossip once and for all ... no bad blood.

This whole thing started over attempted lip-reading on the part of fans who think they saw Selena tell Taylor Swift she'd been shut down by Kylie -- and even Tim and KJ themselves were subject to lip-readers trying to figure out what they were whispering to each other.

Funny enough, a professional lip reader hopped on TikTok to weigh in on the latter convo -- and they seem to believe Timmy here was professing his deep love for his new flame.

There've been reports that these two are very serious in their relationship ... and if what we saw at the Globes was any indication -- that might well be true.

Writer Evan Ross Katz shared the IG snap ... writing, "Paul Giamatti celebrating his Golden Globe win at In-N-Out. King. Absolutely no notes."

Paul's low-key sighting comes after finding himself the center of attention while collecting his awards earlier onstage.

He placed focus elsewhere during his acceptance speech, though ... paying thanks to teachers -- especially as he plays a stubborn teacher in the movie.

This year's Golden Globes ceremony had way more eyes on it compared to years past ... this despite a negative reaction to parts of the ceremony, and changing TV networks.

Sunday's televised event, which aired on CBS for the first time, was hit with some mixed reviews -- but the program had 9.4 million total viewers, according to Nielsen ratings, which is up 50% from 2023's event.

Last year's show, hosted by Jerrod Carmichael on NBC, only reached 6.3 million viewers, and that was down from the year before that.

This year's show also streamed on Paramount+, and instantly became the platform's second-largest live-streamed special ever ... and was reportedly the largest live-streaming audience for CBS since last year's Grammy Awards.

Of course, the change from NBC to CBS wasn't the only shift -- the Hollywood Foreign Press lost ownership of the Golden Globes last year after landing in hot water over a lack of diversity.

There are a few potential explanations for the increase -- the enormous box office success of films like "Barbie," "Oppenheimer" and Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' ... the Taylor factor itself, and the fact NFL games on CBS immediately preceded the Globes.

As you know, folks negatively chimed in online about Jo Koy's job as this year's host, which included a dig at the NFL for its constant coverage of Taylor at Travis Kelce's games.
