McDonald’s All-American Game Huge Fan Brawl ... Security to the Rescue
The action wasn't just on the court at the famous McDonald's All-American high school hoops game Wednesday ... a huge brawl broke out in the concourse and it was all caught on video.
FYI, the McDonald's game is a BIG DEAL in high school sports -- bringing together the top prep players in the country ... almost all of whom are already serious NBA prospects.
But after the final buzzer, roughly a dozen people went to war in the 300 level of the United Center in Chicago -- throwing haymakers and slamming each other to the floor.
Fortunately, in video obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, you can see multiple security team members rushing in and breaking the whole thing up.
Event organizers later issued a statement saying they're disappointed -- but "we are equally grateful to the United Center Security team and the Chicago Police for restoring order."

Adrian Peterson Training with Jameis Winston ... Hangin' with Bucs WRs
Here's another clue Adrian Peterson could be in Tampa Bay next season ... he's training with Jameis Winston and hanging out with some of the biggest stars on the team.
Peterson was out in Houston this week training with Tim Grover -- the fitness guru who's worked with guys like Michael Jordan, Kobe and Dwyane Wade.
He worked out with Jameis and praised the young QB's work ethic -- "I really enjoyed being in the backfield and marveling at [Winston] and the confidence & leadership he displayed around so many veteran guys. Really impressive!"
After the session. AP hit the nightlife scene with Jameis ... as well as Bucs receivers Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson.
Also noteworthy ... James Harden, Trent Williams and Lou Williams kicked it with the star-studded group.
Look, it's no lock AP signs with the Bucs ... but it seems to be a good sign -- especially with Tampa Bay in need of a solid running back.

Mets Pitcher Jeurys Familia Suspended 15 Games ... For Dom. Violence Arrest
The N.Y. Mets have suspended star pitcher Jeurys Familia 15 games for his domestic violence arrest back in October ... despite the fact a judge dismissed the criminal charge against him.
As we previously reported, Familia was arrested October 31 in New Jersey after cops say they saw visible injuries on his wife after she called 911 claiming he was drunk and "going crazy."
Familia was initially charged with simple assault -- but the judge dismissed that charge in December after the MLB star and his wife met with the judge together.
Still, MLB officials are punishing Familia anyway, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal who says Familia will miss 15 games and 18 days of pay ... totaling roughly $700,000.
Rosenthal says Familia has also agreed to make a contribution to charity and make in-person appearances at MLB rookie programs and at a NY-based domestic violence group.
Familia just issued a statement saying he accepts the suspension but insists he NEVER "physically touched, harmed or threatened my wife that evening."
"I did, however, act in an unacceptable manner and am terribly disappointed in myself. I am alone to blame for the problems of that evening."
"My wife and I cooperated fully with Major League Baseball’s investigation, and I’ve taken meaningful steps to assure that nothing like this will ever happen again. I have learned from this experience, and have grown as a husband, a father, and a man."

Donald Trump Yeah, I Can't Be Sued Right Now I Got a Country to Run!
Donald Trump doesn't think he'll have time to deal with civil lawsuits while he's running the USA ... and he's asking a judge to agree with him.
Trump's lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, filed court docs this week in New York, arguing Summer Zervos' defamation lawsuit against President Trump should be tossed, for now, since it'd distract him from his public duties ... and hurt the country as a result.
Kasowitz claims the U.S. constitution's supremacy clause backs up his rationale that a sitting president can't be sued in state court while in office. He also says the Supreme Court left this specific issue undecided when they ruled against Bill Clinton in the '90s.
Although SCOTUS firmly decided a president was not immune from private litigation while in office, Kasowitz claims it did not address dismissing a case based on the likelihood to distract the president before it begins.
As we reported ... Zervos is suing Trump for allegedly ruining her good name by calling her a liar for her sexual assault claims. Her lawyer, Gloria Allred, said Tuesday "no man is above the law and that includes the president of United States."
Kasowitz says he'll soon be filing a motion to dismiss the suit.

White House Shoelace Fence Jumper Strikes Again ... Only Now At Treasury Building
The woman who dangled from her shoelaces last week trying to jump the White House fence has struck again ... this time gunning for a building about a football field away.
Marci Anderson Wahl was arrested again early Sunday morning after successfully scaling the White House fence near the Treasury Building adjacent to 15th Street, just East of the White House. The building is on the same grounds, enclosed by the same fence.
Cops picked up Wahl around 2:15 AM, and she was charged with unlawful entry and contempt of court. She reportedly had a backpack on her with a sleeping bag and other miscellaneous items. No weapons or hazardous materials were found.
You'll recall ... Wahl was arrested and charged this past Tuesday for trying to jump the White House fence, but got caught by her shoelaces and had to be helped down by Secret Service agents.
After being issued a stay away order, she was arrested this past Friday as well after walking near the White House. Hopefully the third time's a charm for her.

Ex-Penn State Prez Guilty of Child Endangerment
Ex-Penn State president Graham Spanier was just found guilty of child endangerment stemming from the way he handled the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse incidents.
Officials say Spanier was alerted of a 2001 incident of Sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy in a Penn State shower ... but for some reason, Spanier did NOT report it to police.
Instead, officials say he and other Penn State officials simply told Sandusky he couldn't bring boys to campus anymore. Prosecutors argued he put the school and their own interests ahead of protecting the child.
Spanier argued his actions did not put any child in danger.
The jury felt differently -- and after 12 hours of deliberations found the 68-year-old guilty of child endangerment.

Ex-Baylor Tight End Arrested for 2013 Alleged Gang Rape
Ex-Baylor football player Tre'Von Armstead has been arrested in Texas for sexual assault 4 years after he was accused of gang raping a woman ... officials say.
Armstead was named in a rape investigation in 2013 ... but Baylor reportedly failed to take action for roughly 2 years. Armstead was eventually dismissed from the team in 2015 for a "violation of team rules."
The 22-year-old has always denied any wrongdoing in the 2013 incident.
But now, McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna says there's "newly discovered evidence" implicating Armstead ... and he was arrested Wednesday for 3 felony counts of sexual assault.
His bail was set at $150k.
It's the SECOND time Armstead has been arrested this month -- as we first reported, he was busted in Vegas for allegedly roughing up a woman and then going berserk on a cop car.
