Stephen Belafonte got in the crosshairs of the feds after his brother bragged Belafonte was in possession of a gun ... a gun he is prohibited from owning.

We're told The Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms got wind of his brother's comments and went to a judge last week asking for a warrant because Belafonte was reportedly convicted of domestic violence in 2003. He had allegedly gotten into a drunken fight with the mother of his child. As part of the conviction, he was prohibited from possessing firearms.

TMZ broke the story ... the ATF showed up to Belafonte's Hollywood Hills home Friday and waited for him to show to serve the warrant. We're told no gun was found.

Justin Trudeau wants a rematch with Matthew Perry after getting his ass kicked in grade school and Matt telling the world about it -- FIGHT!!!

The Canadian PM said "I've been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn't wanted to punch Chandler? How about a rematch @MatthewPerry?"

You'll recall ... Matt went on Kimmel earlier this month and told the story of how he once beat up a younger Trudeau for "excelling in a sport."

Now, JT tweeted the challenge on April Fool's day, so chances are he's joking. But it would be awesome!

As long as nothing happened to Trudeau's face, that is.

WWE star Baron Corbin would send Conor McGregor's ass to the hospital if the beefing stars actually fought ... according to WWE legend Taz.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have seemingly made up for the umpteenth time.

Chyna posted a few vids of the two Saturday ... and one thing's clear, there doesn't appear to be an ounce of ill will between them.

TMZ broke the story ... Chyna felt she was being tag-teamed by Rob and Tyga -- who she has kids with -- so she lashed out ... calling out Tyga for allegedly skipping child support payments.

"American Idol" will not be coming back in 2018, despite the fact that both NBC and FOX made offers to put it back on the air, because a tug of war between co-owners of the show torpedoed the deals.

TMZ broke the story, both NBC and FOX made dueling offers to bring the show back as early as summer, 2018. We were told NBC wanted to rotate "Idol"with 2 other shows -- "America's Got Talent" and "The Voice."

Our sources say the owners of "Idol" -- Fremantle and Core -- never anted up a counter offer to either network. As for why, Fremantle also owns "AGT" and we're told the company was pushing hard to pressure Core into agreeing to accept the NBC offer.

We're told honchos at Core felt Fremantle had a conflict of interest and was pushing "Idol" to make "AGT" the cornerstone of a year-round talent competition.

The Core execs felt Fremantle was trying to diminish the unique value of Idol and the two companies could not see eye to eye and we're told all the negotiations have been shelved.

They don't call it show business for nothing.

Katherine Jackson has been stashed away from her grandchildren since returning to Los Angeles ... out of fear they'll reprogram grandma and derail her legal battle with Trent Jackson.

Sources connected to the family tell us Michael's children -- Paris, Prince and Blanket -- didn't even know Katherine was coming back and as of Friday, had not seen her. Remember, she flew back from London Wednesday night, and her daughter Rebbie desperately tried to block our camera at LAX.

Other family sources say rather than taking the matriarch to her own home, she was secretly taken to one of her children's homes -- and it has everything to do with the elder abuse lawsuit.

Remember, the main reason Katherine even came back is to testify against her nephew, Trent. He's made it clear he believes Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson are masterminding the whole case in an effort to gain control of Katherine's money.

We're told Trent's camp thinks Katherine's kids are worried Paris and Prince will encourage grandma to drop the lawsuit. You'll recall ... Paris went off on Jermaine and other siblings in 2012 when Katherine was taken to Arizona for nearly 2 weeks. She equated it to a kidnapping.

Our sources point out the fact Katherine still hasn't seen her beloved grandchildren -- after being gone for 2 months -- is a strong sign someone doesn't want a repeat of 2012.

Maybe Chris Weidman knows something we don't ... but the UFC star says the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight is "100%" going down.

Weidman appeared on "MMA Report with Mike 'Gunz' Gunzelman" and said his information about the fight is "a fact."

Of course, Dana White has disagreed the last few times we've seen him out -- while he's said he wants the fight to happen, the UFC honcho has said the 2 sides are insanely far apart when it comes to money. But maybe something's changed.

Still, Weidman seems very confident and explained why he truly believes Mayweather could be in for a VERY painful night.

Ex-"Dance Moms" host Abby Lee Miller doesn't appreciate getting dissed by the moms on the show ... 'cause she's the one who helped 'em get $20k per episode just for being couch-sitting housewives.

We got Abby outside the Mondrian Hotel Wednesday in West Hollywood where she told us all she ever wanted, and still wants, from producers is a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

She announced her departure earlier this week, and almost immediately some of the moms threw shade Abby's way while praising her replacement, Cheryl Burke ... who they say "will show up and not complain."

Blac Chyna's on the attack against Tyga because she thinks baby daddy #1 is teaming up with #2 -- Rob Kardashian -- to spread lies about her.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ ... Chyna went off after she heard Tyga telling people she wants to kiss, make up and get back together with him -- a news flash that came from Rob.

We're told Chyna got pissed because she hardly talks to Tyga, and had only reached out to him recently to demand he pay King's nannies -- even though they'd normally do that on their own.

Other sources tell us Tyga misinterpreted the call from Chyna, and thought she wanted to talk about more than co-parenting ... something he shared with his new bff, Rob. We're told the guys have gotten tight ever since BC and Rob broke up.

The problem's obvious -- Rob and Tyga talk ABOUT Chyna, but Rob's also talking TO Chyna about all of it ... according to our sources.

Katherine Jackson is back in Los Angeles, and one of the kids Trent believes is masterminding the court case against him almost gymnastically shielded her from questions about the family war.

TMZ broke the story ... Katherine headed back to L.A. from London after a judge essentially ruled her case against Trent couldn't go forward without her present in court.

Katherine's daughter, Rebbie, blocked our photog who was asking about Katherine's allegations that Trent stole from her and abused her ... something he denies.

Trent believes Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson are manipulating Katherine into going against Trent, although the endgame isn't clear.

We're told Trent is willing to walk away from the whole thing, so it's unclear why the case is pressing forward.

Tyga laughed off Blac Chyna's accusations he's skipping out on child support payments, as he sped off in a Ferrari ... while shopping in Bev Hills.

Yeah, this clip is dripping with irony ... Tyga was leaving Barney's NY when we asked about BC's rant, where she called him a bitch for not paying and talking behind her back.

He says a lot here, even if his mouth isn't moving that much.

As for the yellow 'Rari -- we'll see if it works out better than his red one.

The moms of "Dance Moms" are absolutely thrilled with their new host, Cheryl Burke, and equally excited to throw dirt on Abby Lee Miller's metaphorical grave.

The longtime "Dancing with the Stars" pro showed up at 8 Count Dance Academy in L.A. to start working with her new students. She played it coy when paps compared her to Abby.

The moms, on the other hand, couldn't wait to blab about ditching Abby and upgrading -- in their eyes -- to Cheryl.

Damn. Body's not even cold.

WWE superstar Baron Corbin hasn't forgotten all of the trash Conor McGregor talked about wrestlers ... and says he wants a shot at the UFC star in the hopes of teaching him a very violent lesson.

Corbin -- who's wrestling for the WWE intercontinental belt at WrestleMania 33 this weekend -- appeared on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas when he was asked about Conor vs. Floyd.

After siding with Mayweather, Corbin brought up the comments McGregor made back in August ... when he said most WWE guys are "messed up p**sies" who couldn't hold their own in a real fight.

Corbin -- a former boxer and NFL lineman  --- clearly took the comments personally, saying, "I would like to slam him on his head a few times."

Tomi Lahren has millions on the line in her negotiations to exit TheBlaze ... as in Facebook followers.

Sources familiar with the negotiations between Tomi and Blaze brass tell us she's adamant about keeping her 4.2 million FB fans, but the company has other ideas.

Fact is ... TheBlaze owns her Facebook page ... and honchos have flexed their muscles by cutting off access to Tomi and her team.

There hasn't been a single post since Tomi and Glenn Beck butted heads over her announcing on "The View" she was pro-choice.

We're told Tomi believes she's more marketable if she brings her Facebook followers to her next gig. As we reported, she has 6 months left on her contract and she's currently negotiating a severance package which includes a payout and a possible time out where she can't work anywhere else.

Blac Chyna's calling out Tyga for allegedly failing to pay child support, and for dragging the Kardashians into the middle of their financial battle.

Chyna unloaded on her baby daddy early Wednesday morning, saying ... "It's funny now to me !!! But when Tyga and side n**** kicked me out !!! And they wanted to see me fail ! lol And 2 grind from the dirt !!!!! No child support!"

Her Snapchat attack on Tyga was filled with seemingly random references -- some of it's hard to decipher -- but her overall point is clear: PAY ME, BITCH! She also wants "Jenny," the babysitter, to get paid.

BC got personal too -- "So go tell Kylie , and Rob ! About our son Account ! Cause that's the only reason I'm contacting ur f** ass!"

Tyga not paying people is nothing new, but Chyna ain't settling for the status quo ... obviously.

Former "RuPaul's Drag Race" champ Tyra Sanchez claims "America's Got Talent" pulled a cruel bait and switch, trying to make him something he's not ... Tyra Banks.

Sanchez -- real name James Ross -- tells us 'AGT' producers reached out to him about doing a funny bit with their new host. He says he was into it, but believed he'd appear as HIS character ... Tyra Sanchez. Somewhere along the way he says the deal changed, and they wanted him to be a contestant ... as a Banks impersonator.

He's convinced they were setting him up to be the butt of the joke, but he didn't fall for it ... like many before him have. Ross wants his fellow queens to rise up and refuse to do the show or even watch it.

We reached out to 'AGT' ... so far no word back.
