Brendan Dassey's Brother Taking My 'Making a Murderer' Rap to Prison
Brendan Dassey is now getting a stronger defense than anything he got in court -- in the form of a rap about the "Making a Murderer" case, written by his half brother.
Brad Dassey is an up and coming Christian rapper who cut the track 2 days ago, after he got pissed about Brendan and Steven Avery's prosecution while watching the Netflix series.
"They Didn't Do It" is loaded with jabs at the authorities like, "Not a fair trial, not a fair game. Whole thing's wack, just a lying shame."
It might not be award-winning, but it's from the heart. Brad says he worked on it for 10 straight hours. This is personal for him on several levels -- he's been hounded because of his last name, and says he got fired from his DJ gig when Brendan was convicted.
Brad's planning to go to Green Bay Correctional Facility so Brendan can hear the song, but since the prison doesn't allow smartphones ... he'll have to perform it live.

As part of his sentence, Anderson has also been ordered to avoid alcohol, give up his driver's license and do 40 hours of community service.

Steven Avery Files Appeal ... A Key Juror Had it In for Me
Steven Avery has just filed an appeal, asking a judge to throw out his conviction for the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach.
Avery says the jurors were tainted, because one juror made repeated comments that he was "f***ing guilty." Avery says the juror in question also told the other jurors, "If you can't handle it why don't you tell them [the judge] and just leave."
Avery claims in new legal docs the search that ultimately produced incriminating evidence ... including blood and the key to Halbach's vehicle, was illegal. He says the scope of the search exceeded the limits set by the search warrant itself.
And he claims Halbach's vehicle was not properly sealed with tamper-proof tape, allowing cops to open and close the doors and plant evidence ... namely his blood.
Avery, who filed the docs himself, also claims his lawyer incompetently repped him ... pretty shocking.
The now-famous convict is asking the Wisconsin Court of Appeals to declare a mistrial.

Mel Gibson Arresting Cop Still on the Hot Seat ... 9 1/2 Years Later
The L.A. County Sheriff's deputy who arrested Mel Gibson for DUI back in 2006 is still being aggressively pursued by his superiors ... nearly a decade after TMZ broke the story. Fact is ... he was investigated, fired, reinstated and now there are 2 more investigations.
The brass at the Sheriff's Dept. has long believed Deputy James Mee leaked the 4 pages of his arrest report to TMZ ... 4 pages that contained line and verse what Mel Gibson said about Jews being responsible for all the wars in the world ... among other things. Mee was ordered to remove the info from the final report.
The Sheriff's Dept. got a search warrant against Mee, accused him of various misdeeds and started disciplinary proceedings against him. He was fired in 2012 for allegedly lying about a pursuit and the Dept. said it had nothing to do with the Gibson arrest.
The Civil Service Commission decided in Sept. the Sheriff's Dept. had no basis for firing Mee and reinstated him. But we've learned, although he's getting paid again, he hasn't been at work a single day ... and that's because the Sheriff's have launched 2 separate, new investigations.
As we reported when we broke the 2006 DUI story, the Sheriff's Dept. repeatedly and strongly denied Mel said anything disparaging about Jews or anyone else, until we obtained the 4 pages that were taken out.
The Sheriff's Dept. says there is "an ongoing Internal Affairs investigation," and the Peace Officers Bill of Rights requires confidentiality.

Lana Del Rey Malibu Stalker Wacked Out on Drugs Gets Jail Time
One of Lana Del Rey's stalkers is headed to jail ... because he left a trail of evidence during a bad hallucinogenic trip.
Zachary Self pled no contest to stalking. He'll serve 84 days in jail.
According to court docs, Zachary broke into Lana's Malibu pad back in November. As we previously reported, she wasn't home and construction workers found him lying on a mat in the garage.
Police traced his whereabouts after he left behind a notepad with disturbing messages professing his love for the "Blue Jeans" singer along with a "notice to appear" citation for a burglary in Kansas.
When cops looked the name on the ticket up on social media, pictures of Zachary on Lana's Malibu balcony popped up along with creepy messages. In one he claimed he was "engaged to heaven on Earth with Lana Del Rey."
Cops picked him up in December and Zachary told them he had become obsessed with Lana while under the influence of hallucinogens. His family says he's bi-polar.
Zach will be on probation for 5 years and must spend a year in a residential program. He's been ordered to stay clear of Lana for the next 10 years.

Bill Cosby I Want Sexual Assault Charges Thrown Out D.A. is a Political Hack
Bill Cosby claims he's been double-dealt by the Montgomery County D.A. who violated a promise the comedian would never be prosecuted ... and Cosby now wants the case thrown out.
The comedian's lawyers just filed a motion to have the D.A. removed from the case and the charges dismissed. According to the lawyers, there was an explicit agreement in 2005 -- when the case involving Andrea Constand was initially rejected -- that it was over once and for all.
The lawyers say that's why Cosby sat for depositions in 2005 and 2006 ... because there was no need to assert the 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination since there was no chance a criminal case could be filed.
The lawyers say the new D.A., Kevin Steele, intentionally violated the clear agreement by filing charges.
Steele made the Cosby case a campaign issue and even announced charges before he was sworn in.

M.I.A. Huge Soccer Team Threatens Lawsuit ... Stop Rockin' Our Jersey!
Paris Saint-Germain -- one of the most famous soccer teams in the world -- is going to war with rapper M.I.A. ... claiming she's damaging their reputation by rocking their jersey in a music video.
The whole fight is over M.I.A.'s video for her song, "Borders" -- in which the rapper attempts to shed light on the plight of refugees ... while wearing a Paris Saint-Germain soccer jersey.
The lyrics are critical of people unsympathetic to refugees -- "Guns blow doors to the system. Yeah f*ck 'em when we say we're not with them. We're solid and we don't need to kick them."
In the video -- which features several images of refugees packed in boats -- M.I.A. altered the team's sponsor's slogan "Fly Emirates" to say, "Fly Pirates."
The team had a HUGE issue with the fact M.I.A. used their jersey to make her statement about the international refugee crisis -- claiming the video suggests PSG is part of the problem ... and not the solution.
In fact, PSG honcho Jean-Claude Blanc fired off a letter to M.I.A.'s label saying, "This association is all the more hard to understand that nothing in our activities and in our daily initiatives suggests we have anything to do with the problems highlighted by M.I.A."
Now, PSG is demanding M.I.A. scrub the image of their jersey from her video and says it's considering legal action if she doesn't ... claiming the rapper is damaging the team's "prestigious reputation."
M.I.A. posted the threatening letter on her Twitter page -- but so far, has not issued a formal comment on the situation ... and the video has not been altered.

Titans' Kendall Wright Baby Mama's Car Repo'd ... After Child Support Demand
Tennessee Titans star Kendall Wright has serious off-season headaches ... his baby mama is taking him to court for child support, and thinks he's getting revenge by repossessing her car.
In court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Kortney Michelle Owens-Rader says she has a 5-month-old baby boy with Wright named Kendall Jr. -- and the Titans leading receiver agreed in December to pay her $2,100/month in child support, starting in 2016.
The docs make it seem like everything's cool between Kortney and Kendall, but sources close to her say that's not the case. We're told Wright had been "taking care" of Kortney -- a singer signed to Floyd Mayweather's record label -- but nothing was on paper.
Cut to last week when, according to our sources, Kortney's 2014 Cadillac XTS -- a gift from Wright in happier times -- was repossessed. We're told Kortney thinks Wright stopped making payments because he was pissed she took him to court.
This probably won't get better ... they're due back in court in a couple of months. We've reached out to Wright's reps, but nothing back yet.

Wes Scantlin Busted for Trashing the House ... He USED to Own!
Wes Scantlin tried to go home -- to the house he lost in foreclosure last year -- and got arrested for destroying a bunch of property in the place.
TMZ got this video of the Puddle of Mudd frontman getting hauled off in cuffs from the Hollywood Hills pad on Saturday. You can hear the clearly confused singer pleading to the LAPD officers, "C'mon, this is my house, man!"
Sources connected to the case tell us Scantlin appears to have used a hatchet to smash a window. Also, he allegedly trashed audio electronics, surveillance cameras and an alarm system while inside the home early Saturday.
Scantlin was booked for vandalism, and 2 other people with him for trespassing. The singer was released after posting $20,000 bail. This bust comes on the heels of his Dec. 26 arrest for drugs.
2 weeks NOT arrested is a decent run for Scantlin, who's quickly challenging DMX.
