Paula Patton is not gunning for permanent sole custody of her son ... in fact, we've learned she's not gunning for anything now, because all she wants to do is figure out what's wrong with her son.

TMZ broke the story ... a judge just ordered Robin Thicke to stay 100 yards away from 6-year-old Julian, along with Paula and her mother. For now she has sole physical and legal custody.

Sources connected with the former couple tell us, Paula doesn't know what the final custody arrangement should look like, because she doesn't know the extent of Julian's issues. The boy told school officials Robin had been spanking him very hard. Paula also claims Robin got physical with his son.

We're told Julian is acting out in troubling ways, which include hyperventilating and just "freaking out." She's putting the boy in therapy to figure out what, if anything, happened to him and how to fix it.

We're told Paula will not make a long term custody game plan until she gets the lowdown from the therapist.

Korean Air flight attendants throw caution and coffee to the wind ... so claims a passenger who is suing the airline for what he says are severe java burns.

Charles Martel claims in a new lawsuit he was minding his own business on a 2015 flight when the flight attendant put a mug of piping hot coffee on the smooth flat surface of his tray table as the plane was shaking from turbulence. He says the coffee cup tilted and the hot liquid cascaded into his lap.

Martel says he was buckled up because of the bumpy flight, so had to just sit there as the coffee bubbled and burned his skin.

Martel claims the mishap would never have gone down had the flight attendant put the mug in the cup holder. At the very least, she could have warned him the coffee was very hot.

Martel wants medical expenses and loss of income.

David Lee Roth's dog allegedly took a bloody bite out of a landscaper, but the former Van Halen frontman claims it was, at worst, a small nip.

The landscaper, Timothy Salinas, says he was doing maintenance work in Roth's Pasadena yard when the rocker's Australian Cattle dog suddenly attacked and took a chunk out of his lower left calf. Salinas says his boss told him he'd lose his job if he reported it.

Roth begs to differ. He tells us he never hired Salinas, he hired the landscaping company. He also points out Salinas waited 47 days before going to the hospital -- and he only found out about it after Salinas made an insurance claim.

Roth's lawyer Ed McPherson says the whole thing is nothing more than a celebrity shakedown, although pics of the alleged attack look pretty gnarly.

Indianapolis Colts running back Robert Turbin is officially off the hook in his marijuana case ... despite the fact he seemed to take responsibility for the incident on Twitter.

Turbin was pulled over Utah on July 8 for running a stop sign and during the stop, cops found "a rolled joint-type thing" in his car. He was cited for marijuana possession and ordered to appear in court.

He later tweeted, "My mistake. Won't happen again."

But now, TMZ Sports has learned prosecutors threw out the case on "evidentiary grounds" -- and a rep for the Logan City Justice Court tells us there was evidence that shows Turbin might not be guilty.

Bottom line ... case closed. Turbin's in the clear.

Stevie J's unpaid child support stands at an insane $1.3 million and he's so far behind, his federal prosecutor wants him to pay with hard time.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara says Stevie's track record of ignoring his child support responsibilities has been flagrant and disrespectful to the law. In docs, Bharara points out Stevie's gotten plenty of second chances, but repeatedly screws up by, among other things, failing drug tests.

Matt Barnes will cooperate with the NYPD and turn himself in next week to face misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a nightclub brawl, though he maintains his innocence ... a rep for the NBA star tells TMZ Sports.

We broke the story ... Barnes and his Sacramento Kings teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, were involved in an altercation at Avenue nightclub back in December.

A woman in the club claims Barnes choked her during the melee. Barnes claims he was the REAL victim and he did what he had to do to defend himself.

Now, a rep for Barnes is confirming the NY Daily News report that he'll turn himself in ... but AFTER a 4 game road trip.

Cousins was not charged.

Joanna Krupa's demanding to pore over Brandi Glanville's financial docs ... to figure out how much she'll take from Brandi in the "smelly" vagina defamation lawsuit.

A judge gave Joanna the green light to go for punitive damages in the case, and that means she and her lawyers have to determine how much cash Brandi has. The docs will give the judge a clearer picture of how to punish Brandi if she loses the suit.

In the docs, Joanna requests Brandi's balance sheets, bank accounts and tax returns, plus any gifts valued at over $1k. This move comes on the heels of a judge ordering Joanna to hand over her gynecological records to help prove or disprove the smell at the heart of this case.

Chief Keef's been arrested for robbery and assault after allegedly jumping his former music producer, Ramsay Tha Great, in his home last week ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Keef was wanted for questioning in the armed home invasion, and they got a warrant to search his pad in Tarzana, CA Thursday night. We're told Keef and one other individual were taken into custody.

Ramsay posted video and photos on his Instagram last week, claiming the rapper jumped him with 5 of his friends ... while armed with an AK-47. He said he was going to file charges and apparently he was true to his word.

Keef was booked for robbery and is being held on $500,000 bail.

Robin Thicke has committed domestic violence more than once, according to the judge who just issued an order prohibiting him from having contact with his ex-wife and son, with the exception of visitation with Julian several times a week with a court appointed monitor.

According to the order, obtained by TMZ, there is a specific finding by the judge that Robin Thicke "has a history of domestic violence."

TMZ already posted the story, Paula went to court asking the judge to strip Robin of custody temporarily because of his alleged physical abuse toward 6-year-old Julian. Robin's lawyer filed a declaration saying the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is closing out its investigation because it determined her allegations were "unfounded."

According to the order, Robin must stay 100 yards clear of Paula and Paula's mom.

There will be further proceedings over the next 3 months, according to the judge, to determine who gets what custody when the dust settles.

The rapper seems to think the police have it out for him just because of his "success." He starts off pretty pissed in this video, but does a 180 about his Wednesday night arrest for guns and drugs.

Paula Patton has sworn to a judge Robin Thicke beat her during their marriage.

According to Paula's declaration filed in support of her domestic violence restraining order in May 2013 at the Cannes Film Festival ... she and Robin got into a fight and Robin hit her with a closed fist to her upper body and then pushed her onto the ground.

She claims he threatened multiple times to "bash my f***ing head in."

Paula gets personal, saying the straw that broke the camel's back in their marriage happened back in February 2013, when she was filming "Warcraft." Robin and Julian came to stay with her and she says Robin was supposed to take care of the boy, but early in the morning, he began screaming in front of them that he wanted to "f***ing sleep ... Who do you f***ing think you are not letting me sleep!"

She also claims Robin had a serious cocaine problem.

She makes cheating allegations in her docs, saying Robin called her while he was on tour in 2013 and she heard him having sex with another woman.

A source close to Robin scoffs at Paula's allegations, telling TMZ, "If these multi-year-old allegations were true, why is she only raising them now in the midst of a custody dispute where she's the only one violating the judge by denying Robin access to the boy?"

Paula makes various allegations involving Julian, saying among other things she began noticing behavior changes last November. She describes an incident where Julian asked Robin for a hug before bed and instead she says Robin came back to his room and spanked him.

TMZ broke the story ... a judge issued the restraining order, prohibiting Robin from coming near Paula, their son or her mom ... at least for the time being. Robin asked for an order giving him sole physical and legal custody but the judge shut him down.

Robin's lawyer claims the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is about to close its child abuse investigation against Robin, concluding the charges are "unfounded" ... this according to Robin's lawyer. The lawyer also says DCFS is investigating Paula for emotional abuse.

Joanna Krupa has to hand over medical records that could prove whether her vagina is "smelly" ... as Brandi Glanville has alleged.

A judge signed the order in Joanna's defamation case against Brandi, which says she has to release her gynecological records from 2000 to 2005. According to the docs, Joanna also has to produce any correspondence with Lisa Vanderpump, Mohamed Hadid and Andy Cohen that relates to the case.

Apparently, her vagina's been a hot topic among 'Housewives' stars.

You'll recall, Joanna sued Brandi 2 years ago for making the "smelly" comment on 'Watch What Happens Live.'

Robin Thicke is not allowed to go near his child or his ex-wife, Paula Patton ... this after a judge just temporarily yanked custody away from him, but now Robin's lawyer claims Paula is being investigated by the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for emotional abuse ... TMZ has learned.

Robin and Paula both rushed to an L.A. courtroom Thursday, each asking for complete temporary sole custody of 6-year-old Julian. The judge shut Robin down and issued a domestic violence restraining order Paula sought in which Robin must now stay clear of Julian, her and her mom until further notice.

Robin submitted a declaration from his lawyer, informing the judge they have been told by the DCFS lawyer that the agency will close the investigation into Robin because the allegations were "unfounded," and there is an open investigation into Paula for "emotional abuse."

TMZ broke the story ... DCFS opened an investigation after Julian told school officials earlier this year that his dad had been spanking him hard. According to Paula's legal docs, a school official claimed Julian had complained Robin was punching him ... something Robin has denied.

We've learned the "emotional abuse" allegation involves claims that Paula has intentionally tried to alienate Julian from Robin.

As for Paula's decision to go for a domestic violence restraining order, we're told the trigger was Robin going to Paula's house to pick up Julian for a scheduled visit, and when she wouldn't open the door he allegedly started banging on it ... something Robin denies.

Robin admits to light spanking, but only rarely.

"Black-ish" star Jenifer Lewis says the guy who trained her, flirted with her and started dating her has ripped her off for $50k, and she's blaming the gym.

Jenifer met the guy at an LA Fitness club in West Los Angeles, where he was a manager who worked the front desk. She says they got chummy and started seeing each other. She says 3 months into the relationship he convinced her to loan him the money for a film he was producing, saying he was Oscar-worthy, having won 3 awards for sound design.

Jenifer says in fact, he was a con man who served time and LA Fitness should have known and not hired him. According to her lawsuit against the club, she says when she confronted managers at the gym they actually sided with the con man, saying, "Stop making accusations." She adds in the suit they actually blocked her from returning to the gym.

Stitches learned karma's a bitch after parking in a handicap space, because cops busted him for gun and drug charges ... as he was backing out of the spot.

According to the police report, officers spotted the rapper's Porsche pulling out of a Miami Whole Foods lot Wednesday night. Cops immediately recognized Stitches from previous arrests -- he has a unique face -- and asked if he had a gun. He said no.

However, he did immediately hand over a rolled up, slightly burnt joint ... according to cops. When they searched the car, they found a Glock under his seat and 2 magazines of ammo. Cops say he apologized and said he thought they were asking if he had a gun ON him ... not IN his car.

Must've been a potent strain he was smoking.

Cops say they also found a mason jar filled with 39.2 grams of weed and one oxycodone pill, no prescription. He was booked for felony gun and weed possession.

NYPD officers hauled Shia LaBeouf away in handcuffs from his marathon protest site in NYC ... after he got into it with another protester.

The arrest happened right in the middle of Shia's "He will not divide us" live stream ... which has been going on since President Trump's inauguration. Cops tell us a guy walked in front of the mounted camera and said something -- possibly regarding Trump -- but whatever it was, Shia got pissed.

Shia grabbed for the guy's scarf, and allegedly scratched him in the process. As TMZ first reported ... NYPD has been posted up at the protest site since Monday -- so officers quickly moved in and busted Shia.

This all went down about 90 minutes ago, and we're told LaBeouf has not been booked yet ... but he's most likely looking at a misdemeanor assault charge.
