El apoyo público de Marlon Wayans a su hijo transgénero, así como su apertura para hablar de su propio proceso de aprendizaje como padre, le está significando elogios de parte de los líderes de la comunidad LGBTQ +.

El comediante está siendo aplaudido por las cabecillas del Centro Nacional para la Igualdad Transgénero, el Centro Nacional para los Derechos de las Lesbianas y los Centros LGBT en San Francisco y Los Ángeles, pues dicen que está dando un gran ejemplo para los padres.

Recuerden, Marlon recientemente reveló que su hijo mayor, de 23 años, es transgénero y ahora se identifica como un hombre, pasando de Amai a Kai.

Marlon está llamando a Kai su hijo, y dice que le tomó un poco de estudio pasar de la negación completa a amar y aceptar a su hijo.

Rodrigo Heng-Lehtinen, director ejecutivo del Centro Nacional para la Igualdad Transgénero, dice a TMZ: "Celebramos que Marlon Wayans apoye a su hijo trans y muestre a los padres de todo el mundo que la aceptación es posible, incluso cuando es difícil. Marlon's calling Kai his son ... and says it took quite a bit of education to go from complete denial to loving and accepting his kid.

Rodrigo Heng-Lehtinen, the Executive Director for the National Center for Transgender Equality, tells TMZ ... "We celebrate Marlon Wayans supporting his trans son and showing parents everywhere that acceptance is possible, even when it's hard ... let your child know that you love and support them, no matter what. It's amazing for Marlon to model that for other parents out there who may not understand it yet."

As you know, trans rights are a lightning rod right now ... making Marlon's acceptance even more important in the eyes of LGBTQ+ groups.

Dani Siragusa, Director of Development and Communications at the SF LGBT Center, tells TMZ ..."Marlon's unconditional support of Kai is so powerful because in the face of anti-trans hate, society needs to continue seeing examples of beautifully diverse families, and our communities need to continue uplifting stories of trans-affirming love between parents and trans children and vice versa."

Meanwhile, Shannon Minter from the NCLR tells us ... "In the current political climate -- with so many anti-transgender bills being pushed by hostile legislators -- being the parent of a transgender child can be lonely, difficult, and even frightening. By publicly embracing his transgender son, Wayans has provided a much-needed beacon of hope and light for these families. He is a powerful reminder that all young people need adults to support and protect them."

Closer to home, Marlon's being praised by the L.A. LGBT Center for not only being open about his transgender son, but also tackling the topic on his new comedy special, "Rainbow Child."

3:10 PM PT -- Dana Carvey says Dex Carvey died of an accidental overdose. He and his wife Paula just posted a note remembering their son's talent and passion for life, and says "We will miss him forever."

They add, "To anyone struggling with addiction or who loves someone struggling with addiction, you are in our hearts and prayers."

Dana Carvey's eldest son, Dex Carvey, has died ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Dex passed away Wednesday night after first responders rushed over to a home that his girlfriend had called from in Los Angeles around 10 PM. We're told Dex was locked in a bathroom, and that he was unresponsive upon discovery.

Our sources say paramedics tried reviving him, but to no avail ... he was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy has been done, but Dex's cause of death hasn't been determined ... pending toxicology tests.

Dana and Dex were very close ... in fact, Dex was following in his father's footsteps when it came to comedy -- as he was diving into the stand-up world over the past few years.

Dex actually opened for his father in his 2016 Netflix special, 'Straight White Male' ... during which Dex did a 6-minute set that got some laughs as he worked on material -- touching on a number of topics ... including pride parades, cult stories and his famous dad.

Dana's other son, Thomas, is also an aspiring comedian ... and the former 'SNL' star has spoken fondly of his boys and wanting to help their careers. Dex was only 32.

It's a gnarly deformation of the ear wrestlers and combat fighters commonly get from competition, but Steve-O took a short cut -- laying his right ear under Jon's belt and having Jon literally hammer the belt.

It took a few swings, but as expected, Steve's ear quickly became a bloody mess.😱

The stupid human stunt is part of his 'Bucket List' multimedia comedy special, which dropped on Tuesday -- and Steve describes it as a compilation of things he wasn't able to do on "Jackass."

Steve-O says he worked on this project for 5 years, and got comedian Bill Burr for the opening sequence, and he dropped more than $150k just on the production of that 90 seconds of footage.

Steve-O says he tried shopping the special around to numerous different streaming platforms, but it was just too intense ... so he just released it independently on his own site instead.

Marlon Wayans says his eldest child is transgender, and now identifies as male with a different name ... changes Marlon says took some getting used to on his part.

The comedian made the revelation on "The Breakfast Club" ... telling the crew that his new comedy special, "Rainbow Child," was going to tackle this exact topic, in hopes of helping other parents who have trans kids.

Marlon explained last week that 23-year-old Amai goes by Kai now ... and MW calls him his son. You can tell it's still fairly new, because he accidentally mis-genders Kai while discussing him.

It's pretty eye-opening, but it's clear Marlon has embraced the change with open arms -- although, he admits it's been a learning process ... and took quite a bit of education, on his part, to come around to love and acceptance.

As he explains here, Marlon was in "complete denial" for a while -- but now says he has nothing but unconditional love for Kai. It's unclear when exactly the transition happened -- but Marlon's been photographed with Kai and his other son Shawn in recent years.

Nia Hill accompanied her comedian husband to the UFC 295 event Saturday night at NYC's Madison Square Garden -- and during one of DT's on-camera moments on the jumbotron ... she flipped the bird, which many have taken to be directly targeted for Trump.

Frankly, it's hard to tell if this F-U was, in fact, intended for The Donald or not. It looks like Trump is in the same aisle as them, but slightly angled ahead of them as they're seated.

Nia throws up two single-finger salutes right at the UFC team pans to them ... but it seems like she's perhaps doing it straight to the camera itself, as opposed to DT who's to her right. Whatever her intention was, right-wing Twitter certainly took it as an insult to the ex-Prez.

As a result, he's getting a ton of hate from conservatives ... 'cause they see his wife's would-be gesture toward Trump as a reflection of his own politics -- even though he holds that pretty close to the vest.

Burr occupies this nebulous comedy space ... at times, he comes out swinging against "wokeness" but also rails on right-wingers just as much. Dude's an enigma, for sure -- and more importantly, there aren't many interviews he's done where he straight-up craps on DT.

Now, he's in the crosshairs of MAGA loyalists ... who are still very much with 45. The UFC crowd also appeared to welcome his presence ... as he rolled in with Dana White, Tucker Carlson and Kid Rock.

Druski's constant Birdman trolling seems to have finally caught up with him -- that is, if you buy this surveillance footage ... which shows the record exec "pulling up" on the homie.

TMZ Hip Hop has obtained some pretty shocking footage ... which we're told shows the Cash Money honcho and some goons literally dropping in and violently confronting Druski and co. at a studio session that the viral star was in late Friday night here in L.A.

Check it out ... you can see Birdman and his two friends facing off with Druski in a stairwell, and things get heated quickly -- with Baby apparently even attempting to put hands on Dru.

A minor scuffle ensues, and Druski and his pals go tumbling down the stairs as they try to escape ... making a run for it and beelining it through the halls of the studio -- with Birdman in close pursuit. We're told Dru had just finished filming for his reality show, "Coulda Been House," when this happened ... and from the looks of it, Birdman caught wind of it.

It would also appear that Birdman took something with him from all this ... namely, Druski's chain -- which he proudly flashed on social media afterward, writing ... "Surprise Party B*tch Slippin In Studio Richgang." Druski hasn't addressed the incident on any of his platforms.

Of course, the question here is ... is this real or fake??? Frankly, we're not even sure -- because this "beef" between Druski and Birdman has been walking the line of fact and fiction for a while, and Birdman himself certainly seems to think they have actual problems.

It all stems from this "Coulda Been Records" venture ... which has echoes of Birdman's Cash Money Records, right down to style and design of the logo. From the jump, Baby has made clear he does not approve -- this even though Druski has explained it's all for laughs.

That apparently doesn't matter to Birdman, who has repeatedly faced off with Druski (virtually) telling him to back down ... oftentimes in a pretty threatening way ... which seems legit.

The 'Real Time' host laid out the problem with some pretty graphic video ... and it's hard to argue that the inmates are not running the asylum. Video after video shows teachers being beaten, kicked and attacked in various other ways. One in 7 teachers has been the victim of some form of physical violence at the hands of their students.

BM blames a lot of that on parents, who used to have teachers' backs ... now their kids can do no wrong.

On a hilarious note, Bill notes 20 years ago kids looked like Britney Spears in that famous music video. Today, they look more like Brit dancing with knives.

And speaking of celebs, Maher is incredulous people like LeBron, George Clooney, Kanye and others have opened their own schools ... as in why does that make the school attractive to parents?

will.i.am and Van Jones want minorities to be at the forefront of tech space -- so they hosted a full-blown summit in L.A. to raise awareness for its future leaders.

The shindig was billed "Make Wakanda Real" -- like bringing the gadgets found in "Black Panther" to life -- and was held inside Will's FYI Campus Thursday night.

Tiffany Haddish, Ashton Kutcher, Jason Lee, and Quincy Jones III were just some of the supporting guests, as were dozens of innovators, tech experts and entrepreneurs.

A husband's going viral for putting a Taylor Swift tip jar in his house, and making his wife pay up for every mention of the pop star OR her boyfriend, Travis Kelce!

Maryland resident Dana Rice shared the clip of her hubby's new "invention," showing him clearly fed up with the Taylor/Travis chatter going on around their home these days ... prompting him to tape a sign with the new house rules on a tall glass.

It says, "Any mention of T. Swift and you owe $0.25" ... adding, "I can't take it anymore." And yes, there's a footnote reminding Dana the Kansas City Chiefs star is included in the deal.

Dana says she became a Swiftie when Taylor launched her "Eras" tour back in March ... and now fellow fans are coming to her defense in the comments -- one jokingly wrote, "25 cents is a small price to pay to spread the gospel."

Dana slips up pretty early, BTW ... saying they both were recently on 'SNL' -- referring to their brief cameos last month on the show's season premiere. As you know, that's when the entire country was goin' nuts over their relationship.
