Kim Kardashian and her fiancé Kris Humphries are hedging their bets -- they're hammering out a prenup before they tie the knot ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the couple tell us … both Kim and her NBA star hubby-to-be are telling friends, “It’s the smart thing to do." And, by the way, they're right.

We’re told the move isn’t one-sided. Both Kim and Kris have tons of loot. Kim is worth a reported $35 mil.

As for Kris ... he's not only making $3.2 mil a year with the Nets, his family also owns a couple of burger joints in Minnesota. Kris' net worth is estimated at $8 million.

Walters went after Paris for bitching about having to do 200 hours of community service. And Babs scoffed at Paris' claim she wanted to help women by doing charity work. Walters wondered aloud why Paris didn't show any of her charity work on her show: "Why not present that side of yourself, if indeed it exists?"

After the segment, Paris and her dad, Rick, berated producers backstage over the tone of the interview, so says the NY Post. A rep for the show confirmed the incident, but Paris was mum.

Brit Brit was seen with the ring poking out of her sleeve (see above) when she left a spa in the Valley on Wednesday. The rumor was ... she and Jason Trawick were set to get hitched and she was going to announce it on Twitter yesterday. Instead, she just announced a tour giveaway.

As you can see from the pics above, Brit has been wearing the ring for the past six weeks, and it looks more like a flower of some kind than a giant diamond.

Brand Sense Partners is suing Brit for $10 million, claiming she had a deal with the company but pulled a double-cross by trying to cut them out of a lucrative project with Elizabeth Arden.

Brand Sense wants to take Britney's deposition, but Brit's lawyers have so far refused, on grounds Brit is under a conservatorship and can't be forced to testify without the approval of the conservatorship's attorneys.

During the last original episode that aired February 14, Harper and his stalker/neighbor Rose were headed for the airport to catch a flight to Paris.

Sources connected with the production tell TMZ ... it's likely Lorre will use the flight to rid the show of Charlie Harper once and for all. And get this -- the flight was never intended to be a cliffhanger -- it just happened that was the last episode shot before Charlie Sheen melted down.

Of course, the obvious scenario is a plane crash. But our sources say that's not going to happen because producers are not going to make the other passengers sacrificial lambs -- even though they don't really exist.

TMZ broke the story ... Camille Grammer wanted custody of the former couple's 2 kids because Kelsey wanted to split them up. Kelsey's lawyer told us her story was "inaccurate." But we've obtained a letter Kelsey's lawyer sent to Camille's attorney which says exactly what Camille claims.

The letter, dated April 29, 2011, says "Kelsey proposes ... Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason." The letter says Kelsey wants to enroll 6-year-old Jude in a Chicago school.

The letter also outlines very specific terms of the custody agreement, including when each parent gets the kids on holidays.

Camille filed for primary physical custody yesterday ... and we've learned she wants custody so the kids aren't separated from each other.

As for Kelsey, his rep, Stan Rosenfield, tells TMZ, "Despite the fact that those connected with Camille Grammer seem to be hand delivering confidential documents to TMZ and other media outlets, we will continue not to make public statements about their private matters which can and apparently does beg for misinterpretation."

It's the Octomom's latest attempt to fix her house problems -- we're told Nadya plans to hold a bikini car wash fundraiser on June 18 in L.A. at the Melrose Strip Auto Detailing in Hollywood... and she's inviting some well-known D-listers to help her out.

Among the bikini-clad ladies -- Charlie Sheen's porn star Capri Anderson ... and a whole mess of randoms like Reggie Bush's alleged mistress January Gessert, and Mel Gibson's alleged mistress Violet Kowal.

RiRi went to her Twitter page today after the Parents Television Council condemned the "Man Down" video for depicting a premeditated murder and implying killing someone is an acceptable form of revenge.

Rihanna tweeted, "I'm a 23 year old rockstar with NO KIDS! What's up with everybody wantin me to be a parent? I'm just a girl, I can only be your/our voice!"

She continued, "We have the freedom to make art, LET US! Its your job to make sure they dont turn out like US."

The hacker just posted 17 additional pics. Many of the pics show a nude woman whom the hacker insists is Blake.

Blake's people are adamant ... telling TMZ the person in the pics is not Blake. The denial apparently incited the hacker, who posted the new pics, with this warning: "Oh, yes, Blake's rep. These are totally fake. We really, really believe you. Want moar? BTW, thanks for all the faps." (FYI: "faps" is a reference to pleasuring oneself)

Two of the pics show a woman clothed, holding an iPhone, and it sure looks like Blake.

Several of the nude pics show a woman's body with tattoos (no face). Several TMZ users contacted us with an interesting point ... Blake's character in "The Town" had star tattoos on her upper-chest area.

Red Light District, YouPorn.com, and PornHub.com are all trying to top each other, with bids hovering in the $40,000 range. Yeah, it seems kinda low, but there's no real sex in the tape ... which is usually a buzz kill.

The Medical Board of California made the announcement today -- ruling Dr. Michael Kamrava "did not exercise sound judgment" when he implanted the large number of embryos inside Nadya Suleman back in 2008.

The attorney general’s office accused Dr. Kamrava of being grossly negligent in his treatment of Suleman.

The Medical Board released a statement -- claiming, “The board is not assured that oversight through probation is enough, and having weighed the above, has determined that revocation of respondent’s certificate is necessary to protect the public.”

The council is outraged that Rihanna would suggest that gunning down a rapist in a crowded train station is a proper form of justice.

Another watchdog group ... "Industry Ears" says, "If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass ..."

The PTC is all the more outraged that Rihanna tweeted her fans that the video contained, "a very strong underlying message 4 girls like me."

The council's venom is also directed at BET for airing the video -- so we gotta ask ...
