Master P's family war is 100% real ... not concocted for a potential reality show according to P's son Romeo.

TMZ broke the story ... Master P is shopping a reality show to BET and other networks ... the hook being the nastiness between P and his estranged wife Sonya. He says she has a drug problem ... she says he's cutting her off from their $200 million fortune.

The TV deal makes some people think all the drama's being cooked up for plot lines -- but Romeo tells us it's 100% authentic ... and also explains why his Dad would want to air the dirty laundry.

Rapper/pastor Mase believes his wife is such an embarrassment to their church, he's banished her from the pulpit ... and it all has to do with hitting the bottle.

Mase is now blocking Twyla Betha from spreading the gospel on their pulpit ... all because she was busted for DUI and pled guilty last month. She blew a .14 ... nearly twice the legal limit.

Mase apparently thinks drunk driving is blasphemy ... so he told Twyla to get flocked. And, we're told the church elders and parishioners think Twyla is a hypocrite because she preached that drunkenness is a sin ... which she committed, so they're down with the ban.

Mase filed for divorce in January ... we're told the drunk driving incident was the last straw for him.

7:50 AM PT -- A FOX News spokesperson tells us Gregg "is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date at which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined."

Gregg Jarrett, an anchor with Fox News, was arrested at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Wednesday following an argument with police.

According to airport cops ... they received a call at around noon Wednesday ... complaining of a drunken patron at an airport restaurant. Police say Jarrett would not cooperate with their directions, describing him as "belligerent" and "non-cooperative."

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley is a shell of himself -- looking shockingly frail today as he leaned on others for support ... days after admitting he nearly died from years of hardcore drinking.

Deryck had to be held up by two women during a walk in Los Angeles.

On Friday, Deryck revealed he'd been laid up in a hospital bed for a month, and confessed on his blog... "the reason i got so sick is from all the hard boozing i’ve been doing over the years. it finally caught up to me."

Deryck says his liver and kidneys collapsed, and docs have told him if he has one drink he will die.

The damage is obvious when you remember how Deryck looked in his heyday with Avril Lavigne.

Who needs Mardi Gras? Matthew McConaughey had his own party in New Orleans when Brad Pitt started launching beers to him ... from a balcony across the street!

The only thing that could've made it better -- New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees throwing footballs down the street.. Yeah, that happened too!

The judge just threw the book at Michael Lohan's baby mama Kate Major -- sentencing her to 8 months in jail for being a really drunk scofflaw.

Major was hauled off to lockup in Palm Beach Monday after pleading guilty. The DUI conviction triggered a probation violation, stemming from Major's 2012 battery case ... when she allegedly attacked a police officer in Boca Raton.

As a result, the judge revoked Major's probation and sentenced her to 8 months in jail ... with 70 days credit for time served. Major will begin serving the balance of her jail time immediately.

As we reported, Major was arrested for DUI in March ... the arrest video is legendary.

Reese let loose Saturday night, looking pretty tipsy as she got on stage to sing "Jackson" with Kenny Chesney ... and she paid a pretty penny for the duet.

Maybe nostalgia prompted her to drop $24,000 for Drew Brees' foundation at a bash hosted by Matthew McConaughey. In return she got to sing at the House of Blues in New Orleans.

Reese swayed and shimmied in a white lace dress, and even pretended to pick at her teeth -- real country style.

After warbling the first few notes she hit her stride ... then faltered again.

Rapper Pitbull doesn't want his fans getting drunk on the wrong vodka recipe ... so he's suing to stop a booze company from slapping his name on their product.

Pitbull filed a federal lawsuit against E. & J. Winery & New Amsterdam Spirits Company over a vodka recipe they're pushing called "The Pit Bull."

The recipe -- 2 parts New Amsterdam vodka, 1/2 part lime juice, 1/2 part grapefruit juice, 2 parts lemon/lime soda -- might sound delicious ... but in the lawsuit Pitbull claims it's just piggybacking off his name.

The other problem -- the Miami rapper endorses other liquor brands including Voli vodka which also promotes a Pitbull drink.

According to the suit, New Amsterdam's recipe is confusing the marketplace -- plus, Pitbull's name has been trademarked since 2000.

Pitbull is suing for all profits New Amsterdam makes off his name. He also wants "Pit Bull" removed from the company's website.

No one had a cooler moment this weekend than Matthew McConaughey ... when Brad Pitt tossed him a beer from one New Orleans balcony to another. Alright, alright, alright!

McConaughey was in town for a charity event ... hanging out on a balcony in the French Quarter ... with Pitt hanging out on his own balcony across the way.

At one point in the video, you see Pitt yell to McConaughey, "You need a beer? I'll get you a beer." He then disappears into his home, comes back with a can of beer, and then tosses it several feet ... right to McConaughey.

We're told he's been clean for a month, largely because he's become obsessed with working out and it's just really hard to do when you're high.

Detoxing from sizzurp isn't easy, especially when you use it all the time. You'll recall ... during the Sheriff's search of Justin's Calabasas home, deputies found 4 or 5 empty codeine bottles and various styrofoam double cups.

The honchos behind the NMN tell us they plan to be the first legitimate news source covering medical and recreational marijuana ... including new laws and advocacy movements across the country.

We're told radio legend Bruce Kelly will host the hour-long program -- and Tommy Chong and Adrienne Curry will have some involvement (expert testimony?) ... and producers have reached out to Whoopi Goldberg and Snoop Dogg too.

We're told the NMN will be syndicated over multiple online platforms -- including "Live365" internet radio and USTREAM.

They hope to lunch launch in the next few weeks -- and though it won't look anything like this "Family Guy" clip ... that would be awesome.

The word "duh" has never been more appropriate ... because cops in Chula Vista say they didn't arrest one single underage drinker Thursday night at the Journey concert.

It's unclear if the statistic was a result of the CRACKDOWN cops called for to prevent kids from boozing at the show ... or, more likely, there just aren't underage people hitting up Journey concerts to get wasted these days!!

Officials did say there WAS a large number of people under 21 at the Sleep Train Ampitheatre last night ... so, whatever the case ... SUCCESS!!

SORRY UNDERAGE KIDS, your days of getting hammered at Journey concerts are OVER!!!!!!

At least in Chula Vista, CA ... where cops say the local PD is DOUBLING its patrol out of fear underage drinking will run rampant when the band takes the stage.

For the record, no ... it's not still 1983.

But seriously, the Chula Vista PD just issued the following release to the media:

"CVPD will be enforcing ZERO TOLERANCE for underage drinking and public intoxication at the Journey concert tonight at Sleep Train Amphitheatre. We will be doubling our enforcement efforts to combat underage drinking and public intoxication both during the concert and the pre-concert tailgating activities.

Underage drinkers will be cited and removed from the venue without a refund for their ticket. Officers will also be on the look out for excessive drinking that is disruptive and/or a safety concern. Intoxicated patrons will be denied access to the event and NO refunds will be given."

Kate Major had to be rushed from her Florida rehab facility to a local hospital after suffering a seizure ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, the episode went down early Monday morning. We're told Michael Lohan's baby mama had a seizure and complained of chest pains and was taken to JFK Medical Center near West Palm Beach.

Major was ordered back to rehab by a judge earlier this year following a DUI arrest.

She had a similar incident in 2011 when she was also taken to the hospital from rehab after suffering a seizure.

Sam Jones has been on his best behavior since he was let out of prison in 2012, so much so that a judge cut his probation short so he could go work on a new movie ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported, Jones was released from federal prison after serving 10 months following a guilty plea to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 Oxycodone pills.

Jones was offered a role in the movie version of his show "Blue Mountain State." Problem was ... the movie was shot in Montreal, and Jones couldn't enter Canada while on probation.

He wrote to the court, "I really need this freedom to practice my craft again. It's been a rough road, coming back. But I'm almost there ... I need to work on this 'Blue Mountain State' movie. I need to work as an actor again."

The judge was merciful and ended Jones' probation early ... complimenting the actor for helping young people and the homeless.

Well slap our ass and call us Sally -- cops are on the lookout for "Party Down South" star Mattie Breaux after her drunk driving arrest last year ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources in Louisiana tell us, a judge issued a bench warrant for her arrest last month ... after Breaux failed to show up for a pretrial hearing.

Breaux was arrested in September and charged with operating her vehicle while intoxicated. Cops say they pulled her over because she was weaving all over the place.

Girl does love her drink.
