Anna Nicole's People -- She's No $25 Escort!

Published | Updated

She died in 2007 -- but suddenly it appears Anna Nicole Smith is available to hire as a $25 hooker ... and the people who run Anna's estate are pissed!!!!

Some Las Vegas escort service is handing out flyers advertising a $25 romp next to a photo of a woman named Mandy -- problem is, Mandy is really Anna ... and unless we're unaware of some crazy reanimation thing -- the escort service is totally breaking the law.

Obviously, Anna's people are furious -- Ron Rale, the lawyer for her estate tells us, "Nobody is authorized to use Anna Nicole's image, name or likeness without the appropriate consent from her estate. We will immediately look into this."

And Larry Birkhead ain't too happy either, telling us, "This is highly inappropriate. This is going to be the most expensive trick this company has ever tried to pull. It's definitely going to be worth more than $25 when it's all said and done. It's disrespectful."

Oh, Mandy.

Shaq Vs. ... A Man Claiming the Show Is a Rip-Off

Published | Updated

The idea for Shaquille O'Neal's new show "Shaq Vs." is already accused of being stolen -- and it hasn't even hit the airwaves yet.

Author Todd Gallagher alleges William Morris Endeavor Entertainment -- the agency repping Todd -- approached him to turn his book "Andy Roddick Beat Me with a Frying Pan" into a TV show sometime last year ... then hijacked his idea and turned it into "Shaq Vs."

Todd's book was based on him competing against professional athletes who agreed to play with handicaps -- such as Roddick using a frying pan instead of a tennis racket.

The allegations are part of a letter fired off to Endeavor, in which Todd's lawyers claim the company "intentionally cut him out ... creatively and financially" and then got another one of their clients -- Shaquille O'Neal -- to fill in for him.

Todd's lawyers want to meet up with Endeavor for a possible settlement discussion -- if this doesn't happen, they intend to file a "lawsuit prior to the Show being aired on August 18th."

Time is tickin'.

We got a "no comment" from both sides.

Celebrity Threesome Tape -- They'll Sue

Published | Updated

It didn't take long -- TMZ has learned there's already a legal war raging over the Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart naked threesome tape.

Legal pit bull Marty Singer, who reps Dane and Gayheart, tells us he will sue anyone who publishes the video, which he calls "a private, confidential tape."

Singer says he just spoke with third wheel Kari Ann Peniche and asked how the tape got leaked. Her response: "I have no idea. I had nothing to do with it."

As for reports there's a full-blown, uncensored sex version of the tape, Singer said, "From what I've seen it's a naked tape, not a sex tape." Singer added, "At most it's 3 people maybe wanting to have sex."

And that's why we love Marty Singer.

Patricia Heaton -- Everybody Loves Lawsuits

Published | Updated

Now we know why they didn't call the show "Everybody Loves Patricia." Ray Romano's "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star, Patricia Heaton, is being sued by a former personal assistant who claims the actress fired her and then stiffed her for good measure.

Jennifer Lee
claims she worked for Patricia from August 2007 to March 2009, earning $770 a week. Jennifer says she was hired to work 15-20 hours a week but had to work a lot more.

Lee says friction developed after she asked about her unpaid wages -- when Patricia said Lee's child was "becoming a problem" because of the work schedule. Lee says Patricia was unsympathetic, firing her and saying "things might have been different" if Lee didn't have a child.

In the end, Lee claims Patricia owes her at least $7,425 in unpaid wages. On top of that Lee wants her overtime and additional expenses paid.

We particularly like one line in Lee's lawsuit: "If the rich and famous wish to employ individuals to cater to their every need, they must also refrain from violating California's wage and hour laws."

Obama Girls -- Mighty Morphin Jr. Park Rangers

Published | Updated

Their father is the President, their mom is the First Lady, and now the Obama girls have a title of their own: Junior Rangers at Grand Canyon National Park.

The First Family made the trip to Grand Canyon National Park over the weekend. Scott Kraynak -- the Park Ranger who gave the Obamas their tour -- told us Malia and Sasha were fast-tracked into the Jr. Rangers program since they only had one day to do it ... one of the perks you get for being the spawn of the most powerful man on the planet.

Scott said Sasha was made an honorary Coyote and Malia an honorary Scorpion -- the girls even received their very own Jr. Ranger patches for their accelerated accomplishments.

As for President Obama, Scott said he was genuinely interested in learning about the park and kept asking him all sorts of questions about it.

It's nice to have a President who takes time to learn about things.

Michael Jackson's Doc Sued for Eviction

Published | Updated

Dr. Arnold Klein -- Michael Jackson's doctor for decades -- has been sued for eviction from his Beverly Hills medical offices.

According to the documents, filed August 6 in L.A. County Superior Court, Dr. Klein failed to pay July rent, totaling $28,515.69. The lawsuit alleges the owners of the building gave Klein the first 5 days of August to make good on his rent, but the doc didn't, so the landlord sued for eviction.

But Dr. Klein redeemed himself. The landlord's lawyer told us Dr. Klein paid the back rent on August 10 and the landlord's lawyer will dismiss the case this week.

The L.A. County Coroner has requested files from Dr. Klein on Michael Jackson's treatments at his office.

No word on why the landlord was all business with a long-term client and moved so quickly to file legal papers.

As for Dr. Klein, we left word with his lawyer but so far no comment.

Khloe Kardashian Holy Moley

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned Khloe Kardashian underwent a minor surgical procedure early this morning to remove a potentially cancerous mole from her body.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, "Khloe was at her dermatologist for a mole removal ... she has a history of skin cancer and got one removed today."

The procedure, which took place at the Santa Monica Medical Center, is practically painless and we're told she's already back out on a press tour for her new show.

Jackson Doc Staffer Ordered to Retrieve Boxes

Published | Updated

An uncle of the two sisters who worked at Dr. Conrad Murray's medical practice in Houston says the day Michael Jackson died, one of the women got a call from either Dr. Murray or someone who worked for him to go and pick up boxes at Dr. Murray's storage facility ... and she got the call more than 5 hours before Dr. Murray called 911.

Joseph Middleton tells TMZ the morning of June 25, one of his nieces, LaQuisha Middleton, had just arrived at Dr. Murray's medical practice where she worked when she received a call to go to the storage facility. Joseph does not know who called LaQuisha, but based on his conversations with her, he says the call came either from Dr. Murray or someone who works for Dr. Murray. He also says she went with another woman who was not LaQuanda Price, LaQuisha's sister.

The manager of the storage facility tells us two women, whom she believed at the time to be Laquisha and LaQuanda, arrived at 9:22 AM (Houston time) and picked up 3-5 boxes, as well as other items.

Joseph says LaQuanda told him LaQuisha picked up a chair and boxes, although when we interviewed LaQuanda in Houston, she only remembers a box -- she says a box containing dirty needles that LaQuisha inexplicably brought back to the office. In the same interview, LaQuisha only admitted picking up a chair.

Joseph told us LaQuisha got the call at around 9 AM Houston time. That is 7 AM Los Angeles time, more than 5 hours before Dr. Murray called 911.

As we first reported, it took multiple bottles of Propofol to keep Michael Jackson asleep through a single night. Law enforcement sources tell us they believe -- though cannot prove yet -- that Propofol bottles may have been stored at one or more locations under the control of Dr. Murray and FedExed to L.A.

Law enforcement has a suspicion Dr. Murray walked out of the room for a period of time after administering the Propofol, possibly fell asleep, and when he returned Jackson had stopped breathing. Cops think Dr. Murray then may have spent hours "cleaning up" the situation before calling 911.

Cops Say 'Real' Husband Real Drunk

Being busted for DUI is nothing new for Matt Keough of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" -- but this latest bust takes the cake.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they busted Keough on Saturday afternoon when he rolled a stop sign in Coto de Caza, Calif. But Keough didn't stop right away, so the Sheriff's say they had to follow him all the way back to his place. Law enforcement gave him a blood test -- and he was THREE TIMES over the legal limit.

Keough was taken into custody and posted on $10,000 bond according to the O.C. Sheriff's Department.

Keough was sentenced to 180 days in an O.C. jail back in January 2008 for violating the probation of a 2005 DUI arrest.

Paula A's Plan B

Published | Updated

Sources close to Paula Abdul say even though "Dancing with the Stars" ain't gonna happen, she's still talking to ABC about a show of her very own.

As we first reported, Paula met with ABC honcho Steve McPherson earlier this week and now we're told one of the cards on the table is a possible variety show. And we're told they also discussed a talent competition with Paula in the Simon Cowell seat. Sources say Paula also talked about her desire to become the executive producer.

And there's this little tidbit. We're told Paula's feelings about being "disrespected" by "Idol" execs is more intense than ever after learning Victoria Beckham pulled in a fortune -- reportedly $275,000 an episode.

But sources say she'd still come back to Simon -- if the price ($10,000,000 a year) is right.

President Obama Graduates to the Hard Stuff

Published | Updated

Like a college student who turns 21, President Barack Obama has moved on from beer to hard liquor.

President Obama and the First Fam visited Macayo's in Phoenix last night to celebrate the president's half sister's birthday. We talked to the restaurant who told us that in addition to having the triple fajitas, Michelle and Barack each had a Tres Margarita -- made with Sauza Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila, Presidente Brandy (fitting), and Patron Citronge.

His bill ran around $200 -- and he tipped each waitress 20% and an additional $100 each.

You'll remember, Obama downed a Bud Light when he met with VP Joe Biden, Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and the man who arrested him -- Police Sergeant James Crowley.

Paula Abdul: 'Idol' Ain't So Bad After All!

Published | Updated

Sources connected to Paula Abdul say Miss Paula wants back on "American Idol."

Our sources say Paula's Twitter is retracted -- at least in her mind - if the price is right. As we first reported, the magic number is $10 million. Will Paula move from that number? The way negotiations go in Hollywood ... probably, but we don't know for sure and if so how much she's willing to give.

We're also told Paula's meetings with ABC didn't really go anywhere. She doesn't want to do "Dancing with the Stars" -- we're told, in no small part, because she wants to be able to jump on a plane on a moment's notice to rejoin her fellow judges on "Idol."

And, we're told, Paula is piiiised at the producers of "Ugly Betty" for leaking the story that she was talking to them about doing the show. She's not going to do it now.

As for "Idol," as far as we know they've been pretty hard-nosed and haven't contacted her reps, but we're not positive. In the end, we're thinking "A.I." isn't gonna let a little Twitter torpedo one of its golden geese.

UPDATE: We spotted Paula Abdul out Saturday night at Boa. She didn't quite know where the restaurant was ... or whether or not she would be joining "Dancing with the Stars." Hmmm ...

'Shield' Worker Learns About the Glass Ceiling

Published | Updated

Many companies have a hypothetical glass ceiling -- but one building in Los Angeles had a literal glass ceiling ... and a guy working on "The Shield" claims he fell right through it.

A construction worker who did a project for "The Shield" is suing the owners of a loft in downtown LA after he took the aforementioned spill. According to the lawsuit filed this week, the guy was on top a 14-foot high structure when he "stepped on what appeared to be solid wood, but was later revealed to be a pane of glass painted as camouflage to match the existing roof."

In the suit, he says he fell 14 feet to a concrete slab below -- suffering "back, neck and head injuries, as well as hundreds of lacerations of varying degree over his entire body."

He's asking for $3 mil.

NBA Star Accused of Having Some Giant Stones

Published | Updated

Every potential NBA draftee wants to look their best on draft night, but a jewelry company in L.A. claims Memphis Grizzlies star O.J. Mayo wore a ton of ice he never paid for.

According to a lawsuit filed Thursday, O.J. asked Prime Mountings to make a series of jewelry items, some of which he intended to wear to the NBA Draft. Prime says O.J. took the items promising to pay when he signed his first NBA contract -- and also promised he would "be purchasing a lot more jewelry ... in the future."

But alas, Prime claims O.J. never delivered on his promise and, in fact, never paid him the nearly $150K he owed them in the first place.

They are looking for the money they say they're owed, plus additional damages.

Michael Jackson's Deep Freeze

Published | Updated

Michael Jackson has not been buried, multiple family sources tell us. We're told he's above ground at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills and is being kept in a freezer.

We're told Katherine has frequently visited the temporary resting place.

As for where the body is eventually going ... no decision yet. We're told Jermaine is the lone family member who wants Neverland as Michael's final resting place. The rest of the family is appalled by Jermaine's wish, because M.J. hated Neverland after the molestation trial and wanted nothing to do with it.

Increasingly, Jermaine is becoming estranged from the rest of the Jackson brood.
