Melania Trump will enjoy the White House for a grand total of 2 days before returning to New York City, because she has mom work to do.

Sources connected with the soon-to-be First Lady tell us, Melania wants life for her son to be as normal as possible, and that includes keeping him in school and in his daily routine.

We're told she will go back and forth from NYC to D.C. until June, when she and Barron will move full-time into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Barron will start school there in September.

As one source put it, "She takes the mom thing seriously."

Paris Jackson is a grown woman, and pretty damn impressive!

We got Michael Jackson's daughter leaving LAX Monday, where she obliquely talked about her move to conquer modeling and Hollywood.

It's pretty remarkable for someone who was once shrouded in masks, hats and anything else that could hide her from public view.

As for whether Michael would be proud ... she's banking on it.

Mike Posner's father passed away last week, and his son honored him by performing at his funeral ... after revealing the man had cancer last year on TV.

Mike's dad, Jon, died last Wednesday from his months-long battle with cancer at the age of 73 -- and Mike chose to remember him in song by covering a classic.

The singer performed Bright Eyes' "First Day Of My Life" in front of an audience Friday at the Ira Kaufman Chapel in Southfield, Michigan, where Jon was an attorney.

Back in May, Mike had alluded to his father's illness while performing on "Conan," where he changed the lyrics to his hit song "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" to ...

She posted a pic of her and baby Future after the Seahawks lost to the Falcons 36-20. As we reported, Future showed up at the game, close to the field, as he cheered on Atlanta ... clearly hoping Seattle's QB Russell Wilson would notice.

Ciara captioned the pic, "No greater blessing than having family. We're proud of you @dangerusswilson."

Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza's mom is now calling the shots for his estate, and we've learned what caused his death.

Nick's mom, Rose, filed legal docs to be named administrator of the estate, which means she's now in line to collect any royalties owed to her son ... who spent more than a decade with Megadeth in its peak years.

As we first reported, Nick died after collapsing onstage last May during a gig in Los Angeles.

The younger brother of UFC star BJ Penn was arrested Tuesday after a crazy incident on an airplane in which he allegedly yelled, "I won't get off the plane without a fight."

Reagan Penn -- a former MMA fighter himself -- was on a Delta plane at LAX headed to Phoenix to see his big brother throw down at UFC Fight Night 103 when he got into it with flight crew over alcohol.

We're told Penn wanted booze before takeoff, crew refused to serve him and an argument ensued. He was eventually told to deboard the plane but he refused.

Cops were called but the standoff continued -- and he allegedly told officers, "I won't get off the plane without a fight."

A witness tells us Penn commented that his brother would "kick his ass" if he didn't make it to PHX for the fight.

Penn was "taken down" by at least two officers who handcuffed him and arrested for him trespassing. He was taken to a nearby station where he was booked.

Penn has since been released. No word if he made it to PHX yet.

Kylie Jenner's turning into a regular juggling act, taking on stepmom duties by day and her usual red carpet gigs by night.

According to the doc -- obtained by TMZ -- Ivanka Trump Marks LLC wants to start using the name on tights, socks, stockings, leggings, lingerie, underwear, bras, panties, shorts, briefs, shapewear, camisoles, tank tops, corsets, chemise, hosiery, undergarments, teddies and sleepwear.

We're told the company will continue to partner with apparel group G-III for the new clothing line, which will roll out this Spring. Our sources say the trademark application was filed to protect the IT brand from poachers.

Dennis Quaid may be overpaying his estranged wife for child and spousal support ... but then again, he might be underpaying, so everyone's quietly gone to court to try and square things up.

Turns out, Dennis and Kimberly Quaid never got a temporary spousal or child support order after she filed for divorce last June. According to legal docs, Dennis has been voluntarily paying for the living expenses of Kimberly and the 9-year-old twins since the split.

We're told they disagreed on how much Dennis should be paying. She thinks he should pay more and he thinks he's actually overpaying.

So, Dennis and Kimberly now say in legal docs -- once a judge sets the amount of spousal and child support -- they will add up what Dennis has paid, and if he's been underpaying he needs to cut a check for the difference. It's a gamble for Kimberly, because if Dennis overpaid she needs to cut a check for the difference.

Divorce ... sometimes it's like Vegas.

T.I. is keeping people guessing when it comes to his possible divorce from his wife of 6 years, Tiny.

Tip was on Atlanta's Streetz 94.5 Monday morning, and hosts Yung Joc and Mo Quick pressed him on the subject, which he's never talked about publicly before. T.I. still isn't in any mood to discuss it ... and tried his best to calmly and playfully put the hosts in check for bringing it up.

Tiny filed divorce docs in December, but since then T.I.'s put on a full-court press to get her to reconsider. Things were looking good just last week when they had a nice family dinner with their 10-month-old.

Judging by his reaction on the air ... we'd say there's still a chance they work this out.

She got injured in the process of getting an auction together to sell some of her Hollywood memorabilia ... to neutralize debt she'd incurred.

Her son, Todd Fisher, says the fall didn't stop her from going on about her business.
