Tekashi 6ix9ine Hip Hop's Dead To Me!!! Releases Surprise Spanish-Speaking Album

Tekashi 6ix9ine has officially moved on from the grimy street raps that both powered his early career and got him into trouble.
The rainbow-haired rapper surprise-dropped his third studio album Friday titled "Leyenda Viva," which translates to "Living Legend" in English.
The project is predominately in Spanish across its 11 tracks (save for the occasional "suck my d***") and features Latin Grammy-winning superstar Lenier on 7 of them.
6ix9ine abandons the drill sound in favor of tropical-tinged vibes with a twist of reggaeton ... much closer to his Mexican/Puerto Rican roots than ever before.
The new wave of music marks 6ix9ine's first full-length release in nearly 3 years ... and since he suffered a brutal beatdown inside a Miami L.A. Fitness gym in March.
It appears he's now healthy enough to promote the album and hop on the goldmine that is Latin trap, the popularity of which jumped 34% in the last two years ago among U.S. listeners ... while hip hop has struggled to produce a No. 1 anything for the first time in 30 years.

Big Lex Joseline Hernandez 'Beat Me Real Bad' ... 911 Call After Floyd Mayweather Brawl
-
Exclusive
Big Lex called 911 after getting beat up by Joseline Hernandez -- but she wasn't seeking medical attention ... she was seeking justice, demanding for cops to arrest the perpetrator.
TMZ has obtained the dispatch audio capturing BL's emergency call Sunday night -- this after she'd taken a brutal beating at the hands of Joseline backstage during Floyd Mayweather's exhibition fight -- and it sounds like she had one thing in mind ... pressing charges.
Take a listen for yourself ... you hear Lex talking to the operator, who's asking her all the standard questions -- and she sounds relatively calm, cool and collected about it all.
She gives all the proper info, but when the dispatcher asks if she needs medical personnel for any injuries -- Lex actually says no. Instead, she says she just needs cops on hand ... 'cause she says she only wants to file a police report -- obviously in hopes of an arrest.
Joseline Hernandez Beats Up Big Lex Backstage at Mayweather Fight
Lex says she's waiting at a nearby gas station and is standing by to give officers all the pertinent details. Clearly, she gave them what they needed to ultimately throw on handcuffs.
As we reported ... Joseline was hauled off to jail and booked on battery and trespassing charges. Her mug shot certainly makes it seem like she'd been through one wild night.
Of course, this whole incident was caught on camera ... and you can clearly see Joseline raining blows on Big Lex, while also having her in a headlock. The violent altercation ended up leaving Lex partially unclothed ... and it took a little while before they were separated.
Lex wasn't the only person Joseline was swinging on, BTW -- there's tons of footage of her attempting to attack other people that night, including grown men. Unclear what exactly precipitated all the drama ... but it ended the way Lex wanted, with JH behind bars.

Conor McGregor I 'Wasn't Impressed' W/ Mayweather's Performance ... Against John Gotti III
Conor McGregor tuned in to Floyd Mayweather's exhibition fight vs. John Gotti III, but the UFC superstar "wasn't that impressed" with the boxing legend, saying he "enjoyed the brawl afterward more" than the actual bout!
TMZ Sports caught up with 34-year-old McGregor Wednesday morning in NYC ... when we asked Conor for his thoughts on Mayweather vs. Gotti III.
"I wasn’t that impressed, to be honest with you, wasn't impressed," Conor said.
The former double champ added ... "I don’t know where [Floyd's] at. There’s no meaning behind it. He’s just here and there. There’s no meaning behind the bouts. There’s nothing to it. I enjoyed the brawl afterward more than I did the actual bout."
Of course, Floyd retired from fighting professionally in 2017, leaving with a perfect 50-0 record. Since, he's taken several exhibition bouts, fighting everyone from Logan Paul to the Gotti, grandson of one of the most infamous mobsters ever.
The Gotti fight lasted 6 rounds before referee Kenny Bayless disqualified John for repeatedly grabbing Floyd ... and that's when the real action started, with a melee ensuing in the ring and in several other places at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, FL.
Conor expressed support for John after the fight, tweeting ... "I back the Gotti's. The war is on."
Mayweather clearly intends to return to the ring, and Conor has an opponent in mind. Himself, in a rematch of their 2017 super fight.
"We'll have a go if he wants!"
Stay tuned.

Floyd Mayweather, despite being attacked in the ring by John Gotti III after their fight, was still able to share a cool moment with his longtime business partner, with both men receiving a custom Juneteenth belt in a back hallway of the venue.
The ceremony was originally supposed to go down inside the ring, but the subsequential brawl made that impossible. Still, the 50-0 legend, along with WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, presented CEO Jas Mathur with the World Boxing Council Championship Freedom Belt.
Mayweather also received the commemorative strap.
The belt, the WBC says, celebrates "the remarkable achievements and visionary leadership demonstrated by Mr. Mathur and Limitless X for their contributions to the sporting and business community."
“Thank you to Mauricio and the WBC for creating and presenting me and my partners with this unique freedom belt to commemorate Juneteenth,” Floyd told us.
"The WBC has always led by example. I am honored to receive the belt along with Robert Smith, who is the largest civil rights activist in our history, and Jas Mathur my dear friend and partner."
Mayweather's friend, billionaire philanthropist Robert Smith, also received the Freedom Belt at a dinner Saturday night in South Florida.
Mathur, who has worked alongside Floyd for years, was touched by the gift, writing, "It is truly an honor to receive this championship belt from the World Boxing Council."
Of course, Mayweather and Gotti III fought in an 8-round exhibition fight on Sunday ... which erupted into chaos after the grandson of the legendary mobster attacked Floyd after the ref stopped the fight.
For his actions, Gotti III has been suspended for six months by the Florida athletic commission. Mayweather, who didn't engage with John after the bout was called, received no penalty.

Conor McGregor Heat Mascot's Doing 'Good' ... After Game 4 Punch
The Miami Heat may have lost the NBA Finals, but there's at least some good news for the organization -- Conor McGregor says Burnie the mascot is A-OK after getting his bell rung at the hands of the UFC superstar!
"The mascot is good. It was a skit, and all is well," the 34-year-old former champ said Tuesday in NYC.
"I spent a lot of time with him afterward, we talked it out, everything is great. It was all part of the show!"
Remember, McGregor participated in what was supposed to be a fun, friendly routine with Burnie during game 4 of the Finals in Miami on Friday, when things took a turn for the worse for the furry creature.

Conor was promoting his Tidl Sport recovery spray ... when Burnie -- wearing oversized boxing gloves -- squared up with McGregor.
That was all The Notorious needed to see ... and he smashed Burnie with one of his vicious patented left hooks. The mascot went down to the ground before McGregor hit him with a brutal ground-and-pound strike to the head.
Unfortunately, Conor hits hard, as the guy in the Burnie costume found out, resulting in a reported trip to the hospital.
But, by Conor's account, he escaped serious injury and is okay.
See ya next year, Burnie ... and stay away from Conor, just in case.

John Gotti III Suspended Six Months ... Over Role In Floyd Mayweather Brawl
A rematch between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III in Florida won't be happening anytime soon ... TMZ Sports has confirmed the boxer has been suspended six months in the Sunshine State for his role in the brawl with TBE over the weekend.
A spokesperson for the Florida State Athletic Commission said Tuesday the decision to hit Gotti III with the ban actually came down on Sunday night ... right after Gotti III kicked off a melee when he went after Mayweather following a disqualification during their exhibition match.

The scene at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise was wild ... Gotti III attempted to throw multiple punches at Mayweather -- which caused a flurry of people to jump into the ring.
Chaos then ensued -- as multiple men were seen pushing and shoving each other ... before it all mercifully was broken up.
According to a rep for the FSAC, Mayweather was NOT penalized for his role in it all.
Our sources say Mayweather and the grandson of iconic mob boss John Gotti ultimately ended up hashing things out once cooler heads prevailed ... and are engaging in talks about potentially running it back down the line.
But, if they have any intentions of doing that in Florida ... it'll all now have to wait until at least December.

Julianna Pena Amanda Nunes Is A 'Coward!' ... Who's 'Dead To Me'
-
Exclusive
- 1.1K shares
"Coward!"
That's Julianna Pena's reaction to Amanda Nunes' retiring inside the Octagon after UFC 289 ... walking away from the sport before the two UFC stars got a chance to fight for a third and deciding time.
The former bantamweight champ joined Babcock on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs weeknights on FS1) ... where she viscerally reacted to Nunes' retirement.
"There's unfinished business and listen, the reality is that Amanda retired. She had a great career, but let's call a spade a spade. She's a coward. From the very beginning, the UFC told me that she didn't want to fight me and that's why it took so long for them to make the trilogy," Amanda told us.
Of course, 35-year-old Nunes easily handled Irene Aldana, scoring a decisive and unanimous 5-round decision Saturday night in Vancouver ... before she laid down her gloves in the center of the cage.
Remember, 33-year-old Pena defeated Nunes at UFC 269 in December 2021, in turn taking her bantamweight title. The women rematched at UFC 277 in July 2022 ... a fight Amanda won by unanimous decision (though, if you watch the video, the fight wasn't without controversy).
The Venezuelan Vixen and Lioness were supposed to settle their score once and for all at 289 ... but Julianna was forced to drop out after suffering a serious rib injury.
"We're 1-1, it's tied up and the fact that she walked away like this, it's unfortunate but personally, congratulations. Professionally, what the heck is that?"
Now, the expectation is Pena will fight Raquel Pennington or another top contender ... but, Amanda doesn't think Julianna will ever be champ again, and she said as much during her post-fight presser.
Pena believes Nunes is simply taking a shot at her.
"[Amanda] knows what can happen. She knows that she lost her belt to me and she knows that I'm a threat. She's gonna do everything and anything that she can to discredit me to say that I'm not good or that I'm never gonna be champion."
Julianna says she's not been left to "carry the whole division" by herself ... and she doesn't plan to sit around and dream about what a trilogy could've been like. It's onward and upward for the former champ.
"At this point, [Amanda's] dead to me. You retired, good, go, ride off into the sunset, have a good time. We gotta keep s*** pushing around here, so let's keep this division open and alive and things are gonna be exciting!"
But, with that said ... Pena did leave open the possibility for a future fight.
"Congratulations. Have a good time, but I know at the end of the day a fighter, especially when they're still young, is gonna have a hard time walking away from this sport. When she's ready to come back, I'll be here."

Floyd Mayweather Vs. John Gotti III Exhibition Fight Ends In Chaos ... Multiple Brawls

3:00 PM PT -- Boxing legend Antonio Tarver who called the Mayweather-Gotti III fight, joined the TMZ Sports TV show (airs weekdays on FS1) to breakdown exactly what he saw, from the in-ring melee to the backstage brawl with Joseline Hernandez.
Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III's exhibition match ended in complete chaos on Sunday night ... with multiple brawls breaking out after the two fighters got done with each other in the ring.
The scene at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Fla was absolute mayhem ... after Mayweather toyed with Gotti III for several rounds, the New York mob boss' grandson kicked off a melee by trying to go after the boxing legend.
You can see in video filmed by bystanders in the arena, after Gotti III was disqualified for holding in the sixth round, he attempted to still throw punches at Mayweather ... which led to several people jumping into the ring to protect the 50-0 boxer.
Chaos broke out after the Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III fight was stopped. Gotti was disqualified. 😳🥊

More than a dozen people got involved ... and while most of the scuffle featured pushing and shoving -- several punches were thrown.
Mayweather did not appear to be involved in any of the mayhem -- he was seen retreating to his corner away from all the action -- but the fracas lasted several minutes nonetheless.
Eventually, order was restored in the ring ... but that didn't stop some from misbehaving throughout the arena regardless.
As people were making their way back into the locker room area ... some were seen still going after each other -- with more punches being thrown.
Things didn't look much better in the bowels of the venue as well ... as "Love & Hip Hop" star Joseline Hernandez beat up Big Lex in a wild fight.
At some point, however, cooler heads finally prevailed ... and our sources say Mayweather actually took the time out to smooth things over with Gotti III.
We're told TBE and two others from his camp met with the boxer and chatted things over ... and there's now talks for the two to potentially rematch down the line.
As for all of the extracurricular activities ... it's unclear if any arrests were made, we've reached out to cops, but so far, no word back yet.

'L&HH's' Joseline Hernandez Arrested for Big Lex Beatdown ... During Mayweather Fight
9:17 AM PT -- Cops clearly got wind of the incident, as Joseline Hernandez was arrested early Monday on at least 4 charges including trespassing and battery. She certainly doesn't look pleased in her mug shot -- obtained by TMZ.
Floyd Mayweather might've been throwing jabs this weekend, but Joseline Hernandez was handing out haymakers backstage ... landing several on Big Lex.
The former "Love & Hip Hop" star -- dressed in light blue -- was on hand Sunday during FM's exhibition fight against John Gotti III in South Florida ... as were a ton of other Zeus Network-connected reality stars, like Big Lex for example.
Lex -- once featured on Joseline's own reality show, "Joseline's Cabaret" -- was on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown during the boxing match.
The video of her taking a whoopin' is going viral on social media right now ... and for good reason. You see Joseline holding Lex in a headlock while she wails on her -- which got so violent and tumultuous, it actually ended up leaving BL flailing and topless.
Clearly, Joseline got the better of Lex in the moment ... eventually, the women were separated. However, Joseline wasn't done using her fists -- she continued to throw punches at a bunch of different people in the vicinity (even men) ... and seemed to strike at random.
At one point, an unknown woman walking by all the commotion threw a drink in Joseline's direction ... and then got chased out of the building once JH realized where it came from.
It's unclear what precipitated the brawl -- but it obviously had Joseline in a wild state.
This wasn't the only chaos in the building that night ... another brouhaha broke out in the actual ring itself, not between the boxers -- but between their teams and management. Gotti was disqualified in the 6th for continuous holding ... and yet, he continued to battle.
Floyd's team jumped in to stop him themselves ... and that spurred an all-out rumble. Safe to say the antics made it one of the craziest sporting events anyone's seen in quite a while.

Amanda Nunes I'm The G.O.A.T. 🐐 ... Man or Woman
-

Amanda Nunes believes she is the greatest mixed martial arts fighter of all time... but if you don't, that's cool with "The Lioness."
TMZ Sports talked to 35-year-old Nunes, who is returning to the Octagon in the main event at UFC 289, and asked her who she believed was the greatest ever.
Amanda didn't mince her words ... "Me."
Of course, it's a subjective question ... it can't be definitively answered. In the wake of Jon Jones going up to heavyweight and dominating Ciryl Gane with ease, a lot of fight fans, including Dana White, have declared "Bones" Jones the greatest.
Others in the conversation are Khabib Nurmagomedov, Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and Georges St-Pierre, in addition to Nunes.
Amanda, who won back her belt vs. Julianna Pena in July, will fight 35-year-old Irene Aldana Saturday night in Vancouver. We asked Nunes, who has done everything in the sport (double champ, beaten "Cyborg", Ronda Rousey, V. Shevchenko), if retirement has entered her mind.
The short answer is no ... 'cause Amanda says she still enjoys the "feeling" of a fight, and "process" of preparing.
"I wanna keep doing this because this is what makes me alive, keeping me fresh, keeping me on my toes. I love the competitions and I don't see anything after this fight so I guess I'm gonna go through this, get my belt back home, and get right back to the next."
We also talked to Irena, who is on a mission to stop the belt from going back to Florida with Nunes, and she made it clear she isn't content with simply sharing the Octagon with Amanda. She wants to win.
And since her teammate, fellow Mexican fighter Alexa Grasso, won the belt by beating another dominant champ in Valentina Shevchenko, Aldana has faith that it's possible.
"I learned a lot from [Alexa] and I love the way she handled all these things. She had the world against her and nobody gave her a chance and she showed the world."
FYI, Grasso was a huge underdog ... and so is Aldana.
But, Alexa won ... and that's Irene's plan, too.
"[Grasso winning the belt is] a big motivation for me."

"I love you, Sheik. I love you forever."
That's Sgt. Slaughter on the death of his rival turned stable partner, and most importantly close friend, The Iron Sheik ... who passed away at the age of 81 on Wednesday.
TMZ Sports talked to the WWE Hall of Famer about his friend's passing ... from Sheik's impact on the sport (and some of its biggest stars like Hulk Hogan) to how they met decades ago.
"I met [Sheik] when he was going through the training camp in Minnesota with Verne Gagne, along with Ric Flair," Slaughter explained, talking about his first interaction in the 1970s with the Iranian-born wrestler.
FYI, Gagne was a trainer and promoter who ran the Minneapolis-based American Wrestling Association (AWA).
Sgt. says he became fast friends with Sheik and the guys even worked together at his dad's roofing company.
The Iron Sheik was one of the greatest heels pro wrestling has ever seen and, although he was playing a character, fans take this seriously. We asked Slaughter if the hate ever got to Sheik.
"Never difficult [on Sheik]. It fueled the fire. It just fueled the fire," the HOF told us.
Slaughter also talked about Sheik's love for his family -- his wife and kids.
"He was a character. I was a character. But we both had families and we loved our families."
Tragically, Sheik lost one of his daughters in the early 2000s ... and despite missing his friend, Sgt. Slaughter, fighting back tears, says he's happy knowing he'll finally be reunited with his child.
"God bless him. He's finally gonna see his daughter that he lost. Love you Sheik. Love you forever."
We discussed The Iron Sheik's legacy in a recent episode of the Last Days Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.
