Perret says it was Marc's responsibility to make sure the boat was shipshape. He says he was never warned the anchor could be so dangerous.

Michael Rapaport Baller-ish Pad Sells for $1.8 Mil

Published | Updated

Actor and die-hard basketball fanatic Michael Rapaport can trade up for a home with a REAL b-ball court now, after making a tidy profit off his L.A. home.

We're told Mike closed last weekend on his 4 bedroom, 3 bath pad in the Hancock Park neighborhood. It sold for $1.789 million. Mike purchased it about a decade ago for $1.324 mil.

The home's pretty cozy inside -- lots of natural wood, plus a huge wraparound balcony off the master suite overlooking the pool and spa.

One listing for the pad said it came with a basketball court, which is kinda true. It's really just a backboard hanging over a patio, but whatever ... someone bought it.

JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY!

Kim Kardashian's ex-bodyguard ... whose big mouth might have already cost him $30 million, is blabbling again -- this time claiming he'll gladly stop talking for the right price.

As TMZ first reported, Kim and Kanye West are threatening to sue Steve Stanulis into the stone ages for breaking his confidentiality agreement. You'll recall he did a bunch of interviews claiming he was fired for chatting up Kim on the job ... which they deny.

Stanulis seemed to laugh off the threat Thursday in Staten Island, saying he's still owed money from his last gig with the Wests -- and insinuating he never signed any agreement.

Check out the video ... which, by the way, might end up costing him another $10 million! Not smart.

As for his claim about back pay -- we're told the security company that hired Stanulis is still waiting for him to turn in an invoice and expense report. So, he's only got himself to blame.

T.I. Shootout Ruins H.S. Gig He's Too Gangsta!

Published | Updated

T.I.'s wallet got caught in the crossfire of that NYC shooting -- a huge high school graduation party thinks he's damaged goods after the violent incident ... and organizers are demanding a $55k refund.

Tip was set to perform a concert in South Florida for grads from multiple high schools on June 11. The contract was signed and promoters had sent him $55,000 to retain his services -- but then the shootout happened.

TMZ has learned promoters fired off a legal notice saying, due to the shooting, "the quality of the Talents services is not satisfactory to our Client." They added ... the event was marketed "as a safe environment for the students."

Translation: We're worried kids will get shot if you do this show.

To be fair -- T.I. and his crew had nothing to do with the NYC incident. He hadn't even taken the stage when the shots rang out.

We've reached out to T.I. ... no word yet on how he plans to respond.

According to docs, the court is telling Levi to fork over $61,915.20 to Bristol for their 7-year-old son, Tripp.

Bristol and Levi had been locked in a bitter legal war for years, but we're told they've recently hashed things out and agreed to joint custody. The back child support was the last hurdle.

Kim and Kanye Threaten Blabbing Bodyguard with $30 Mil Lawsuit

Published | Updated

7:57 AM PT -- A rep for Kim and Kanye tells us the money won't be enough ... they also want a full retraction of everything he said in the interviews.

Kim and Kanye have threatened their former blabbermouth bodyguard with a $30 million lawsuit, and he's gotta drop to his knees and apologize.

We've learned Kim and Kanye's lawyer has fired off a letter to Steve Stanulis ... the bodyguard who went to anyone who would listen, claiming he was fired for chatting up Kim on the job and making Kanye jealous. Kim and Kanye have both said it's a complete lie.

Turns out, we're told that Steve signed a confidentiality agreement promising never to breathe a word about Kim, Kanye or the klan. We're told the lawyer's letter is quick to mention a provision which says Steve is automatically on the hook for $10 mil if he opens his mouth ... and they believe he did at least 3 interviews.

It's interesting. We're told Kim and Kanye's lawyer gives Steve an out, if he shuts his trap and issues a public apology to the family. Our sources say the letter does not ask Steve to admit he lied but they demand he stop talking to the press.

Kim and Kanye think Steve's MO is simple ... it's a cheap, underhanded way to get famous. A rep for the couple tells us, "This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenet of decency with his story of lies. The Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense."

BTW ... this isn't the first time Kim and Kanye have gone after someone for violating the confidentiality agreement. TMZ broke the story, YouTube founder Chad Hurley weaseled his way into AT&T Park in SF and videotaped Kanye's marriage proposal. Chad signed a confidentiality agreement and ended up paying them $440,000.

Lynn Swann Stoked for USC Job Already Pressed About Paying Athletes

He hasn't even begun the job yet, but Lynn Swann -- the man who will take over the USC Athletic Director job -- is already getting hit with the tough questions.

Swann tried to artfully sidestep when he was asked if college athletes should get paid -- but we're guessing it won't be the last time he'll have to face the topic.

We also asked questions about the football program, but Swann wanted to make it clear, Clay Helton is still in charge. Sure he is.

Still, Swann says he's fired up to get started when he takes over for Pat Haden in July.

Kermit Washington Faces 45 Years In Prison ... For Screwing Needy Africans

Published | Updated

Ex-NBA All-Star Kermit Washington faces 45 YEARS in prison for allegedly running a scheme where he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars that were SUPPOSED to help needy people in Africa ... officials say.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 64-year-old was arrested at an L.A. supermarket on Tuesday for running a scheme to steal from an African charity he started to fund his lavish lifestyle.

Long story short ... officials say Washington would induce people, including several former pro athletes, to donate to Project Contact Africa, telling them 100% of the money would benefit a clinic in Africa for needy families.

Instead, the Dept. of Justice says he stole "hundreds of thousands of dollars" to pay for everything from rent to vacations, jewelry and entertainment.

Translation -- what a scumbag (allegedly).

He's been charged with several crimes including corrupt interference with tax laws, conspiring to commit wire fraud, obstruction and aggravated ID theft.

If convicted on all charges, Washington is looking at 45 years in prison -- though it's more likely he'd strike a plea deal and serve significantly less time (if any at all).

Washington has been released on bond -- but had to surrender his passport and wear a GPS device so authorities can keep track of him.

Yo Gotti Sues Employee Crashed My Whip On Joyride

Yo Gotti's prized $409k Lamborghini Aventador got wrecked instead of repaired when an employee at the dealership took it out for a joyride ... according to the lawsuit he just filed.

Yo Gotti is suing Motorcars of Georgia, a luxury car dealership, where he took his Lambo last October for maintenance work. It was still there in December when, according to docs ... an MOG employee took it out for an early morning spin and crashed the whip into a tractor-trailer on the interstate.

Gotti says the accident happened 20 miles away from the dealership, and he points out he never gave the dealership permission to drive his car off the lot.

Gotti talks about the car like a loved one, saying it sustained "serious physical injury."

He's suing for $80k in damages -- to the car -- plus his personal pain and mental anguish. Not to mention the money lost from not being able to use the car in music videos.

NBA's Kermit Washington Arrested In Homeland Security Investigation

Published | Updated

Ex-NBA All-Star Kermit Washington -- who famously KO'd Rudy Tomjanovich in a game in 1977 -- was arrested by federal agents today as part of an investigation involving Homeland Security, TMZ Sports has learned.

Homeland Security Investigations spokesperson Shawn Neudauer tells us, "Special agents with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) arrested former NBA player Kermit Washington in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, on a federal arrest warrant as part of an on-going investigation."

Our sources tell us the arrest -- which went down at an L.A. supermarket -- is connected to an investigation surrounding NFL Hall of Famer Ron Mix ... who pled guilty to 1 count of tax fraud just yesterday.

Officials have said Mix -- who became a workers compensation lawyer after his NFL career -- was involved in a scam where an unidentified person known as "Individual F" would refer pro athletes his way and, in exchange, Mix would make a donation to a charity called "Project Contact Africa."

Officials also claim "Individual F" was using the donations -- $155,000 from Mix alone -- for "his own personal enjoyment and to fund his lifestyle."

Officials wouldn't tell us if Washington is "Individual F" -- but Washington is reportedly credited as the founder of Project Contact Africa.

UCLA Football QB Calls BS On $280 Million Deal 'We're Still Amateurs Though'

Published | Updated

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen -- a 2016 Heisman contender -- is calling out the NCAA ... essentially saying it's BS that his school just signed a $280 MILLION endorsement deal but the players won't see a dime.

FYI, UCLA just inked the largest apparel contract in NCAA history -- with Under Armour ponying up $280 mil for exclusive rights to outfit UCLA athletics for the next 15 years.

Rosen -- pointing out the irony of the school raking in a fortune while the athletes don't get paid a cent -- reposted a newspaper headline about the deal with a snarky comment.

"We're still amateurs though ... Gotta love non-profits #NCAA."

UCLA isn't the only school to sign megadeals in the last few months -- Michigan, Texas and Ohio State have all inked 9-figure deals.

Meantime, Rosen isn't even allowed to have a hot tub in his dorm.
