The 10,000 square-foot mansion sits on 10 acres of lush grounds in Montecito ... and is being sold by a Russian billionaire.

The place is sick -- domed ceilings, 24-carat gold leaf trim, lush gardens -- but not a bullet hole in sight.

Sam Jones has been on his best behavior since he was let out of prison in 2012, so much so that a judge cut his probation short so he could go work on a new movie ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported, Jones was released from federal prison after serving 10 months following a guilty plea to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 Oxycodone pills.

Jones was offered a role in the movie version of his show "Blue Mountain State." Problem was ... the movie was shot in Montreal, and Jones couldn't enter Canada while on probation.

He wrote to the court, "I really need this freedom to practice my craft again. It's been a rough road, coming back. But I'm almost there ... I need to work on this 'Blue Mountain State' movie. I need to work as an actor again."

The judge was merciful and ended Jones' probation early ... complimenting the actor for helping young people and the homeless.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin celebrated their engagement in Malibu this weekend with a few close friends ... like Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and a little guy known as Bono.

"Glee" actor Josh Sussman says he was taken for nearly $30K ... when he tried to make a movie with a phantom production company.

Sussman claims in a lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- he made a deal with Mikel Dusi and Gold Rush Pictures to develop a feature film called, "Wally's Revenge" -- not realizing the company had been defunct for 2 years.

The actor claims he forked over $30K to help develop the project ... and says Dusi promised to return the dough within 90 days -- plus 20% -- after they got financing for the flick.

It's the oldest story in Hollywood. Sussman claims not only is Dusi refusing to return the money, Dusi had the gall to demand another $50K if Sussman wants to buy out his interest.

Elizabeth Banks may be taking her own walk of shame -- into a federal courthouse, that is -- 'cause she just got sued for allegedly ripping off a script for her latest movie, "Walk of Shame."

Dan Rosen claims he pitched the idea for a movie called "Darci's Walk of Shame" to Banks and her producer husband Max Handelman during a 3-hour meeting in 2007.

According to the lawsuit, after Rosen gave Banks and Handleman his script ... he never heard from them again.

Rosen says there are too many similarities between Banks' movie -- which came out May 2 -- and his story to be coincidental.

He says both works share similar characters and plot -- both are about a pretty blonde in her 30s who goes through a breakup, gets drunk and has a one-night stand with a younger man, then has to get to an important event wearing an inappropriate outfit from the night before.

In other words ... it's like every other rom-com script in Hollywood.

The lawyer repping the 2 clients who have accused "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sexual molestation is a disgraced, shameless fame whore who is concocting phony lawsuits so he can get in the movies ... so claims Singer's lawyer.

Legal pit bull Marty Singer has sent attorney Jeff Herman a scathing letter -- obtained by TMZ -- warning him he is going to be sued for maliciously attempting to destroy Singer's reputation and life.

Singer says both cases are baseless -- claiming the allegation by Michael Egan that the director molested him in Hawaii is absurd, because Singer wasn't even in the state during the time in question. And Singer says the allegation involving another boy -- that Singer molested him in England when he was 16 is not only false, but the age of consent in that country is 16.

Singer says Herman didn't want the facts to get in the way of his lawsuits because it would deprive him of his "moment in the spotlight."

Singers writes ... Herman was suspended by the Florida bar for "dishonesty and deceit" and these lawsuits are an attempt "to revive your career after being so publicly and embarrassingly suspended."

And Singer says ... Herman is preening for the media both to make money and "to obtain an entree into a documentary film that we understand you are seeking to promote and in which you want to be featured."

Singer is demanding that Herman immediately drop the lawsuits ... or else.

Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson parading around in bikinis did absolutely NOTHING for one man ... who claims he got swindled big-time by producers of the movie "Spring Breakers."

In a lawsuit, Wicks Walker says he put up $700K for the film, and was told producers needed his money immediately or they would lose their stars -- namely James Franco, Gomez and Hudgens

In the docs, Walker claims it's doubtful the flick would've been made without his cash.

But Walker says he hasn't seen a dime of the profits ... even though the movie has taken in just over $14 mil in the U.S. Walker claims the producers siphoned off money that should have been returned to investors ... and used it to line their own pockets.

Ben Affleck can keep doubling down and splitting Aces in Sin City ... because he just got offered a blackjack safe haven where he won't be 86'd for card counting.

Derek Stevens owns The D Casino Hotel and Golden Gate Hotel in downtown Vegas -- and he wants Ben to bring his chips from the strip without worrying about getting swooped up by security.

TMZ broke the story -- Ben was escorted out of the Hard Rock Casino last week after security labeled him an "advantage player," believing he was counting cards in blackjack.

Stevens tells us, "The D Las Vegas is not afraid of Ben Affleck winning a few hands in a row," adding, "Ben can come play blackjack and not worry about security walking him out!"

Bryan Singer and Gary Goddard have just been sued by another man who claims the showbiz honchos sexually assaulted him as a boy ... a campaign of abuse he says started when he was just 14.

The lawsuit was filed today on behalf of a John Doe -- now 25 -- who claims Goddard established an online relationship with him back in 2003, and it quickly escalated into nude video chatting. The accuser alleges Goddard masturbated during these video chat sessions.

When he was 16, the accuser alleges Goddard invited him to London where they engaged in anal intercourse. The accuser claims Singer got involved roughly a year later in 2006 following the London premiere after party for "Superman Returns."

He claims Singer and Goddard plied him with alcohol during the party and brought him back to a hotel room, where a muscular man forced him into submitting to Singer and Goddard's sexual advances.

The accuser claims he refused to have sex with Singer, so Singer asked him to sit on his chest and ejaculate instead. Singer has adamantly denied the allegations.

The lawsuit was announced during a news conference Monday by the accuser's attorney Jeff Herman, who also showed blacked-out photos of his client hanging out with Goddard and Singer on the red carpet. The alleged victim was not present during the news conference.

Herman says the accuser was inspired to come forward by his other client -- 31-year-old Michael Egan -- who is also suing Singer and Goddard (as well as others) with similar allegations of underage sex abuse.

It's the worst ride since "It's a Small World" ... a virtual reality simulator of the Titanic disaster ... and now the woman who came up with it has filed a BILLION dollar lawsuit.

Faan Qin is suing James Cameron, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and others involved in the hit film, "Titanic" ... claiming they jacked her idea for a 3D ride that recreates the magical experience of crashing into an iceberg and sinking to a watery grave.

According to the lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- Qin claims Cameron and the others copied her idea with something called "R.M.S. TITANIC-THE EXPERIENCE" -- featured in the O.C. and Orlando -- and they've have made a killing off of it.

Samuel L. Jackson likes his porn ... but he wants it for FREE ... and that's pissing off some XXX stars who accuse Sam of promoting film piracy.

Jackson -- aka Nick Fury -- was at a news conference for the new Capt. America movie when he was asked to name one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years. SLJ had a quick answer: RedTube -- the free porn sharing website.

Now some actors in the skin biz are demanding an apology from Sam ... telling TMZ RedTube is nothing more than a pirate site that allows users to illegally post stolen porn. And, they add, "Superheroes don't steal porn."

Adult actress Catalina Cruz is demanding a boycott of Jackson's films ... saying Hollywood vehemently opposes piracy of mainstream movies ... but somehow thinks it's okay for people to steal a 5-minute porn clip.

XXX actress Tanya Tate says piracy impacts her directly ... because she produces her own web content. "I would gladly send a catalog of adult movies I have directed to Mr. Jackson if he would be so kind as to recant the comment."

She adds, "I have a stack of porn for him to help him see the error of his ways."

A best-selling novelist says she's the victim of sabotage ... by a spy from within who helped Warner Bros. create the Oscar winning flick, "Gravity."

Tess Gerritsen -- who also wrote the "Rizzoli & Isles" crime books -- says she sold the rights to her book, "Gravity" in 1999 to New Line Productions ... but says efforts to develop it into a movie fizzled.

Fast forward years later ... Gerritsen says she was aware of the Sandra Bullock movie, also called "Gravity," but at first thought the similarities to her book were coincidental.

Gerritsen claims while she tried to make her book into a screenplay she wrote new material ... scenes that included a space station being demolished by debris and the female astronaut drifting untethered through space.

Gerritsen had a weird feeling about it ... and her worst fears were confirmed when she found out someone connected to her screenplay ended up working on Bullock's "Gravity."

Another reason she's pissed -- "Gravity" pulled in more than $700 million.

Gerritsen wants a piece of THAT debris, so she's suing Warner Bros.

The studio has no comment.

Bob Hoskins -- perhaps best known for his role opposite a bunch of cartoons in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" -- died on Wednesday. He was 71.

His agent told the BBC he passed away following a bout with pneumonia. Hoskins retired from acting in 2012 after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Hoskins' breakout role was in "The Long Good Friday" and he was nominated for an Oscar for "Mona Lisa." He also appeared in "Mermaids," "Hook," "Nixon" and many other films. His final role was in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

After ripping the man who accused him of sexual abuse, "X-Men" director Bryan Singer misstepped in a big way this weekend by literally sprinting out of a coffee shop to avoid our camera.

After spotting our photog, Singer hid out inside Coffee Bean in West Hollywood for roughly 30 minutes waiting for a car to arrive ... and when it did, he made a bee line for the door, swung himself into the passenger seat and peeled out into traffic.

It's a pretty basic concept ... a normal walk telegraphs the message a lot better than a dead sprint.

No good deed goes unpunished ... a lesson learned the hard way Wednesday after Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness from The Wanted were attacked by a homeless guy with a knife -- after they tried to give him money.

Sources tell TMZ, the guys were in Denver on tour earlier this week and went to see the new Johnny Depp movie "Transcendence" before their concert. We're told they were leaving the theater when they passed a homeless guy asking for money.

Our sources say Siva obliged and gave the guy a few bucks, but he demanded more. We're told the guys turned him down -- but the homeless guy wouldn't take no for an answer ... and PULLED OUT A KNIFE.

We're told the guys scuffled with the homeless man and eventually got away. Our sources say neither guy was injured and cops were not called.

The alleged murderer who said she was dating Johnny Depp ... is back on the market now that lawyers for both sides agree Johnny is not her BF -- which means he won't have to testify in the case.

TMZ broke the story ... Depp was served a subpoena at the "Transcendence" premiere because a woman named Nancy Lekon, who allegedly mowed down a lady with her limo ... told cops she was in a relationship with the actor.

Lekon's attorney thought Johnny's testimony would help cement an insanity plea, but now Depp's being spared.

The prosecution and defense are both stipulating, on the record, Johnny has zero connection to Lekon, and has no involvement in the case.
