Two days after tying the knot, Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard and his Eagles cheerleader bride Krystle Campbell took a break from enjoying their honeymoon to take part in the bizarre ritual of
trashing their wedding dress for a photo shoot in Maui on Monday.

For those who don't know, it's become somewhat of a trend for a newlywed couple to destroy the bride's expensive wedding gown -- often at a beach or lake -- and capture it on film.

Mitt Romney went on a MASSIVE (and fiscally responsible) shopping spree at a Costco near his home in La Jolla, CA this week ... stocking up on all sorts of goods ... including a product MADE IN CHINA!!!

Besides the paper plates, dixie cups, wrapping paper, V8 juice drinks, pretzel snacks, Bisquick and bottled water ... Mitt and his wife Ann also purchased a model car made by the Maisto company (probably a gift for one of his 18 grandkids ... sorry for spoiling Xmas).

TMZ spoke to a rep for Maisto who confirmed their products are manufactured in China ... before they're shipped to the distribution center in Fontana, CA.

Of course, Mitt railed against China during his bid for the presidency ... claiming the country is manipulating currency and stealing American manufacturing jobs.

As we previously reported, the two have been spending a lot of time together lately ... and took a romantic stroll around Central Park earlier this week.

If history repeats itself, "Haylor" will enjoy a few more weeks of dating bliss before things go sour, Swift writes a breakup anthem and moves on to the next unsuspecting hit maker.

Soon-to-be dad Prince William just took a big breather today in London, finally exiting the hospital where his preggo wife Kate Middleton is being treated for severe morning sickness.

William left the King Edward VII hospital moments ago with his royal entourage. The guy's been there since Kate was admitted earlier today.

Lindsay's telling friends ... Tiffany Mitchell approached her inside the club Avenue early Thursday morning to do a reading, but Lindsay turned her down -- then noticed Tiffany's friends crowding around her purse at a nearby table.

When Lindsay returned to her table, the people in Lindsay's group informed her that Tiffany's friends had swiped the purse -- a super expensive black leather Celine -- so Lindsay angrily confronted the fortune teller.

Lindsay has admitted calling Tiffany a "gypsy" but says she did not know the word is considered a slur.

Gabriel Aubry spent some long-awaited quality time with his daughter Nahla today ... for the first time since he and his baby mama Halle Berry called a truce.

The 40-year-old came back from strolling with one of his daughters to find a ticket on the windshield of his Land Rover.

Affleck is no stranger to car drama, last month he sideswiped a parked Honda ... but did the right thing and left a note with all his info.

Lindsay Lohan punched another woman in the face over Max from the boy band "The Wanted" last night ... and we've learned Max was turned off by the fact LiLo was sloppy drunk inside the club ... this according to sources at the club.

We're told ... Lindsay went to the Justin Bieber concert -- but not to see the Biebs -- "The Wanted" was the opening act ... and Lindsay has been scoping Max out for the last few days.

She's not the only one either -- on his way out of his NYC hotel yesterday, Max was swarmed by adoring female fans ... and he even kissed a few.

Sources say Lindsay tried to get backstage after the concert to see him -- but she was blocked. Fast forward to later that evening when Lindsay met up with Max, Jay and Tom at a hotel bar.

The four of them -- along with one of LiLo's friends -- then went to the club Avenue together.

As the evening wore on, we're told Lindsay got drunker and drunker ... and it turned Max off. He then started talking to another woman, which enraged Lindsay. That woman is the one Lindsay is accused of battering. (FYI -- Max was also really drunk).

Ironically, Max washed his hands of both of them -- found another girl in the club -- and went home with her instead ... while Lindsay ended up in jail.

The body of Hector "Macho" Camacho was loaded onto an airplane in Puerto Rico today -- a plane bound for the United States, where a private funeral is scheduled to be held this week.

As we reported, Camacho's mother had requested a private funeral to be held in New York City, where he will also be buried.

An open casket public viewing was held on Tuesday in PR. A private mass was held earlier this week.

Camacho passed away on Saturday from injuries he sustained during a drive-by shooting last week.

Lindsay Lohan may not have been acting like herself in the hours before her arrest ... 'cause she was fighting off a bad case of BIEBER FEVER.

Lohan attended the Justin Bieber concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC last night -- we're told she had pretty great seats, too.

It's unclear if Lohan digs Bieber's music -- or just thought the concert would be a good place to pick up chicks.

Of course, things turned pretty sour for Lohan right after the show ... when she rolled over to a Manhattan nightclub and allegedly punched a woman in the face.

Model SueLyn Medeiros -- famous for her bootylicious DUI arrest last year -- wasn't taking any risks while toasting her buns in the Bahamas yesterday ... preserving her perfect assets with some SPF daaaaaayum.

Although it appears no criminal charges will be filed against Gabriel Aubry in the Thanksgiving Day massacre of his face at Halle Berry's house ... cops on the scene concluded he was the instigator ... TMZ has learned.

According to the police report, after interviewing Gabriel, Olivier Martinez and Halle, ​the investigating officer concluded, "Suspect [Gabriel] arrived at victim's [Olivier] residence for child custody exchange. Suspect and victim engaged in verbal altercation. Suspect became upset and attempted to punch victim's head but missed and struck victim's right shoulder instead. Victim returned with 3 punches to the suspect's head, causing him to fall to the ground. Victim's fiance [Halle] notified police."

It's interesting ... Olivier and Gabriel each claimed they said nothing to incite the other, but the report concludes both were smack talking.

According to the conclusions in the police report, Olivier acted in self defense: "Victim defended himself and punched the suspect."

And law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Gabriel never told police about the alleged death threats made by Olivier both the day before and during the fight ... threats he later claimed were made by Halle's fiance. What's more, cops contacted Gabriel after the fight and asked if he had more info, and he passed. There was no mention of death threats.
