FOX News analyst Dr. Charles Krauthammer has died after a battle with terminal cancer.

Krauthammer had a cancerous tumor removed from his abdomen about 10 months ago. Doctors thought the surgery had been successful, but then he was told the cancer returned and he only had a few weeks to live. He revealed the diagnosis in

earlier this month in the Washington Post, where he was a contributor.

Charles -- who was paralyzed in a diving accident while in medical school -- won the Pulitzer for Commentary for his Washington Post columns in 1987. His book, "Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics,” was also a New York Times best seller. In recent years, he'd appeared on FOX News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier” as a panelist.

FOX News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement, “Charles was a guiding voice throughout his time with FOX News and we were incredibly fortunate to showcase his extraordinary talent on our programs. He was an inspiration to all of us and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife Robyn and his son Daniel."

The network says it will air a special in his honor on Friday night.

Despite the grim prognosis from doctors, Charles still wrote in his letter, "It was a wonderful life."

XXXTentacion may have had a child on the way at the time of his murder ... at least that's what his mom is hinting.

X's mother, Cleopatra Bernard, just posted a photo of an ultrasound with the caption, "He left us a final gift." While it's hard to imagine the photo would mean anything other than the rapper had a child on the way, Cleo doesn't provide any further detail.

It's also unclear who the child's mother is ... many are speculating it's his ex-girlfriend, Geneva, but sources close to the rapper tell us it's not her.

TMZ broke the story, X was murdered in South Florida Monday after two armed men approached his car, shooting him in broad daylight.

Kate Spade's father -- Earl F. Brosnahan -- died at his home Wednesday night ... just hours before his daughter was to be laid to rest.

According to a statement by his family ... Earl had been in failing health and was "heartbroken over the recent death of his beloved daughter." He was surrounded by family when he passed.

Kate's dad was a U.S. Navy vet who spent a large part of his life in the Midwest working for the family construction business and eventually taking it over.

According to reports, Earl was concerned about Kate's use of prescription drugs and advised her not to take them. He also said he spoke with her the night before her suicide, and she gave no indication she was in that much despair.

We broke the story ... cops investigating her suicide found a variety of anxiety meds at the scene, but no illegal drugs.

Kate's funeral is being held Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri, which is where her father passed as well. Earl was 89.

Law enforcement sources tell us NYPD officers combing through Kate's Park Avenue home came across the anxiety meds, which were prescribed to the designer. We don't know yet if Kate had taken any of the medications before she took her life.

Our sources say detectives did not come across any illegal narcotics in the home.

TMZ broke the story ... Spade had fallen into a state of depression in the months leading up to her death after her husband, Andy Spade, had asked for a divorce. The couple was living separately but, according to Andy, still had dinners and took vacations together with their 13-year-old daughter.

Kate's funeral is being held Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri ... where she was born and raised.

9:24 AM PT -- According to police docs -- obtained by TMZ -- cops pulled Williams over Wednesday night for driving without a license. The docs say he was then placed into custody for an active felony warrant ... seemingly for the murder. The warrant was signed Tuesday night, just a day after the murder.

7:39 AM PT -- Interestingly enough, Williams followed XXX on Instagram.

6:00 AM PT -- Williams has previous arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence and aggravated assault with a firearm. We previously reported he was also arrested for grand theft auto.

During an incident in 2014, Williams allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend's head. According to arrest records, he has at least 11 felonies.

XXXTentacion's alleged murderer is in custody ... TMZ has confirmed.

The suspect's name is Dedrick D. Williams, and Broward County Sheriff's Dept. took the 22-year-old into custody Wednesday evening and booked him for first-degree murder.

During a vigil Wednesday night in South Florida ... X's mother told family and friends she'd just gotten notice from police that they'd made the arrest.

Someone at the gathering mentioned there was a chase on the nearby highway I-95 ... which may have ended with cops nabbing Williams for the murder of X.

Williams was also hit with a probation violation for a previous grand theft auto charge. We're told he is being held without bail.

TMZ broke the story .... the 20-year-old rapper was gunned down Monday afternoon as he sat in his car outside a motorcycle dealer. The murder happened in broad daylight, and there were several witnesses -- some of whom reported seeing 2 masked men flee the scene.

XXXTentacion, without an ounce of doubt, will be remembered as this generation's Tupac and anyone who disagrees can kick rocks ... so says XXX's former manager, Adam Grandmaison.

We got Adam outside his popular ONSOMESHIT store Wednesday night on Melrose where our guy straight-up asked him if XXX will go down as the Tupac of this generation. As you know ... Pac's career was cut short when he was brutally gunned down in 1996 on the Vegas strip. He was 25.

Koko, the famous gorilla who made several celebrity friends, died in a California preserve on Tuesday.

The Gorilla Foundation says she died in her sleep at the organization's preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California.

Koko, a western lowland gorilla born at the San Francisco Zoo, gained fame in the '70s and '80s after Stanford University researchers taught her sign language. She mastered it, too ... using 1,000 words to communicate with humans -- and was able to understand 2,000 words of spoken English.

She was featured in National Geographic twice, and was the magazine's cover girl in 1978. The cover shot was a selfie she took in a mirror.

Koko was tight with Robin Williams and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.

Koko was 46.

Hulk Hogan and his family were "really upset" about the death of ex-WWE star Vader -- with Brooke Hogan and Nick telling us the wrestling star was a big part of their childhood.

"He was always a really nice guy," Nick told us at LAX ... "It sucks. My dad had actually wrestled him a couple of times and they had become friends over the years."

"We got up today and we heard the news and it was kind of somber. Everybody was really upset about it."

Brooke added, "My dad was very sad today."

Vader passed away earlier this week from heart complications after a bout with pneumonia. He was 63.

5:30 AM PT -- Police have arrested Dedrick D. Williams for the murder of XXXTentacion. Broward County Sheriff's Dept. took Williams into custody Wednesday evening.

Investigators working on XXXTentacion's murder seem to be homing in on a Florida rapper who posted a pic of himself packing heat Monday, not far from the crime scene.

Soldier Kidd's been widely accused online of having possible involvement in XXX's shooting death -- mostly due to a photo of himself at Hook Fish & Chicken restaurant, which is 7 minutes from where X was killed.

In the pic, you clearly see a handgun in Kidd's lap, right next to his food. It was posted within an hour of X's shooting.

We're told detectives went to Hook Fish & Chicken late Monday to collect surveillance footage -- specifically of the time Soldier Kidd was there.

There's more -- according to the dispatch audio from the shooting, one of the 2 armed men was wearing a red mask. Kidd shared a photo of himself and a friend with a red mask in the front seat of his car.

The "Triple X" isn't necessarily a reference to XXXTentacion ... since Kidd recorded a mixtape with that title.

We're told cops have also collected security footage from the motorcycle shop where the shooting went down. Police haven't named any suspects, and Soldier Kidd has denied any involvement.

XXXTentacion was shot in the neck during an alleged robbery ... and, according to one person on the scene, it appeared he died instantly.

Ex-WWE superstar Vader has died ... after a two-year battle with congestive heart failure. He was 63.

Vader's son broke the news on social media, saying, "Around a month ago my father was diagnosed with a severe case of Pneumonia. He fought extremely hard and clinically was making progress. Unfortunately, on Monday night his heart had enough and it was his time."

Vader had undergone open-heart surgery back in March and seemed to be doing well -- but his health took a turn for the worse and he wasn't able to recover.

We spoke with Vader just a few months ago -- right after his surgery -- and he told us he was feeling better and looking forward to getting out of the hospital. He was super nice to us.

Before his wrestling career, Vader -- real name Leon White -- was a football star at the University of Colorado where he was a 2-time All-American offensive lineman.

He was drafted by the Rams in the 3rd round of the 1978 NFL Draft and played in Super Bowl XIV against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As a pro wrestler, Vader was a huge star globally -- he was a 3-time WCW heavyweight champ. In WWE, he famously battled guys like The Undertaker and Kane.

He also made TV appearances on shows like "Baywatch" and "Boy Meets World."

Charlamagne tha God wants new-school rappers to learn one thing from XXXTentacion's murder -- gain better perspective about life, and talk a lot less about dying.

We got the 'Breakfast Club' cohost Tuesday night at NYC's Tribeca Film Center, and talked to him about the tragic death of the 20-year-old rapper ... who was killed by a gunman Monday in South Florida.

Charlamagne recalled the videos XXX posted, openly talking about possibly dying and also his legacy. One of them went viral after he was gunned down. X said, "If I'm gonna die, or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least 5 million kids happy."

Charlamagne says he wants to encourage young rappers to have a better point of view.

10:18 PM PT -- Officers have gained control of the situation and the crowd has almost entirely dispersed.

10:00 PM PT -- According to reports, officers fired rubber bullets and pepper bullets into the crowd after participants started to throw rocks.

Hundreds of XXXTentacion fans closed down Melrose Avenue, some risking their lives by jumping off roofs during a tribute to the rapper in Los Angeles.

Fans took to the streets Tuesday night ... climbing on top of vehicles, swarming the streets and sidewalks and scaling buildings. Some fans jumped off of roofs into crowds of people below as chants from the crowd grew louder.

A congregation of several hundred began around 8 PM ... it started peacefully but, as the crowd size grew, so did the chaos. Multiple news crews and L.A. County Sheriff's department helicopters flew above. Officers in riot gear also descended upon the crowd.

Danielle Bregoli is still taking the news of XXXTentacion's murder hard, and pleading for the violence to end.

We got Bregoli downtown L.A. -- on the set of her music video "Trust Me" with Ty Dolla $ign -- where she shed tears over XXX's murder, which Bregoli says needs to be a wake-up call for others like Tekashi69 and Trippie Red who act all big and tough.

Bregoli and XXXTentacion were good friends apparently ... something people didn't really know 'til Danielle shared a video Monday of a phone call she recorded with the late rapper. In the call, XXX apologized about something, although Danielle didn't elaborate on it.

XXXTentacion's tragic death and Rich the Kid getting beat down are reminders to all artists to watch their backs, now more than ever ... according to 6lack.

We got the "Prblms" rapper at LAX and asked him if the latest violent incidents will make up-and-comers in the music industry reconsider getting into the game. 6lack says it's clear rappers need to think twice about their safety.
