Antonio Brown Kicked Off Bucs After Shirtless Tantrum ... Rides Around With NYC Driver

6:30 AM PT -- 01/03 -- AB didn't bolt off to the airport after his infamous exit from Sunday's game -- instead, he hit up a celebrity driver to come get him ... and the NFLer was clearly in a great mood.
The driver -- Danny Chalet -- posted videos to his Instagram account ... showing AB grinning from ear-to-ear and talking on the phone after getting picked up.
But, it appears that AB was in no rush to leave town ... with Danny hinting at AB staying in the area to party.
As for any sort of official statement from Brown, the receiver posted a short message on Instagram ... saying, "Big MAD (Making A Difference). Thanks for the opportunity"
2:54 PM PT -- AB was spotted outside MetLife Stadium shortly after his exit ... wearing the same clothes he wore when arriving to the game, and his luggage by his side.
It appears he's waiting for a car service to pick him up and presumably take him to the airport ... considering there was no way the team was gonna let him fly home on the Bucs' plane.
1:16 PM PT -- Bucs head coach Bruce Arians just addressed the incident with the media ... saying Antonio Brown's career in Tampa Bay is over.

This is truly bizarre.
Antonio Brown just ripped off his jersey, ran shirtless on the field and headed for the locker room ... right in the middle of the Buccaneers' matchup against the New York Jets.
The incident happened just minutes ago ... with the 33-year-old wide receiver seemingly becoming upset on the sidelines in the third quarter as the Bucs trailed the Jets, 24-10.

Mike Evans appeared to try calming Brown down, but his efforts were unsuccessful ... as AB stripped down to just his pants and cleats and waved to the fans as he trotted through the end zone and off the field.
As it turns out, MetLife Stadium security reportedly thought AB was a streaker at first ... and initially tried to stop him before realizing he was a player.
1/2/22
AB had 3 catches for 26 yards before leaving the game.
Of course, Brown missed several games this season ... after the NFL said he faked his COVID-19 vaccination card.
No word from the Bucs on what happened Sunday ... but this will certainly be addressed after the game.

O.J. Simpson Rips Antonio Brown ... Shirtless Meltdown Was 'Total B.S.'
Here's how bad Antonio Brown's meltdown was on Sunday .... even O.J. Simpson is ripping the NFL star for his shirtless in-game antics.
Just minutes after AB threw off his jersey and pads and proceeded to quit on the Buccaneers in the middle of their game against the Jets ... O.J. took to Twitter to blast the wide receiver.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 2, 2022 @RapSheet
Simpson called Brown's actions "inexcusable," and then torched the 33-year-old for letting down Tom Brady.
"Playoffs are coming up," Simpson said. "And you pull this crap on a guy who really went out on a limb for you? It's total B.S. Inexcusable."
Bruce Arians clearly felt the same way ... the Tampa Bay head coach cut Brown immediately following the scene -- saying matter of factly, "He is no longer a Buc."
As for what kickstarted the on-field drama ... Arians told Peter King he wanted Brown to go into the game, but when the receiver refused -- the temper tantrum began.
Brown -- who eventually caught a chauffeur ride from the stadium -- didn't appear to be all that broken up over it ... he posted on his Instagram repeatedly Sunday afternoon, and even dropped a rap song in the evening.

Tom Brady NFL Issued Warning Over Tablet Smash ... Threatening Future Fine
Tom Brady's wallet did not get lighter after his infamous tablet smashing incident earlier this month ... the Bucs QB says the NFL did not fine him for hurling the electronic device.
Just over a week after Brady destroyed a Microsoft Surface in a fit of rage in Tampa Bay's loss to the Saints ... the football player told Jim Gray on the "Let's Go!" podcast that he was not punished by the league.

Brady said he was only issued a warning ... though he did say league officials told him they would fine him in the future if he does it again.
"I did get warned from the NFL on that," Brady said. "So, I won't throw another Surface."
Brady apologized for his actions ... but listen to the audio, he clearly thinks he actually helped Microsoft by chucking the device into the turf.
"I think it was pretty good marketing for the surface at the end of the day," Brady said with a laugh. "I think it worked out pretty well for them."
Microsoft -- which has been the NFL's tablet since 2014 -- had some fun over the incident as well, tweeting instructions about how to care for the device after Brady threw it.
As for Brady's temper this week, he's much happier now ... 'cause after he and the Bucs lost to the Saints, they rebounded to smoke the Panthers on Sunday.

"To be honest," Mariah said Monday, "it makes me wanna throw up and cry and smash a window all at once."

The 25-year-old needed to be helped off the field ... and tests revealed his knee injury was so severe, he'd be done for the rest of Tampa's 2021 season.
Mariah says he's heartbroken over it all ... writing in a statement, "If you know Chris at all you know why this is just gut wrenching."
"This man loves his team and loves what he does and f***ing LOVES working to be the greatest he can possibly be."
Mariah -- who married the Pro Bowler in May 2021 -- says his suffering has made her sick ... adding that even their pet dog, Piggy, "does not like seeing Chris like this."
But, Mariah -- who made soup for the injured star on Monday night to make sure he gets proper nutrients to kick off his road to recovery -- promised Chris would make every effort to be back better than ever in 2022.
"You're only down if you stay down and it's no staying down around here," Mariah said of Chris, who's slated to be a free agent after the season ends.
"Nothing but progress, positivity and poise. I got you and I love you."

Antonio Brown No More Beef With Ex-Cook ... Chef Claims NFL Star Has Settled Debt
The chef who accused Antonio Brown of stiffing him out $10K will no longer be pursuing a lawsuit against the NFL star ... 'cause he says AB has settled the debt.
A rep for Steven Ruiz, who owns TasteThatLA in Los Angeles, tells TMZ Sports ... the two parties reached an agreement recently and both sides are now moving on.
"Both parties were satisfied," the rep said. "After two months of being slandered in the press, Mr. Ruiz felt it was in his best interest to move forward and attend to his clients' needs for their Christmas parties this week. He wished the best to AB and the Bucs as they head toward the playoffs."
It's unclear if Brown was required to pay more than $10K to settle the dispute.
We've reached out to Brown's attorney for comment, but so far, no word back yet.
As we previously reported, Ruiz -- who cooked for Brown in the months leading up to the 2021 season kickoff -- was so scorned after his interactions with the football player, he went public with his accusations that AB had submitted a fake COVID vaccine card to the NFL.
The league investigated the claims and said after it wrapped the probe that it had found validity to Ruiz's story -- and suspended Brown three games.
Ruiz told us after the ban was announced that he was preparing to sue Brown.
Seems it's all water under the bridge now, though ... and Brown is eligible to return to the Buccaneers for their game against the Panthers this weekend.

A study of Vincent Jackson's brain showed the former NFL star was suffering from stage 2 CTE ... Jackson's family and medical experts revealed Thursday.
Dr. Ann McKee, the expert at Boston University who conducted the study on Jackson's brain, said the ex-Tampa Bay receiver had "multiple areas of the brain that were affected on both sides of the brain."
McKee noted to "Good Morning America" that oftentimes that level of the disease can lead to "violent behaviors" as well as depression and mood swings.

Jackson's widow, Lindsey Jackson, said in an interview with 'GMA' that she believes it all helps explain how the 38-year-old was found dead in a Florida hotel room back on Feb. 15, 2021.
"In his mind," Lindsey said, "it would have explained why he couldn't fix anything."
Lindsey noted that prior to his death, Vincent was dealing with memory issues and was lashing out often -- and needed alcohol to "feel calm."
She said Vincent told her his brain was "fuzzy" ... but said the booze made it feel "not fuzzy."
Lindsey said in a statement Thursday she's choosing to go public with the diagnosis in order to help others who may be dealing with similar issues.
What's interesting ... Lindsey noted Vincent had never been formally diagnosed with a concussion in his 12-year NFL career.
Autopsy results for Jackson -- who would have turned 39 in January -- are expected to be released later Thursday.

Antonio Brown's Chef I'm Going To Sue AB ... He Still Owes Me $10K!!!

The chef who told the NFL that Antonio Brown faked his COVID vaccine card is now planning to sue the Buccaneers star ... saying the wide receiver still owes him $10,000.
Steven Ruiz spelled it all out to TMZ Sports this week ... saying after the NFL ruled he wasn't lying about Brown's bogus vaccine card --- he's planning to move forward with a lawsuit against AB.
"The game plan now is to file a lawsuit and take it from there," Ruiz said. "People provide a service and you've got to pay for it. That's it."
As we previously reported, Ruiz said he cooked for Brown regularly this past year ... but when it came time to pay a bill for it all, AB balked.
Ruiz said Brown owed him $10K, but he couldn't get the cash from the football player -- even after talking with Brown's attorney.
So, Ruiz ended up going public with his claims that Brown had sought and obtained a fake vaccine card and then later submitted it to the NFL.
The league investigated the claims ... and said it found Brown did misrepresent his vaccine status, and then suspended him three games without pay, costing him over $100K in lost salary.
Ruiz tells us if Brown had just paid up, he probably would've stayed quiet.
"If he had just probably paid me, you know what? He probably would still be getting paid in the NFL right now," Ruiz said. "He'd probably be playing the games that he could be playing and none of this would have even happened."
As for Brown, he's claimed through his attorney, Sean Burstyn, that he is vaccinated ... although the NFL says Brown will not appeal his suspension.

Antonio Brown Suspended 3 Games ... After NFL Says He Faked COVID Vaccine Card

1:34 PM PT -- Burstyn just released another statement in the wake of the NFL's suspension, saying, "Mr. Brown is vaccinated and continues to support the vaccine for any person for whom it is appropriate."
"The NFL made its determination and, instead of going through the drawn out and distracting process of challenging the outcome, Mr. Brown wrapped this up promptly and he will make this most of this time by treating his ankle injury."
Burstyn continued, "Mr. Brown will be motivated, well rested, and in the best shape of his life when he returns in week 16."
The NFL says Antonio Brown did, in fact, submit a bogus vaccine card to the league ... and officials just announced he's now been suspended three games over it all.
Brown's chef, Steven Ruiz, claimed last month that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star had sought and then obtained the fraudulent paper back in July -- but Brown was adamant Ruiz was lying.
In a statement, Brown's attorney, Sean Burstyn, said the 33-year-old was vaccinated and did have proper paperwork ... adding, "Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine."
But, the NFL said in a statement of its own on Thursday that after investigating the claims ... it found Brown did "misrepresent" his vaccine status, explaining their review "supported" the allegations made against AB.
The league said Brown has now been banned from playing for the next three games -- adding that Brown has "accepted the discipline" and will not appeal.
The NFL also revealed two other players -- Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards and former Tampa Bay receiver and current free agent John Franklin III -- also misrepresented their vaccine statuses and were also suspended three games.
Brown has been out of the Bucs' lineup since October while battling an ankle injury, but prior to that, he had been shining with Tom Brady -- scoring four receiving TDs in five games.

Vita Vea -- Tom Brady's teammate and arguably the Bucs' best defensive player -- needed both an ice bath AND a trip to the dentist after Tampa's game Sunday ... 'cause he lost a tooth in the middle of a play!!!

You can see in footage of the play, as Vea was putting pressure on the passer -- a Colts O-lineman stuck his helmet right into the big nose guard's mouth ... causing a tooth to pop out!
Cameras caught the little piece of Vea flying out of the 6-foot-4, 346-pounder's face -- and, yeah, it was gnarly.
Vea, though, took the shot like a champ -- and, in fact, when he got to the sideline, he was all smiles ... drinking water and laughing with teammates!!

Antonio Brown I Didn't Fake My COVID Vaccine Card ... Allegations Aren't True

2:39 PM PT -- The Buccaneers just said in a statement they reviewed all of their players' cards -- presumably including Brown's -- and "no irregularities were observed."
— Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@Buccaneers) November 18, 2021 @Buccaneers
Antonio Brown is calling BS on his former chef ... saying he did NOT submit a fake COVID vaccine card to the NFL.
The chef, Steven Ruiz, told the Tampa Bay Times Brown sought and then obtained the fraudulent paper back in July ... but a rep for Brown says it's just flat-out not true.
In a statement to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Brown's attorney, Sean Burstyn, said the Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver is, in fact, vaccinated -- and does, in fact, have valid paperwork.
Spoke with Antonio Brown’s attorney Sean Burstyn, who maintains that Brown is, in fact, vaccinated. He said, “Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine.” https://t.co/VogdCgFZ93
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 18, 2021 @RapSheet
"Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine," Rapoport says Burstyn told him.
Ruiz had told the Times that he had a text message exchange from Brown's girlfriend, Cydney Moreau, that helped prove the case against Brown.
In the messages, which Ruiz says were sent on July 2 -- less than a month before the Bucs opened training camp this summer -- Ruiz says Moreau told him Brown was searching for bogus cards.
"Can you get the covid cards," Ruiz claims Moreau said.

"I can try," Ruiz responded.
"JNJ shot," Ruiz said Moreau added. "Ab said he will give you $500."
Ruiz claims Brown was looking for a Johnson & Johnson version because it's just one shot -- and therefore would be less paperwork and much easier to sneak past NFL officials.
Ruiz says he was unable to get AB the card ... but he claims Brown was able to land fake ones for himself and Moreau a few weeks later nonetheless.
Ruiz says Brown actually showed him the fake papers ... and said Brown's trainer, Alex Guerrero, was the one who ultimately submitted AB's paperwork to the team (though Ruiz says he believes Guerrero did not know it was a fake).

It should be noted Ruiz has issues with Brown, with the chef claiming the two had a falling out over $10,000 that Ruiz says Brown never paid him.
Reps for the Bucs have yet to comment on the situation.
Brown, meanwhile, did miss Tampa's Week 3 game earlier this season due to COVID ... but recovered and played in the following three games before an ankle injury on Oct. 14 put him on the shelf.

Jason Garrett just unloaded the highest compliment possible on Tom Brady ... saying the Bucs quarterback is the best football player "that's ever walked."
The Giants offensive coordinator laid down the praise for the Tampa Bay superstar at his weekly press conference Thursday ... just three days before NY plays TB12 in Florida.
"They're going to make a Mt. Rushmore of football players at some point," the former Dallas Cowboys head coach said. "And, the first face they chisel will be that guy's face."
"He's the best that's ever walked."
Garrett continued, "He's a hell of a football player. What he's done over the last 20 years has been remarkable. And, to think he's 44 years old and probably playing the best ball of his career, it's really amazing."
The admiration is lofty ... but, of course, it's probably deserved.
Tom, after all, has been to 10 Super Bowls -- winning seven of them -- and could potentially win his FOURTH MVP award following this season. He's also been selected to 14 Pro Bowls.
"He's an inspiration to everybody," Garrett said. "In and out of sports."
Garrett and the Giants will face Brady on "Sunday Night Football" this weekend.

We got the Tampa Bay Bucs superfan on Wednesday ... and he made it clear, he's not feeling down in the dumps one bit about giving away TB12's 600th TD ball on Sunday -- even after half a week to think about his decision.
"I think I did the right thing," Kennedy said. "I'm happy Tom has it."

Kennedy, though, has since been rewarded for his troubles ... the team hooked him up with tickets and swag, and Brady and Rob Gronkowski have since sent him cryptocurrency as well.

FYI -- one bitcoin is currently worth roughly $62,000 ... which still ain't $500k, but at least it's getting closer!
3:22 PM PT -- It turns out the fan who ended up with Tom Brady's 600th tuddy got quite the hookup from the Bucs ... 'cause he's getting a bunch of awesome swag in return for the pigskin.
The lucky fan is getting two signed jerseys AND a helmet from Mr. Brady himself, a Mike Evans autographed jersey and game-worn cleats and $1,000 to the team store, TMZ Sports has confirmed.
But, that's not all -- the fan is also getting 2 season tickets to the remainder of this season and next season ... so he's getting even more opportunities to get another TB12 ball.
It's still not half a milli, but it's an awesome move by the Bucs.
The guy who gave back Tom Brady's 600th TD pass ball might have cost himself a small fortune ... 'cause one memorabilia expert says the pigskin was worth at least $500K!!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jon Gruden Pulled From Ring Of Honor ... Skechers Drops Coach
-
Breaking News

2:55 PM PT -- The Buccaneers have followed in Skechers' footsteps and cut ties with Gruden as well ... announcing Tuesday the coach will no longer be recognized in Tampa Bay's Ring of Honor.
"While we acknowledge Jon Gruden's contributions on the field," the team said, "his actions go against our core values as an organization."
"Therefore, he will no longer continue to be a member of the Buccaneers Ring of Honor."
Gruden coached the Bucs from 2002 to 2008 ... winning one Super Bowl with the team.
First, Jon Gruden lost his job ... now, he's lost his biggest sponsorship too.
Skechers has terminated its contract with the former Las Vegas Raiders head coach ... after learning the 58-year-old wrote racist, homophobic and misogynistic emails from 2011 to 2018.
"Skechers is aware of the recent press reporting on the emails of Jon Gruden, which caused him to resign his N.F.L. coaching position," a spokesperson for the shoe giant said in a statement Tuesday.
"Upon learning of these developments, we immediately terminated Mr. Gruden’s endorsement contract and our affiliation with him."
Gruden had been one of the faces of Skechers, appearing in ads for the company for the past several months.
"Skechers believes in equality, fostering tolerance, and understanding for all people," the spokesperson said. "It is at the core of who we are as a global lifestyle brand and why we have a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior within our business including those with who we formally work with."
