The door that blew off a Boeing 737 Max airplane during an Alaska Airlines flight appeared to be missing bolts that are supposed to keep the panel secured ... per a new report.

In a preliminary report from its investigation, the NTSB says four bolts meant to lock the door to the body of the plane were removed by Boeing to fix another issue and appear not to have been replaced.

The NTSB says the bolts were removed at a Boeing factory when the door was opened as part of a repair on damaged rivets on the plane's fuselage.

It's unclear who removed the bolts, the NTSB report doesn't say, though the safety board says it looks like at least 3 and possibly all 4 bolts were never reinstalled after the rivet repair.

The NTSB says Boeing removed the bolts for a September repair and there's no evidence the door was ever opened again before the 737 Max was delivered in October to Alaska Airlines.

As we reported ... the door blew off back in January, shortly after Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 took off from Portland International Airport.

The plane, which was packed with passengers, had to make an emergency landing.

Boeing's 737 Max planes were grounded as airlines checked the bolts on the doors ... and the aircraft was only recently given the green light to get back up in the sky, despite some saying it was too early.

A cross-country road trip nearly turned fatal for one driver ... when he stopped to fill up, an out-of-control pickup truck crashed through a gas station pump ... feet away from his car.

Ya gotta see the video ... dash cam footage shows a car pulling into a gas station when suddenly a pickup comes barreling through, running over a gas pump and igniting a fiery explosion.

The pickup keeps on trucking as it plows over the gas pump ... knocking down the gas station canopy, which comes crashing down in front of the driver as he slams on the brakes.

"Oh my f******, God!!!" screams the driver as the crash unfolds in front of him at a Speedway gas station in La Plata, New Mexico.

The guy who took the dash cam video says the incident happened Feb. 4 on his cross-country road trip from Seattle to Mississippi.

He says he reported the incident to the local Sheriff and gave police the video for documentation.

As for the reason behind the crash, the guy says cops told him the pickup truck driver was having a seizure.

Conservatives are up in arms over Netflix's depiction of Alexander The Great as a gay man in their new docuseries ... despite a long-standing belief that the dude was definitely bi.

The "End Wokeness" X account -- widely known in right-wing circles -- took offense to ATG, played by Buck Braithwaite, passionately kissing his pal/ potential lover Hephaestion early in the first episode of "Alexander: The Making of a God".

The account wrote, "Netflix made a new documentary about Alexander The Great. Within the first 8 minutes, they turned him gay."

Despite the indignation from the conservative-leaning account -- not to mention from its followers -- even more people were quick to point out ... Alexander is widely considered to have been something other than just straight-up heterosexual, even by historians.

Worth noting ... the legendary conqueror was also depicted as bisexual in the 2004 film, "Alexander", played by Colin Farrell. So ... this whole idea of him being bisexual ain't new.

Funny enough, X even fact-checked the comments themselves ... under the initial post, it was noted ancient historians and scholars had widely accepted Alexander was bisexual and believed to have had long-standing intimate relationships with both men and women.

It fell on deaf ears, though ... the account doubled down on their outrage, writing: "It's still unproven speculation and should definitely not be shoved into the first 8 minutes."

The streamer dropped the 6-part docudrama on Jan 31 ... unveiling ATG's radical transformation of the conqueror from an exiled young man to his obsession with defeating the mighty Persian Emperor Darius ... which allowed him to conquer the known world in just under 6 years.

Interviews with historians and plenty of dramatic reenactments bring the series to life ... and of course, there's a heavy focus on ATG's sexual orientation.

Professor Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones of Cardiff University in Wales says in the first episode that same-sex relationships were quite the norm throughout the Greek world and Dr. Salima Ikram of the American University of Cairo adds Hephaestion wasn't just Alexander's cherished companion but perhaps his "greatest love."

Aquí es donde vienen las quejas. Nos dicen que la gente en el avión no se molestó tanto por el accidente en sí (cosas que pasan después de todo) mayor problema fue la respuesta tan lenta ante la situación.

Testigos presenciales nos dicen que los auxiliares de vuelo tardaron unos 10 minutos en acercarse a comprobar que el perro había hecho caca y que había excrementos por todos los asientos y el suelo.

Nos dicen que la gente estaba literalmente estaba sintiendose mal por el olor, y mientras que un asistente finalmente se acercó a tratar con el problema, testigos presenciales dicen que tomó demasiado tiempo y simplemente no se trató adecuadamente. 12:21 PM PT -- A United Airlines spokesperson tells TMZ ... "Our inflight crew thoroughly cleaned the area shortly after customers brought this to our attention. We provided sanitizing wipes and offered travel vouchers to those in the surrounding area."

A United Airlines flight that touched down on the West Coast stunk to high heaven some 30,000 feet in the air ... all because of some dog doo-doo that spilled out into the open.

Check out this footage of UA Flight 498, which was taken Monday night traveling from Denver to Portland ... where a handful of unlucky passengers, we're told, were subjected to the sweet smell of caca right in the middle of the journey, which is visible here.

Here's what we're told happened, per eyewitnesses on the scene ... a woman who'd apparently been flying most of the day -- coming from Cincinnati -- was traveling with a pooch in a crate ... which we're told was a female chihuahua.

At some point in the flight, we're told this woman took the dog out of its crate because it was fussy -- and that's when the pup opened up its bowels and blasted crap all over the place.

This is where the complaints come in -- we're told people on the plane weren't so much bothered by the accident itself (s*** happens after all) ... but the bigger issue we're told passengers were dealing with was the alleged slow response to this whole situation.

Eyewitnesses tell us it took flight attendants a good 10 minutes to even come over and address the fact the dog had pooped -- and that there was feces all over the seats and floor.

We're told people were literally getting sick having to sit through this mess -- and while an attendant eventually came over to deal with it ... eyewitnesses say it took way too long, and just wasn't dealt with properly/in a timely fashion. We're also told passengers in the immediate area were offered flight vouchers between $50-$75 ... and nothing more at the moment.

Taylor Swift's loyal supporters think they've got a new theory about her all figured out -- and based on the clues, they might be on to something ... namely, a possible Coachella drop-in.

Here's the deal ... with Tay Tay announcing her new album last night during the Grammys -- "The Tortured Poets Department" -- Swifties have been kicked into high gear with speculation that her release date, April 19, is no coincidence ... especially considering who she came onstage with later in the evening during her Album of the Year win.

Of course, we're talking about Lana Del Rey ... who was among a small group of people who joined T-Swift at the end of the show when she accepted her big award.

Taylor insisted on dragging her up there ... not to mention pouring on a ton of praise -- calling Lana an absolute legend and giving her her flowers and then some in her speech.

It's because of this strong friendship that people are thinking Taylor might hop onstage during Lana's headlining set at Coachella in April -- it's well-known at this point, the moody crooner is going to handle Friday night duties, including a big Weekend 2 set on Fri. April 19.

What a coinkidink ... that also just happens to be the day Taylor's dropping her project!

Some are suggesting Taylor's gonna take the opportunity to make a big splash to get people to listen -- which she could most certainly do without Coachella ... but something like that would absolutely break the Internet, and that's exactly what many believe will happen.

If Taylor does hit the main stage at Coachella ... it'll be her first time there, as she's never headlined before -- and she hasn't made a guest appearance either in all these years.

The comedian just took to the Grammys stage to perform his opening monologue -- during which he stayed real positive and complimentary -- before mentioning the world's biggest pop star and chastising NFL fans for blaming Taylor for the amount football broadcasts cut to her.

Noah said she doesn't control the cameras, so people need to chill out ... before insisting that every time someone mentioned Swift, he'd make sure the cameras cut to an ex-NFL player.

The camera then jumped ... to actor and "America's Got Talent" host Terry Crews, who looked totally surprised by the attention.

If you don't know, TC wasn't always an actor -- he played 32 NFL games for three teams between 1991 and 1995 ... the perfect person for TN to use in his revenge plan.

"Foodgod" Jonathan Cheban's not letting Fontainebleau Vegas off the hook -- even though the resort's updated its much-maligned nachos, he has a different plan for upping their appetizer game.

We got the reality TV personality/foodie out in NYC this week and asked him about Fontainebleau's viral nacho debacle. He was actually at the hotel's opening night, and while he complimented most of the menu options ... he went scorched earth on the nachos.

ICYMI, the meager nacho offering went viral after a pic of the plate, priced at $24, ended up on social media. The unappetizing dish caused a frenzy on X, and 'Bleau ultimately redid their nachos and posted an updated pic, trying to do some damage control.

JC's very clear on where the hotel went wrong ... saying the chef should've invited him into the kitchen to design a truly over-the-top nacho plate.

As for whether nachos should even be on a five-star menu, the "Foodgod" is unequivocal -- it all depends on what you put on those bad boys! He was generous enough to offer up a few ingredients to make high-class gourmet nachos. Pay attention, Fontainebleau!!!

The Los Angeles Police Department announced Saturday they've arrested Sadie Slater ... a 21-year-old L.A. resident on a robbery charge for her alleged involvement in the crime. Her bail is set at $70,000, according to the LAPD.

We've confirmed the arrest with law enforcement sources ... who added they've been trying to find out the dog's location from the suspect.

Remember ... the victim Ali Zacharias was eating lunch in DTLA last month when a woman came up, grabbed her dog Onyx's leash, and started to walk away with him. Ali gave chase before the alleged thief jumped into a car.

AZ leaped onto the hood of the thieves' getaway car and was driven around for several blocks, fearing for her life before the vehicle made a sharp turn and loosed her from the front.

We spoke with Ali earlier this week ... who told us police were starting to take her case seriously when all of the media attention spotlighted it.

Well, cops are certainly taking it seriously ... with their first suspect in custody.

Demi Lovato sang a song of hers that certainly might've seemed inappropriate at an event all about heart health -- but as it turns out ... that's not how it was received in the room.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Demi singing her track "Heart Attack" earlier this week at the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection concert might be getting roasted online ... but it was the exact opposite from folks there in the moment.

We're told the AHA fully backed Demi's decision to belt out this tune -- in fact, they encouraged her to sing the song -- which you can see in the clip making the rounds.

As for why our Demi sources feel like it wasn't offensive or out of touch -- as many on X have suggested -- we're told it's because Demi has reclaimed this song and its meaning ... especially in light of her own health scare following an overdose in 2018.

In the wake of that, Demi has sung this song with new significance behind it ... and it's that same sentiment that was carried over in her performance Wednesday -- one that our sources tell us got rave reviews in the moment from those in the room.

We're told Demi also acknowledged her connection to the song ahead of the performance ... telling the audience: "[T]his song has many parallels for me, my journey and a reminder for all of us in the room just how strong the mind-heart-body connection truly is."

Anyhoo, this should hopefully clarify any confusion from those who were scratching their head about the song choice ... not only was it the right song, but her heart was in the right place.

We talked to the Instagram model about her recent viral "petition" about rejiggering the configuration of flights -- so that seating areas are larger, for people of size to fit comfortably -- and while she admits it was half-jokey ... there was some truth to what she was arguing for.

As she explains to us here ... this issue is actually quite pervasive, and it often gets turned into one big punchline at the expense of people who are truly struggling with it.

Yes, she's got a big butt ... something she says she can't help, and for which she shouldn't be punished either -- that's her argument anyway.

She also says people chiming in with mean/hurtful comments aren't helping either ... and she thinks companies should be more thoughtful about customers of shapes and sizes.

Gracie says she's actually used to buying two seats to deal with this problem -- and figured a first-class flight would solve it -- but to her dismay, it didn't ... and she now realizes that some major changes need to be instituted to address this very real problem. No, she's not kidding.
