Hero Cat is suddenly the Kate Upton of the pet world -- getting offers to appear on magazine covers and receive some fancy awards ... TMZ has learned.

Hero -- real name Tara -- became an Internet superstar thanks to that awesome video of her rescuing her owner's young boy from a vicious dog attack ... and now Cat Fancy (aka feline Vogue) wants a piece of her.

A rep for Cat Fancy mag tells us they desperately want Tara on an upcoming cover -- and they're even sweetening the offer ... to let her owners write an article to go with the photo spread.

And there's this ... Cat Fanciers' Association says it plans to present Tara with its first-ever Cat Hero Award at its upcoming awards show. Tara's owners haven't respond to either offer yet.

The bizarre story of Casey Kasem gone missing has a happy ending, for now at least ... he's been located.

Kasem was found in Washington state, three days after an L.A. judge expressed deep concern over the iconic radio host’s whereabouts.

Santa Monica police Sgt. Mario Toti said Kasem was located by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday. Kasem's children had filed a missing person's report earlier in the day.

The "Top 40" host has been in poor health in recent years. Kasey's wife Jean had been in control of his medical care and had blocked his three children from a previous marriage from seeing him.

The judge stripped Jean of her power over Casey on Monday, giving Casey's daughter Kerri temporary conservatorship over her dad.

Casey -- who hosted "America's Top 40" for years ... suffers from dementia.

11:34 AM PT -- We're told the dog was picked up Tuesday by animal control -- in an extremely aggressive state -- and a decision has been made to euthanize the animal.

Let's be honest, most cats don't do squat, but this feline from Bakersfield,CA is the exception ... after it ran to the aid of a young boy being attacked by a dog ... and scared the vicious animal away. MEOW!!!!

Check out this surveillance video from Tuesday afternoon ... you can see the boy riding his bike in front of the home when the dog comes around from behind an SUV and drags the boy off his tricycle by his leg.

The dog wrestles with the boy's leg for just a few moments until the HERO CAT comes flying in ... knocking the dog off the boy before chasing the canine away.

The boy's parents say he needed a few stitches after the attack (you can see his injuries below) but overall, he's doing fine. According to local reports, the dog belonged to a neighbor and is now under investigation.

It looked like a replay of the Balloon Boy fiasco ... but this time 2 boys were seriously injured when they fell out of a children's bounce house that got lifted 20 feet in the air by strong winds.

It all went down in South Glens Falls in upstate New York ... where cops say the two boys (ages 5 and 6) both suffered serious injures. They were airlifted to Albany Medical Center and their current condition is unknown.

WNYT says parents told them one boy landed on a parked car and the other landed on asphalt. There was a third child in the house when it went airborne, a 10-year-old girl, but she was apparently uninjured.

While police said the house was blown 20 feet in the air, WNYT says it was more like 50.

Police say the bounce house was staked into the ground and several adults were present at the time. Right now police say they are viewing the incident as a "tragic accident" and don't expect any charges to be filed.

Christ Bearer is finally breaking his silence about why he cut off his penis before jumping out a window ... telling TMZ it was depression over not being able to see his daughters that drove him to commit the insane act.

Oh, and he also got his penis back. We'll get to that later ...

C.B. -- part of the Wu-Tang affiliate Killa Beez -- tells TMZ that night last month was a rough one for him. He says he was feeling super alone ... unable to see his two daughters because of restraining orders and a third child on the way.

C.B. tells us he started to smoke weed and read a book about monks and vasectomies. C.B. says it felt like his world was collapsing, and with the thoughts of kids and vasectomies in his head ... he decided to take matters into his own hands. Clearly, it did not turn out well.

But there was a happy ending. C.B. says plastic surgeons were able to reattach his manhood and he has regained full functionality ... though he might not be able to have kids. So ... mission accomplished?

As for his future with Wu-Tang, he'd only say, "I am the f***ing Wu Tang."

Vatican City has at least one porn lover on the loose -- someone who's frequently logging on to a popular porn website ... and TMZ has learned there's a good chance it's a woman.

The site is called sssh.com ... which bills itself as porn for "open-minded women who enjoy exploring their sexuality" -- and a rep for the site tells us a routine check of data revealed the IP address of one their members leads back to the Vatican.

We're told the user (or users) visited the site at least once a month for the past year, with November 2013 being an especially busy month ... with 19 visits!

The rep for sssh.com tells TMZ, "It just shows that a healthy interest in erotica is something that can be found anywhere -- even within the Vatican."

It's all fun and games until someone gets hit in the head with a shovel ... but TMZ has learned police are investigating the infamous "shovel girl" video ... and assault charges now loom.

By now you've seen the video ... two girls are fighting when one grabs a shovel and throws it at the other ... nailing her in the back of the head as she hightails it out.

Now a rep for the Miami County Sheriff's office in Ohio tells TMZ ... they've assigned a deputy to investigate after they were contacted by the girls' high school. Maj. Steve Lord tells TMZ ... the girl who threw the shovel could be charged with assault or disorderly conduct.

"Instagram's Biggest Playboy" can add Instagram's biggest dumbass to his resume -- the guy threw a FULLY NAKED porn star off the roof of a Hollywood Hills mansion into a pool ... breaking her foot in the process ... and it was all caught on tape.

Dan Bilzerian -- a millionaire pro poker player famous for his extravagant IG photos -- was doing a shoot for Hustler magazine on Wednesday with 19-year-old Janice Griffith when he got the brilliant idea to cup Griffith's vagina ... and throw her headfirst into the pool. From the roof.

Needless to say, things didn't go as planned -- Janice later tweeted from the hospital, "I broke my foot today."

The alleged murderer who said she was dating Johnny Depp ... is back on the market now that lawyers for both sides agree Johnny is not her BF -- which means he won't have to testify in the case.

TMZ broke the story ... Depp was served a subpoena at the "Transcendence" premiere because a woman named Nancy Lekon, who allegedly mowed down a lady with her limo ... told cops she was in a relationship with the actor.

Lekon's attorney thought Johnny's testimony would help cement an insanity plea, but now Depp's being spared.

The prosecution and defense are both stipulating, on the record, Johnny has zero connection to Lekon, and has no involvement in the case.

Robin Roberts picked up some unexpected side-effects -- good and bad -- when she got a life-saving bone marrow transplant 2 years ago ... and says it's all her sister's fault.

Robin's sis Sally-Ann donated the bone marrow to help Robin treat a rare blood disorder.

The transplant gave Robin a fresh infusion of stem cells ... but Wednesday in NYC -- she told us she also inherited some of her sister's physical traits.

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin went absolutely CRAZY during a show Wednesday night ... throwing his microphone into the crowd during a ridiculous on-stage meltdown.

It's unclear what caused Scantlin to lose it during the Dallas show (some reports say fans were upset because it appeared he was lip-syncing) but it was epic.

Scantlin's mic tossing might have injured a fan -- we're told paramedics were called to tend to an injured concertgoer. Medics won't say what the caused the injury, but TMZ spoke to several witnesses who pinned it on the flying mic.

Bad: Tracy Morgan says he farted on Kate Upton once.

Worse: He's pretty sure she smelled it.

Awesome: HE DOESN'T GIVE A CRAP WHO KNOWS!!

Morgan broke the ... uh .. news ... while taking part in a Reddit AMA Thursday ... after someone asked, "who is the most famous person you have farted around that you are definitely sure smelled it?"

Morgan immediately replied, "Kate Upton."

We did some digging on when the crop-dusting could've gone down ... and our best guess is when they got together back in January so Tracy could teach her a Super Bowl endzone dance.

Wu-Tang affiliated rapper Andre Johnson is just plain Andre now ... because doctors weren't able to reattach his penis.

TMZ broke the story Johnson -- aka Christ Bearer -- cut his penis off Wednesday morning and then jumped off his 2nd floor North Hollywood apartment balcony. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but we're told the penis was a lost cause.

Johnson/Christ Bearer is a member of the group Northstar, which was founded by Wu-Tang Clan member RZA. We're told RZA hasn't done work with the group for several years.

Johnson/Christ Bearer is remarkably in stable condition.

As we reported ... several rappers were present during the horrific scene. They say they were not doing any drugs that would cause such a thing. They believe Johnson/Christ Bearer may have mental issues.

Demand is going through the roof for gymnastics-strength shower rods -- all thanks to "Love & Hip Hop" star Mimi Faust's sex tape acrobatics -- and Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, and Walmart are struggling to keep up.

We called employees at each of the major retailers (from Georgia to Cali) and we're getting the same story -- ever since the trailer for Mimi's sex tape came out, people have been racing to purchase their own super-strong shower rods to recreate the Mimi experience.

And supplies are running out -- a customer at one Home Depot in Georgia tells us, they were totally sold out of Mimi-strength shower rods.

This is a real thing -- a Twitter search for "Mimi shower rod" shows an endless list of people trying to get their hands on one. There's even a Twitter account dedicated to it (@MimiShowerRod). And don't even get us started on the Vine videos.

We reached out to officials at Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, and Target -- no word back so far.
