Britney Spears had a delicious meal at The Cheesecake Factory and best of all it was FREE ... because she skipped out without paying the bill.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Britney and BF David Lucado were at the Thousand Oaks, CA restaurant where they had an appetizer and a salad.

At the end of the lunch the waitress came over with the $30 bill, and Britney said her security guy would pay it. She and David then walked out -- with a doggie bag.

Problem is ... security never paid.

Britney's people tell TMZ ... she feels "horrible" and it was an honest mistake. The guard thought Britney paid and she believed he paid the bill.

But here's the real headline -- She's worth north of $50 million and she took the salad home in a doggie bag. Waste not, want not.

Britney made things right with the waitress ... in a big way!

9:32 A.M. PDT -- Sources close to the show tell us ... producers had an emergency meeting Tuesday night to address how to proceed with reunion episode -- which continues filming today. We're told cast members will be kept in separate areas during filming ... and they've done away with the live audience for safety reasons.

A huge brawl erupted during the taping of the "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" reunion show in NYC Tuesday night … leaving several cast members -- and their weaves -- injured.

Multiple sources on the set tell us the fight involved Benzino, his fiancee Althea, Stevie J, Joseline, Debra, Tammy, and Mimi -- and the whole mess started when Benzino cracked a joke about Stevie J and Joseline doing drugs.

We're told Stevie jumped up to get in Benzino's grill, but security guards stopped him. That's when --according to witnesses -- Stevie's girl Joseline sneak attacked Althea.

After that, all hell broke loose -- weaves were torn out in the chaos -- and every time security broke up one fight … a different one would spark up between other cast members.

We're told most of the fighting was between the women -- although at least one male security guard took a shot to the face … from one of the chicks.

From what we can tell the only smart decision all night was someone calling 911. Cops and paramedics responded -- at least three people got treatment.

We know what you're wondering, and the answer is -- YES … we're told VH1 cameras were rolling during most of the violence.

The seeds of ratchetness appear to have been sown Monday night ... when a nude pic of Benzino and Althea was posted on Stevie J's Twitter page.

FYI ... Jagermeister -- aka that stuff you swore you'd never drink again after college -- is 70 proof and no one should EVER try and slam a bottle by themselves.

But Richards isn't known for making the best life choices and loaded up the funnel when his co-star Mattie Breaux challenged him to go through with the brain cell-destroying stunt.

The principal of Beverly Hills High School -- the inspiration for "90210" and the alma mater of a gaggle of celebs including Angelina Jolie, Nic Cage, Lenny Kravitz and Monica Lewinsky -- claims the school district is out to get him and every other African-American who works there.

Carter Paysinger claims in a new lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- the all-white Beverly Hills School Board targeted him because he's Black. He says one member told him, "One of the problems that you have is that you don't look like what a principal of Beverly Hills High School should look like."

Paysinger says another member once said, "It would be easier if he had lighter skin ... and he looks more intelligent when he wears glasses."

Paysinger has worked for the district for 4 decades, as a longtime football coach who became principal in 2010. In fact, he was a student at BHHS ... he was the black version of Andrea Zuckerman, who was bussed in ... well, not from the Valley, but from South Central.

But it gets a little tricky. Paysinger was investigated by the L.A. County D.A. for wrongfully taking money from students who attended a summer sports camp. The camp was privately funded but was held on campus. Paysinger said he had been taking a fee for 15 years and everyone knew and no one complained. Ultimately the D.A. rejected the case.

And the Principal says the District is now out to get him and his family. He claims

the Board has made a decision to rid the school of all minorities.

Paysigner is still principal but he feels the District has tarnished his reputation so he's suing for damages.

Casper Smart's post-Jennifer Lopez life may have fewer champagne wishes and caviar dreams ... but dude can still afford a (sorta) fancy new hair style.

Smart went full Asian on Tuesday ... strolling out of Philippe Chow while rocking a mean Samurai-styled topknot.

Casper was pretty talkative too -- giving us his pro-dancer review of J.Lo's recent twerkfest in Miami, but more importantly ... he told us what the hell he was thinking when he got his hair chopped.

Seth MacFarlane's now-famous teddy bear was lifted from a 2008 screenplay about an eerily similar furry creature who had a penchant for booze and prostitutes ... so claims the company that is suing Seth.

Bengal Mangle Productions claims it created a screenplay called "Acting School Academy" ... about a teddy bear named Charlie who lives in a human world. The screenplay became a web series that was a big hit on YouTube, FunnyorDie and others.

The Production company does NOT claim it had any dealings with MacFarlane, but alleges there's no way he didn't know about it since Charlie was such a hit.

The lawsuit claims Ted's characteristics are strikingly similar to Charlie's -- both hang out on the couch, smoke and drink beer, they have friends who are washed up child stars and they're both active on social media.

The suit also lists similar tweets.

-- Charlie: I don't like cocaine. I just like the smell of it July, 2009
-- Ted: Just acid, and coke, and ex and DMT. That's where I draw the lines June, 2012

-- Charlie: I'm a bear and my nose is at crotch level. What do women expect? March, 2009

3:45 PM PT -- Rihanna has now tweeted a message praying for peace ... and an end to the conflict in the Middle East.

Rihanna deleted her #FreePalestine tweet 8 minutes after she posted it because she says it was never meant to be sent out in the first place ... a source close to the singer tells TMZ.

One source connected to the situation tells TMZ, "She deleted it because it was never meant to be tweeted," adding, "She didn't even realize it was a tweet until she started hearing from her fans."

The source says Rihanna was reading about the Middle East conflict online when she clicked a link. The next thing she knew ... her fans were asking her why she was pro-Palestine.

Our source says Rihanna is not pro-Palestine or pro-Israel ... "she is pro-peace," saying, "She doesn't want innocent people dying."

So we gotta ask ...

The drunken 'hooligans' who got arrested after throwing beer bottles at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion are anything but slackers ... they are heroes and brainiacs who could shame anyone in an SAT face-off.

You'll recall, the trio was busted when they allegedly flipped off Taylor's security guards after hurling the brewski bottles.

So check out the ne'er-do-wells.

As for Michael Horrigan -- the 29-year-old was working on a ferry crew on the Long Island Sound last May with Tristan ... when a 12-year-old girl's canoe capsized. Both guys helped pull her to safety, and got citations from Connecticut for heroism.

Kylie Jenner has broken the law AGAIN behind the wheel of her Mercedes.

Kylie was pulled over on the 101 Freeway Monday after cops noticed she was driving her G-Wagon with tinted windows. The CHP officer looked inside and saw the 16-year-old was driving with a friend.
Here's the problem. There's a law in California ... a new driver who is 16 can't have a teenager as a passenger unless there's also an adult 25 or over who is accompanying them.

So Kylie got 2 tickets -- one for tinted windows and the other for driving with a teen -- which add to her vehicular hijinks. She crashed the same SUV last August, 18 days after she got her license. And she also got a ticket allegedly for speeding in January.

They need that reality show to pay her insurance premium.

The producer of "All in the Family," "Sanford and Sons" and "Good Times" is being sued by his former houseman who claims he was fired after the producer's daughter falsely accused him of rape.

Bud Yorkin -- who famously teamed up with Norman Lear to produce some of the biggest shows ever on TV -- hired Noe Massin as his houseman in the Motion Picture Television Fund Retirement Home in Calabasas, CA. Noe also worked for Bud's wife Cynthia at their Bev Hills estate. BTW, Cynthia is an actress who appeared as Dr. Annie Cavanero in "St. Elsewhere."

According to Massin's suit ... he was in his room at the mansion one night when Yorkin's daughter began to aggressively knock at his door. He says he opened the curtain and saw her standing naked, demanding to be let in. He says he refused, and she went to her mom and accused him of rape.

Noe says he was fired shortly thereafter and is now suing for defamation and back wages.

Brody Jenner called radishes on reports he and Kim Kardashian are in a blood feud.

Brody was at the 9th Annual All-Star Celebrity Kickoff Party Monday in West Hollywood when he was asked if he was intentionally dissing his step-sister by attending Reggie Bush's wedding but not hers.

Lil Twist -- who was arrested for DUI, stumbled and swayed during the field sobriety test and admitted to smoking weed just before driving ... BEAT THE RAP because cops say he wasn't THAT stoned.

It's just plain weird. Twist was stopped a year ago for doing 69 MPH in a 30 and running a red light. Cops noticed a lit blunt in the center console and smelled the weed. They also noticed his eyes were bloodshot and his speech was "deliberate and lethargic."

Twist admitted he'd been smoking. He then failed the field sobriety test ... he couldn't touch his nose, couldn't walk a straight line, and swayed when he tried standing on 1 leg and his eyes were rolling.

Seems like case closed, right? It was, because the D.A. REJECTED the case. The reasons:

-- Cops waited an hour and 46 minutes before taking a blood sample. The amount of weed in his system was not high enough to indicate impairment.

-- His field sobriety results were only "moderately bad."

-- The senior criminologist couldn't argue on the stand he was impaired to drive.

So all Twist ended up with was 3 tickets -- speeding, failing to stop at a red light and possession of less than 1 oz. of weed.

Rihanna partied so hard at the World Cup … even a little poopy water couldn't stop her good times.
For some reason she took a dip at Urca Beach where pollution is so bad, people usually can't go in the water.

And yet, RiRi frolicking in a fecal tide wasn't the strangest part of Rio's festivities … for some people.

"Clean House New York" screwed over a person they pretended to help ... by sticking him with the income tax bill on his remodel ... so claims the man who also said the show wrecked his pad.

Paul McClure appeared on CHNY in 2011 after his mother died ... leaving him with a lot of clutter. He says the show offered to redesign his Manhattan pad and remove all the junk.

But McClure says the 'Clean House' crew promised not to make any structural changes but they knocked down a wall, damaged furniture, and made shoddy repairs ... according to his lawsuit. He also claims they got rid of an expensive rug, some vintage doors and stuff with sentimental value.

McClure says he was told Uncle Sam is entitled to taxes on the value of the remodel but the show promised to foot the bill. McClure says the show only paid part, so he's pissed.

McClure is suing for $300K minimum.

The woman who accused Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst of rape, flat out LIED ... and lied to get attention.

It's shameful and shocking ... Joanie Faircloth says she pressed her claim publicly for 6 months. But now she says, "I made up those lies about him to get attention while I was going through a difficult period in my life and trying to cope with my son's illness."

Faircloth -- who claimed Conor came onto her backstage after a 2003 concert and forced himself on her after she said she was a virgin -- now apologizes to Conor, his family and his fans. She also acknowledges her conduct could undermine legitimate sexual assault claims.

But some damage has already been done. For starters, Conor says his publishing company did not pick up a $200,000 option which he attributes to the bad press Faircloth created.

Brooke Mueller has formed a new alliance in the tangled relationship between Charlie Sheen's wives and his fiancee ... and guess who may have more kids.

Brooke and Scottine Sheen took Max and Bob to an ice cream joint in Bev Hills Sunday.

Scottine dropped a bombshell ... she and Charlie -- who has 5 kids -- are thinking of having babies.
